Hey all! Time for a new chapter! I hope you enjoyed learning the origins of Gigan and Megalon, our favorite duo. I've always been fascinated by Gigan, and how he must have become the killing machine he is in the movies, so I thought, why not explore that. I also loved taking the opportunity to show that Megalon actually is not stupid, but has a severely damaged brain, and also why Gigan puts up with him. Ever since I made that video for the YouTube series, I've received numerous requests to have something happen that makes Megalon back to how he was before. I'm gonna go ahead and answer those now. I love getting ideas from you guys, and I always welcome them. But that particular one, I have to turn down. While this story is mostly comical, it's also something of a tragedy. Anguirus' parents is one example. Megalon is another, and there's more tragedy to come, so brace yourselves. But back to Megalon. Something being shoved into your brain just isn't something that can be fixed. So, no. There is no happing ending for Gigan and Megalon in that sense. The old Megalon is pretty much dead. There could be a different kind of happy ending for them in store, but Megalon's brain simply can't be fixed. This is who he is for the remainder of the story. I love the idea, but it just can't work. So, now that I've utterly depressed you, let's move on. This chapter is kind of a combination of the final part of Gigan Begins and Copacabadguy. I've decided against doing the big Club for Villains on Farro Island that I did in the show. That was a special episode I wanted to do for the season finale, that had tons of villains(and ALF) from different series showing up. Everything from Dracula to Freddy Krueger to Marvin the Martian to Invader Zim to Plankton to Lord Zedd to Joker to Darth Vader to King K. Rool to Bowser and so forth. I'm not doing that here, because I'm wanting to keep the fanfic Kaiju related with pretty much no crossovers, aside from Ultras, cause they fit the genre. If you want to see that episode, feel free to look it up. It's Godzilla: Adventures on Monster Island, Episode 10: Copacabadguy. It was a lot of fun to make. In any case, the negotiations between the two villain groups will simply take place on Fog Mountain instead of the villain club, and since I'm cutting out all the cameos, this chapter will probably be short and sweet. But don't worry. Much more to come in the future! So, let's begin!
Chapter 14
The Meeting
Gigan sat alone in an empty field on Monster Island. He hated days like this, where his past came flashing back to haunt him. It wasn't fair what had happened to him and Megalon, but it still happened and he couldn't fix it. He remembered that he had once been a peaceful creature, and longed to have that back. But the Nebulans had made him into a henchman, and it was now all he knew. It was too late to go back, even if he did want to. Exhausted from the mental stress of his memories, Gigan let out a sigh, and collapsed, wishing things could be different.
"Gigan," yelled Megalon, approaching his buddy. "What are you doin'?"
Gigan looked at him. "Just thinking about the past. Wishin' I could rewrite history."
Megalon gasped in horror and rushed to his friend. "No! Don't do that Gigan! The teacher would get you in big trouble for writing in your history book!"
Gigan smiled. "Yeah, I guess you're right, my friend."
"Oh," said Megalon. "King, Ghidorah, and Kevin wanna see you! I bet they're gonna give you a big kiss on the lips!"
"Ugh," said Gigan, picturing it. "That's worse than what I was already thinking about! Ah well. Let's go see what they want."
"Uh...hey boss. What's he doing here?" Gigan pointed his claw to the smog monster that was standing beside King Ghidorah.
Ghidorah answered, "Hedorah is here to make a deal with us. Do you still have the model for project Nebula Space Hunter M1972?"
"Yeah, it's in the supply room. Why?"
"Just get it, lacky," ordered King.
"And get me a lollipop," laughed Kevin.
Gigan left to get the object. Ghidorah turned to their guest. "Now then, Hedorah. What do you have for us in return."
Hedorah pulled out a big set of blueprints. "These are Destoroyah's plans for an army of robots he called MOGUERA. With these plans, you'll have an unstoppable force at your command to kill Godzilla with."
"Why would he part with those," asked King. "SpaceGodzilla would never allow it. He wants to kill Godzilla himself!"
"Agreed," said Ghidorah, with a hint of suspicion. "Or do they even know you're here?"
"I know he's here," said Kevin. "He's standing right there. Right beside Jasper."
"Who the heck is Jasper," asked King.
"The giant pink bunny standing beside Melvin, of course!"
"Who...you know what? Forget it."
Ghidorah ignored his other heads, and simply awaited Hedorah's answer. "Look, Ice Godzilla was very specific. He sent me here to do this trade because he desperately needs that model.
"Ice Godzilla," questioned Ghidorah.
"Er...I mean SpaceGodzilla. It's those shoulder crystals you know. They look like ice. Heh heh. But yeah, he's totally chill with this trade."
Ghidorah, didn't like it. There had to be some trick here. But, that MOGUERA army would be fantastic. It was almost worth risking.
"Here it is," announced Gigan, presenting the miniature model. "The Godzilla Tower, complete with instructions for building."
"Excellent," said Hedorah. He turned back to the three-headed dragon. "So, do we have a deal, or what?"
Ghidorah looked at King, who nodded. He looked at Kevin, who had slithered to the bottom half of the body, and was peeing in his own mouth. Ghidorah rolled his eyes. "Very well, Hedorah. You have a deal."
"Good! I'd uh...I'd shake your hand, except, well, you know...you don't have any."
"Just take your model, and beat it!"
"No, don't beat it," said Megalon. "Gigan loves that thing! Just follow the instructions!"
"Uh...yeah," said Hedorah. "Good idea."
Hedorah shrieked as his sludgy feet were suddenly frozen solid by the misty breath of Ice Godzilla. "What are you doing to me," screamed Hedorah.
"Orga tells me, you slipped and mentioned my name! Or was it a slip?"
"No master," said Orga. "I think he did it on purpose! He was probably dropping hints so that three-headed freak would help him!"
"What," gasped Hedorah. "No! No! It was a simple mistake, that's all! I swear. Didn't Orga tell you I recovered it nicely? That should count for something, right?"
Ice Godzilla wasn't having it, and unleashed more icy breath onto Hedorah, freezing him all the way up to his neck. Orga howled with laughter as he watched.
Ice Godzilla slowly approached Hedorah. "There's no room for accidents when you work for me, you pathetic has-been!"
"I'm no has-been," said Hedorah, his anger rising.
Orga rushed forward and slammed his gigantic fist into Hedorah's head. "Don't argue with the master! You understand!?"
"Enough," said Ice Godzilla. "Orga, keep an eye on him. Bring him to me when he's thawed out. We're all gonna take a little trip. We can't take any chances with Ghidorah possibly suspecting something. I'm afraid we'll have to deal with that freak at once."
"As you command, master." Ice Godzilla turned, and exited the cavern that was once SpaceGodzilla's home.
Hedorah sighed. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really miss SpaceGodzilla and Destoroyah."
"Yeah," asked Orga, cracking his knuckles. "I'll have to see if I can knock those thoughts out of your head while you thaw out. Heh heh heh."
