Moving on to the story and answering more questions.
But first the resolution of my question. Yes, it was inspired by the Gravity Falls episode.
What is your favorite Cuphead character?
- Difficult since I have several favorites from both the game and the show. Of the main characters I like both brothers while of the bosses I like Cagney, Bon Bon, Brineybeard, Cala Maria, The Howling Aces, Hilda Berg, Sally, The Devil and Mortimer.
Are you into other video games and/or show? If so, then what are they?
- Besides Cuphead, I also play other games like Pokemon, Zelda, Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West, Ratchet and Clank, Team Fortress 2, Monster Hunter, ARK, and more. From the series at the moment The Witcher and Pokemon
Did you check out the extended version of The Devil's Song on YouTube?
- I listened to the lyrics and was very surprised.
Any favourite villain quotes from films, shows or video games you'd like Luke Millington-Drake to recite in his Devil's voice?
- "Long live the King" from Scar
Any favourite songs from The Cuphead Show so far?
- difficult, but I like the part from Sweet Temptation where Cuphead takes off and Bon Bon runs after him, confused, and the scene where the Imps from Sweater Off Dead twitch and look confused when Stickler calls in.
How were you first introduced to the Cuphead game and when did you get into the franchise?
- I really don't know exactly but I was able to thank Bendy when I saw some artwork with him and the two brothers.
Until Then.
"Okay why are you taking a disposable jar full of coins?" asked Alicia carrying the rug on her shoulder while she and Cuppy followed behind the two brothers. Elder Kettle didn't actually want to throw the rug away and use it for his room. But when he himself had exchanged his body with Mugman's, he decided he would rather sell it. "I'm sure Porkrind is asking a lot," he said. But Alicia believes rather less. Sure the carpet was already a special feature. According to Elder Kettle, he bought it from a man named Stan who wanted to get rid of it. I wonder why. "Oh you'll see Ali" said Cuphead as he tapped on the jar of coins. Ali is that my new nickname now? she wondered. Well, it's better than Alice. Porkrind's wagon was already in sight.
The four of them made their way to the wagon. Not knowing that something was happening inside. "So, you got that package?" asked a hooded figure standing in front of the sales counter. "Yeah," Porkrind replied as he turned to pick up the goods he was packing on the counter. It was a box with Danger written on it. From it he took out a box of grenades, two bags of gunpowder, a spool of piano wire and a tube of toothpaste. He showed these to the figure before putting them back into the box. "Nobody procures black-market goods like you do, Porkrind" said the figure and took the box and was about to leave when Porkrind stopped him.
"Shh! Don't use my real name!" he explained while looking around as if the two were being watched. "I like to keep a low profile," he whispered to him. The figure nodded and was about to leave when there was a knock at the door. Both of them flinched. "I wonder who that can be?" asked Porkrind as he walked to the door and opened it. In front of it stood Alicia and the three cups. "Hi, Porkrind!" said Alicia. "Morning," he said, seeming a little annoyed as he looked from her to the three cups. "What are you guys doing here?" he asked as he wrinkled his nose in annoyance. "Um actually we are here to sell this rug" Alicia said as she opened the door wider and walked into the store followed by the three cups.
The figure that was slowly moving towards the exit heard it and hid the box behind him so that the others would not see it. "Let's see what the carpet looks like and I can give you a price" said Porkrind looking at her. She nodded and unrolled the carpet. Both Porkrind and the figure looked at the carpet in amazement. "Could it be the one I think it is?" the figure asked as it approached the rug and was about to touch it. "Hey don't touch!" said Cuppy as he swatted the Figure hand away from the carpet. Porkrind, meanwhile, took a closer look at the carpet when he saw the label. "Hmm so it is the carpet after all" he said quietly. "All right, I'll buy it from you for a hundred bucks," said Porkrind. Alicia didn't say no to that and nodded as Porkrind handed her the money while she rolled the rug back up and handed it over.
The figure was now gone and Cuphead and Mugman approached the sales counter. "Today's the day, Porkrind," Cuphead said as he and Mugman approached with the glass. "We've been saving up our chore nickels!" he said, shaking the glass back and forth which annoyed Porkrind even more than before. "Can you guess what we're gonna spend them on?" Cuphead asked him. "No," said Porkrind, annoyed. Alicia noticed and was about to intervene because Cuphead didn't stop shaking the glass. But he stopped and turned to a pinball machine that she only now saw. "The greatest game in all the Inkwell Isles," he said, walking over to the machine with Mugman and Cuppy. "Well, it's a little bit scary," Mugman added, which confused Alicia. It's not a horror game Mugsy. But she knew that the younger brother was a little more reserved than Cuphead and Cuppy.
"Dirk Dangerous vs. The Volcano!" Cuphead said as the three stood in front of the pinball machine. Cuphead grinned like a honey cake horse, Cuppy was a little confused but wanted to try it out. Only Mugman looked worried. Alicia noticed this and stood behind him to calm him down. He noticed and looked up at her. "Don't worry nothing will scare you" she promised him. Cuppy took the jar with the coins from him while Cuphead took a pair of goggles from his pocket and put them on. "Nickel me" Cuphead said as he held out his hand. Cuppy took a coin from the glass and gave it to Cuphead who inserted it into the machine. Mugman swallowed and began to sweat slightly from nervousness. The machine made a clicking sound and was ready for use.
With each glow in the machine, Mugman winced and became more and more frightened. Alicia saw it and decided to distract him from the game. She tapped his shoulder "Hey want to take a look around the store?" she asked him. "I'd love to" he said and went along with her although he turned to the game every now and then. The sounds the machine made could be heard throughout the store. This was not only annoying for Alicia but also for Porkrind. He turned his attention to the two standing in front of a wall with various goods. From food to decorations, everything was on the shelf. Alicia looked with interest at the notebook with a black cover on which various symbols were carved that was wrapped with a red ribbon which in turn was held tightly with a brooch on which a wolf's head could be seen that had similarities with the wolf medallion of Geralt of Rivia.
"Interested in the old notebook?" asked Porkrind them. Mugman winced as he clung to Alicia. "Yeah it looks nice already" she said as Porkrind took it off the shelf and walked to the sales counter. Alicia and Mugman followed him. The latter looked at the sales counter while Porkrind packed Alicia's goods. "Hey, Porkrind! Whatcha doin'?" he asked, looking curiously at the sales counter. On these were all sorts of odds and ends that Alicia paid no attention to. Only when she saw him reaching for a pair of brass knuckles did she intervene. "That looks neat", "No Mugsy that's not for you!" she said and took away the item she gave to Porkrind. Confused, he looks at the jar that had a cucumber in it. "What's in the jar?" he asked, "Hands off!" said Porkrind and took the jar away as well. Alicia saw the bomb and immediately picked it up before Mugman could even ask what it was. "Classified" said Porkrind as he took the bomb from her, interrupting Mugman. On the shelf behind the sales counter, he put the items down so Mugman couldn't reach them.
Porkrind groaned and leaned against the wall while Alicia tapped her foot on the floor to get attention from him. "Oh yeah that's right your change!" he said and opened the register to hand Alicia the change. But before she could hold it in her hands they both flinched. "Whoa! Porkrind!" said Mugman who was standing in front of a shoe rack examining the shoes. "A shoe!". Alicia didn't know why but she had to laugh when she saw Mugman. "I found a shoe on the road and put it on my foot" he explained. Alicia saw that Porkrind was more than annoyed because he was still holding the change in his hand. "The shoe was too small. I wore it anyway. I lost my show earlier and it popped right on!". The sound of the Pinball machine and Mugman's conversation gave not only Alicia a headache, but also Porkrind. "I realized the shoe I found was my shoe!" Mugman continued to explain while Cuppy was now playing the pinball machine and was apparently better than Cuphead.
"It wasn't too small. Just a family of mice living inside" Again, Alicia thought that was cute. She knew when Mugman came home with the shoe and showed the mouse family. "Oh look, that's Fievel and his family" that confused him a bit until she explained who Fievel was. "I named them. Wanna know what I named them?" he asked Porkrind who was now crumpling the money in anger. "I named the mama Ding, I named the papa Ding-Ding" as he said this the pinball machine was heard over and over again. "And I named their baby..." he paused for a moment. "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" The machine looked up red as Cuphead and Cuppy rejoiced. But not pleased was Porkrind who pushed the sales counter aside and went after the three cups with a wooden hammer to smash their cup heads with it. Everywhere was a white liquid spread on the floor with broken pieces and the three straws. The bodies stopped for a moment before falling over. Porkrind was reassured but did not know that there was someone behind him.
He turned around and was greeted by two yellow eyes looking at him before a mouth opened from which he saw blue flames surrounding him. That he was panic-stricken was obvious. But suddenly he heard a voice that pulled him out of the daydream he had. Or rather day nightmare? "Porkrind, Porkrind, PORKRIND!" said a female voice. "Huh?" he asked confused as he looked to Alicia. "I'd like the change today, if you don't mind?". Porkrind was confused and shook his head to clear his mind. "Sure no problem" he said and dropped the money that landed in Alicia's hand. Even though it was just a daydream, he still heard Mugman trying to talk to him while Cuphead and Cuppy were playing on the pinball machine. "Hey, Porkrind! Porkrind! Porkrind!" said Mugman over and over. The latter looked even more angry than before until an idea occurred to him. "You know, you four would be perfect for a special job," he said, but he quickly changed his mind. "Eh, never mind, it's probably too dangerous".
"Dangerous?" both Cupheads said as they turned away from the game to look at Porkrind. "Dangerous?" asked Mugman shakily as he clung to Alicia's leg. The latter looked from Mugman to Porkrind. "How dangerous is this job?" she asked him as she leaned against the sales counter. "Oh, yeah. Very scary." he said nonchalantly as the others came to the sales counter. Mugman clung even tighter around Alicia's leg. "I need a delicate package picked up from this very dangerous location" He took a piece of paper out of his pocket, which Cuppy immediately took while the others looked over his shoulders. The paper said "Mt. Eruptus" with a small island with an active volcano on it. "Mt. Eruptus?!" Cuphead said as he looked from the note to Porkrind. Cuppy was just confused and so was Alicia who took the note to have a closer look at it. "Mount Eruptus?" asked Mugman nervously as he began to sweat.
Porkrind nodded "Yep. That's the name of the place" he said and looked at the four. "I can sense within you three the bravery required to complete this mission" he pointed at Alicia and the two Cupheads. Both grinned. Well Cuphead grinned Cuppy looked more neutral and didn't know what was coming. Alicia was still looking at the note when she was surprised by the finger. But his gaze wandered from the three to Mugman. "You, not so much," he said with a wavering hand. That didn't really please Mugman to be portrayed as a coward. "Well, I take offense. I could be dangerous too" he said in a huff as he turned and left the store with Cuphead and Cuppy. "Yeah. Don't wait up for us" said Cuphead. Only Alicia stayed in the store to pack her things into the shoulder bag Sally had given her. Why do I get the feeling we're going to the wrong place? She turned over the paper and knew what the "important job" was.
She walked out of the store and saw Cuphead trying to motivate his brother. He pushed him to the mirror that was outside. "Whenever I need a little extra confidence, I slap on these Dirk Dangerouse goggles" he put the goggles on him and still looked nervous and not brave. "These things have some kind of magical power" he explained to his brother. But Alicia and Cuppy were not so sure if that was true. It wasn't the master sword from Zelda. "Really?" asked Mugman to his brother. "Would I lie about something this important?" Cuphead asked him as he put the goggles back on that Mugman was about to take off again."I'm telling you, when I put these on, I'm infused with confidence and bravery!" when Mugman heard that, he looked at himself in the mirror "Confidence and bravery?". Alicia walked up to the three of them and was about to say where they were supposed to go, "Um, guys, we need to-" "Oh, yeah! Cuphead, I'm feeling a little dangerous" he interrupted her. The three of them didn't know that they were supposed to pick up the laundry that had the same name as the mountain. Kind of ironic, isn't it? She rolled her eyes. "That's the spirit! Next stop, Mount Eruptus!" said Cuphead.
The three of them looked at Alicia, which confused her a bit. "Um, why are you looking at me like that?" she asked until she remembered. She could transform into a Wyvern, making the journey easier. But it was daytime, not night. People would see her and then panic would ensue. She didn't want to prevent that, so she changed into her wolf form and let the three of them on her back. Surprisingly, Mugman sat in front followed by Cuppy and Cuphead which confused Alicia. But she said nothing and ran off before Porkrind or even anyone saw her. When they arrived in town, the four of them went to the harbor, which confused Alicia because they went right past the laundry. "Um guys we have to go in here?" but the three mugs ignored her and went down to the dock. From there they could see the mountain. "There she is!" said Mugman as he looked up at the mountain. out of it came a fire bubble that exploded and left a cloud of smoke behind.
Don't tell me you want to go to the island. But the three cups were already on the jetty and stopped in front of a small boat. "This tub oughta do nicely" said Cuphead leaning against it. But Mugman disagreed and pointed to something else. It was a small wooden raft tied to the dock. "Shouldn't we get the one that's most seaworthy?" asked Cuppy to him. "Dirk Dangerous doesn't do seaworthy" said Mugman who was standing on the raft. "He does dangerous." "But we can't all fit on the raft" said Alicia who was clearly too heavy for that. "Dearest Alicia you can just fly over and wait for us there" said Mugman in a strange voice that sounded like a gentleman. Okay Cuphead what have you done with Mugsy? But before she could say anything, Mugman took both Cupheads and removed the rope from the jetty as he headed for the island.
Alicia didn't know what to do, so she looked around several times before transforming into her Wyvern form and flying over the sea to land on the island. There she waited for the three cups. But she suddenly heard screams and saw them fall down a waterfall. When did the river appear there? She did not think about it and flew to the three to save them. But she could only catch Cuppy while the other two landed in the water. She landed next to the waterfall when she saw Cuphead coming out of the water. "That was..." he paused for a moment, "sensational!" Mugman also came out of the water, but he was no longer wearing the goggles Cuphead had given him. "You just follow me, Cuphead, Alicia and Cuppy" he said "These goggles give me a sense of adventure you can't possibly comprehend". They appeared behind him before being devoured by a crocodile, which worried the other three.
"What? What happened?" he asked the others as he looked around. "Nothing! You just, uh..." That Cuphead was nervous was evident from his face. "Look so brave in your goggles, which you're wearing, is what Cuphead wanted to say" Alicia finished the sentence as Mugman looked to her and nodded. "Great. Let's move" both walked out of the water and into the jungle. Well, Mugman went ahead because Alicia was holding up the two Cupheads. "You guys should let him know we're supposed to be picking up laundry," she said, showing them the note. "So we came here because we misread it?" asked Cuppy as he looked at Cuphead with an annoyed look. "I just wanted to motivate him a little bit, that's all" Cuphead said nervously, "When Mugman finds out that he doesn't wear the goggles anymore, he gets scared", "But putting him in danger unnecessarily doesn't help us, Cuphead" Alicia said annoyed as she followed Mugman into the jungle.
This one climbed over a rock that Alicia could jump over thanks to her wolf form with the two Cupheads on her back. The deeper they got into the jungle the more dangers they had to overcome like carnivorous plants that spit at them with a liquid that Alicia and Cuppy managed to avoid. But not Cuphead who was hit by it. The liquid caused his face to swell. Alicia was glad that she wasn't caught and that she could jump the river from which Mugman came followed by Cuphead and Cuppy who were bitten by piranhas. "Ow, Ow, Ow" the two said as they tried to remove the piranhas. But they took off when they saw the sharp teeth of Alicia's wolf form. The two climbed back onto her back as they continued to follow Mugman, who jumped with a vine over a carnivorous plant that snapped shut above him. Alicia jumped over it too, but Cuppy fell into the plant. Enraged, she broke the plant's jaw before she could free Cuppy.
The four of them had arrived at the foot of the mountain, which was a great relief to Cuphead and Cuppy. But they all had to climb it. But Alicia had no form in which to climb the mountain, so she flew up in her Wyvern form to look for the three. "Come on, Cuphead and Cuppy! We gotta prove Porkrind wrong!" said Mugman. "Maybe we've had enough danger for one day?" Cuppy said as he and the others continued to climb the mountain. Lava flowed out of the mountain and blocked the way for the three. Alicia couldn't really land either, but flew around the mountain several times until she noticed a nest with an egg in it. "We don't even know what this delicate package is!" Cuphead said, clinging to the mountain like Cuppy and trying not to look down. "Oh, yeas we do!" said Mugman pointing to the nest next to where Alicia landed. She looked at the egg and noticed something moving inside. It was not difficult to guess that it was a dragon egg. Hagrid would be happy about that. Alicia thought. But she did not want to steal it. If the egg was here, the mother would have to be nearby.
"Eggs are delicate packages" Mugsy said and was about to go further when the ground beneath them gave way and the three fell down. Mugman could still hold on while he grabbed his brother with his other hand. Only Cuppy landed on Alicia's wyvern back and scared her a little. She turned to him and then to Cuphead and Mugman. "If we don't turn back, we're gonna die!" said Cuphead fearfully as he clung to Mugman's leg. "You're dead if you don't tell him the truth Cuphead!" said Alicia. This confused Mugman. "What truth?" asked Mugman in confusion as he looked down at his brother and the others. Cuphead looked at him fearfully as he blurted out the truth. "You lost the googles! You haven't been wearing them for hours!" said Cuphead. Hearing this, Mugman touched his face to make sure he was wearing the goggles. "No...No goggles?". He didn't feel them and got scared as he threatened to fall down with Cuphead.
But Cuphead was still able to hold on and catch his brother "This is bad. This is bad!" Mugman kept saying when Cuphead couldn't hold on anymore and fell down with him. But both landed on something scaly. Both opened their eyes and were with Cuppy on the back of Alicia who was still able to catch them both. She landed on another ledge as she turned to Cuphead and looked at him angrily. He knew why she was angry "I'm sorry, Mugsy. I shoulda told you the goggles came off" he said while crying. Mugman stood up and looked confused at his brother while Alicia looked away from the three and left them alone. She knew that the three of them were having a serious conversation that needed to be cleared up right now. "Wait. If I wasn't wearing the goggles, that means I did that dangerous stuff without them!" Mugman said, confusing the others. "Yeah, but you could have put yourself and us in danger if I hadn't caught you, you two would have been broken pieces," Alicia said as the two brothers looked down from her.
The way down was very deep and both knew that they would not have survived. "Besides, we were just supposed to pick up the laundry, nothing more," Cuppy said as he showed Mugman the back of the note. "So Porkrind doesn't want the egg?" asked Mugsy Alicia. She looked at him and shook her head. All three groaned in relief when they heard this. "But still, I can't believe I did all that without the goggles" said Mugman as he turned to Cuppy and Cuphead. "The goggles were inside me this whole time!" Mugman said proudly. Cuppy was a little confused but understood what he meant. Cuphead, on the other hand, took it literally, "Gross. But I see your point" he said as the mountain suddenly began to shake. The volcano threatened to erupt and cover everything with lava. Even the nest. "We have to save the egg!" said Mugman and ordered Alicia to take him to the egg. "Are you crazy Mugsy, I'm not putting you in mortal danger!" she said and spread her wings to fly off.
But the begging of the three cups changed her mind. "All right, I'll do it, but when the mother comes, I'll blame you!" she said and flew to the nest, which was almost enclosed by the lava and began to burn. But before it could reach the egg, Alicia grabbed it and flew away with it. Hopefully the mother won't attack me. But a roar interrupted her as the cups looked behind them and screamed in fear. So much for that. Alicia turned around and was surprised when she saw Grim with three heads. You could see the anger in his eyes when he saw the huge black Wyvern holding his egg in its claws. "Hey, relax, I'm not trying to steal your egg, I just saved it from the lava!" said Alicia in her dragon language. "Then prove it Wyvern!" said the three dragon heads as steam came out of their nostrils. Alicia pointed with her tail tip to the nest which now burned down completely and slowly disappeared in the lava. "Alright you talked me into it Wyvern. Give us the egg and then get out of here!" said Grim as Alicia placed the egg safely and carefully on a small ledge. Grim took it and flew away with it.
The three cups did not know exactly what the two had discussed because they heard only growling and roaring. Also they did not want to ask because Alicia was already more than enough annoyed and wanted to go home. But the laundry still had to be picked up, so Alicia flew back to the port to drop off the three brothers before transforming back into her human form. When they arrived at the laundry, they handed the note to the clerk who gave them a bag of newly washed laundry that belonged to Porkrind. "Tell him next time not to clean his pants with oil!" said the employee annoyed as the four left the laundry.
With the laundry, the four went back to Porkrind. He was looking at a brochure of a horse race when he looked up at the pinball machine on which cobwebs were already hanging. It was quiet and that pleased him very much. But the quiet was disturbed when the door opened and four familiar faces appeared. It was Alicia and the three mugs who were all more than exhausted from the trip. "Here's your delicate package, my good sir" said Mugman as he handed Porkrind the sack of linen. "Where have you guys been?" he asked, confused and annoyed, with his arms crossed. Cuppy, Cuphead and Mugman were confused. "You were gone for three days" said Porkrind which confused the three cups and Alicia. "Well, what do you expect?" said Cuphead annoyed. "You confused us a lot with that note!" said Cuppy. "Confused how?" asked Porkrind of the four. "We were on our way to the right mount Eruptus before we went to the laundry!" said Mugman. "If it hadn't been for Alicia, we almost brought you an egg instead of laundry!".
But Porkrind gave himself a face palm as he took the note from Mugman which was slightly burned. "All you had to do was turn the note over!" he said, showing the three mugs the back of the note where Mt. Eruptus Cleaners was written. "Oh!" said the three cups as Alicia just shook her head. "Oh, well" now she gave herself a face palm too and had to laugh herself. "I guess there's only one thing left to do, then" Cuphead said as the others looked to him. "Time to break my high score! He went to the pinball machine while the others followed him. But Mugman stopped him "Uh, Cuphead?", "What is it, Mugsy?" he asked. "I'm feeling a little..." he paused as he extended his left arm while bending the other. "...dangerous" Alicia looked at him and hoped very much that he didn't make any nonsense. But he went with his brother to the pinball machine.
"Nickel me" Mugsy said and received a coin from Cuphead which he was about to insert into the coin slot when Porkrind stopped him. "Oh, no, you don't!" he said angrily. With all his might he ripped the machine out of the wall and gave it to the three cups. "Here! Take it! And get out!" he yelled at the three who were delighted. Happily, the three walked out of the store while Mugman thanked Porkrind "Thank you, Porkrind!". Only Alicia was still in the store and more than confused about the thing that just happened. What was that? She shrugged her shoulders and was about to leave the store when Porkrind stopped her. "Wait, I have something that just arrived addressed to you" he said and went to the back to get it. Okay but I didn't order anything. She hoped she didn't get a package from the devil.
When he came back he held an envelope in his hand which he handed to her. She found no name of the sender on it and was about to open it, but Porkrind prevented her. "Don't open it here, open it when you get home". Alicia looked at him confused and took the envelope and put it in her shoulder bag while she went out of the store leaving him alone. "Well then let's see how my laundry is doing" he opened the bag and was greeted with a note that changed his mood. But Alicia was more than puzzled by the envelope. So she ran as fast as she could back to the cottage where the three brothers were playing with the pinball machine outside. The goat watched the three of them. None noticed that Alicia had walked past them and was in the guest room.
She locked the door, sat on her bed and took out the envelope Porkrind had given her. "Nothing bad, I hope," she said nervously, opening it slowly with her claws as she examined the contents. There was a message and an invitation inside the envelope. "Dear Attendee, you have been cordially invited to Inkwell Isle's annual dance ball" she read from the invitation. Now she was confused. Who had invited her? The invitation only said mayor. But she never met the mayor. Let alone had she ever had contact with him. So why would he want to invite her? "Alicia, could you please open the door?" Cuppy asked her. She stood up and opened the door for him and the other two who were also standing behind the door looking at her worriedly. "Is something wrong?" mugman asked her. "Um no...nothing is wrong why the question mugsy?" asked Alicia nervously when the three of them saw the invitation.
"We didn't know you were invited to the Annual Dance Ball" said Cuphead as he looked at the invitation. "Yeah, I'm confused about that too," she said as she scratched the back of her head. But the news got worse when Cuppy saw an important clue. "To attend the dance you will be accompanied by a companion with whom you will spend the evening" he said which did not please Alicia very much. Super another secret admirer. She would have preferred not to attend, but she could not refuse. The ball starts in two days and she has to attend. "We would need another dress for you" said Cuppy when he heard Alicia moaning. She hated it already. Great, the whole evening I have to walk around with a stupid dress! She lay with her face on the pillow and stayed like that while Mugman and the others tried to calm her down.
But who delighted in this was the devil who also managed to steal an invitation. On the guest list he saw the name Alicia Powell and was more than happy. "So my dearest Alicia is also taking part in the annual dance ball," he was very pleased. "Then I guess she needs a dance partner" he said chuckling. He had a plan and already knew how to force her to be his queen. "Yes, I will be her partner!" he said, taking his trident that was lying next to his throne and disappearing in a cloud of smoke. Alicia had no idea that she would soon meet the devil again.
