Angelic Time Through the Dark Jungle
Lincoln is seen in the battle-training arena as Alleyne is having do balance to make him be able to stand on a anything, like standing on a very thin pole with a sharp pointy tip that is about 32 feet tall.
"Alleyne, do I really have to do this?" Lincoln groaned in pain because he has to literally stand at the top with just one finger while being upside-down.
"Of course, a warrior must always be ready for anything such as finding himself in situations that could limit your movements very small." Alleyne explained the purpose of this training exercise.
"I doubt it's going to happen anytime soon." Lincoln rolled his eyes.
"Don't worry diss the lesson, little dude. It actually happened to me twice: the first time was when I was 9, accidentally went into a room mom us not to because I was missing a guitar pin and the second was when I climbed up a tree to the top 12 years ago." Luna mentioned.
"But that sort of thing rarely happens to none, plus the pole is really starting to hurt my finger." Lincoln groaned, feeling like the tip is going pierce his skin.
"You must endure the pain, toughen your body to become strong like iron or steel, whichever you think it's harder." Alleyne said.
"Does that include trying to withstand the blood rushing into my head?" Lincoln asked as he is starting to feel dizzy.
"Hmm, seeing you training this hard is a wonder that you're still alive." Laila impressed as she flies up close to Lincoln's face.
"Thanks, I would so be cool with the angel right now if I wasn't feeling like the blood was about to come out of my mouth." Lincoln said.
"It's still an honor to meet the White Warrior himself, when I was told that I was coming here to the mortal realm to meet you in person. I was a little scared at first, but you don't seem like a bad human." Laila said with a small smile.
"Thanks, and you are an awesome angel with a robotic wing." Lincoln complimented looking at Laila's left robotic wing.
"Thank you, it felt like it wasn't that long when we first met." Laila giggled with her cheeks blushing.
"Because it was only three days ago." Lincoln started to remember how he met this angel girl.
(Three Days Ago)
Lincoln is walking back to the Amazon city with Lisa and Carlota after seeing the ancient ruin and meeting Luna Luna, the white-haired boy couldn't forget about that kiss the dancing girl gave which was his very first kiss with a beautiful girl he just met today.
"Lincoln, tree." Carlota tried to warn Lincoln about he's about to bum into a tree, but it was too late.
Lincoln hit face-first to the trunk of the tree and fell on his back to the ground, then a pinecone fell from the tree branch and hit his head.
"Oh, we're back already?" Lincoln asked looking around him.
"About 51.3 seconds ago though you would have known that by now if you were distracted by the lips contact Luna Luna gave you." Lisa stated.
"Damn it, I can't stop thinking about it." Lincoln sighed.
"I take it that males having their first kiss with females is a big deal." Carlota guessed.
"More than you realize, it's like we started to learn about puberty all over again and right now, my heart is racing like crazy so much that I can't stop thinking about Luna Luna!" Lincolnd stated.
"Dude, anyone called my name?" Luna asked walking up to them.
"Not you, third oldest sister, Lincoln was referring the dancing moon woman who has the same name but twice." Lisa explained.
"Oh, so you met Double L., I was wondering when you two would meet. I've actually been wanting have you two to meet for some time now." Luna said as she helps pick up Lincoln.
"Yeah, we met at the ancient that glowed when I was inside." Lincoln said.
"The ancient ruin actually reacted to you? That's awesome, mom and my sisters are going to totally flip with things!" Luna excited.
"I was surprised by it too; Luna Luna's prediction really came true that is awesome!" Luna cheered for her dancing friend.
"Like having my first kiss with her." Lincoln mentioned out loud.
"Whoa, now that is epic. I wonder how mom is going to react to that?" Luna asked
"Indeed, if there isn't any other news that you wished to share with us since you came all the way out here other than just to greet us." Lisa said.
"Oh yeah, there is! Mom sent me out to find you guys to tell inform you about a special guess that came to the island." Luna mentioned.
"For real? But I thought this island is kept secret from the outside world?" Lincoln confused.
"It is, but this visitor is not on the normal level and came from high places." Luna said with a grin.
"You mean like a mountain or volcano?" Lincoln guessed.
"Way, way, way, WAY higher than that, white dude." Luna grinned.
"Come on, you are going to enjoy meeting this one. Mom and the rest of my sisters are already at the arena." Luna grabbed Lincoln's arm dragging him to the arena.
"Hey, do not forget the one with the brain!" Lisa called out as she runs after them.
"Guess we'll catch up with them later." Carlota said walking away.
"Carlota, your mom and sister are there too!" Luna mentioned.
"Oh, then it's off to the Arena then." Carlota changed her mind and made her way to the arena with the others.
They made their way to the arena where they see the royal Amazon family along with Ronnie Anne and Maria waiting for them.
"I got him, everyone." Luna showed Lincoln as he is catching his breath.
"Give me a sec, she ran faster than I could keep up." Lincoln panted.
"Lincoln, it would seem that your presence here has caught more attention from a higher place than I realize." Rita said, walking up to him with Laila next to her.
"This here is Laila, an angel from Heaven and yes, she is real." Rita introduced Laila to Lincoln.
"No way, a real-life angel! I thought you could only see them if you're dead!" Lincoln amazed of seeing a real angel right now.
"Yeah, we were all shock about it too and surprise because the angels haven't come to our island since sometime after the founding of this island." Lori mentioned.
"So, you're the boy the Amazon let on the island because you are the White Warrior in the prophecy that was foretold by the gods centuries ago." Laila leaned closer to check out Lincoln and noticing his white hair.
"That's what everyone has been telling me, and also because of the spirit test Lucy did on me. My name is Lincoln Loud, and it's an honor to meet an angel like yourself and it's even cooler that you have a robot wing!" Lincoln complimented on the metal wing.
"You… You really think it's cool?" Laila asked shock.
"Yeah, sure feather wings are great and all, but your metal one is unique and great like you were born to be something awesome." Lincoln believed.
"Aw, that's the sweetest thing I have ever heard a man said that about an angel." Lana amazed.
"That is so true, even though this is the first time Lincoln is meeting an angel right now." Lola agreed.
Laila was awestruck of how kind this boy is to her right now and suddenly memories of her childhood came in about other angels making fun of her, yet this one mortal believes her metal left wing is great as she starts to cry though held the tears back.
"Are you okay?" Lincoln asked.
"I'm fine, just never thought anyone would compliments my wing except for my mentor who is like a big sister to me, another angel I know, and the Head Angel." Laila smiled as she wipes away the last tear.
"Anyway, it looks like I'll be looking forward to learning more about you, Lincoln Loud." Laila said.
"Learning more about me, what do you mean?" Lincoln asked.
"My mentor and friend told me to come down to the Amazon Island to meet you in person which I just did and to spend ten days to see if you are worthy of being the White Warrior." Laila explained.
"Whoa, so I'm being tested by the Heaven itself! Talk about pressure." Lincoln said feeling nervous.
"Try not to think about it too much, imagine like you just made a new friend in those schools of yours." Ronnie Anne advised.
"Wow, this is even more surprised then making that ancient ruin glow and getting kissed by Luna Luna." Lincoln blurted out.
"What?!" All the Amazon present in front of him shouted in shock.
"Dang it, I was hoping to keep that a secret for a while." Lincoln muttered to himself with a facepalm.
"Damn it, I was hoping that either Lucy or Leina would be his first kiss since they met him first." Leni stated.
"Well, Luna Luna sure know to make a "Lip impact"." Luan joked causing Lincoln to laugh a little.
"Oh my goodness, you've only been here for quite a little time and you're already making calm to your first woman on the island! I better write that in my report." Laila pulled out a notepad and a pencil writing this stuff down.
"What? No, don't write that down and why do you even need to write things down anyway?" Lincoln asked.
(Present)
"Man, I've only been on this island for a month and few days here, and I feel like something crazy is always going to happen." Lincoln said as she and Laila are walking together through the town.
"I'm glad you aren't being too uncomfortable about suddenly being here." Laila said.
"It was hard to get use to, being away from my family and friends, and missing out on the cool stuff back home even though the Amazon has some pretty cool stuff too." Lincoln looked to a pair of Amazon warriors testing out the new electric spears Lisa made for them.
"In any case, I think I'm adjusting well here." Lincoln believed.
Lincoln suddenly felt his instinct kicking in, alerting him of danger making him quickly turns around to grab an arm and pinning the person down to the ground revealing to be Lucy with a knife he grabbed.
"Good job, Lincoln, you have defended yourself from sneak attacks." Luck said with a small smile.
"Thank you, Lucy. Guess I won't have to worry about you creeping up behind me." Lincoln smirked.
"Oh, do you?" Lucy asked, suddenly appearing right behind Lincoln causing him to scream and jump in surprise and into Laila's arms.
"How do you keep doing that?" Lincoln asked gasping for air.
"It's not something that can be practice, I was simply born with the skills." Lucy bragged in her flat expression.
"I also came to ask if you two would like to come with me to my favorite part of the island." Lucy said.
"Let me guess, it's someplace where it's dark and you want us to be one with the darkness." Lincoln guessed with a confident grin.
"Gasp. How did you know?" Lucy asked surprise.
"Living with you guys have given me some ideas of what you all think these days." Lincoln answered.
"We should inform your maid and guards that you'll be going out of the city for a while." Laila stated.
"I thought you might say that which is why I have already informed and should be on their way here right now." Lucy informed.
"Yo, we're here!" Ronnie Anne called out as she, Carlota, Branwen, and Airi make their way to them.
"Lucy said about going nature walking in the Dark Forest." Branwen said.
"Bet you're excited to see what the island have that you would probably be scared to death." Ronnie Anne teased.
"I've been surviving you guys, being in a dark forest will be a piece of cake." Lincoln proclaimed.
"Just to let you know, the Dark Forest was originally forbidden from entering because there are strange creatures until Lady Lucy went in and came back with a pet bat from the forest." Branwen explained.
"Fang wanted a friend from outside of the cave he was living with his family, been loyal to me since." Lucy said.
"Cool, now I'm more pump up than ever!" Lincoln excited.
"Told you so." Airi nudged her elbow on Ronnie Anne who rolled her eyes.
"Then it's settled, off to the dark forest!" Lucy declared.
(Dark Forest)
Lincoln and the girls are now standing in front of the entrance to the Dark Forest which from their point of view it's very dark on the inside while it's still sunny and bright on the outside.
"Uh, doesn't look so bad." Lincoln commented.
"That's because you haven't seen what's inside yet." Lucy said.
"I'm not so sure if this was such a good idea. Lincoln is still in training and Alleyne haven't put him in the survival training yet." Ronnie Anne pointed out, feeling worried for Lincoln.
"Don't worry, we'll be taking a safe route we know about to avoid any danger creatures." Airi informed.
"Now, let's get on with the dark exploring that might be our last nature walk!" Lucy declared.
"You really like saying things about death, do you?" Lincoln asked, feeling a bit weird about it.
"You've been living with us for over a month now, I thought you would know about now." Lucy booped Lincoln's nose.
"Oh, burn." Ronnie Anne chuckled.
"Are we really going in there?" Laila gulped.
"Don't worry, you can hold my hand for comfort." Lincoln offered, Laila smiles at him and takes the hand.
Everyone walks into the forest seeing that it's almost completely dark like nighttime with only the soft sounds of their feet walking on the ground, and the shaking from the leaves as they passed some bushes.
"Wow, now I'm starting to see why you call this place the dark forest." Lincoln realized as he looks around.
"Yes, the Dark Forest is always like this no matter how much branches you pull down from the trees, they somehow grow back before you know it." Carlota said.
"Because this forest prefers to be all dark like this, and the creatures show high respect for me as well." Lucy stated.
Then they heard something within the dark woods, something loud and roaring like coming far but close by at the same time.
"It sounds like something is happening right now." Lucy said.
"Odd, why do I feel like that roar sounds familiar." Lincoln rubbed his chin.
"Because you should, that was the roar of Red Death." Airi recognized that roar anywhere.
"Red Death?! You mean that big red tiger I met when I first came to this island and almost got eaten!" Lincoln gasped.
"The same and it sounds like he's fighting someone right now." Airi noticed how the sound of his roar goes off.
"We better go see what that is." Lucy said and everyone ran to the source of the noises.
"We're getting closer." Lucy said as the sounds are getting louder.
"Get off of me, you big stupid cat!" A familiar voice shouted.
"Wait, is that…?" Lincoln paused and everyone stop int their tracks.
"Don't supposed you girls have night vision?" Lincoln asked.
"No, but we got light accessories." Carlota said tapping onto her accessories, making them glow up as did the rest.
"These were made by Leni, she thought it would help bright things up." Ronnie Anne said.
"That is so cool!" Laila amazed, almost making her forget about the forest.
"Look!" Lucy pointed at the scene with Red Death and surprisingly, Izumi is here too.
"Izumi, she's in trouble!" Lincoln gasped and charges in to save her.
Izumi got knocked down by Red Death and her sword was sent flying, impaling on a tree as the big red tiger comes closer to her with a glow, she sobs fearing that her death is coming.
Red Death swing his claws at her, but it was stopped by Lincoln and his orange bladed dagger piercing the paw causing Red Death to roar in pain.
Lucy and the other Amazons came in helping to fend off Red Death forcing him to retreat elsewhere.
"Wow, thanks for saving me, Lincoln!" Izumi amazed of Lincoln's action.
"Yeah, you were so brave!" Laila added.
"Thanks, I just wanted to stop Red Death from killing anyone I know." Lincoln chuckled.
"Izumi, why are you here in the Dark Forest?" Lucy asked.
"I wanted to get some night training in by doing it in this forest." Izumi explained.
"Well, you're safe, and you can join us for our dark nature walk." Lucy offered.
"Oh, what fun." Izumi gulped.
