You know, sometimes you've got to ask yourself "Why anything?" so I figured I'd make something dumb. Enjoy!
Meet the Louds
It was Lincoln's turn to clean the ball of Geo the Hamster. More specifically Geo VI, as hamsters tend to not live very long lives, especially in the Loud House. Lincoln walked into Lisa and Lily's room as Geo had just rolled himself in there.
"Come on Geo, you'll only be out for a few minutes!" he called.
Inside the room, Lily was playing with the hamster in a ball. Giggling as she did.
Lincoln smiled as he approached, "Now careful Lily, Geo isn't a toy, he's a pet! You need to treat him with care or else-"
Suddenly, a whirling vortex of supernatural.
Lincoln looked down at the vortex, then up at you the reader, "Yeah, this doesn't look good."
Out from the vortex rose a skeleton in a hooded cloak holding a scythe in one hand and a clipboard in the other, staying silent until fully emerging into the room. The skeleton read from the clipboard, "Let's see...yup, another hamster having its life cut short by one of the Loud children. This time by the toddler Lily. I knew this one was evil." the skeleton put the clipboard away in his cloak and raised his scythe in both hands.
Lily looked up at the skeleton and dropped Geo, "Lily do bad?" she asked.
"Hey, wait!" Lincoln called out.
The skeleton turned around, "Huh? What do ya want, mon? Can't you see I'm busy?"
Lincoln recoiled a bit. Understandably so as he was staring Death in the face, "Are- are you the Grim Reaper?"
"What gave it away? Me bones or me scythe?"
"Uh, Mr. Grim Reaper, can you overlook this? I'm sure Lily didn't mean to hurt Geo."
"Lily sorry." the baby added.
The Reaper groaned, "First of all, Mr. Grim Reaper was me dad. Just call me Grim. Second of all, it doesn't matter whether or not your sister meant to hurt your pet. The laws of nature are absolute and I have to reap the thing's soul."
Upon hearing this, Geo rolled behind Lincoln.
"Can't I bargain for Geo's soul?" Lincoln then asked, "They do that all the time in movies and video games!"
Grim tapped on his jawbone, "Why would ya wanna do that? You should be smart enough to know not to mess with the natural order!"
"Yeah, but I don't want Lily scarred for life knowing she killed one of our pets!"
"Why not? Your sister Lisa wasn't so bothered when she ended the life of Geo V."
Lincoln paused a moment, "So that was Lisa! I knew it!"
Grim then gave a grin, "Tell ya what mon, I'm feeling a bit generous. Why don't we play a game of your choice. If you win, I'll overlook this little accident."
"Really? Wait, what if you win?"
"Well, let's just say there may be a second accident. One that ends with you and your hamster coming with me."
"Well, if it's a game I get to choose-"
"Linky, no!" Lily argued.
Lincoln didn't listen, "It's a deal!"
Grim nodded, "Well, it's your soul, mon, what game do I need to win to get it?"
"Muscle Fish Fighter Five! I've never lost at that game!"
"Funny, me neither!" Grim tapped the floor with his scythe and a gaming system and a TV appeared out of thin air, the game Muscle Fish Fighter Five already booted up.
Lincoln grabbed a controller, "Alright, so, is this going to be best two out of-"
"YOU LOSE!" yelled out the TV as Grim's Muscle Fish quickly beat up Lincoln's.
"Ha! That was easy!" Grim set down his controller and picked up his scythe.
Lincoln backed away, "Wait, wait! Two out of three!"
"A deal's a deal, mon!" Grim prepared to take Lincoln's soul.
Lily and Geo covered their eyes.
"What's going on in here?"
Everyone looked over to the doorway to see Lucy standing there.
"Oh, hey Lucy." Grim greeted.
"Hello Grim." Lucy walked into the room, shutting the door behind her, "I see you're here to take Geo, but what are you doing with my brother?"
Lincoln looked at Grim, then Lucy, "Wait, you two know each other?"
"Yeah, she's president of me fanclub." Grim explained.
Lincoln slapped his forehead, "Of course she is..."
Lucy got in between Grim and Lincoln, "Did Lincoln wager his soul to save Geo's?"
Grim nodded, "For a smart kid, he isn't very bright."
"Well, I can't let you take his soul. Can you call the wager off?"
Grim shook his head, "No can do Lucy. I'm already bending the rules of the universe enough as it is."
"Then how about we make a deal? Double or nothing?"
"Wait Lucy! You don't have to do this for me!" Lincoln told her.
"Yes I do, mom and dad will freak if you ended up going with Grim."
"Now hold on Lucy, your brother wagered his soul and that of your hamster. Even your soul isn't enough to double that."
Lucy took out a piece of paper that read "Lynn's Soul", "I also have Lynn's soul, this should cover it."
"Wait, why do you have that?" Lincoln asked.
"She sold it to me when I was six for five dollars."
Grim took the paper, "Eh, not the best soul but it'll do."
...
Meanwhile, Lynn was at baseball practice. Margo threw the ball at her and it beamed Lynn in the forehead and she fell down back. Margo ran up to her, "Lynn! You didn't even say 'ow'! Are you okay?"
"Oh. Ow." Lynn answered.
...
Grim tucked the paper away, "Well, now we have the opposite problem. Two human souls are worth more than one human and a hamster."
Geo folded his arms after hearing that.
"Do you have anything you can offer to call my wager?" Lucy asked.
Grim smirked, "Okay, how about I be your best friend forever? That ought to cover it."
"Deal."
"This is crazy." Lincoln remarked.
Grim shrugged, "Take that up with the author. Now, what game did you have in mind, Lucy?"
"A staring contest." Lucy answered.
"But Lucy, he doesn't have eyes!" Lincoln told her.
"I know what I'm doing Lincoln."
Grim laughed, "A-ha-ha-ha-ha! Good luck! I'll have ye know that I have never lost a-"
"Pocket sand." Lucy said as she threw sand at Grim's eye sockets.
"AH! ME SOCKETS!" Grim cried out as he looked away to rub the sand out.
"You lose Grim. Hard luck." Lucy told him with a smile.
"But...but you cheated Lucy." Lincoln pointed out.
"Yeah, much like Grim cheated to get your soul, Lincoln."
"Wait, you cheated at Muscle Fish Fighter Five?" Lincoln glared at Grim.
"We never agreed to not use cheat codes, mon!" Grim remarked, still getting sand out, "That was a cheap trick, Lucy Loud!"
Lucy outstretched her hand, "We never agreed to not use sand. Now give me what's mine."
Grim trembled a little, "But...but-"
"A deal's a deal."
Grim handed back the paper that held Lynn's soul, "Fine...could you at least give me some time to pack me things? If I'm going to be your friend I at least want to have some comfort."
"Sure. You can move into the attic."
With that, Grim opened up another whirling vortex of supernatural. He sank into it. Then it was gone.
Lincoln looked at Lucy, "What did you mean by that? Him moving into the attic?"
Lucy shrugged, "Well, he isn't moving into my room. Lynn is already too much company."
