"Thanks for making dinner again, Liddy. The veggie soup was delish~" Silvana complimented the cook.

"Oh, it was my pleasure, Miss Sil. You deserve it." Liddy took her pot and left the dinner table. "Oh! Do I need to do your dishes too?"

"Nah. You can go home now, I'll do them when I feel better."

"…I'll do them right now. Your kitchen has become a mess since your injuries."

"I can't submerge my body in water for a while. I agree. A clean kitchen is a good one. Okay. Make sure my door's closed when you leave. *Yawn* I'm going to bed." On her way to bed she put a stool in front of the sink and lifted Lidelle up ontop of it. "Ow ow! Bad idea."

"Miss Sil!"

"I'm… okay. I forgot you're heavier than you look."

"Yeah, my dress is very heavy." Lidelle turned around to face the dishes.

'It's the dress?' "G'night, Liddy." She patted her on the shoulder. The imp gave a little eep. Before slumped around the corner though. "Oh, um… Liddy?"

"Yes? Can you convince Ammy to talk to me again? She keeps avoiding me at school, hasn't come to work. She looked so scared of me…"

"I'll try. I know you didn't mean it."

"I know. I don't even remember what I said or did…" She did have a vague recollection of slapping her face-first deep in the dirt and calling her 'dirtface' for some reason.

Chapter 62: Teacher's Confession

Sil had put on her pajamas. Posed for the mirror. Slipped into her bed, and hung her mask on the wall behind her. She had cast a cooling spell on the room for the summer. So she could be in pillow and blanket heaven with Arms without sweating them all up. Sil and Arms had gotten very comfy.

*Monkey can't breathe*
"Army~" She snuggled.

*Knock knock!*

"Wha? Did Liddy forget something? I'll wait for a second knock… Don't wanna get out…"

*Knock knock*

"I'm coming." She barely heard. That sounded like Lidelle. Sil would've slapped herself. 'Of course, she wouldn't be done with the dishes that fast. She'd have dry her sleeves as well'

Sil lazily took the mask off the wall. A guest was sure about to enter her room. If it had to be anyone this evening she hoped it was Amitie.

*Knock knock* The door slowly opened. "Miss Sil?" It was Lidelle's voice.

"Yeah?" She wanted to sleep. Just because she can't perform doesn't me she shouldn't upkeep her schedule.

"There's someone here to see you. Please put on your mask."

"Already on. But I'm not moving any more than I have to."

"If that's what you want." Accord spoke. She entered. Lidelle went off doing the dishes again. Silvana's teacher sat down on the mattress, feet on the ground.

"My~" The teach exclaimed. "This mattress is soft." She giggled. "It wasn't this soft last Halloween."
"Hm Hmm." She bought new ones last week.
"How are you, Silvana?"
"Why you asking me again? Haven't skipped school."
"You can never be too sure. Most people in this world never experience turmoil as you have."
"'Snot common 'n mine neither…"
"And that's why all of us scolded you for doing that. No matter how impressive it was."

Sil gave Arms a muzzle.

"Silvana, I have a confession to make." That shot the clown's eyes wide open.

"Really?" She turned to face her teacher and Popoi. "You're gonna tell me a secret?"

"Or we could not."
"What Popoi said if you don't make a make a mountain out of this molehill."

"Ehm. Okay." 'Prof's gonna tell me a secret. Wow!'

"Mice pajamas." Popoi interrupted.

"I really like plaid, okay? Nothing wrong with that!"

"I don't think that was sarcasm from Mr. Popoi."

"Oh." She started twirling a few strands of hair. "Thanks."

"Silvana, I've done recently to you of which I do a little guilty for."

"Nah, it's no biggy. I'm still here and that's great. Dying hurts. What I wanna know how got that piece of dirt."

"We placed an ad. Meow."
"I thought it be fun to teach you kiddies something fun… Apologies. Clearly, it wasn't."

Sil didn't reply.

"I am actually an illusionary myself." Accord said. Popoi laughed. "Admittedly an amateur. But enough to make Popoi as alive as he looks."

"Ah, that's why…" Sil mumbled to herself, looking at Arms. Popoi gave a look that implied: C'mon, you're smarter than that.

"So I needed help. And now what I actually came to confess… Oh, and please be a dear and don't tell anyone please." Accord said knowing another injury could kill Silvana.

"Okay, you have my word, Prof. I know how to keep a secret." She pointed at her mask. Followed by a displeased noise. "Tell me."

Accord breathed in and sighed it out. "One illusion you faced wasn't Mr. Fudoushi's… It was mine."

"So?" Sil simply said. "I'll forgive you. What's one more?… Wait! Why do you wanna kill me?"

Accord bit her lip. "It was supposed to be a helpful illusion. Sort, one meant to clear out some rooms without any harm done to you while giving you a healthy sense of competition."

"Hm… That explains that…" Sil threw off everything on her. Her sheets and pillows shattered through the room. She grabbed Accord by the cravat. "WHAT THE HELL YOU THREW AT THAT ARLE AT ME!"

"Yeah, she scratched up the wrong tree!"
"Forgive me, Ms. Nadja."
"N-NNA…" Silvana let loose. "So you know…"
"And the signs are there."
"Fiddlesticks… Like what?"

"Your voice is similar to Arle. Whenever you get publically affectionate to Sig your voice gets higher and for a second you sound exactly like her, you two are tomboys of similar stripes. You share some mannerisms but mirrored. You have an undying hate for her (Which is why I used her image as a rival). You almost called and sometimes did call yourself Arle. Your fake Doppelganger stories. Your aura gives off the impression that you are five years younger than you look which lead me to think that you had an unnatural birth for an essence holder. Your hair lengths were about the same. You two are just as tall, and you two had the same figure wrapped or not."

"I KNEW IT!" Sil placed her hands on her neck, looked at her hands, looked at her hair, looked at her feet, and grabbed her covered breasts. "I knew my outfit wasn't enough." She choked up as she turned away from her teacher. "But I gained a tolerance for my usual outfit. If I go further to hide myself it'll hurt again. And if it didn't I don't wanna. I wouldn't even know where to begin."

"Silvana…"

"Please, Prof." Said spoke meekly. She still faced away, tightening her mask's elastics. "Please keep my secret. I have so many things I wanna do…"

"Only if you accept my apology with an offering, a gift, and a few favors I shall owe you."

"…This the most benign blackmail I've been a part of. Yes, please." She turned around. Clutching Arms along the way.

Accord smiled. Happy she's open to it. "Now first my offering, "Graduation"."

"Finally…" Sil snarked. Popoi got a kick out of it.

"Yes. I… forgot about it." That's not the truth, don't ask me what it is. "My bad. From what I understand, eleven years ago in your world, Arle entered. She passed. And you were left behind. Am I correct?"

Sil's mask was stoic as she squished Arms flat. *Monkey screams of eternal anguish condensed in a few seconds*

"MEOWCH! PLEASE TAKE THAT AS A YES!" The puppet flapped his arms.

"But you've bested the real Arle."

"Hey, you're right." She smiled. Doppelganger Arle reemerged for a second there. She beat it back down,

"You're the first one to survive that it would seem. And if Arle at kindergarten level passed the exam. I don't see why we can't use this to pretend to graduate you. Gives you more free time, more time to perform. I should be able to to have you graduated in a month. You deserve it. Even if it's just the pretense."

"Sounds good. Can I still be the gym teacher whenever?"

Accord giggled. "Of course. Now, as for my gift to you…" Accord scanned the room. "One moment." The teacher took off the Primp Magic School's signature wing-shaped pin off of the plaid jacket.

"You get to keep this pin as a special souvenir."

"Thanks? I appreciate it." She expected something more. But it's nice to have keepsake regardless.

Accord giggled. You never know what you're gonna get when she does. She turned her to her soon to be ex-student. A flash happened. "Here." Accord tossed it at Silvana, she barely caught it. "I enchanted it. Keep it on your person at all times."

Sil tried to sense it. "Enchanted with what?" She didn't recognize the spell.

"You'll see. But again, keep it near you at all times for good luck. Consider it a token of friendship."

"…Gee… Thanks, Accord."

"You're welcome, Circus Queen. Goodnight." Accord left the room. Popoi waved goodbye at Arms. He finds him endearing.

"Hmm." I don't like that nickname. 'Ammy brags how she thinks she's her scummy girlfriend's Circus Princess and sooner or later I'm widely recognized as the queen… I wanna be the princess… I have to be a bit cutesy on stage… Jester Princess…' She mumbled as she gathered her pillows.

"How will you sleep knowing you spilled so much milk?" Popoi asked his friend.

By ramping up the secrecy until she recovered enough so we can bonk her on the head to make her forget all but the graduation talk, the pin, and the favors.
