The Circus was a Pro-Basketball court for a while. And two weeks later, around Sil's graduation, it'll be a cinema.

On the one hand, Sil liked that people hired her Circus out, gives her the opportunity to learn something. But she misses the socialization of training with everyone every time.

She got fully healed, and could finally exercise again. And here she had to wait. The stagehands still work. But they're just that.

She got her practice in regardless. She's been restarting with the basics. At the moment the handstand.

Circus Square had been quiet, this is an off-day for most. So the sound of a crying girl, crying out "Sis?!" stood out and Sil just had to be there.

"I'm coming, Ammy!" She ran up to her. "Tell Big Sis what happened." Amitie's makeup had been running. And as Sil had learned, Amitie's mom only let Amitie use makeup for special occasions. The dress she'd been wearing as well. Her beanie was oddly enough in the shape of a beret too.

"Weeh. C-C-Can w-we... Waaaaaaaah!" Amitie squeezed Silvana's bones tight.

"Oh, Ammy…" Silvana let Amitie hold her like she would Sig until she slept. It happened so fast, it took now to sink in. "OH!"

Chapter 64: "RAFFINE!"

Raffine heard her name through her window from a bit away. Though Silvana had the desire to solve things as peacefully as possible, she'll no doubt do her worst to her from harshly breaking up with Amitie.

Sil turned her body to a purple mist to bypass the fence and turned back solid to climb and jump to Raffine's room. The window was almost closed at locked into that position. Sil slipped by it again. And turning into mist is a very uncomfortable maneuver for the clown, drains mana like the plaque steals life as well.

"All right, Fielding. I thought you had a soft spot for Ammy! But you break up with her while you told her over and over that you wanna talk about your relationship at the Grey Pachyderm… Only one of the most expensive restaurants in town. And you know it's coin toss if Amitie picks up social cues! And I know you know Amitie is very emotional. And she loved you! She really thought you loved her! And you wrecked her! And what do you have to say for yourself!"

Raffine let out an air grasping wheeze.

Silvana did not expect that. She expected something more… mustache twirly? She slowly stepped closer to the rich girl. "Stay AWWWWAAAAAAY!" She shouted still covered in her sheets.

"Huh. Maybe this situation's more nuanced than I thought. You don't sound too good, Feeny. You sound actually saddened."

"It's kinda weird coming from you…"

"…Or are you a decoy in a pink wig?"
"Hrrrrrrgh!"
"No, it's definitely you. Oh, I get it, your make up is running. Anyway, I want you to go up to Ammy, and make it up to her. You don't have to get back together, I know you don't really like her, but you ma-"
"I do like her."

Raffine said despite that it hurt. She admitted she somewhat liked a girl romantically. Silvana blinked. "Come again?"

"I am not repeating myself."

"…Get real. Really? All this time I thought your love for was about as real as you being French."

"Grrrr! I am French. Comprenez vous? Acte des ordures Sideshow!"

"Yeah, not convinced. Do you love her? Or you not?"

"I don't love her!" She winced. "She's not my type! She's so pure… And she's nice to have around. And cares… She's just… Just… Ju- I'M NOT EXPLAINING MYSELF TO YOU!"

"Y-You really like her?"

"NOT IN THE WAY I LIKE A HUNK!" She had more than two months to learn that. "People have gotten the wrong idea about me for far too long thanks to her!" 'Why am I telling her this?'

'I'm glad love was easy street for me…' "Well, in any case, whether you love her or not. You will apologize. Capiche?"

"Nnnnn… Nnnnnnnohhh… Mmmmmmm." Raffine smashed her mattress. "Nnnnno- I DON'T WANNA!"
"Raffinnnnnnnnnnnnnne…"
"You can't make me!"
"Well… Guess Ammy will live the rest of her life knowing that the CHILD Raffine hates her."
"I AM A LADY!"
"SO ACT LIKE IT!"
"I WILL!"
"APOLOGISE!"
"YE-N- AARRRRGHH!"

… It seemed she broke down. Sil took no pleasure in it.

In fact, she felt a bit guilty

'Doesn't she have servants to hear us and barge in?' "What to do about you?"
Raffine let out a whine she prayed Silvana didn't hear.
"Ammy's a wreck. Not even I can bend myself into a fetal position like it. All you have to do is teach her that unlike everyone else you've dated, that you don't have to end it bad blood. Do you wanna make Ammy feel better?"
"O-Of course."
"Will you apologize?"
"Mmmmmmmm"
"…Prideful poser."
"Hey!"
"Ugh… Okay, it looks like you need my help."
"…like hell I do…"
"Then pretty yourself up ASAP, Feeny. Ammy's crying on my couch. I can bring you there so you can confront her all by yourself and apologize."
"Mmmmnnnnnnnnn"
"That's what I thought… I'll be back. I got a plan, but I need your help. So suck it up. I know a way to make you spit it out. You better write down everything you wanna say to Amitie without making it worse when I'm back. Or at least the bullet points for crying out loud."

Sil pointed. Not that Raffine saw that. Her head was hidden the whole time.

The elder clown sister opened the window. "Keep it open for me." She took a few steps backwards for her running start. She somersaulted out of the window, she made herself floaty, she got quite the distance and speed too from that one jump.

Raffine with her uncouth appearance began writing down what she wanted to say to her Ex-Girlfriend.

*Knock knock* The door to Amitie's room opened. "Sweetie?" Amitie's mom spoke peeking her head. Seeing Amitie lie quietly in the room. Squeezing the cotton out of her wolf in grief.

Amitie barely did anything, she lost her energy, didn't clean her room more so than usual, several plates on the ground. The list goes on.

"There's someone here to see you. Will you let her in?"

"zzzzzzzzz"

The mother sighed. "She's pretending to sleep." She said to the pinkhead. "I'm letting her in!" She faced Raffine once more this time with a stern face. "Please be gentle to my daughter this time. (You did so well the past months.)" She scoffed.

"Y-Yes, M'am." Raffine gulped. She stepped inside and closed the door.

"Hello, Amitie. It's me… Raffine."

"…"

"I've heard from your "sister" that I made you miserable… And I felt bad as well. I did not mean to do that. I didn't mean to break up the way I did."

"…" It was obvious she was listening but she didn't wanna say anything.

"Amitie, let me be straight with you. I've always had a crush on you. Don't tell anyone I said that. Though it's a bit too late for those. You're the exception. And I do value your friendship from time to time. I honestly do. But I stand by that we can't work as a couple. Didn't enjoy myself nearly as much as you did, and everyone knew it."

The blonde wheezed for air.

"I'm perfectly willing to be friends. I want you as my friend. My best friend… My only friend… 'Sides Rulue. I and I'd like us to stay that way The best part, not the only one. Even if you're a clown. And you deserve much better than me. I felt I was actively ruining you…"

"…Raffi…"

Raffine stepped closer towards the bed. Sidestepping the garbage. "Please accept my apology." That made Amitie face her Ex's truly sorry-looking face. Not that many people get to see that side of her and live.

She saw her girlfriend cradling a bouquet of red roses. Amitie giggled at the joke. "Are those for me?"

"Hmmmgh." 'Who else? This won't be missed…' "Yes. They're not real flowers. They're meant as a memento of our… intimate… time together."

Amitie read the tag. "Please forgive me. I'll put them in a pretty face- er… pretty vase. I'll accept your pretty face's apology. I'm so happy for you managed to spit it out."

"Ohoho, La-Ti-Da~" Raffine tossed her hair backwards and closed one eye. "Well, I can do anything whenever I train my body and spirit. I just barely managed it though. Don't expect another."

"That's fine. I've known you long enough to know you have trouble being nice."

'Understatement of the freakin' century…' "So. Friends? Platonic friend. Occasional sparring partner, perhaps?" Raffine's left hand was ready to be shook.

"Eeeeeeehmmm." Amitie hesitated. She looked at her own hands, then back Raffine's hand. "I dunno…" Amitie's hand covered her mouth thinking about.

"Take all the time you need…"
"Um… Raffi? I can I have one final wish?"
"It'll be my pleasure."
"Call me your Princess one more, time. Pretty please?"
"I enjoyed our time, my Princess…"
"Yay!"

Amitie gave Raffine a hug. She looked her right in the eyes.

"One more wish, please?"
"Ammy!"
"Pretty please with sugar on top?"
"Fine!" She tried to say while not letting it show that her patience was thinning. 'It's things like this why the break up happened…'

Amitie took a deep breath.

"Raffi. I want one last romantic kiss on the lips."
"Huh?"
"I'm gonna miss that. I don't know if I'll ever get a girlfriend again. Or a boyfriend for that matter…"
"What? Don't be ridiculous, Ammy! You can find another, they won't be as prett- You can find someone else to mutally to love. Just make sure you do better than me."
"I don't know… Just kiss me, Raffi. Pleeeeeaaaaaase?" Her hands were clasped together.

"…" Raffine bit her lip. She swallowed her doubt. She went for it.

"Thank you~" Amitie thanked as she wiped her tears. She grabbed her Ex's hand with both of hers' and shook them firmly. "We're friends now." She gave a trusting bubbly smile. "No matter how much Sil will hate you for it. I'll keep protecting you from her." And Raffine smiled back. "I'll look for other fish in the pond."

And then out of nowhere Amitie started tearing up again and hug tackled her Ex to the ground. "Sil! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!~"

"Wha!? You knew?! And you kissed me knowing it's me, your sister, by blood or not, anyway?" Sil rubbed her lips. Speaking in her normal voice.

"How could I not? You went through all this effort to fool me. And you had me fooled for a bit. You look exactly like her now."

"Fufufu~ Heh. And you know what's crazy? I'm not even entranced this time. This (f)act is killing me so far. Just so you can feel better. (I need to wash my lips with soap.)"

"Oh, you're the best sister ever. You tried to make me feel better by making me think Raffine actually cared about me…" Amitie shook her head to get the sadness off her mind, she just gets rid of it. "And I do feel so much better~ Even knowing if Raf… You know..."

"Oh, yeah, she's heartless. I confronted her. She would not do it. Can you close the window Ammy? Fufufu~" Silvafine politely asked.

"Uh, sure? It'll get hot in here though…"

"Oh, don't you dare, Amitie!" Raffine roared hanging from the window.

"Raffi!? You heard everything?" Amitie, putting any relation they've had aside and helped the real Raffine up into the room.

"Yes, I did."

"But…"

"Oh, La-Ti-Da." Silvafine laughed, mimicking Raffine once again. "Let us spare us a hassle." She pulled and unfolded a piece of paper. She handed it over to Amitie.

"This is your handwriting." She faced her Ex. Reading it more, it was basically what Silvana said and more.

"Feeny was too much a chicken to do it herself. You're welcome."

Raffine let the chicken thing slide for now. "And I do mean it. Can we spar on Wednesday? I still need to learn hit to someone as nimble as you've gotten. Or w can go out shopping as friends?" Raffine's haughty high-class dialect wavered. It became closer to the Pierrot sisters.

"Sure." Amitie smiled before she gave her her last real romantic kiss.

Amitie's parents sure were confused by the two Raffines as they left.

"Bye, Ammy! Don't pick the first guy or gal you see, Princess!" Sil teased a bit with that last one.

"I'll try! Bye, guys!"

The twins left the house.

"There, you have your friendship. I feel humiliated. I wanna wear this for the rest of the day. At least. You can wear my clothes whenever you want."
"Never. I'd rather die."
"Well certainly don't do me a favor in return." She joked.
"Trust me I won't. I'm still not over that black eye you gave me."
"C'mon. I helped you out to help someone we both care about."
"You did."
"So what do you say?"
"Quit being cute while impersonating me."
"Tut tut tut. Where did you learn your manners, young lady?"
"Grrr…"
"When somebody helps you, you'll be grateful and a say:"
"Screw you."
"…Screw you. I was gonna say if you ever find yourself genuinely attracted Amitie… Screw you. Your running makeup has dried!"
"Hm? $#!%"

Raffine ran for a restroom to fix it.

"Oh, La-Ti-Da~ She didn't say no to me wearing this for the rest of the day." She posed like Raffine. "I'm back here again. And once again I'm enjoying this way too much." Silvafine strutted to town, for some Raffining. Doing things Silvana wouldn't be caught doing because of Pierrot and her shame. She's gonna live a little.

"Ugh. I hope I never get heartbroken. Pretending to be the heartbreaker is too much for me already…" She rubbed her lips. They're the fake lips of the Raffine mask, but it still doesn't make it any less gross to her.

She took a quick detour home to fix her own makeup.

"I haven't been this involved in this much same-sex stuff since I was hired to perform at that wedding. Romance is so different than the novels describe it. It's..." Sil found herself a bit scared all of a sudden. "W-Will Sig get that into me? W-Will I-I? Will our relation get as serious as it did on Ammy's side? M-Maybe I-I sh-sh-should… Ah! I definitely don't want to experience a breakup. I'm too fragile, I need him! Oh! No crying, I just applied makeup."

"Fragile… Yeah, that does describe me I guess. How did I get to this point? I need to take my mind off of this…"

And what better way than to pretend that you're Raffine? "What can I do that's fun? Besides doing stuff I wouldn't be caught doing? Oh~" She spotted someone familiar. She had an awful idea and couldn't help herself. "You there!" She said in a domineering tone, one which lets you know she's better than you.

"Hm? Oh. Raffine… What happened about our agreement when we see each other on the streets?" Silvana stepped towards the dark mage to be. Grabbed his face, making the boy make a scared face as his glasses fog up.

Sil gave him an innocent kiss on the lips.

Klug was confused. Right after the general "wh-why" the innocent part of that kiss from Raffine made no sense to him.

Sil cracked up. "Pfffffffffft. The look on your face." She smirked in her own voice.

"What?"

Sil winked and stuck out her tongue. She felt a little bad toying with Klug, but not much. She left for some more fun before the doppelganger realignment pains get the better of her.

A few days later, a box came into a mail. It was addressed as "Silvana Pierrot" and not "Pierrot" so it wasn't anything she ordered for the circus. It was a small box. She carefully opened it.

There was a letter inside, and it was made entirely of pasted newspaper letters.

Mask canceled. Won't happen. This better suffice! Deluxe. They do not come much more durable than this. Thought you like that. You do more flips than I. Even had your ugly mask engraved on it. Do with it what you want. Paint your ugly mask on your ugly face for all I care.

Don't dare tell,

Anonymous.

"Wow. So this is how she shows gratefulness?" Sil opened the box, and a small circle with her mask faced her sideways. She turned it. She opened it, there was a mirror inside. It was a powder compact.

Author's Notes:
Have fun thinking up what Raffine actually thought.

Cut: Raffine giving Sil money to anonymously give Amitie money. Sil gets angry that after all of that Raffine would bribe Amitie back. Raffine just wanted Amitie to buy herself something nice to distract.

Right now: A Mini-Chapter. Don't expect them to come announced next time.
