Kyouya had known since he was young that his father would arrange a political marriage for him. It wasn't until the moment came that he truly understood the implications. To maintain peace and harmony (and most importantly—profit) between the two families Kyouya would have to sever all ties with the host club. He'd also have to end his dalliance with Tamaki.

They had known since the moment they'd kissed that they were doomed to end. Still, just thinking about his life without the blonde hurt Kyouya in a way he'd never imagined. It felt as if someone—namely his father, was ripping out his heart and stomping on it.

It was then that Kyouya made a life-altering decision. As his father was rattling off the engagement details—Kyouya turned and walked out. Once outside he began to run until he burst through the doors to his chambers. The inside of his room was warm and inviting, much like the blonde sitting on his bed.

"Nothing will ever be the same." Kyouya warned him while inking into his arms.

"That's alright, mon Cher. We're just moving forward."
