Warwick Academy, the crème de la crème of academia and the finest primary and secondary school in all of Britain. The halls are bustling with life as students fill the halls going to and from classes, furthering their education with varying degrees of diligence. That afternoon, a strange man with terribly done bleached blonde hair walked through the front gate and into the building, wearing a loud shirt with his suit. A few teachers recognised him and hid in their classrooms as he made his way to the office. Once there, he put his hands on the secretary's desk and leaned forward with a big, toothy smile.

"Hello. I'm here to find three students." he said.

"What are their names and your relation to them?" questioned the secretary.

"I don't know, and none." David replied. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a piece of paper and unfolded it before holding it up to the secretary's view, all while never breaking eye-contact. "They were hanging these posters around town. According to people who saw them, they were wearing uniforms from this school. There were two girls- one blonde, one brunette, and a boy with really red hair. Ring any bells?"

"I cannot divulge information about our students to non-family, faculty, or law enforcement."

"Yes you will. Tell me."

In an instant, the secretary felt a bizarre, yet unshakable compulsion to do as this man said. For a moment, she thought before nodding. "There are three students who match that description and came in here, asking if they can put up fliers like that one around the school."

"Tell me their names and show me any information you have on them." David instructed, and the secretary stood up and walked over to a filing cabinet.

"Revy Macken, Geraldine Midford, and Samantha Westley." they said while digging inside. It was only mere moments before David was given the files and had them open on the desk. He was taking pictures of each page with his phone and looking over them as he went.

One girl was a total brainac who took advanced classes, while the boy seemed to be somewhat of a slacker who likes to talk back to teachers. How those two were friends was completely beyond Skullface, but that wasn't really important. The other girl was more average, but unlike the others, was in a club. She fenced and like the boy, seemed to have a bit of a mouth on her. Unlike him, however, there was no record of her ever receiving any kind of disciplinary action, while Revy had at least two detentions. Either way, it seemed odd. Their parents must be someone important, if the school can't touch them. Belmont could probably get some ransom money out of them.

"Tell me what their parents do." the man instructed while continuing to take pictures.

"Samantha's father was a politician before he died, but now she's living with her older brother off of their inheritance." the secretary said. Shame. He might not get much out of her. "Geraldine's father is a high-ranking military official, and Revy's older brother married into the Phantomhive family, who runs FUNTOM Toys."

"Phantomhive?" parroted Skullface. Looking again at the lad's address, it did indeed look familiar. "Tell me more."

"His older brother is an alumni of the school along with one of the younger Phantomhive children." In reality, there are no other Phantomhives apart from Ciel, but such is the lie that the school was fed. The secretary did not know this, however. This was the "truth" as far as she knew. "They married soon after graduating, I hear."

"Do they come down to the school often? Tell me."

"No, not anymore. With Geraldine, not at all, but that probably has to do with them being kin to the Phantomhives."

"Why?"

"I'm not sure." the secretary answered. "They were very good at paying for any accidental damages, and make donations to the school, so that must be part of it. The headmaster lets things slide with them."

"I see..." spoke David while putting his phone away. "Call those three kids to the office right now." When the woman behind the desk didn't move, he arched an eyebrow. "Well?"

"They're on the list of absences today." she replied. "They aren't here, so I can't do that."

"I see..." With that, the man gathered up the files and stacked them neatly on the desk. "Forget I was here." As soon as he shut the door behind him, the secretary blinked and looked down at her desk.

"What are all of these doing here?" she asked herself before picking up the stack of files and beginning to put them back. While she was doing that, David Belmont decided that he was going to pay these three children a visit.

Samantha's flat seemed to be the easiest to get to, so he went to the Westley's apartment first. Casually, he walked up to the door and knocked on it. He was gentle at first, but when he received no answer, he knocked a little more aggressively. Nothing.

"Hello?" he called. "Mister Westley? Are you there?" He asked for Daniel, thinking it might sound odd to hear a grown man calling for his little sister. Once the door was open, he could ask Daniel to give him his sister without any problems. That is, if he was able to get someone's attention.

"Open the door!" he ordered, but still, there was no answer. No one was home. More than likely, the brother was at work, but where did that leave the girl? Was it possible that she had an appointment somewhere? Or was she the type to skip with her apparently delinquent friends?

Without any leads, he walked away, digging his phone out of his pocket. Unbeknownst to him, HELLSING was already tracking it. His calls were recorded and his whereabouts were known, ever since his identity was uncovered. The trick was catching him in a location where they could dispatch him without innocent bystanders being brought into the mix. In a city like London, however, that was trickier than one would like it to be.

"How are things on your end?" he asked his underling on the other end. "Anybody home at Midford's place?"

"There's nobody here." the underling replied. "Haven't heard anything from the group who went to Phantomhive's either."

"I'll call them. You go back to the base." David instructed. While his powers did not work through cell phones, there were people who actually believed in his cause. They were other psychics who believed in a world of psychics, for psychics, by psychics.

Regular humans didn't understand them. How could they? They did not have the gifts of psychics. Their senses were deadened and their strength was nonexistent in comparison! How can such similar species walk the same earth and be so different? How can the same beings call themselves "men?" The days of these inferior humans were numbered, as evolution took its course, creating stronger, better humans that made the current dominant species look like mere beasts. Yet, even this noble race of human beings had obstacles. The same obstacles befell their predecessors, but unlike them, psychics had the abilities to overcome them.

Even with their lack of grace, all humans have the drive to be on top. It is an innate desire that every man has to kill and kill until they are the top of the food chain. Prey or predator, no other species can block the noble and righteous path of humanity! Humans will even kill others of their kind for mere sport! They fantasize about killing their enemies and some do. Some wage war upon other men as their chosen method to fulfill their lust for blood, reaching levels of destruction that are so great, that they cause the heavens to shake. Because they are capable of doing so, humans are the closest thing to gods there are in this world. Yet, they too have an expiration date, leaving new gods to take their rightful place as kings!

Yet, in this mad grab for power, humanity's foes reveal themselves in the form of monsters as they, too, wish to reach the top of the hierarchal order of this world. There's no way humans would allow that. There's no way that David Belmont would allow that! Monsters will stay below man with the rest of the beasts. He will make sure of that.

That is the world that they seek. They will not be "strange," but also they will have power above all others. Truly, psychics were the superior humans and the "old" humans needed to step aside or risk being removed. This is the world that they were told of and this is the world David Belmont would lead them to. He, too, truly believed in this path of divinity that he has seen and would stop at nothing until he reached the end.

Thus, he needed to accumulate the wealth necessary to achieve his goals. Unfortunately, he reached an obstacle far earlier on than he would like. It didn't matter. He was certain that he would succeed. All he needed was to talk to the head of FUNTOM and he'd have all the money he could possibly require.

Stepping out of the elevator, David pulled out his phone and called the flunkies that he sent to the Phantomhive Estate. It took a few moments to ring, allowing him to get to his car.

"Hello?" greeted the voice that picked up.

"How are things going on your end?" Skullface inquired. "Did you see Phantomhive?"

"He invited us in when we said we were with Belmont, actually."

"And?"

"Well, he talked like he wanted to have a meeting." the underling said. "In his office in the Funtom building this Thursday."

Delighted, David smiled. "That's perfect!" he answered. "That's even better than those kids! We'll be going. After this, our plans will be full swing."

"I look forward to it." Sebastian replied on the other end. With that, both parties hung up, leaving the butler of Phantomhive to drop the phone in the bloodstained grass on the Phantomhive lawn. Stepping over several rather grotesque bodies with bulging veins and brutal injuries, Sebastian collected his silverware, shaking off some of the excess blood as he went.

A/N: Hello, hello. I'm sorry this took so long, but I was taking a bit of a break. I don't know what the updating schedule is going to be like for the next few weeks, as summer classes start Monday. I'll have a good portion of the day to dedicate to writing still, but will I actually do it? Who knows. I might be tired enough that I just want to sit. I'm only human. I hope you'll forgive me.

I feel like I might have revealed too much in this chapter, but I wanted to at least introduce the ideas that we're dealing with, here. It's not an entirely unique perspective on life, really. Same shit, but with supernatural nonsense and psychic shit added to the mix. It's actually based in evolutionary psychology, which is sort of rubbish, to be entirely frank. That's where I got the whole idea.

There's more to this whole deal, but this is a big part of it. Remember that "Man or monster?" stuff from DLTD? There's going to be some opposition to that philosophy, if I pull this off. Hopefully, everything goes well.

Until the next chapter, my duckies~!
