Daniel got out of the house slightly earlier than usual so he could drop off his paperwork before he went into the office that morning. When he reached the office of Mister Grey, he kind of second-guessed everything. The incubus had a large, professionally made sign that advertised the business on the front of the building, but beside the door was a much smaller one that was simply printed out and taped up.

"This building is not a brothel. Any and all attempts to solicit will be reported to the police." it said.

"How often do people ask?" Daniel wondered. Then again, he recalled that at their meeting, Mister Grey said he had trouble with new supernaturals that were formerly human. Perhaps that was it? He didn't know and he didn't really feel comfortable asking. In fact, he didn't know if he was comfortable being see walking into this building at all, but from what he knew about incubi and succubi, if anyone could help him out with his problem, it would be them.

Mustering up his courage and squashing down his embarrassment, Daniel made his way up to the building on sixty-nine Medicine Street. It looked like an ordinary two-story residential building turned into a business. It was two businesses, really. The local doctor's office and pharmacy was on the ground floor, while Falchion's office and apartment was on the second. There was a door that led to the upstairs area from the outside, so he didn't need to go through the doctor's office and ask. Thus, he simply opened the door and stepped inside.

Up the stairs, on the left was the waiting area. Daniel came early enough that no one was there. There was no one at the check-in desk, either. It must be hard doing this job all on his own, but it needed to be done, so Falchion was going to have to fill both positions of therapist and secretary until Daniel filled the position with somebody. There was another sign on the desk that said to take a seat if the therapist was with a patient, but Daniel didn't have to wait since the other man had heard him.

"Hello!" greeted the therapist, peeking his head out of the therapy room. When he stepped further into view, Daniel could see that he was still dressed like some sort of stuffy professor-type. "Oh! Mister Westley! It's good to see you. I see you have some paperwork for me?"

"Uh, yeah. I just came to drop it off." answered the human, holding up the envelope. He didn't dare cross the room for some reason. It was like there was an invisible barrier by the front desk, prompting Falchion to close the distance, instead.

"Alright, I'll have this looked over within the next couple of days." Mister Grey answered, taking the envelope from the other and peeking inside. "Would you like to set up an appointment today?"

"Uh, sure." Daniel replied, prompting the other to set the envelope down on the desk so that he could press a few buttons on the computer.

Computers were not common in Gehenna and internet was even more restricted due to concerns that social media may be used to reveal the secrets of the town's existence. All of the businesses on Medicine Street had them, however, for the sake of making it easier to make appointments. Even though Falchion was not technically a "doctor", he provided a needed service. Perhaps it was even one that was needed in the human world as well, given how the man stated that quite a lot of his patients were former humans. In this case, he had a rare, fully human patient.

"Do you have any specific days or times that you're available to come in?"

"Uhhh..." Daniel furrowed his brow as he thought. "About how long to these appointments last?"

"Oh, an hour, hour and a half, maybe?"

"So I won't be able to do it over lunch break… And I have to pick up Samantha after her school lets out… I guess I could ask somebody to do that..."

"You can call in or come in to set up an appointment after you've got that settled, if you like." suggested Falchion without even the slightest hint of annoyance.

"I'll have called somebody by this afternoon, so I can stop by on my way back to set up an appointment."

"That's perfectly fine. I'll see you then?"

"Yeah. I'll be here."

With that, Daniel let himself out with a polite wave before making his way back to his car. He then drove the rest of the way to work as he thought about who he could possibly call that wasn't otherwise busy to pick up Samantha from school. Ciel was busy with taking care of Alois, Alois was out of commission, and Kristopherson had a job he needed to be at. Audrey also had work and Daniel wasn't sure if he could get away from it. That left Travis, but Samantha didn't really know him that well, so she wasn't sure if that was a good idea. Daniel didn't even know if she knew his face. The girl was smart enough to try and avoid as much "stranger danger" as possible, so that might not work out. Thus, with his friends exhausted, he had to think elsewhere. Perhaps he could ask Sir Midford to let Samantha go home with Geraldine while he was at his appointment. Come to think of it, Sebastian was the one who picked up Revy, so the Phantomhives might work out after all. Yes! It was great to be on good terms with the guardians of his dependent's compatriots!

He would have to call during his lunch break, which worked out fine. In the meantime, all he had to do was linger on the fact that a practical stranger knew everything about him when it comes to his sexual history and interests. Fantastic. The more that thought sank in, the greener about the gills he became. As he walked into the office, he looked as though he desperately needed to take a sick day off.

"Morning, Daniel!" Said the man behind the front desk, John Ravenscroft. Good God. Why did Daniel have to see him immediately after? That was just cruel. In Daniel's humble opinion, Mister Ravenscroft was the most attractive person at work. At this point, the universe was mocking him.

"Morning, John. Morning, Helen." the Westley greeted to both people at the station.

"Already signed you in." John replied, before pausing to arch an eyebrow. "Are you okay? You look a little..."

"I'm fine." Daniel abruptly stated while trying to think of a good fib. "I'm not feeling too great today. I almost hit a dog." It was nice work. That was perhaps his best white lie as of yet!

"Oh! Are you alright? Was it out in London?" the warlock asked, leaning forward on his elbows.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit shaken, y'know?" continued the Westley while walking away. "Woman let go of her leash or something. Her poodle almost ran straight into the car! It missed, though, so everything's fine."

Before either of the two manning the front desk could reply, he had managed to slink away and shut the door to his office. Putting his back to it, he sighed, closing his eyes momentarily before wandering toward his desk and going through the motions of getting things prepped for the day. Plopping down in his seat, he ran through his schedule, adding in when he should call around to ask about Samantha. Then, he could quickly run by Falchion's office and take a few minutes to make an appointment before going to Samantha's school to pick her up. He wouldn't even be late. With everything checking out okay, he leaned back in his chair and waited on his first appointment.

"Just a normal day of being a responsible adult..." he mumbled. "Making appointments, picking up kids, it's all there..."

A/N: Daniel has his shit together pretty damn well? It's amazing. Remember when he was the immature one? Growing up sure is a weird thing.

I can't even imagine how awkward it must be to have to talk to Falchion, though. The guy is extensive in putting together a profile of his patients. Perfectly professional and trustworthy, but it's kind of hard to talk about that stuff in general, isn't it? Don't worry, the guy has NO ulterior motives. He's an incubus, so he's pretty strict...

Thinking about that stuff made me think about old character shet questions, though. Like, while I was thinking about the sort of things he would ask? Y'all wanted to know EVERYTHING about these guys. In honour of this, feel free to ask any sexual questions you may have for the characters.

Come to think of it... "Is Logan into furries" was a conversation on Tumblr because of Kristopherson... Does it really count if he's a supernatural being as well? The guy is blue and has horns and a tail. That kind of shit is normal where he's from, so is it at all unusual? We called this "Schrodinger's furry" because who the fuck knows?

And yes, Falchion's address is in fact "69 Medicine Street". On top of that, "Falchion" is a type of sword. I think he actually made the joke about phallic imagery in the first chapter he showed up in, though... I might have cut it, though? I don't even know. I only glanced over it before writing this.

There's all kinds of dirty shit in here the nobody is even CONSIDERING.

Until the next chapter, my duckies~!
