AN:
Hee HO! I'm back baby! That last chapter is going to be hard to top in terms of intensity. I'm proud of how good it turned out. This chapter will iron out the beginnings of many confidants. Mind you, this will not be all of them, but a good starting point at least. This chapter will start out with the crew waking up from their control. I hope you enjoy and as always love the feedback, it helps so much!
WARNING: dramatic violence, gore, language, mention/act of rape, sexual situations, ect. If you are sensitive to any of these things look elsewhere. The Dark Knight deserves a dark story.
Yukid999:Do you mean Mark Millar? Of Logan and Kickass fame? If so you honor me friend. Comparin' me to Mark Millar. You're going to make me blush. Also yes I am very edgy. Can confirm. I can be ur angle or yuor devil.
Calderoneric758: I believe there was a miscommunication. It's like Satanael is in NG+. You know how they shrink him down and it's kinda cool but kinda sucks at the same time. It's like that. He has to regain his power. To do that Akira must have the masses believe in his team. Remember no one really believes in them quite yet. Also yes I am considering adding Messiah to the rooster.
Guest: I know, I'm trying to line break but it keeps disappearing when I publish. I'll try something new this round. I'm glad you enjoy the story otherwise though.
Guest: A universe arcana huh? Sounds interesting. The power that starts it all and ends it all huh? I might have to add in something like that later on. I haven't heard of anything quite like that's in the DC universe either.
Guest: The leveling in mementos will be a thing for lesser villains. Though I doubt Ra's al Ghul will be immune to thieving. He has no knowledge of what the PTs do. It's like Shido, conviction is meaningless against a change of heart.
Naomi Watson: I'm glad you enjoyed Ryuji's fight. The JL will indeed pressure Batman to have them assist soon enough.
Blazblade: Bat-mite is indeed an idiot. Maybe Bat-mite will kill off the confidants by the time they're powerful enough to defeat them. Maybe not...but you better believe Batman will be on their side when he does find out. Are you kidding me? Akira will have the power to defeat him in the end. No worries...I don't make a fireplace to not light it ablaze
Enjoy!
EDIT: Hi to all new readers. Or rereaders...or rerereaders...love you all the same. X3

"...aki….akira...AKIRA WAKE UP!" Makoto slapped the boy awake, Akira shot up and found himself back at the cafe. He put a hand over his eyes and tried to get rid of the headache that was overtaking him.
"Welcome back Joker. Seems we all were under control over the runt." growled out Akechi.
"*Groan* I'm sorry everyone, I tried to fight it as best I could. He defeated me without even breaking a sweat." Akira said, somberly.
"Don't blame yourself Senpai. We all were under the spell for a while." Sumire sighed.
"I'm just glad he set us free. Who knows what he could have done with us if he hadn't decided to let go." Haru sighed.
"You guys are lucky I found you. He just left you in the rain outside of the cafe. Son of a bitch...hey, it's ok Futaba. He's gone now. He can't hurt you." Sojiro hugged his distraught daughter closer. She sobbed against his chest, gripping his shirt.
"Don't tell her such lies. I never thought I myself would be the victim of a mental shutdown. He'll pay with his life for controlling me." Akechi said darkly.
"*Sigh* For now- for now let's focus on the mission. How is our progress?" Makoto sighed.
"Futaba managed to acquire a lot on Queen. It wasn't anything damning though. I doubt we would have to worry about him being drowned in corruption. Though I worry he's hiding something under it all. That could be because I've been jaded though." Haru said.
"Yeah, I don't suspect anything from him either. At least for now. The Clocktower is impenetrable, I looked for hours but could find a way in without being detected." Morgana said.
"Just keep trying Morgana, there has to be something. With Bat-mite's demands we only have one option regarding Batman. We have to bring him down." Akira said.
"But Senpai…" Sumire cried, only to be interrupted by Akira.
"I'm sorry Sumire. He made it abundantly clear. When I insisted...Ohya...Lala, Karou, and Iwai...they are all dead. I saw him do the same as he did to Mishima. That's five friends he has killed because of me. I can't let him take anyone else! I won't let him." Akira said resolutely.
"So where does that put us. I didn't want his help anyway." Akechi said.
"It was supposed to be a sign of good will. A way of showing the Phantom Thieves are not corrupt. He will view us as targets now." Makoto said.
"It means...We are enemies." Akira said to the room. They were all shocked to hear it.
"For real?" Ryuji asked.
"You should have heard him have a tantrum about what he wanted. He wants us to fight and he wants us to lose. He said it himself. I will not be a pawn in a fixed game. Never again." Akira gritted out.
"I agree wholeheartedly. You all should have seen this coming anyway. I doubted all this planning was for us to just hold hands." Akechi said.
"We had to at least try...Batman is clearly on the side of good. Didn't you hear how he swore to defeat Bat-mite and free us. Barely even knowing our own intentions." Sumire cried.
"I have my grievances with him but it is a shame. He would have made a great ally. Those moves of his were incredible. We could barely defeat him with his hands tied behind his back." Makoto said.
"Be that as it may. It's clear what we must do. If we are to ever be free of the demon that has control over us. We must defeat Batman." Akira said.
The room was filled with silence at the statement. It would be a very hard task.
"*hic* He-he has eyes everywhere. He was the first to know about the heists on Queen and Wayne. Akira did you see him at Ace?" Futaba asked, wiping away her tears.
"No. He must not be too worried about them. They only had a few accidents years ago. I've been meaning to give you the files. They're encrypted, I need you to see what you can dig up with them." Akira said.
"Hm. You can count on me. By the way, Wayne didn't really have anything of note either. If his files are to be believed of course." Futaba said.
"Something about him rubs me the wrong way. I have lied my entire life, I can tell when someone's trying to hide something big." Akechi said.
"By the way, I've managed to find a reporter. He looks desperate and could serve our means well. I have yet to make a deal though." Akechi added.
"Good. Recruit him if possible. See what you can find on Sionis and Wayne. How's the infiltration on Sionis by the way?" Akira asked.
"Not good. Something's got to give soon. We're nearing a new month, and I don't want to anger Bat-mite further until I know we can beat him." Akechi answered.
"Joey said he had something for me as well before I was interrupted. I'll have to check in on him again." Ryuji said.
"Just make sure not to draw too much attention to yourself. I've heard Batman doesn't take kindly to thugs beating up his little flock. You and Makoto should be extra careful." Akechi said.
"Noted," Makoto said.
"I have rather troubling news as well. It seems I'm in debt to an art thief. She bears an outfit that strikes remblance to Ann's. Should we try to recruit her as well?" Yusuke asked.
"You speak of Catwoman? I heard rumors of her being rather conniving. Though I suppose that could help us? She has an interest in all things shiny. Perhaps a regular exchange of treasure will win over her allegiance." Akechi said.
"Couldn't hurt. Plus I like the idea of having another Lady Ann on our team." Morgana smiled.
"You would ya suckup." Ryuji said.
"You wanna go punk? I'm not as easy to defeat as Robin you know." Morgana challenged.
"In any case be careful with her Joker. I heard she switches sides frequently, she allows fights alongside Batman from time to time. Rumor has it they are lovers." Akechi said.
"It's a risk we have to take. She may be our way in with the Knight. Do you have a way to contact her?" Akira asked Yusuke.
"Yes. We are scheduled to meet tonight. I made a deal to repay her for a work she planned to steal. We might have to bring cash for her to be appeased." Yusuke said.
"Ok, I'll pull a good amount aside. A deal she can't refuse." Akira smirked.
"We managed to find a suitable place to set up shop in the Amusement Mile. It should house five of us. It'll be tight, but it will do until we find another place."
"Good work everyone. We have a lot to do tomorrow. Get some sleep if you can. I know tonight was rather hard on us all." Akira finished the meeting and they all went to a rather restless slumber.
White Rabbit followed the group until they arrived at the small cafe. She smiled as they transformed into clothing that fit a more young group. Bingo.
That fight with Batman was quite a sight to behold. If not the Phantom Thieves, she still would have curiosity of joining. She made her leave to prepare for her plan. She would repay her debt, one way or another.

April 29th Morning
Cloudy
Chinatown, Cafe Leblanc
Sojiro stirred some curry for the kids. It was pretty late in the morning, so he decided to go ahead and open up shop. Most of them were still asleep upstairs due to the night before. Haru and Akira were the only ones down stairs. Otherwise, the shop was it's usual quiet self.
The shop's bell chimed as an indian woman walked in. She took in the atmosphere of the cafe. As if sizing it up.
"Good day ma'am! What can I get for you?" Haru asked.
"What would you recommend?" The woman asked, smiling.
"Ah well. Most people just ask for plain coffee. But our house blend is our most superior item. We also have curry cooking, would you like some along with that?" Haru asked.
"Curry? With coffee?" the woman asked.
"You'd be surprised how many people ask that. I assure you it is to die for!" Haru said.
"You really need to chill out on that business streak Haru. You're freaking me out." Sojiro sweated.
"Ah no it's fine. I'll take your suggestion." The woman said.
"Mmhm! Good choice. See Sakura-san? A little courtesy puts you ahead of the curve!" Haru pointed at Sojiro.
"Yeah, yeah. Sheesh, I should just give you run of the place." Sojiro said, rubbing his neck.
"You are new to Gotham yes? I haven't seen any of you round here since a few weeks ago." the woman asked.
"Oh, you get around a lot here?" Sojiro asked.
"In a manner of speaking yes." The women answered.
"Yeah, we just moved here a month ago. Me and the kids." Sojiro said.
"You're kids? Oh, are you an adoptive father of sorts. So many are on the streets begging." The woman prodded.
"Yeah, these kids more take care of me though." Sojiro joked.
"*giggle* I bet they do. My… it's like I'm back in India. This tastes just like how my grandmother used to make it." She said.
"Thanks. I work hard to perfect the recipe. Don't go asking about it though or I'll think you're competition.
Jaina pretended to giggle again. This man was a womanizer it seemed. She looked at the two children that helped him in the kitchen. This was definitely a hideout of sorts for the group she saw last night. She smirked as she memorized all of their names.
Akechi walked down the steps. He was exhausted from last night's battle. But he must push through it in order to get through the day.
"Morning Akechi. Here's your breakfast. I take it you're not eating in?" Sojiro asked.
Akechi saw the customer and put on his act.
"No. Sorry Sakura-san, I must be going. Thank you for the food." Akechi quickly made his way out of the cafe.
Jaina saw this boy. Looked right into his eyes. That color...She saw the same brownish red on that knight under control. She had found the Knight that interrogated her. She sipped her coffee as she let him leave the building. That was all she needed to confirm it, but as if on queue, Ann walked down the stairs.
"Ready for the day! Breakfast ready?" Ann said as she went downstairs.
"I'll never understand how you manage to look so good 24/7 Ann-chan. Here's your bowl." Haru said, jealously.
"I don't know, just genetics I guess." Ann said as she wolfed down her food.
Jaina got up. She was finished with her curry and paid for another cup of coffee. This was indeed the group she had followed.
"Thank you so much, it was delicious. I'm definitely coming back for more. See you around." Jaina left the cafe, her plan set on tonight. She will make up her debt. What kind of professional would she be if she didn't.
"Sheesh, just what I need. Another talker." Sojiro sighed.
"Sakura-san you promised." Haru chided.
"No one's in here Haru. I can speak as I please." Sojiro said.
Just as he said that another customer came in. Sojiro sighed in defeat, Haru elbowed him in the stomach.
"Welcome! What can I get for you?" Haru asked.
"Akira save me. Your sister is running me up a wall." Sojiro said.
"Heh, kids never change huh? Even when they grow up." the man said as he sat down.
"Sorry about that. What will it be?" Sojiro asked.
"Something fancy. This is the closest thing to a vacation I've had in months." The man groaned.
"Um, excuse me but aren't you Commissioner Gordon? I saw you on the TV a couple of times." Haru asked.
"Yeah I guess I'm famous. No business talk during my vacation though, ya hear?" Jim asked politely.
"This guy is more my speed. You mind if I smoke? Kids will never let me with customers inside." Sojiro asked.
"Only if you light mine. And promise not to tell the wife." Jim answered. Sojiro lit his and Gordon's cigarettes. The two sharing the bond of grumpy old men.
"This is spooky. I'm out of here. I need to get a start on the move anyway." Ann sweated.
"Be safe out there Ann. I'm noticing Gotham has a hard on for blondes." Sojiro said.
"Aw~Thanks for worrying about me but I'll be fine. See ya Boss!" Ann went over and hugged Sojiro and waved goodbye to the others before making her leave.
"That one of yours too?" Jim asked, puffing out a cloud of smoke.
"Yeah got nine of em. You?" Sojiro asked.
"Heh. I thought havin' two was bad. You have my respect sir. Though to be frank, you're a sucker." Jim pointed his cigarette at Sojiro.
"Yeah, can't say I regret it though. Never bored at least." Sojiro said.
"I've seen enough excitement to last ten lifetimes. Though I guess I get it. I'm more proud of my daughter than I'll ever be of myself." Jim said, he pulled out a flask and took a long swig out of it.
"I thought you said you had two." Sojiro raised an eyebrow.
"I used to. I don't want to talk about it." Jim took another, deeper swig out of the flask.
"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. This one's on the house. Sorry to make you relive such bad memories. Have a few of them myself." Sojiro said.
"Don't worry about it you didn't know." Jim said as he drank his coffee. His eyes widened at the taste.
"Jesus man. What do you put in this stuff? Magic?" Jim asked shocked.
"Can't say I've heard that one before but thanks." Sojiro smirked.
"How is it that this place isn't flooded. Gotham coffee tastes like shit, but no one comes to lap this stuff up?" Jim asked, shocked.
"It's probably due to us being rather new, then again it's not like we were busy at our last location either." Akira said.
"That's what I keep telling you Sakura-san. You have the product, all you need is the conviction." Haru said.
"Well, you have my support. The guys back at the station will probably want a taste of this stuff too. They could kill for a good cup of joe like this." Jim said.
"You are more than welcome to tell your friend's of this place. Thank you." Haru said.
"*Yawn* You guys are so loud. With Yusuke's snorin' I can't get a lick of sleep." Ryuji said as he walked down the stairs for a much needed wake up call.
"Sorry Ryuji-kun. Here have this, try not to slam your head into it please." Haru teased.
"One time, I freakin' swear." Ryuji said defeated.
"I apologize Ryuji. It's not like you're much better." Yusuke said.
"What was that?! I sleep like a freakin' baby!" Ryuji shouted.
"Crying and screaming maybe." Akira joked.
"You wanna go, huh?! Me and you four eyes?! Bring it!" Ryuji said.
"No fighting in the shop. Eat your food, sheesh, you're so cranky in the mornings." Sojiro chided.
"Yeah, yeah." Ryuji said as he ate.
"Yusuke, here's your share. I put a little extra in your's. You'll need the energy to help with the move. Plus, you really need to remember to eat, son. You're paler than normal." Sojiro said.
"Thank you, boss. I appreciate the concern." Yusuke said, bowing.
"Oh! How rude of us! Do you wish to have something to eat as well Commissioner?" Haru asked, embarrassed.
"Sure? I never smell something quite like what you're making though." Jim said.
"Oh, well. It's Sojiro's famous curry. We grow local, organic ingredients for it! I must warn you though, we like it spicy here." Haru joked.
"Never heard of curry. Why not? I'm on vacation. Wife always said to eat healthier, if it's good this place is a paradise. Good joe and a place where my wife can't get on my ass for eating." Jim joked.
"We'll have to make another pot. You know how much Sumire eats." Akira said as he gave Jim a bowl.
"Right. She can sure pack it in." Sojiro rubbed his neck.
"Hey me and Yusuke are heading out. Meet ya there right Akira?" Ryuji asked.
"I can't believe Makoto managed to find so much furniture to move in the place so fast. Yeah, I'll be there." Akira said.
"Right? Though it's not like I can complain about it. At least we'll all have beds and more space. Well me at least, Sojiro's been hogging the bed upstairs." Ryuji said.
"Ryuji, how many times do I have to tell you? He needs the bed due to his back." Makoto said. She's been up a while now, doing the proper papers for the new stores.
"Let's be off Ryuji, we have a lot of work to do." Yusuke said.
"Right. Later." Ryuji said as the two left the store.
"He seems like a handful." Jim joked as he ate.
"He's got a good heart under all that flexin. Couldn't let a kid like that go cold." Sojiro said.
"Futaba's still asleep. Sumire is about to finish her practice however." Makoto said.
"You always were the big sister to us. Here, eat." Haru said, smiling.
"How's the adult work going?" Sojiro joked.
"Thanks for your help boss. Hopefully we can find another place around town to hold the rest of us. Though it'll definitely be less crowded here." Makoto sighed.
"You guys all sleep upstairs?" Jim asked.
"For now at least. Gotham sure bleeds you dry when it comes to housing." Sojiro said.
"I hear that." Jim said as he ate.
"The new store should help us though. I think a nice jazz club is hiding under all that dust." Haru said.
"Uh, can any of you guys even sing?" Sojiro asked.
"I'm definitely not." Makoto said.
"We could hire someone, I suppose." Haru said, looking away.
"I guess. I better head out. Ryuji and Yusuke need a leader. They'd get distracted otherwise." Makoto said, making her leave.
"I'll join you shortly. Haru and I have to finish prep for Sojiro." Akira said.
"Roger. Boss...please stop smoking in here. It's bad for business." Makoto said as she left.
"Narc." Sojiro laughed as he put the butt out.
"It's good to have at least one of those. Trust me." Jim said.
"Good morning all. I need to re-energize." Sumire said as she made her way down.
"As requested. Your extra large bowl." Haru said, lifting up the giant bowl.
"Jeez, kid. Leave some for the rest of us." Jim said, wide eyed.
"Bet you five bucks she eats it all in ten minutes." Sojiro smirked.
"All that?! HER?! That's a free five dollars friend. You're on." Jim smirked.
"Nice to see the entrepreneur spirit come out of you Sakura-san." Haru sweated.
"How rude! I need all this for practice. Boss, how could you betray me like this?" Sumire cried.
"Oh hush it's all in good fun." Sojiro patted her head while she pouted.
"Haru, could you wake Futaba up? It's getting late in the day." Sojiro said.
"Of course." Haru went off to do her task.
"Um...I'm finished." Sumire said, embarrassed.
"WHAT?!" Jim screamed.
"That's my girl. Officer, I believe you owe me five dollars." Sojiro smirked.
Jim grumbled as he handed the cash. That girl was a monster.
"*Yawn* How dare you wake me from my slumber? Sojiro you better make this up to me." Futaba said, rubbing her eyes. Morgana slumbered on her shoulders.
"Hey, don't bring the cat downstairs while customers are here." Sojiro said.
"Good morning to you too Chief." Morgana mewled.
"Hey, no worries. I'm not a health inspector, even if I was this stuff is too good to narc on the little things." Jim looked at the tiny girl. She reminded him of his daughter at that age. It brought back too many painful memories.
"Listen I gotta get going. Though, I gotta say I'm glad to see a business like yours pop up in the city. We need more places like this. I'm sure all the cops would hate to see this place go away. How about this, keep making that godly joe and I'll have a guy watch out for this block?" Jim asked.
"Sounds swell." Sojiro said.
"With coffee like this. You've already won over law enforcement. I'll have to bring Cash to this place." Jim said as he walked out the door.

"I'm still not over how you betted over my eating methods." Sumire said.
"Wait, you did what? Man, I sleep in once and I miss something good." Morgana complained.
"Aw shut up and eat your tuna." Sojiro said as he laid out Morgana's bowl.
The group made minor conversation as they ate, before all but Sojiro left to help in the move.

"Oh man, finally done." Ryuji layed on the couch, exhausted. The apartment was finally set up. The kitchen stocked up, beds in every room. Two for the girls, two for the boys. Akechi said he'd rather sleep on the sofa than listen to Ryuji and Yusuke snore.
"Hey where's Morgana-senpai?" Sumire asked.
"He wanted to have as much of the day as possible to crack the Clocktower." Futaba said.
"I hope he does, I could go for some good news today." Makoto said.
"Cheer up Mako-chan. Just think about it this way. We have another place to call home, and another store front for money." Haru smiled.
"Who's going to run the shop anyway?" Ryuji asked.
"We'll all chip in for now. I'll come here to work, Ann and Sumire will help me." Haru answered.
"By the way, I've been meaning to tell you all. I've managed to find a good amount of corrupt coppers throughout the city. I got a few names for Mementos. Do you think I can trust Officer Mack or the Commissioner?" Makoto asked.
"Keep a distance for now. Just keep gathering names for us. By the time we're done the police will have a whole new scandal." Akira said.
"Yusuke, did you make contact with Miss. Kyle?" Akira asked.
"Yes, we're to meet tonight in the Bowery. Near the museum. She's very curious about what exactly you want." Yusuke said.
"A partnership. Say I'm more than willing to pay her debt, with interest." Akira said.
The gang all prepared for the night to come, it won't be as exciting as the last they hoped.

Sumire walked the sidewalks of her quadrant, she had to find some kind of medical place for the team to restock on medication. Batman's assault on the team really did a number on their resources. She hated to lie but it was for the good of the team. She would ask around clinics for prescriptions of painkillers due to her extreme exercise regimen. It was a perfect cover.
Sumire walked in a clinic, it was in the backroads but could be suitable. She heard rumors of a researcher for advanced healing medications in Kingston. Dr. Leslie Thompkins was renowned in Gotham for her work in the medical field. Along with her research was her free clinic run by multiple people. It was perfect.
"Take a number please." A secretary said, the room was full of people and she had to wait a couple hours for her turn.
"Sumire Yosh-Yoshizawa? Is that right hun?" Dr. Thompkins asked. She was an older woman with pure white hair. Her kind eyes weighed down by bags and wrinkles.
"Yes that's right." Sumire said.
"Sorry about that. It's kind of a mouthful. Come on in." Dr. Thompkins said.
Sumire followed her into a sterile room that all clinics were known for.
"So what brings you here honey? You look like the picture of health." Dr. Thompkins said.
"Oh thank you. I'm here to request painkillers and energy stimulants for my training. You see I wish to be a professional gymnast." Sumire said, politely.
"Hm, you certainly have the body for it. Have you tried dieting? Or perhaps herbal methods?" the doctor asked.
"Yes well, that's the problem. I take dieting very seriously, doctor. I don't know what herbal methods to try. I was hoping you could give some suggestions." Sumire said.
"I see. So are you experiencing cramps or pulled muscles? Describe the pain dear." Dr. Thompkins said.
"Yes I experience a lot of those. I must push myself as far as I can go. I properly stretch and cooldown but still experience quite a lot of pain throughout my whole body." Sumire said.
"Ok. I'll prescribe some mild painkillers for your training. I believe I have a list of places that sell good remedies for your problems. Here. Come back if it gets worse. And please don't push yourself too hard dear." said.
"Of course. Thank you so much. I'll be back in a few weeks for my refill." Sumire said.
"Take care." Dr. Thompkins smiled. Such a kind and polite girl.

Morgana was very annoyed. He searched the building high and low. There was no way in.
He growled in agitation, he needed something. ANYTHING!
Morgana took a deep breath to calm himself. There were doors all around, rumors have stated that Gordon's daughter worked here. Something about it being a passion of hers to maintain the clock.
That's it, that's the in. No one dares attack the Commissioner's daughter, especially after that tragic accident. But a stray cat in the rain...if she's a sucker she'll stand no chance against my impeccable charm. Morgana smirked.
He made his way to the main entrance of the tower, cameras were everywhere. They zoomed in on him and looked away without a care. He simply laid down and waited for someone to answer the door, or come home.
Barbara rolled down the street, talking with Cassandra. They had just come back from lunch at her favorite sushi place.
"How are your wounds healing Cass?" Barbara asked.
"I'm getting there. You know me always looking for that next thrill." Cass said. Like the Thieves the Bat-family also had code words for their nightly activities.
"Just take it easy ok? I'd hate for those stitches to reopen. Shame Damian went to boarding school though. Then again, I think it'll be good for him. To make some friends his age." Barbara said.
"Damian is as stubborn as he's father Barb. I doubt he'll open up to any one a good while. Dick and Tim will have their hands full with him." Cassandra answered.
"Mew" a cat called out. Barbara looked around confused at the entrance of her tower.
"Oh, it's the cat that's been stalking around here. Hello pretty kitty." Barbara chirped out.
"Be careful, it may be one of Selina's." Cassandra said.
"Oh what does she have to say to me? You know how she works, she goes right to Bruce if she needs anything." Barabra scoffed.
"I suppose you're right. She usually doesn't collar hers either. Woah hey, back off" Cass said as the cat rubbed onto her legs.
"Aw~ Are you lost kitty? Come here." Barbara patted her lap. The black cat jumped on her lap and purred.
"Such a sweetheart~" Barbara cooed as she petted him.
"It's getting dark. I'd hate for some sicko to get their hands on it. You're obviously a cat person, why don't you watch it for the night?" Cass suggested.
Barbara looked at the cat's tag.
"Morgana huh? Such a strange name for a boy. Oh! He belongs to that new cafe in Chinatown. Dad can't stop gushing about it. You should have heard him, it's like he sounded like a young girl with a crush." Barbara laughed.
"It's high praise for him to be excited by something. They obviously care for him based on how groomed he is. They are probably worried." Cass said.
"I'll call the number on the tag. Tell the owner I'll return him in the morning. Looks like I have a little guest~." Barbara cooed as she rubbed Morgana.
Aw yeah. Paydirt baby. Morgana purred in victory as he entered the building. He doubted she had anything to do with Batman's base here. But at least now he had a way in the Clocktower.
"I better make it back to the studios. I need to train up." Cass said making her goodbyes.
"Don't push yourself." Barbara called out.

Akira was getting together a suitcase full of cash for Yusuke's meet. When he got a strange call for a number he didn't recognize.
"Who is it?" Ryuji asked.
"I don't know." Akira said as the phone rang.
"Better answer it. Might be something important." Yusuke said.
"Hello?" Akira said.
"Hi~. Are you the owner of a black cat named Morgana?" a voice answered.
"Um, yes. Why?" Akira asked. He heard Morgana on the other line.
"Akira! I have an in to the Clocktower! Play along!" The cat mewled, excited.
"Oh how cute~! He recognizes you! Well um- I found him wandering around my apartment. I can't stand to see him out in the rain. It's getting late and I'm sure you know how dangerous it gets at night. Do you- do you mind if I watch over him? Just for tonight?" The woman asked shyly.
Akira smirked as he answered. "Of course not. He's pretty easy going. Just make sure to settle some newspaper on the ground. He'll eat anything fish related, just make sure to return him tomorrow ok? He means a lot to me."
"Oh! Of course! Thank you for trusting me. I always wanted a cat and he's just so sweet. I'll bring him over in the morning. Cafe Leblanc right?" the woman asked.
"Yes, to whom am I speaking to?" Akira asked.
"Oh, how rude of me. My name is Barbara, I live in the Clocktower a few blocks away." Barbara said.
"Akira, watch over him. He likes to explore." Akira said.
"Of course you don't have to worry. Thanks again, I needed something like this." Barbara said, sighing in relief.
"No problem. See ya." Akira said as they made their goodbyes. He hung up the phone and looked at the guys.
"What is it?" Yusuke asked, not paying attention to the conversation.
"Seems Mona is laying on the charm. He got himself a lady at the Clocktower." Akira smirked.
"Nice to know he's sucking up to someone other than Ann. Niccce" Ryuji grinned.
Yusuke laughed. "My how adorable. He always was a womanizer. We're nearing the time to meet, ready?"
"Yeah, lets go." Akira said, picking up the briefcase.
"I should get going. Joey still hasn't introduced me to the guy he was talkin' about." Ryuji siad getting up.
"As of right now, cease calls to Mona. Would hate to compromise his infiltration." Akira said.
"I'll tell the others the news. Things are starting to look up." Ryuji said

Akechi tapped his fingers impatiently as the bar went on with it's business. There was no sign of Ryder anywhere. He tried calling him only to be met with silence. He hoped the man was still down enough to show his face here again.
"Hey, new guy. Thanks again for the help with that creep. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find kindness in this town." The blonde cat girl walked up to him and said.
"Don't worry about it. It bothers me that's the case however." Akechi smiled.
"I don't think I ever got your name. Gary never told me." The girl continued.
"Just call me Akechi, everyone else does." The boy said.
"Hm. I thought you looked Japanese. Me and my sisters here are the same. You have to call me "Wave" here, but outside if you need anything. I'm Maple." Wave smiled.
"Wave, tell me. Have you seen that Ryder character around here? I have to discuss something with him." Akechi asked.
"Hm? He's over at the bar as always. He's not asking for any more dances though. Guess he just needed a release." Wave pointed over to Ryder.
"Thank you." Akechi walked over to the man drinking away his sorrow.
"Go away kid, I don't know you." Ryder said rudely.
"You might not remember me from your last little romp. You gave me your card." Akechi said.
"Oh yeah. I was wondering who was blowing me up all day. You're that sketchy kid that led me to a warm night." Ryder grinned.
"Yes. I have a proposition for you." Akechi smiled.
"Tell me a name before ya try to sleep with me kid." Ryder snarked.
"I don't swing with alcoholics. I have information that could be very useful to your broken career. My name is Akechi. Do you want what I have or not?" Akechi asked impatiently.
"*Scoff* there it is. You're such a suckup. I can smell it a mile away. What do you have Mr. Sketchy Akechi? Better be good." Ryder said as he took another long sip of booze.
"A trade. Your information regarding Sionis. In exchange information on the Phantom Thieves." Akechi grinned.
"PFFFFTTTT! The Phantom Thieves!? Everyone wants a piece of them!" Ryder spat out his drink dramatically.
"I take it you're interested then?" Akechi asked, smirking.
Ryder looked around the bar suspiciously. He leaned into Akechi's ear.
"Not here. Sionis has ears everywhere. Let's take this to a more private place." Ryder whispered.
"Of course. Wave?" Akechi called the catgirl and she walked over.
"Yes?" she asked hesitantly.
"Me and Ryder here need one of the dance rooms to ourselves. I know you don't particularly like him. Do we have someone to spare? Someone good at keeping their mouths shut?" Akechi whispered.
"Hmmm. Really? Ok...PIGTAILS!" Wave called over to her sister. The same short girl Akechi spoke with the day before.
"Sup? He giving you trouble again?" Pigtails glared at Ryder.
"Nothing like that. New guy has business with him. Said he needs someone who's good with secrets. You in?" Wave asked.
"Yeah I'll give them a show. Watch over the shop for me." Pigtails answered.
"Aw man her? Can't it be the blue haired one? She'll just glare at me the whole time." Ryder complained.
"You're already on thin ice buddy. Be grateful you aren't thrown out for that shit with Wave." Pigtails scowled.
"We're here on business not pleasure Ryder. Try to show some professionalism." Akechi said.
"Whatever. This better be a good scoop kid." Ryder said.
Pigtails lead them to a private room. She let them enter first, closing the door behind her. Instead of offering a dance she laid down on a couch and started filing her nails.
"Hey, at least pretend you care." Ryder said.
"New guy said this is business. You talk then leave. You want me to put in earplugs sir?" Pigtails asked.
"At least someone in this room is good at their job. Yes. Thank you." Akechi smiled.
The girl compiled, putting in giant earplugs into the cat ears, and regular ones into the human ones.
So they're real huh? Interesting. Akechi thought
"Alright spill it." Ryder groaned.
"Tsk tsk tsk. So forward we haven't even made a deal yet." Akechi said.
"Come on kid what do you want? A lollipop?" Ryder snarked.
"I said I want information on Sionis. Also I want your compliance with my word. The Phantom Thieves can't have heists compromised after all." Akechi said.
"So you're in bed with them. Perfect, a scoop this big could land me my own show. Fuck that Summers bitch." Ryder grinned.
"I also need your continued intel on all others I chose to target. Don't fuck me on this or I'll take you down with me." Akechi threatened.
"Chill out kid. I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I also don't give away my sources, I am a professional despite your claims." Ryder said.
"So we have a deal. Intel for intel? No reports until I give the word?" Akechi asked, holding his left hand for a shake.
"Sure, beats sitting here feeling sorry for myself." Ryder said, taking his hand.

"Excellent, now. I'll start to prove myself. What do you want to know?" Akechi asked.
"How'd you do it? No way Hatter was blackmailed into becoming a better person. Jones maybe, Hatter no way." Ryder asked.
"That's the one line of questioning I won't answer. Besides, isn't it a more juicy story to people when they have no idea how the heist was done?" Akechi smirked.
"Dammit you're right. Ok. Who's the next target? No way this is a one hit wonder." Ryder said.
"My duty is to look in on Sionis, Falcone, or Wayne. We don't have a target set into stone as of yet. But plan on making a move by the end of May. One of the three preferably." Akechi answered.
"I don't have anything on Wayne. Hell, no one does. Guy is super secretive, we all know he's hiding something big behind that fake smile of his. I just can never get close enough for answers." Ryder said.
"Sionis then." Akechi said.
"You're right to target him. Bastard is untouchable right now. However as much as he denies it, Falcone is at the head of everything. His mob ties run deep and strong. They have caches all over town, kids joining for scraps. Police deep in their pocket." Ryder said.
"Do you have any idea of Falcone's hideout?" Akechi asked.
"None, there's no place he stays for long. Sionis really likes that Steel Mill though. It's his biggest accomplishment with his daddy's wealth. He's running the place into the ground but with illegal shit...You get where I'm going." Ryder said.
"Shit, nothing really new to me. Is there anything else you can think of?" Akechi asked.
"Find a way in there. A person he used to do business with. Someone that can be bought. There are plenty out there." Ryder suggested.
"Yes, I suppose that could work. It'll have to do for now. Take this, I'll be in contact." Akechi handed him a burner.
"Gotta tell ya. I'm excited to see how this shit plays out. See you around Sketchy Akechi." Ryder said as he walked out the door.
Akechi walked over and nudged Pigtails. She looked at him and pulled out an earplug.
"Ya done?" Pigtails asked.
"Yes, thank you Pigtails." Akechi said.
"Consider it payback for what you did for Maple. And call me Azuki, I hate my stage name." Azuki said.
"Azuki I notice you put earplugs in those cat ears. What exactly are you?" Akechi asked.
"Hey hey. Don't go askin' about that. We ain't that close yet." Azuki retorted.
"My apologies. I didn't mean to offend." Akechi said, backing off.
"No worries. Everyone asks about it. Just don't go asking my younger sisters about it. The wounds are still fresh." Azuki said as she left the room.
Akechi was left alone in the room to ponder on who exactly could get him into the Steel Mill.

"Akira said you like fish huh? Good thing I have leftovers. This is where you can relieve yourself Morgana. A little nook so you can have your privacy." Barbara said as she set up the little area.
Morgana looked around at the huge space. She really did maintain the clocktower alright. Her apartment windows showed the clock hands ticking away. He went to town on his food as Barbara received a call.
"Hey dad, starting work soon?" Barbara asked.
Morgana surveyed the room after finishing his dinner. There was nothing out of the ordinary to his eyes that would open a lead to Batman. He looked at the weird bust on one of her shelves.
Never figured her to be into such a weird looking thing but whatever. Morgana thought.
"Mmhm I made it home safe. Don't worry about me dad, I wasn't born yesterday." Barbara sighed.
Morgana hopped on the couch and yawned. He silently listened to her phone call.
"Be safe dad. Call me when your shift ends ok? Love you." Barbara sighed as he hung up the phone. She rolled over to Morgana, picking him up.
"I worry about him sometimes, Morgana. He still blames himself because of this." She presented herself to the cat.
"I would too in his shoes." Morgana mewled.
"Still, it's not like I'm made of glass. I can take care of myself. Chair be damned." She said determined as she rolled over to the bust. Morgana looked at her confused.
"What are you staring at that thing for? It's creeping me out." Morgana meowed.
"Anyway it's time for work. Do you want to see something cool, kitty?" Barbara asked, grinning.
Morgana was shocked when she tilted up the head. A scanner popped out under it and went up and down the two of them.
"IDENTITY CONFIRMED" A voice rang across the room. All of a sudden all the windows were covered by blast shields. The furniture and shelving all folding in on itself and going into secret compartments in the floor. Three giant monitors flashed the bat symbol as a desk rose above it's compartment.
"BING BING BING! I JUST WON THE FUCKING LOTTERY!" Morgana practically drooled at all the tech and gadgets. Futaba would have a heart attack!
"You like the lights Morgana? I must admit I feel like an evil mastermind with you in my lap. Muehehehe." Barbara joked.
"Oracle, are you ready to start the night?" Batman popped up on screen. His helmet missing, Morgana couldn't believe the luck he was having tonight!
"Yeah, locked and loaded Bruce." Barbara said.
"Who's your friend?" Bruce said looking at the cat.
"Hm? Oh. This is Morgana. He wanders around the Clocktower. I just couldn't resist. He's so adorable. I'll bring him back to the cafe he lives at tomorrow." Barbara said.
"I remember him. Cafe Leblanc right? Their coffee's to die for." Bruce said.
"You sound like my dad. Is it really that good?" Barbara sweated.
"Yes." Bruce said simply.
"Master Bruce are you ready? All systems are green on my end." Alfred called out.
"Yes let's go." Bruce put on his helmet and went into his car.
"Oh? Have you met Bruce kitty? I bet he scared the crap out of you." Barbara giggled.
That face. Bruce...BRUCE WAYNE! Morgana realized.
It all added up. The funds, the car, the freaking jet! HOW HAS NOBODY REALIZED IT?!
Morgana calmed himself and purred.

"I'm telling ya, we can trust him. You think that bastard Jones would just suddenly change like that. It would be great for the cause.
"Fine, fine. I'll talk to him. He did do a number on the boy wonder I hear." The guy said.
"Aw, yeah dude it was awesome! See that building over there? That's where he punched! Oh! HEY SKULL! This is the guy I've been wanting you to meet!" Joey called out.
"Sup. So who are you supposed to be?" Skull asked.
"Name's Lonnie Machin. Though everyone calls me Anarchy." Lonnie said.
"Ok...so what did you want us to meet for?" Skull asked.
"I've seen your work and I'm impressed. I believe the Phantom Thieves would be a perfect fit for our cause." Lonnie said.
"We already have a cause. Taking down corruption." Skull said.
"Yes and that matches with what I am doing. You've noticed it too right? The police don't care about us. Adults don't care about us. The rich kids in charge sip on wine in their high towers while the rest of us fight for scraps. I can't take it anymore. I say we claim the streets for the people. The true workers of our society and bring down the bastards who have forgotten us." Lonnie said.
"You have my attention so far. But you need more than a speech to convince me." Skull said.
"How about names? I have a good intel of corruption rotting in the entire city. Policemen, politicians, gangs. We work together to build a better tomorrow." Lonnie said.
"That's a start. Look. I'm not the guy in charge but I'll relay this for you. If you are truly practicing what you preach. Then I don't see any reason to not help you." Skull said.
"That's all I ask for. Please tell him to consider it. Something big needs to happen in order for anyone to change. I'll be around these parts if you need me. Joey here knows where to find me." Lonnie said.

Selina tapped her foot impatiently. They weren't late yet, but were cutting it close. She wondered just what Fox meant by the interest added onto the debt. That leader of his got more and more of his interest.
"Miss. Kyle I presume?" Joker asked walking up with Fox.
"This is your leader? He's the same age as you!" Selina said, shocked.
"My age is of no consequence. Now, Fox told me he owes quite a sum of money. Is this true?" Joker asked.
"Yes, that piece of art was priceless! How can you ever hope to repay me?" Selia asked.
"I apologize Joker, I couldn't stand by with such an act." Fox bowed.
"No worries Fox. We just have to work out a deal that benefits her as well as us." Joker smirked.
"Joker? You're crazy kid, taking on that mantle. Do you know what that clown does to copy cats?" Selina asked.
"I assure you I'm nothing like that clown. Like for instance, he would kill you rather than just settle a deal." Joker said. Selina shivered at that.
"He wouldn't hire a kid like Fox either. If he was lucky he'd be chow for Harley's hyenas." Selina said.
"Anyway, I've brought him here to bargain with you " Fox said.
"Bargain? No way! You owe what you owe that's that." Selina siad stubbornly.
"You misunderstand. I'll gladly pay you back with interest. On one condition." Joker said.
"What's that?" Selina asked.
"You become a partner in our endeavors. I've heard of your work and I'm a fan. What do you say you lend our talents to us?" Joker asked.
"Who is your group anyway?" Selina asked.
"The Phantom Thieves of Hearts." Fox answered.
"What? The group who brought down the Hatter. That guy barely had any cash. You have nothing to tempt me." Selina said.
"Here's a taste of what's to come." Joker opened the briefcase, and showed it was full of cash.
"G-g-goodness. Is that all?" Selina tried, practically drooling.
"Impressed. That's only a dent of the take. We also find jewelry among plenty of shiny things. I understand you like those as well. I promise the finds we get are nothing like you've seen before." Joker said.
"C-can I see one please?" Selina begged.
Joker brought out a Queen's Necklace in front of her. He was right, it wasn't like anything she's seen before. It was so beautiful, so pretty, so shiny.
"Consider this a gift to a long partnership. What do you say? Every heist you get that amount, and I'll throw in things like these as a bonus." Joker said, handing it over to Selina.
"You really know how to tempt a lady. What kind of thief would I be if I said no?" Selina said.
"Great. Now first off. Are you with Batman?" Joker asked.
"Why? I thought your group were goodie goodies." Selina asked.
"Not exactly. We conflict with Batman out of obligation. Not malice. You know how territorial he is." Joker said.
"Yes, I suppose I do. I can't tell you anything about him. I owe him too much. Though with this partnership, I won't say a word to him about you. Sound fair?" Selina asked.
"Perfect. I really rather have you where you are comfortable. If Batman is a no go. Fine. We have to fight him, but I won't have you have anything to do with it. Fair?" Joker held out his hand.
Selina smirked and took his hand.

"WE'RE CLOSED." A familiar voice rang out.
"Oh, sorry. I'm just so concerned about Akechi. What with his phantom thievery and all." White Rabbit said sweetly.
The door unlocked and swung open. The woman was grabbed and pulled in violently to the ground of the cafe. Sojiro aimed a shotgun at her.
"My what a welcome." White Rabbit said.
"Sojiro what are you doing? Where did you get that gun?" Futaba asked, startled.
"Can never be too careful in Gotham, sweety. Talk." Sojiro growled out cocking the gun.
"*giggle* So protective of your young. I merely request discussion with those who saved me from the Hatter. Looks like I've found them." White Rabbit said.
"Saved you? You're the one Crow interrogated back then. The one that chased after Panther and begged for us to do somethin?" Futaba asked.
"The very same. I don't wish to out you. In fact, I'm here to offer my services. I owe a debt to these thieves. Won't you hear me out before you toss me back into the cold?" White Rabbit pouted.
"...Ease off Sojiro. This could be something promising." Futaba said.
Sojiro helped the woman up and she dusted herself off.
"Thank you Alibaba. I saw you all battle Batman last night, quite a sight to behold." White Rabbit smiled.
"Guys, we have a situation at the cafe. The woman Crow interrogated has found us out."
"Please do call on Ann and Akechi dear, I want to thank them." White Rabbit smiled.
"How do you-*sigh* Crow, Panther? She wants to talk to you personally. We're busted gang. She knows everything." Futaba sighed.
"Don't be so down Alibaba. I don't know everything. I never caught your name for example." White Rabbit cooed.
"Hey lay off of her." Sojiro growled.
"Oh, apologies. I didn't mean to strike a nerve. I'm here to make a deal after all." White Rabbit said.
Joker bursted in the cafe. He was the closest after all.
"Is everyone alright?" Joker asked the room.
"Ah, the leader! I'm pleased to meet your acquaintance Joker. Would you care for some coffee? You make it so good afterall." White Rabbit grinned.
"What do you want with us? We saved your life." Joker asked, tensely.
"I'm well aware of that fact. I don't plan on forgetting it any time soon. I wish to strike a deal with you. To repay your team for saving my life." White Rabbit said, calmly.
"I'm listening." Joker said, calming down slightly.
"I offer my services for one heist absolutely free of charge. After that, you'll have to pay me for my services. Don't worry though. What kind of ungrateful person would rat out their heroes?" White Rabbit said.
"You sure do have a way of easing my fears. Just what are these services?" Joker asked.
"Oh anything really. Information, infiltration, management on lower tier thugs, anything you wish I'll do. I warn you though, after this heist I do not come cheap." White Rabbit smirked.
"Didn't you get caught by Hatter though? How good can you be?" Futaba asked, doubtful.
"Oh Alibaba. You hurt me. That runt caught me off guard, something I vow to never happen again. No one will ever catch me again." White Rabbit said, angrily.
"We came as fast as we could. Crow's pissed though." Queen said. In came her, Violet, and Noir.
"Aw~my little knight is upset I found him? Sit, sit we were just discussing my terms." White Rabbit said.
"Terms? What does she mean Joker?" Noir asked.
"She offered a freebie for our troubles. Anything goes." Joker said.
"You're a business woman Haru. My deal can't be refused." White Rabbit said.
"How...Oh, dear." Noir said.
"It's worse than I thought." Violet said.
"How'd you find us? We were so careful." Queen asked.
"Oh, it was hard trust me. Akechi is a hard man to keep track of. Ann...ehhh not so much." White Rabbit said.
"*sigh* Right. What's your endgame here? There has to be more than repaying us." Queen said.
"Curiosity I suppose. I never worked for a group quite like yours before. It's quite refreshing to see such new faces." White Rabbit said.
"You want to know how we do it." Joker said.
"I mean sure. I really don't care much what you guys do. If you haven't noticed I'm not exactly a saint." White Rabbit said.
"You simply thrill seek? While the city around you burns?" Queen asked.
"Don't judge me. What I do with my life is my business. I simply wish to be in on the ride of a lifetime." White Rabbit retorted.
"WE'RE HERE! Me and Fox met up and...and...dammmmmn" Skull drooled looking at the intruder.
"My, such an outfit. Where do you get such clothing?" Fox asked, framing her with his fingers.
"Oh, you know. Around." White Rabbit sweated.
"You two outside! That's the last thing we need. The two of you distracting us." Queen commanded.
"Such grace. Please model-" Fox was interrupted by Queen.
"I said out! Go take a cold shower in the rain!" Queen yelled.
"*giggle* No worries. I'm aware of the effect I have on boys. I'm watching you Sojiro~" White Rabbit giggled.
"BOSS!" Queen yelled, betrayed.
"I-I need a smoke." Sojiro walked out blushing.
"Men, I swear." Queen sighed.
"So where's my knight in shining armor? And the blonde he protected?" Whited Rabbit asked.
"I'm here. How did you find out? WAS IT SKULL?! I'LL KILL HIM!" Crow screamed out.
"Crow calm down." Panther said.
"The blonde boy? No, it wasn't him. I simply kept track of the two of you. Particularly you Akechi." White Rabbit smiled.
"It can't be. I would have seen you a mile away." Crow growled.
"You know what they say about rabbits. They have a keen eye." White Rabbit joked.
"What do you want from us?" Panther asked.
"With you dear, I want to apologize for that nasty bruise I gave you. For Akechi, I feel I owe my life. He's the one who took down the Hatter in my eyes. I am forever grateful." White Rabbit said.
"Save your thanks. If you're grateful then you would have left us alone." Crow growled.
"But then I wouldn't get to see you again my knight~" White Rabbit cooed, walking over and caressing his cheek. She tried to slip some fingers under the helmet. Crow held her hand and threw it away.
"Get away from me you slut." Crow growled.
"Crow, she's offering a deal. Stand down." Joker said.
"Yes, a chance to return the favor. A freebie just for you." White Rabbit winked.
"What is that exactly?" Crow asked through narrowed eyes.
"I heard through the grapevine you're looking into Falcone and Sionis. I would gladly give you the information you so desperately need." She said.
"Oh? What is it you know that I don't already?" Crow asked.
"A way into the Steel Mill and a way to get an ear on Falcone. I've done work for them once upon a time. I could be the bridge between worlds." White Rabbit grinned.
The whole room was listening now.
"I'm listening." Crow said.
"I don't have an in for Falcone. I do know that he'll be attending a charity ball hosted by Wayne. It will help raise money for crime prevention. He'll be there...to gloat." White Rabbit said.
"That's more than what we have gotten in a week. You truly want to help huh?" Joker asked.
"You still doubt me?" White Rabbit asked.
"Not anymore. I would be more than happy to have you. Whatever your wage is after this heist. I'll gladly pay it." Joker said.

"Oh boy! I knew something was off with those files. He was too squeaky clean. I could never expect this! Good job Mona, you have earned the most fancy of tunas tonight!" Futaba cheered.
"I should have known that the liar was up to something. This is quite a find however." Akechi grinned.
"To think how far that man has gone to avenge his parents. Tragic really. I can definitely understand his motivation though." Makoto sighed.
"Bruce Wayne! BRUCE FREAKIN' WAYNE! This is huge man!" Ryuji shouted.
"Shut your mouth. If anyone lets it out we could be tracked." Akechi said.
"I was thinking of putting on a little show. Show our strength to the Dark Knight." Akira said.
"You idiot! You want him to hunt us down!" Akechi shouted.
"Just a little chat to clear things up. Looks like the charity will be a two for one deal." Akira grinned.
"You're so reckless, you know that?" Futaba said.
"Oh man I'm all for that. Put that bastard in his place Akira!" Ryuji cheered.
"A little bragging never hurts." Morgana grinned.
"I thought you were up for the challenge Akechi. Scared of the big bad bat?" Ann teased.
"You... Fine! Do what you will! Your unleashing hell Akira." Akechi sighed.
"I know. And I can't think of a better way for Bat-mite to lay off." Akira grinned.
That silenced Akechi. It was a bold move, but worth it to get on the runt's good side. He didn't want to experience death for a fourth time. Not unless it's final.
