AN: I'm back and aiming to finish up this arc. I'm glad to see all of you guys liking it so much. Next palace as spoiled by myself will be Selina's or the Mirror Vain. I have to take into account all of the Mirrors when writing this and have been very careful with how time passes. A lot has happened in one night though. And I don't think it's realistic for every hideout to be set up in a day. It's a matter of time, space, and money. Have no fear I have a plan dear viewers. But for the next few chapters Constantine will be very depressed, I have to plan the ceremony for Zatanna's funeral. I was thinking around two weeks is enough from experience to set things up for a proper funeral. So May 24th….yeah….that sounds good. Anyway I'm ranting so here's the next chapter.

FEEDBACK:

FireRem78910: Sorry friend, I know Zatanna means a lot to a lot of people. But I had to convince Constantine to join somehow. He was too much of a threat to keep on Batman's side. Trust with him and his teachings Joker will be much stronger.

ENDDRAGON369: Yeah Messiah and Mary have a place in this, as well as Athena for Wonder Woman. Soonish, I'm taking my time and not rushing things, and Wonder Woman isn't a priority for the Thieves at the moment.

Calderoneroc758: Thanks for the feedback man. I wasn't sure because it sounded so similar to Futaba's palace. Yeah Ra's will appear with his assassins in due time. Also same with being bored, I feel like this fic is the only thing keeping me entertained anymore.

Guest: The vain mirror will be very different from Madarame's palace friend. Have no fear. I'm very excited for that one, but it's going to be a while. But I get what you're saying, use the Titans to see who trap them. Cool idea, I'll try to put it to use.

Guest: Constantine will learn all there is to learn about the Collective Unconsciousness. It's just not very important to him at the moment.

Guest: I'm saving carnival themes for something else. I didn't think of Joker getting pissed at Bat-mite for not being the top villain. That's a very interesting concept.

Thank you friends for all of your wonderful feedback~!

WARNING: Y'all know the drill by now. I'm not going soft anytime soon. Graphic violence, gore, mention/act of rape, sexual situation/ straight up lemons, character death, and Bat-mite. The Dark Knight deserves a dark story. Please avert your eyes from the following if you are sensitive to any of the above.

I don't own Batman, Justice League, Persona, or Nekopara

Enjoy~

"MAKEUP! MAKEUP!" Summer shouted. She was grinning ear to ear at the news. Wayne made a declaration that he would not support Ryder in his little come back.

"Where is my coffee?" She barked. A young blonde rushed up to her and gave her the drink.

"How young are we hiring here Jim? Don't tell me you're fucking her?" Summer glared at the executive of the studio who fired Ryder.

"Of course not. She merely interns here her transcripts are outstanding." Jim said sweating, not liking that Summer knew his type. Young and dumb.

"It's an honor to meet you Miss. Summer. You are like a hero to me. My name is Tara Markov. Pleased to meet you." Tara smiled, putting her acting to work.

"I don't recall giving a shit about your name, newbie. Get out of my sight." Summer growled.

Tara made her way acting shy, in reality she was pissed. That bitch can get bent.

"It's time Sally." Jim said.

"Do I really have to give the little moment of silence for the magic bitch? It doesn't flow well with the upbeat tone of the show." Sally said.

"If we don't at least mention it, people will think we don't care about her dying in the field." Jim said.

"Whatever. Fine… but I'm more excited about the news of Ryder. I hope he dies in a ditch somewhere for the shit he pulled." Sally cackled.

"That makes two of us." Jim said walking away.

"We're live in three, two…" The crew member said.

"GOOD MORNING GOTHAM! WELCOME TO WAKING UP WITH SALLY!" The announcer said.

Tara watched the whole thing with a bored face, she really didn't see the point in doing this, for surveillance.

"If you haven't heard already the great Leaguer known as Zatanna died in her own home last night. A wild fire suddenly burnt her ancestral home to the ground. We at the Gotham Public Access want to commend the great hero for her work in upholding justice. May she rest in peace. The funeral will be public for all who want to attend, on May 24th. A moment of silence for our fallen hero." Summer said. She bowed her head and closed her eyes in mock respect. After the moment ended she continued.

"In other grim news. My past co-host Jack Ryder is being accused of aiding the Phantom Thieves, a group deemed an enemy of the state, city, and fired from his job at the Daily Planet. Bruce Wayne and the heads of the Planet deny any involvement with the Phantom Thieves, we at the Public Access express the same statement. Wherever you are Jack, you must turn yourself in and end this madness." Summer said seriously, but inside she was cheering at saying such words.

Ryder was a stain on her otherwise great career, and she hated having to keep mentioning his existence.

"This is the place? It's so tiny." Maple said, flipping her wavy blonde hair.

"Yeah. Don't complain, it's our only place to blend in for now. The older guy owns the place, but the black haired kid calls all the shots. Whatever he says goes." Azuki straightened her uniform White managed to dig up.

"The windows are boarded up though. Are you sure it's safe?" Cinnamon asked.

"Just a robbery. Come on girls we've been in Gotham for a while now, you know we get what we can." Azuki said looking up at her two younger sisters.

"I guess you're right. Last night still has me in shock though. I couldn't sleep at all." Maple whimpered.

"I….I know... But we have to keep moving. For the ones at home." Azuki pounded a fist in her palm.

Azuki let the other two gather themselves before opening the door. She saw Sojiro, Haru, and Makoto already up. Haru was helping as usual, and Makoto was doing the financial paperwork White gave her for the Broker.

"Morning. What are your names again?" Sojiro asked.

"I'm Akzuki Minaduki. These are my younger sisters Maple and Cinnamon." Azuki said.

"You guys are related how exactly?" Sojiro asked.

"Ah, we aren't sir. We simply call ourselves that so we can stick together." Cinnamon answered.

"Yeah, so if you catch these two doin' the horizontal tango, don't freak out." Azuki pointed at her two "sisters".

"AZUKI!" Maple screamed blushing bright red.

"Ah~ such lewdness~ Cinnamon's going to drool~" Cinnamon gripped her head with both hands blushing and drooling madly.

"Look, just make sure to do that stuff in front of customers and we're fine. Actually don't do it at the premises at all." Sojiro cringed.

"Aw~ That will be hard for my...condition." Cinnamon looked dejected.

"Can...Can we just forget this ever happened?" Maple asked.

"Did you three eat anything yet? We have plenty of food for breakfast." Haru changed subjects quickly.

"Oi, who's screaming this early?" Akira slugged downstairs looking terrible.

"It's the three women you have hired Akira." Makoto answered him.

"Jeez man, you look even worse than last night." Azuki said.

"Akira? Did you manage to get any sleep?" Haru asked, worried.

Akira sighed and looked dejected at all of them. He faced the room and prepared himself.

"You three already know all about our organization so why bother…*sigh* Yoshida's dead. You know who killed him." Akira said.

"WHAT?! Why?! We pulled a massive heist and managed to free Fox and Panther. What possible reason did he have to punish us?" Makoto roared.

"You know the guy Barb was talking about? Constantine...he tracked down the Velvet Room. Something I didn't even know was possible." Akira said, running a hand through his hair.

"No...does that...mean we're compromised?" Makoto asked, terrified.

Akira opened his mouth and was about to answer. When the door's bell rang and Barbara herself wheeled in.

"AKIRA!" Morgana leaped off Barb's lap and clawed up Akira to his shoulder for a nuzzle. He knew his leader pulled off the escape but needed to see with his own eyes. Barbara however was not as happy, she looked very depressed and tired.

"What happened here? Looks like you guys had just as much of a bad night as I did." Barbara said softly.

"Just an attempted robbery. The guy had a change of heart before he could do anything." Sojiro said.

"The Phantom Thieves helped you too huh?" Barbara asked.

"Hey, I know we don't know each other that well but, you look terrible. Are you ok?" Makoto asked.

"No...I… A close friend died last night in a fire. My mom was saved by the Phantom Thieves but she's moving away and divorcing my dad. He looked so torn up, they both did." Barbara sighed.

"Sorry to hear that. I heard the news about Calendar Man. Here take some food, my treat." Sojiro said, but Barbara shook her head.

"I...don't have much of an appetite right now. I just need to be alone, work through all of this. Um...can I watch Morgana again sometime?" Barbara asked on the verge of tears.

"Of course." Akira said.

"Thank you…*sniff* Thank you so much. I...I gotta go. Take care." Barbara lept in a really sad state.

"Hey, what happened, all I know is that some guy named Constantine was making our job hell. Then the next thing he quit the case because of what looked like a mental shut down. What happened?" Morgana asked.

"Uh… are you for real?" Azuki looked shocked at the cat, her and her sisters' brains able to understand him due to being part cat.

"Hmm? What are ya looking at me that way for?! The hell are you guys?!" Morgana hissed.

"Um...did that little kitty just…" Cinnamon couldn't finish her sentence.

"You guys are so freaking weird. And I have a freaking tail!" Maple said, hiding behind Cinnamon in terror of Morgana.

"Joker what's going on?" Morgana asked.

"I think our new friends can understand you Mona. Azuki, Maple, Cinnamon work at the cafe as the club was destroyed and White demanded we give them work." Akira said, shocked as well.

"WHAT?! You idiot! How do we know we can trust them?!" Morgana yowled.

"Oh god he's pissed. Hide me." Maple whimpered.

"Look guys. Get familiar with one another fast, Morgana is my right hand man and his word is just as good as mine or Makoto's. I trust you won't reveal his little secret?" Akira asked.

"Would anyone even believe us if we didn't?" Azuki asked.

"Hmph, I suppose that's true. Don't worry ladies, I don't bite. I'll be nothing but a gentleman to all of you." Morgana said evenly.

" You better know what you are doing Akira." Morgana whispered in Akira's ear.

"Had no choice, White was very demanding. They already knew about us through Crow and the gala." Akira whispered back.

"This is fucking ridiculous. You're lucky they're cute." Morgana whispered.

"I knew that you would say that." Akira smirked.

"Their scent is half cat. Just what are they?" Morgana asked.

"Oi, no questions about that and we won't ask any questions about you deal? Seriously, you think we can't hear you with our giant ass ears?" Azuki scowled.

"Aw~ He thinks I'm cute." Cinnamon smiled.

"Hard pass." Maple trembled.

"Whoops." Morgana sweated.

"Hey, one of them is curious. Maybe you can move on from Ann. You know it's never happening." Akira teased.

"Shut up! Tell me what happened with Constantine." Morgana hissed.

"Who said I was interested? He is much too...let's say small and furry." Cinnamon smiled apologetically.

"Aw man...even the one in heat mode is denying me." Morgana looked dejected.

"Heat mode?" Akira asked.

"AH….erm...please don't ask about that." Cinnamon blushed.

"Again? We did it on the way here." Maple whispered in Cinnamon's ear.

"You know it can't be helped. Those bastards made me this way." Cinnamon frowned.

"Contantine found the Velvet Room. Yoshida was killed as punishment, and Constantine killed Zatanna while possessed. I made a deal to get revenge with him. He's with us now." Akira told the room.

"Yoshida is dead? No…" Morgana whimpered.

"At least there was some good news in that. If he manages to track us so easily he will make a good asset." Makoto sighed.

"Boss if you see him let in." Akira said.

"Uh, how would I know what he looks like?" Sojiro asked.

"Oh, uhhh….Do you know the singer Sting?" Akira asked.

"No." Sojiro looked at Akira as if he had grown a second head.

"Look him up and that's about him. Futaba should be able to find a picture in the papers somewhere if needed. Look I gotta go, Akechi gets cranky when I'm late." Akira scooped up Morgana into his bag and made his way to the door.

"Hehehe. I can't believe that guy works with you. He screams untrustworthy." Azuki laughed.

"Yeah that's kind of his whole thing. Later." Akira exited the door.

"It's about time." Akechi said, seeing Akira approach.

"Yeah, yeah nice to see you too." Akira said.

"This is the place? It doesn't look on the level." Akechi looked over at the pawn shop Floyd ran.

"He's shady but doesn't ask questions. What more do you want?" Akira asked.

"True enough I suppose. How are the new employees doing?" Akechi rolled his eyes at the thought.

"Fine. But apparently they can understand Morgana. Which opens even more questions of just what they are." Akira said.

"Interesting. The more they talk, the more suspicious I get." Akechi said, straightening out his gloves.

"Whatever it is it can wait. They just want work, that's fine. We have more pressing matters." Akira said.

"White has a meat supplier ready to sell. I just need the cash. Hopefully by tonight we have the sewers." Akechi said as they walked up to the pawn shop.

"Just what are you guys going to do?" Akira asked.

"Give it a deal. Food and shelter in exchange for the sewers. If it's really a giant reptilian man as White describes I suppose those two things would be hard to come by." Akechi said.

"How crazy are our lives that a giant reptilian man doesn't even faze me anymore?" Akira asked.

"Don't get fucking existental with me. We're here." Akechi said.

The two with Morgana in tow hiding in Akira's bag entered the pawn shop. Floyd was in the same position they left him. Leaning back in his chair with his legs on the table. The gun Akira gave him was being proudly displayed in the glass casing.

The only real difference was the young girl playing a handheld console sitting cross legged on the glass counter. Her headphones were blasting.

"What's up Floyd?" Akira asked.

Floyd looked up and nodded quietly.

"What you got?" Floyd asked simply.

"Cats allowed in here?" Akira asked.

"Don't care." Floyd said.

"Out Morgana." Akira said. The feline jumped out as Akira poured out all the goods.

"More than usual. Better have a good gun man." Floyd said.

"Hm? Kitty~!" The girl cheered. She couldn't be older than five. She scooped up and nuzzled Morgana who meowed in protest.

"Ugh...I'm too charming for my own good." Morgana groaned.

"Get ready for school Zoe. We're leaving soon." Floyd said.

"Kay~ Hey Mister, can I bring your kitty for show and tell?" Zoe asked.

"Sorry, I'll need him back. He's very important to me" Akira smiled at the girl.

"Awwww~" Zoe pouted but set Morgana down to get ready for school.

"Whose this guy? What happened to blondie?" Floyd asked.

"Don't worry about it. Here." Akira pulled out Ryuji's old gun, the power in it should be more than enough to satisfy Floyd.

"Looks like a flashy shotgun to me." Floyd said.

"The power is beyond any standard shotgun. Blondie used to use it as his favorite before getting an even more powerful one." Akira smirked.

"Oh yeah? Let's see." Floyd picked it up and cocked it. He walked over to his shooting range and prepared a shot.

"Gotta warn you Floyd, it has a lot of kickback." Akira smirked.

"Shhhhh. Don't ruin the moment." Floyd smiled as he fired. The blast was powerful enough to put a massive dent in the wall. The whole building seemed to shake in response.

"Oh yeah...that's some good shit." Floyds shooting arm aches in response for the blowback.

"DADDY! WHAT WAS THAT!" Zoe rushed in with a frightened expression on her face.

"Daddy is just trying out some new equipment sweetie." Floyd patted his daughter's head calming her.

"What do you think?" Akira asked.

"Hmmm. I don't know...this is a fine gun, a powerful gun, but where's the special stuff?" Floyd smirked.

"Hmph. Not impressed?" Akira laughed.

"Impressed yes. Blown away no. Come on give me some good shit." Floyd said.

"Daddy said a no no word." Zoe covered her ears.

"Seems you're not impressed by power, perhaps precision is more your alley." Akechi pulled out a laser gun out of his back pocket and held it out.

"Oh come on. That's something she would play with." Floyd motioned to her daughter.

Akechi didn't leave eye contact as he aimed and shot the laser right in the bullseye. Floyd smirked at that.

"Want a go? This is my lucky pistol, never missed a shot without it." Akechi handed the gun to Floyd.

"Never missed a shot huh? How fancy you go with it?" Floyd asked.

"Go wild." Akechi said.

Floyd smiled and aimed at a wall and fired. The shot ricochet across all of the four walls multiple times before hitting bullseye. Floyd looked at the laser in satisfaction.

"How do I reload this thing?" Floyd asked.

"Batteries." Akechi smirked.

"Hmhmhmhm. Batteries…*sigh* Ok. This gun I can get behind." Floyd said.

"Take both of them. Consider it a gift to our continued deal." Akira said.

"Fine by me. Let's get to pawnin'." Floyd walked up to the counter.

Floyd gave them massive amounts of cash in exchange for all of the goods.

"Thank you. See you around." Akira said. Morgana jumped back into the bag and they three made their leave.

"That was an impressive shot. Almost like a threat." Akechi said.

"We caught him with his daughter. That must have been it, a message not to screw with her." Akira said.

"I wonder… just who that man is. Certainly more than some back alley pawnshop owner." Akechi said.

"Take this. Should be enough for whatever you need." Akira handed Akechi his bag and Morgana lept out onto Akira's shoulder.

"You sure you want to go into the palace without me? Would hate to have to save all of your asses." Akechi said.

"We'll be fine Crow. Didn't know you cared so much." Morgana teased.

"If you die I can not properly kill Bat-mite. So try not to fuck anything more up." Akechi growled.

"Love you too. I'll call when we get back. Tell White Rabbit to find as many recruits as possible." Akira said.

"Ryder has been calling me nonstop. He's pissed for losing his job because of Wayne. I'm considering cutting him off." Akechi said.

"Don't. He'll run to Batman and sing. Can't have that, people are after him now. Set him up somewhere safe and private. Instead of a calling card we can hack broadcasts again with him as a spokesman." Akira said.

"I meant killing him but very well. I'll tell him the news. Goodbye." Akechi started to change direction from the other two.

"Happy hunting." Akira responded.

Floyd put the shotgun in the casings. He frowned, he didn't like guys like that knowing his daughter by name. After last night he had to make sure to keep her close. He remembered hearing Blockbuster's name on the news. With the amount of confessions being leaked to the public he figured if Blockbuster started singing he would die. And Suicide Squad Member dying pissed off Waller greatly. He earned a lot of leeway with her over the years, earning this spot in Gotham with his kid as an award.

He prayed she won't come to his door, threatening him and his life again with the lack of a member. Then again there were plenty more assets to go through before it came to that.

PEW!

"I got it daddy!" Zoe cheered holding the laser gun..

"Zoe, don't play with that thing. It's dangerous." Floyd said.

"Aww but I got the red dot just like you taught me." Zoe pouted.

"I'm proud of ya sweetie. But until I can take it apart and put it back together to see how it works, steer clear kay?"

"Kay…" Zoe said.

Floyd told her to get ready for school and she left the room. Those kids were sketchy as anyone could be. There was no mention of any robbery with a couple of miles, unless they were the ones who robbed Black Mask.

At the end of the day he didn't care. He had plenty of money to give to them in exchange for goods. He knew connections who would buy all of it no question. So what the hell? Why is his gut telling him to be wary of them? Well, more than he already was anyway.

Dick sighed as he straightened his tie. He always hated acting like a pompous douchebag. He prefers to be his own flavor of it. He, Tim and Damian rode up the elevator to greet Bruce officially in front of everyone. The destruction of the Studios made headlines and Bruce's injuries were too great to hide. The story was made that it was above a giant sinkhole and Bruce was at the site for late night browsing. A dumb excuse but Gotham bought it all the same. Bruce was just seen the day before so he couldn't claim to have been doing his extreme sporting as an excuse.

"Boys~" Wayne said as they entered the room.

"Pleased to see you all. As you can see your father is fine." Lucius smiled, greeting all of them.

"Just wanted to be sure. It's a shame what happened, but we should use this time to catch up." Tim said.

"Damian I hope you don't mind being transferred to Gotham Academy, with all the things going on I want to keep you close." Bruce said.

"Of course father." Damian said.

"I leave you four alone for a while. I have matters to attend to." Lucius said as he closed the great doors behind him. Bruce pressed the button to shield and soundproof the room.

"Status." Bruce said.

"Everyone has settled in fine. It's the first day and we've only been here a few hours so…" Dick said.

"Were there any sightings of Constantine anywhere?" Bruce asked.

"No. Even if he's working with the Thieves now, I imagine he needs to properly grieve. And we all know his grieving methods." Tim said.

"Check all the bars, the alleys, anywhere where you can find alcohol. I need him back." Bruce said.

"He quit the League, father. He is a traitor." Damian growled.

"He's clearly unstable and unpredictable. If we scoop him off the floor and comfort him at his lowest, he's sure to give his best." Bruce said.

"We'll do our best. Finding him will prove to be a challenge. He knows all of our tactics. How are your wounds?" Tim asked.

"Annoying." Bruce growled gulping down painkillers.

"Take it easy tonight. I doubt the Thieves will strike tonight anyway. They need to gather themselves after yesterday's attack." Dick said.

"No. A sudden disappearance will cause the questioning of thugs. They may be mostly stragglers as of now, but we must use this to stomp out the turf war that's sure to come." Bruce said.

"I'm sure with us back, they'll get the message." Dick said.

"No. They'll see you for what you all are. A sign of me being cautious, and whenever I hesitate even slightly they take a mile in return." Bruce said.

"We won't let that happen." Damian said.

"I know. But I have a feeling that the Phantom Thieves are always holding something back. Joker has yet to make a single move of attack with his own hands. Why? Is he confident he would win or sure he would lose?" Bruce asked.

"Either way if he did have another summon as strong or even stronger than this Lavenza, it would be bad for him to unleash it." Tim said.

"That's another thing, just how many does he have in his corner aside from her? Another thing I recall Constantine and her talking about is arcana like a tarot deck. She said it had to do with everything in the fight." Bruce said.

"I don't know anything about that. And with Constantine gone for now we might have to consider other options." Dick said.

"With Zatanna gone and Constantine rouge there really is only one. He's just hard to convince with the current level of threat." Bruce said.

"You mean Dr. Fate? Bastard didn't do anything to help Zatanna, so why would he help now?" Dick growled.

"He is our only option. Or at least his wife Inza Cramer." Bruce said.

"It's worth a shot. In case Constantine doesn't return." Tim said.

"I'll put in the call. It might take a while for them to answer. They're always so busy in that giant tower of theirs." Bruce said.

Black Mask's Palace

The Phantom Thieves made their way up the now unlocked staircase. They had earned both Black Mask's respect and his rage. All the monitors called for them to be dead.

"They made me kill Moe. Find them and kill them. You hear that you fuckers! I know all about your deal with White Rabbit. That bitch is dead, this business just got personal." Black Mask said.

"This guy will never see us. We will defeat him first." Mona smirked.

"I heard that you've hired some chicks for the cafe. Why didn't you tell me?! I gotta work my moves." Skull said.

"Focus." Queen knocked him on the head.

"Ow! The hell?!" Skull said.

"I don't think any of them are looking for a relationship Skull. Especially two of em' if you know what I mean." Mona said.

"Uhhh...no?" Skull said.

"Fucking...ughhh…" Mona groaned.

"I'm picking up readings for a will seed nearby. Right behind...whoa.." Oracle stopped in her tracks.

"What is it?" Violet asked.

"A lot of shadows. Be careful." Oracle said.

The team hid behind the corner as Joker and Morgana peaked behind the door. It was a massive prison. Many barely dressed, underfed, beaten, and obviously drugged up women with cattle tags were behind bars, screaming in terror.

"Whoa...this is…" Mona cringed.

"*sigh* The only way forward. With a will seed hidden somewhere in it." Joker sighed.

"I'm glad I didn't screw with Skull too much today how could he fall so far?" Mona asked.

"I'm assuming from the first will seed a lot of things." Joker closed the door and motioned the crew to a nearby safe room.

"So? What are we looking at? Is it bad?" Panther asked.

"You could say that. Not in battle mind you but in...theming." Joker said.

"What do you mean?" Noir asked.

"*sigh* Skull...I'm going to be real with you. Your mirror is really fucked up." Joker said.

"Yeah...I'm going to be real too. I really don't want to find out more of Roman's story." Skull said.

"We have to. Bat-mite wants this badly and we can't lose anymore people." Joker said solemnly.

"I don't think you get it man. You feel everything physically and emotionally. It's hard not to get lost in all that pain. All that crazy." Skull said.

"I believe you. I also believe that Black Mask will kill all of us if we don't do this. Walrus seemed to be close to him, and I know how vengeful you get over loss." Joker said.

"I...I know. How bad is it?" Skull asked.

"He does human trafficking...very...painful and constant abuse." Joker said.

"For real? How could I...he….*sigh* let's get this over with." Skull cocked his new shotgun and left the safe room.

"Are we all going to have to face such trails? I don't know if I could stand such...torment." Violet said.

"Knowing Bat-mite? Yep. Come on, Skull is going to need us to lean on." Joker said.

The gang went through the maze of bars, the deafening screams for mercy did nothing to calm the team. Pleas for help were meant with slaps for the skeleton shadows. Some women couldn't even form proper pleas with their tongues cut out.

Skull was taking the front, eyes filled with rage over the state of all these women. It's clear that Roman gets enjoyment out of all of this. They neared a corner room and opened it. A pile of dead bodies were in there, men and women.

"Traitors deserve to die. You will respect me." Roman said. The monitors flashed on revealing Black Mask with a woman bound and sobbing.

"Please sir. I just want to go home." The woman sobbed.

"You dare run from me? Coward. Let me tell you how running treats you. I used to run, and I was beaten mercilessly for it. You will get the same treatment." Black Mask grabbed an old pipe and started wailing on her.

"NO STOP PLEASE!" The woman begged.

"Begging doesn't work sweetheart. There are no runners on my turf. None." Black Mask's recording cut out as he threw the woman into the camera.

"This is so fucked up." Skull said.

"SKULL?!" Queen was shocked at his use of the curse.

"I can't believe this is happening to us. Why were we chosen anyway? It's not like we're anything special compared to Superman. What does Bat-mite what out of all of us to put us through such hell?" Skull asked.

"Hmph. I wouldn't expect you to figure it out bone head." Bat-mite said, appearing around the corner.

"What do you want? What to kill one of us this time?" Skull growled.

"Don't tempt me. The will seed is right here and I want to see you suffer." Bat-mite smiled.

"Fine. Just get it over with. I'm so done with all of this bullshit." Skull said.

"We aren't even halfway through the second palace. Come on Skull, don't start getting mad before I mess with ya." Bat-mite smirked.

Skull busted in and grabbed the will seed with his mask on it. The room glowed and changed to reflect the coming memory of Roman's early career.

Roman poured gasoline all over the mansion he grew up in. Watching all his dad's work go up in flames sounded so perfect. Speaking of which…

Both his parents struggled in their bindings, they muffled through the duck tape. His mother cried with pleading eyes. He chuckled at that.

"You owe me for this kid. This will be hard to cover up." Falcone said through his walkie talkie.

"Stop yappin' and let me enjoy this. The cash will pay it off greatly. Isn't that right Ma?" Roman pulled the tape off of his mother's mouth and she cried in pain.

"Please don't do this Roman. I'm...I'm sorry for treating you so harshly. It was your father's idea to pay the cops." his mother tried.

"Trying that shit won't work Ma. This is why I'm doing this. You are both so fake, so bottom feeding. You wear masks over your faces to pretend to not be the scum you are." Roman growled.

"Boss, we're about done." Walrus said.

"Nice. Don't worry Ma, I'll take care of the dough real nice." Roman taped her mouth back. He walked over to his father and smiled.

"You know, I have a lot to say about you pops. But why say what I can show." Roman punched the man hard across the face. His chair fell over and he grunted in pain. Roman kicked him multiple times in the stomach.

"HOW! DOES! IT! FEEL!" Roman roared out.

"MMMmmmm!" Roman's father cried out.

"We're done boss." Walrus said.

"Thank you Moe. Got any last words old man?" Roman punched him and ripped the tape off his mouth.

"I should have killed you. You'll never get your hands on that money. You'll never last a fucking minute running the company. The will states to give it to anyone but you. You'll die in the trash that you belong in." Roman's father said.

"I can't wait to hear your screams." Roman growled. He then was handed the will by the Walrus and looked at it.

"I can just forge em'. Who's gonna care?" Roman smiled.

"Roman. I wish you died in Blackgate you're a stain on this world that needs to be wiped clean. You disgust me." Roman's father growled.

"Yeah, yeah. BOYS! We're done here. The payment is anything you found, get out of here before I make s'mores." Roman said. His men rushed out of the mansion.

"ROOMAAAAAAAN! YOU COWARD! FACE ME LIKE A FUCKING MAN YOU PUSSY! I SHOULD HAVE THROWN YOU OUT THE HOSPITAL BUILDING THE MOMENT YOU WERE BORN!" Roman's dad roared. Roman didn't turn back as he walked out with his right hand. Things were only looking up for him, and to celebrate some classic payback.

"Home sweet home." Roman lit a match and threw it at the gas trail leading up to the mansion. The fire spread rapidly all across the mansion. His father's screams of pain were so sweet to hear. He stood there with a content face as the cries died out.

"Boss. We have to get out of here before the firefighters come." Walrus said.

"All that is left is Wayne. Once he shows his ass in town, I'm going to kill him. Self discovery...I'll show him self discovery." Roman grumbled as he and Walrus drove off.

Noone found out who started the fire, the chaos that came after the Sionis deaths was massive. Stocks plummeted, workers got laid off. But Roman didn't care about all of that shit, it was worth it. To imagine his father looking up from hell in disgust, when he was CEO of the company.

Skull stumbled out of the room and vomited violently from what he witnessed. The whole time he just saw his mother's face pleading him not to kill him.

"Skull! Are you ok?!" Panther was fast to comfort him.

"*groan* *spits* Just give me a minute. He burned his parents alive for their money." Skull said.

"Goodness. That's horrid." Noir said.

"Are you going to be ok Skull?" Panther asked.

"Seeing my mom like that...just reminded me why I'm so pissed off. Let's keep going. This bastard needs to go down." Skull got up and continued to walk.

Joker and the rest followed him as he vented a bit on some shadows, the rage was starting to eat at Skull. But just because he was pissed doesn't mean we will be corrupted so damn easily.

The Broker's Office, The Bowery

Akechi growled as he fiddled with his disguise. Apparently he would play King Tut. He supposed it made sense, no one else would do it aside from Akira….well do it well. The disguise was a black cat mask made of plastic and fake fur. Egyptian style jewelry was all around his body and his neck to cement him as rich. His eyes were contacted to make them seem yellow. He was supposed to resemble an Anubis creature. His long ears reflected that, with three rings adorning each one. His whole body was dressed in a fursuit that clung tightly to him. A robe around the waist was his only clothing. He also had a golden staff for a weapon, but hid his gun just in case. He wore a heavy pharaoh's helmet to complete the look.

"I feel ridiculous." Akechi whispered to his counterpart.

"Every villain starts that way. Stay in character." White whispered back. Her new code name would be Cleopatra. Her long hair dyed black like Jania's but heavily braided with jewels to fit the part. Her mask was replaced with a replica of Noirs's showing more but not much of her face. Her eyelids were painted blue with the black egyptian style eyeliner. She wore a very revealing robe that showed off her legs and breasts. Wanting to draw away from her actual theming. She wore heavy black lipstick instead of her usual pink. She wore green eyed contacts to complete the look.

"Thank you for agreeing to meet with us Broker. It pleases my lord greatly to be able to talk business with you." White said in a British accent. She was too pale in comparison to her indian counterpart to pull an exotic woman look, so instead she weht for the English.

"The pleasure is all mine. I always welcome new customers to Gotham. With the turf war going on it'll be easy pickings for you. Have a lot of properties for sale for you to look at." The Broker smiled politely, fixing his dark shades.

"Yes. We especially like the casino. We were thinking of retheming it for our own uses." White said.

"An excellent choice my dear. But I fear the police presence is too hot right now. You and everyone else will have to wait it out." Broker said.

"Shame. Can we put it on hold then?" White asked.

"Of course. The concept of Thief's honor is one I hold strictly. A monthly payment and I have some men guard it for you for a ltime. Paying off the police will help to. Which do you prefer?" Broker asked.

"Both we have the means for it. And I want the casino. What else do you have that's available now though?" White asked.

"Well by Merchant Bridge we have boat storage and hideout potential. I must warn you of Croc though. He guards the sewers as his territory, he would eat any men to trek too far into the sears there." Broker said.

"We'll take it. What else?" White asked.

"The church in Park Row has been abandoned after the Joker attack. It's small but sustainable. There is another in Drescher as well." Broker said.

"Good, put on the tab. And?" White pressed.

Broker sighed.

"My dear help me. Just what do you need? You must be more specific so I can help you." Broker said.

"We need gun and drug storage. A couple of legitimate setups all around to mask hideout use." Akechi said.

"Ah… Well there are multiple abandoned buildings in Burnley and Diamond District that could be of service. The mall in Otisburg has a massive basement that's been closed off for a while after the company running the lot went bankrupt. Open some shops there and profit." Broker said.

"That will work better than the casino. But still put us on hold for it. We'll take it." White said.

"Excellent. I'll work on the papers for you. I hope your work in Gotham will be a long one." Broker said.

"Thank you. May Ra bless you on this day." Akechi bowed.

"We need men also. Send out a message on the streets for hiring at the mall." White siad.

"Oh, of course. There are a lot more stragglers than usual due to last night's mayhem. Plenty should show looking for work." Broker said.

"Thank you so much. Your reputation speaks too little of you." White smiled.

"My pleasure. You should be able to have the gathering tomorrow. Good luck out there." Broker said.

Black Mask's Palace

The gang made it past the maze of beaten and broken women. Skull had calmed down a lot in the past hour of beating shadows. Mona and Oracle agreed that there wasn't much left of the palace.

"Hey, what is that?" Violet asked.

The team looked to where she was pointing and found a giant hammer that electricity and fire coursed through. The intricate design spoke of itself. It was held behind glass that was locked tight.

"This baby is mine. Only pull it out for special occasions, I call it Bone Breaker. Cause it beats the shit out of anyone that annoys me." Black Mask said.

"I can probably hack it open. You want it Skull?" Oracle asked.

"Can't hurt trying it out." Skull smiled.

Shadows surrounded the casing. Before they could attack Skull blasted the glass into shards and picked up the mallet.

"IDIOTS KILL THEM!" Black Mask roared.

Skull smirked and hit the ground with the hammer, all of the shadows were burned and electricted at the same time, disappearing as quickly as they appeared.

"Nice. Roman I think I'll take this." Skull said.

"This isn't over kid. You will die before you can put it to any use." Black Mask said.

"You're going down man. All this bullshit is over." Skull said.

"Yeah right. I'm not afraid of some petty thieves. Sooner or later something has got to give. And I for one am not backing down." Black Mask signed off.

Constantine's hideout, somewhere in England.

Constantine was currently drowning himself in alcohol to numb the pain he felt. He couldn't sleep, he couldn't bring himself to eat. All that was left was his poisons, got up and stumbled forward for another drink. He tripped and banged his head on the table.

"Fuckin' hell." Constantine seethed.

"It seems you have had enough Sorcerer." A Velvet Room door appeared in his room, and out stepped Lavenza.

"Oi, What the fuck do you want? Payback for last night?...I'll fuckin' kick your ass lassie." Constantine slurred.

"I hold no ill will against you. Knocking me out during your visit was quite rude though." Lavenza said.

"So what are you here to comfort me? Piss off." Constantine said.

"No. I recognize that this is how you grieve your loved ones. May I partake?" Lavenza asked.

"Aren't ya a little young to be drinking love?" Constantine snickered drunkenly.

"I recall mentioning I have lived millenia. My family has always said alcohol is great in moderation. Elizabeth had some problems with that however." Lavenza said as she took a glass for a delicate sip. She cringed at the taste and potency, it's a wonder Constantine hasn't died to alcohol poisoning.

"Suit yourself...but don't expect me to suddenly gush out all my shit to ya." Constantine said.

Silence filled the room as the two great mages had a drink together. Constantine guzzling it down while Lavenza was still on her first bottle. The resolve in Constantine broke as the sheer amount of alcohol finally got to him.

"We…*sniff* I... was going to propose." Constantine began as a tear ran down his face.

"Oh? I am most sorry to hear that." Lavenza said sincerely.

"We always had fights….over one thing or another...but she was good to me…" Constantine said.

"Your bond with her must have been great to have swayed your heart Sorcerer. I would have loved to meet her." Lavenza said.

"Yeah...a shining diamond in the pits of hell. I...I don't know how to move on." Constantine said, starting to sob softly.

Lavenza walked over to the man and gently took his hand, trying to comfort him.

"I know how it feels to have loss. How it feels to be split in two and have no idea how to continue. Do you know what helped me?" Lavenza asked softly.

"What?" Constantine asked.

"Fighting. Fighting for their name, fighting for the memories and time they have given. To forever hold them dear and let it strengthen your resolve." Lavenza said.

"I...I get it. You want me to forget all about it and work for ya huh? Like fuckin' Batman strong arming me into your case!" Constantine growled snatching his hand away from the attendant.

"You misunderstand Sorcerer. I merely came to her out of respect and empathy. You have already formed a pact of vengeance with my Trickster. For the loss of your love and his loss many of his allies. I would never do such a thing. The wounds are still fresh and you need time to heal." Lavenza said.

"You...really mean that?" Constantine asked.

"Why wouldn't I?" Lavenza asked.

"The League always pushed me forward when it came to shit like this. Against my will at times. Only...Zatanna would be gentle about it." Constantine said.

"Pushing you now would be cruel. My Trickster and the rest of the team need time to grieve also, they just have a more...violent approach to it all. Like I said fighting because of our loss aids in mending the wounds." Lavenza smiled, worried.

"Just...give me a few days. I need to process all of this." Constantine said.

"Take all the time you need, Sorcerer. And when you pick yourself up know that the Phantom Thieves will aid you in our quest. Bat-mite must die for his transgressions, and I know with your will by our side, we will take him down together." Lavenza said, starting to take her leave.

"Thank you...I like the sound of that." Constantine said.

Black Mask's Palace

The gang was making their way up to the penthouse of the palace. Shadows were everywhere, and there seemed to be less and less hiding places.

"We're nearing a will seed gang. Slay these noobs and let's get it." Oracle said.

"We have to be close to the end by now. There can't be that many floors left." Mona said.

"HALT SCALLYWAGS!" A voice boomed

"Huh? Who's this man?" Fox asked.

"I BE DAVY JONES AND I WON'T LET YAS TAKE WHAT'S IN ME LOCKER!" A shadow attacked them.

"Whoa this guy is powerful watch out!" Oracle said.

"Let us end this quickly. SATANAEL!" Joker blasted a massive curse spell on Jones. No effect was done.

"It blocks curses. Violet, try the opposite!" Queen shouted.

Violet nodded and blessed an equally powerful curse attack.

"ARRRRRRR! SUCH POWER!" Davey was downed.

"Get him!" Mona, Violet, Skull, and Joker went for the all out attack.

"AHH! NOT BAD LADS. HAVE A TASTE OF THIS!" Davy let out massive curse spells at the party, Violet managed to dodge her weakness. Mona and Skull weren't so lucky.

"Shit! BLAST HIM AWAY WILLIAM!" Skull blasted a great physical attack doing a good amount of damage on the shadow.

"I'll make you regret messing with us!" Mona unleashed whirlwinds upon the shadow, doing a fair amount of damage.

Joker summoned a bless attack persona. And downed it.

"THIS IS IT!" Skull shouted as they all attacked it again.

"ARRRRRRRR!" The shadow disappeared as it was done in. A wall opened up to a will seed door.

"Good work everyone. Last will seed found. You ready Skull?" Mona asked.

"If it means destroying this place, yeah." Skull walked in ready to face his own corruption.

"Ah, seems you're quite eager huh?" Bat-mite appeared.

"Let's just get it over with. Nothing can be worse than what I've already seen." Skull said.

"Are you sure about that?" Bat-mite grinned wickedly.

Skull grabbed the last will seed resolve absolute. The room changed to the last memory.

NANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANA

Roman dug up his father's grave. It has been a few years since he killed him and Gotham has only gotten more violent. Everyone in his gang was scared of this new urban myth going around. That a "bat man" was beaten up by crooks gruesomely and left them on the front porch of the GCPD. He scoffed at first at the stupid idea. That was before he saw it for himself, a lunatic that hid in the shadows. Able to take down a whole room of his men, he managed to escape before he could finish. He had to do something drastic to earn back the fear he instilled in his men.

"You sure about this boss?" Walrus asked.

"You got to fight a legend with a legend. BOYS SPREAD THE WORD!" Roman roared at the other goons. As he reached the old black coffin that his father laid in he smirked.

"When you fear a mask, you have to wear one yourself." Roman crowbarred the coffin open. He broke off a good chunk of the doof his use, he threw it at one of his goons.

"Make a skull mask out of it. NOW!" Roman demanded.

The goon jumped to work, thinking his boss had gone crazy.

Roman looked back down at his father's charred and decomposing corpse, worms and maggots were eating at what was left of him. He unzipped his pants and urinated right on the corpse's face.

"The Batman wants crazy! I give him fucking crazy!" Roman said.

NANANANANANANANANANANANANA

The next time Batman encountered Roman he had a new name. Black Mask… The chemical plant they fought at showed how much of an unstable man he had become.

"DIE DIE DIE!" Black Mask unloaded his machine gun, Batman dogged him all and kicked him square across the face. Roman hit an acid container face first.

"AHHHHH ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGG!" Roman screamed in pain as the acid melted his skin to the mask. His face was forever ruined that day. Batman would later regret the action, that was back when he was much more gruesome to spread a message. And the action would unleash even more of Black Mask's rage.

Everyone would fear him, everyone would respect him. He would rule the city with gangs, violence, and money. Being the thug he was always called.

"Yeah...yeah. At least all we have left is to find the treasure." Skull said.

"Should be nearby. Let's complete this place." Oracle said.

The Thieves arrived at a massive stack of cash, drugs, and bodies. In the middle of it all was a black coffin with no one in it but the treasure's distortion.

"Looks like we have our infiltration route you guys. Good work." Mona said.

Merchant Bridge, Sewers

White Rabbit and Crow wore their usual attire as they trekked the great sewers of Gotham. It was rather disgusting dealing with all the sludge. But what rattled Crow more than he would ever admit were all the bones scattered throughout the tunnels.

"Calm yourself Crow. I told you Croc had an appetite to appease. That's what the peace offering is for." White said.

"I suppose that's true. I hope you have a plan for it if it doesn't quite fill his stomach." Crow said.

"I've seen him eat before. What we have brought to the entrance is more than enough." White said.

"And if he kills us and takes the food?" Crow asked, darkly.

"He'd be ruining his chance at a constant feed." White smirked.

Growls and flickers in the few lights in the sewers didn't paint a good picture. The blood spread all across the walls spoke of chaos and murder. Killer Croc stomped up to them, the sewers shaking with his might. His yellow slitted eyes narrowed at the intruders on his land.

"That scent….White Rabbit was it?" Croc snarled.

"You have guessed correctly. Hello Mr. Jones." White said politely.

"What do you want bitch? Leave before I eat you. You're lucky I have just feasted." Croc hissed.

"Me and my associate have come to discuss a pact. We need access to your sewers. In return we offer food and shelter that doesn't involve human feces." White said.

"You want me as a pet huh? You humans are all the same, begging, pleading for me to help you. And once you're done you throw me away like the freak you see me as. No…" Croc growled.

"This is a long term pact Mr. Jones. You may stay here if you wish, and if you don't want to be bothered that can also be given. You don't have to help us, just allow passage for a fee." Crow said.

"And who are you boy? Such fresh blood in my sewers is a rarity. I might save you for later." Croc said.

"No eating my associates or the deals off. I'm assuming you want proof of our pact?" White asked.

Croc stood for a few minutes thinking it over, he had nothing to lose if the pact was true. If it wasn't and was a trap he would just kill them and stomp on their bones.

"I will humor you for this proof. But know this, if you trick me in anyway I will eat you." Croc growled.

The two led the gigantic man to the entrance they came in. There was a giant pile of fresh meat waiting for him. It was stored in a giant cooler so to keep it fresh for the coming weeks.

"What do you say Mr. Jones?" White asked.

"I will honor this pact if you keep bringing me this every week. In return I will not eat your men when they pass my lair. If they enter my sleeping space I make no promises over whether or not they die." Croc said.

"A fair deal. I will see it through. Let's shake on it." Crow said, holding out his hand.

Croc scoffed and his giant hand dwarfed Crows in a light shake. It was like shaking a baby's hand to him.

"I heard news of the Phantom Thieves. I wonder why they would form a pact with me?" Croc asked Croc.

"Like you I hate being bothered when I work. Don't kill my men, but feel free to kill any other intruders. I'll do the same." Crow said.

"I see. Do what you want. Just give me my fresh meat." Croc picked up the giant cooler, carrying it under his left arm and went back into the sewers.

"That went well. Just make sure not to anger him in any way." White said.

"We have much more to do. Come." Crow said.

Severe Thunderstorms

Park Row, Anarky Courthouse.

Jackson Hyde raised his hand up as he pledged loyalty to Anarky. He had earned his mask for volunteering in everything the younger man asked for. Being an initiate was a good start to his first day undercover. He rose as the ceremony ended. Anarky put a hand on his shoulder.

"I expect great things from you comrade." Anarky said.

"Thank you sir." Hyde said.

Just then another member rushed into the room, and up to Anarky. He whispered in his ear and he nodded. Hyde sweated slightly at this, but kept his cool.

"Very well. Send him in." Anarky said.

In came Joker and Crow. Crow stood back as Joker shook Anarky's hand.

"Sorry to barge in. But I have a favor to ask of you." Joker said.

Hyde watched the interaction standing at attention. Dick was right on the money for being suspicious of the Phantom Thieves not taking Anarky down. The black teen smirked inside at the revelation, now to get in with them.

"Whatever it is. After last night, anything." Anarky smirked.

"I need a place to hide someone for the night. I also need the place to be able to broadcast messages." Joker said.

"Oh? Who is this someone?" Anarky asked.

Joker nodded at Crow and he called his burner.

Fox and Skull walked through with a man with a bag over his head.

"I wanted to make sure he didn't know your hideout location." Joker said.

"I appreciate the sentiment. Just what are you planning?" Anarky asked.

"Black Mask goes down tomorrow." Joker smirked.

Hyde raised his eyebrows behind his mask when he heard that. They sure did move quickly and efficiently as Dick said. He would wait for when he wasn't surrounded by enemies to call his allies.

"Black Mask? Hmhmhm. Excellent. That will shake up Gotham for sure. But what does that man there have to do with it?" Anarky asked.

Fox pulled the bag off to reveal Ryder. He smirked at Anarky, the Thieves contacted him and said they had to fake a kidnapping to make him untrackable. But they promised to aid him further in his reporting in Gotham.

"How's it going?" Ryder asked.

"My...so you are working with Ryder. Should have known when he had that list." Anarky said.

"The Phantom Thieves have been a good associate to have. With all the bullshit in the media right now this is my only way to get the truth out. I won't be silenced and left for dead." Ryder said.

"Hyde, Johnson? I'll have you escort our allies to a secret place for them to record. A place no one knows about but our group.

"Yes sir." Both of them said.

Hyde was about to get an inside look on how the Phantom Thieves operate.

NANANANANANANANANANANANANANA

The gang set up the spot as Ryder went over the notes given to him. The lights were set, the desk pristine, the background green for Fox to add color to later.

Panther walked over to the two Anarky members and offered them coffee.

"Sure. Thank you ma'am." Hyde said.

"Oh wow, now it's said to me I get why Selina hated it. Just call me Panther ok?" Panther smiled.

"Alright, you seem...different from the rest of the team. Not that that's a bad thing." Hyde said.

"Oh...yeah~! I bet the guys barging in like that sends a bad message. We really aren't thugs or anything." Panther chirped.

"Here. Take a break, we are about done anyway." Noir said.

"I could get used to this." Johnson said.

"White is offering work all around. You're welcome to join our little show. But I don't want you to betray Anarky or anything." Panther said.

"White Rabbit? I heard she worked for you but couldn't quite believe it." Hyde said.

"Oh yeah. She's been a great help all around with what we are trying to do. She tries to act all mysterious but inside I know she's just a softie. Especially with Crow." Panther gossiped.

"PANTHER! Stop messing around and work." Crow growled.

"Yeah, yeah." Panther walked away.

Hyde cursed in his mind. This Panther was a talker to be sure, and more information was needed. He didn't call for backup to stop this, because he knew doing so would compromise him. He simply let the thieves do their work and chatter.

NANANANANANANANANANANANANANA

The recording was done. Oracle said she was already ready to hack into broadcasts. They thanked the two for their help and waved them off.

"This is only for tonight Ryder. We have other places waiting to be ready. It's just a matter of waiting" Crow said.

"Oh~ where? Do I finally get my own place?" Panther asked.

"Yeah man...I'm tired of Fox's snoring." Skull groaned.

"I'll stand guard here. You are tiring me with your snoring as well." Fox said.

"Good idea. Don't talk about anything or change. This place might be bugged." Joker said.

"If that's the case we should take shifts and break everything down that we used. Hopefully the new places will accommodate us in this manner." Queen said.

"They will. Rest up, I'll take the first shift." White said.

"No way in hell after that stunt a few days back." Crow growled.

"We can do it together then." White groaned.

The thieves got ready for the next day, knowing Black Mask was going down.

NANANANANANANANNANANANANA

"Nightwing, come in." Hyde whispered in his temporary apartment.

"What is it Aqualad?" Dick asked.

"The Phantom Thieves strike tomorrow. Black Mask." Hyde whispered.

"Anarky is with them then?" Dick asked.

"He seems to have some hand in the events that happened yesterday." Hyde said.

"We look everywhere for them. And catch them." Dick said.

"No. I overheard talk of other hideouts. This was a one time thing. I will be compromised if we engage. They offered work, I'll try to get in." Hyde said.

"Ok. I'll tell Batman the news. Good work." Dick said.
