AN: Hey Hey! I'm back because this is all that prevents me dying of boredom. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these trying times. But speaking from experience, I can't stand when people drag stuff out with mushy stuff. I love all of you losers but I must continue this obsession of mine. You all have been wondering who the Emperor mirror is going to be...I'll never tell~.
This chapter will be a bit different. Less focus on the PTs and more on Gotham and it's inner sins...in other words I'm setting up more bad guys this chapter.
FEEDBACK:
Calderoneric758: OHHH~~ Gilgamesh huh? That's way better than what I had planned for a 4th tier persona. Thanks so much for the suggestion friend 3
Docron: Thanks for enjoying the fic so much friend, there is going to be a minor interlude to set up some stuff like warriors and all that~ Another Mirror is on the horizon trust me.
Fireem78910: Well not all of them… It's more of finding the right fit than anything. I figured Ares would be a fun addition.
Guest: cool friend thx 3
Guest: Lawton is already a confidant. It's just a matter of ranking him up.
Bananarock509: Good questions. Hmmm...I might have to set up Mona's mirror a bit more...for drama's sake. Yeah I thought about doing them in order would be a fun way to do things. So um I guess Ann would have to be before the Vain mirror. Oh you already know Wonder Woman is going to be floored when she finds out.
Guest: It will happen friend but first they must gather their troops~ I must admit the idea of Showtime attacks on the JL is funny to me too, I'll have to put in more battles~.
Guest: Hehehehe I never said I'd write Batman as a good father. The Phantom Thieves are getting to him in ways he can't understand, know it or not the palace is forming...and unlike PT Joker Batman pushes his bonds away when he is challenged.
ColossaltheOmega: You are right...I need to introduce more challenges and make villains act because of the PTs and create the cycle of evil...Thanks as always for your suggestions, I didn't know about the Joker War arc either as I too haven't looked at the comics for a while. The reason I made Batman act like that was to allude to his palace forming. I remember how the game handled Sae in terms of her being a good person with a good moral code being pushed and pushed into a corner until she only had one option...to cheat. I want something similar with Bruce and his palace...For his control and mind to slowly slip from his grasp. I will do a better job when it comes to that. It was kind of out of nowhere. I heard of The Batman who laughs too...I guess it's kind of like that just more...grounded. Thanks as always for your feedback friend. 3.
Drakon45: Sorry you feel that way friend. I'll do my best to keep it all fresh but I can not just finish this off right now...not when I already have planned so much for it.
WARNING: Y'all know the drill by now. I'm not going soft anytime soon. Graphic violence, gore, mention/act of rape, sexual situation/ straight up lemons, mention/use of drugs, character death, and Bat-mite. The Dark Knight deserves a dark story. Please avert your eyes from the following if you are sensitive to any of the above.
I don't own Batman, Justice League, Persona, or Nekopara
Enjoy~

Wayne Tower
Dick rode up the elevator calmly, bad news was normal and expected when it came to Gotham, he figured his weekly report should come early to Bruce up close and personal.
"Dick glad to see you again." Bruce said as the ex-Robin walked in.
"The pleasure is all mine pops, I have news though regarding something private." Dick said.
Bruce put up the barricades as per usual expecting some big news.
Dick walked up to him and punched him in the face.
"Ehh..What was that for?" Bruce asked calmly.
"For beaten up Damian in a glorified dick measuring competition. The fuck was that Bruce, I could barely find out about it so and Joker didn't lay a hande on him dring his dumb assualt on him. How did you think that was the best way to teach him his wrongs?" Dick growled.
"It was the only way, I-*grunts* are you going to let me finish?" Bruce said as he blocked another attack.
"Not when I know it's bullshit. Now Damian is back to square one with trusting anyone, he's barely said a word the past 24 hours. I should have known something was up when I saw the marks. The fuck were you thinking?" Dick hissed.
"I was thinking he was being a liability to the mission that- FUCKING LET ME TALK!" Bruce raged as Dick let on a violet assault that he managed to deflect.
"Why? You didn't talk with Damian the way you should. The way a proper father should." Dick hissed.
"You know how stubborn he is! I did the- Goddammit!" Bruce blocked a kick from Dick.
"I need you to think very carefully about what you're saying Bruce. You and I both know that what you did was uncalled for, over punishment, and far out of character for you to do. What is wrong?" Dick pressed.
"I'm not making any progress anywhere with any of this. This mission is" Dick kicked before he could finish.
"We have been in operation for only a week, you think something is going to fall out of the sky?" Dick challenged.
"No...that's not the problem. The problem is...I know it's only going to get worse." Bruce said.
"Ok...go on.." Dick said suspiciously.
"With new opponents in the Rogues Gallery I know there has to be adaption. I know plans are being rearranged and reinforced due to all of this. The original Joker, Penguin and his turf war..The riddler and that weird creature flying around the city. The appearance of King Tut...I know Bane is out there somewhere trying to plot something and... I know Anarky has more in store than just letting the Phantom Thieves do what they do. They may not know Ra's but...what if he recruits them? All of this has been eating at me…" Bruce said.
"That's no excuse to take out your frustrations on a fucking child Bruce. You should have just told us all of this instead being your usual aloof. We already know King Tut is a standard Black Mask level threat based on the plans we've heard. The rest of this stuff can be contained easily if you just let us help." Dick said.
"I'll apologize to Damian...to you...but I can't let you help anymore than you are. The entire fear of the Batman is slowly being shifted over to the Thieves...I can't let the city underestimate the myth, the fear...or they will wreak havoc on the entire populace." Bruce said, wiping the blood of his nose.
"*scoff* This again...like it's such a hindrance to rely on people. You're just scared of true comrades and push people away when they challenge you. I won't let that happen, not with this." Dick said resolutely. He turned to the door and looked over his shoulder.
"Make things right with your son Bruce. And next time you have to release your anger and complaints on someone...call me...I'll set your ass straight easily like the night I left." Dick made his leave, leaving Bruce to feel the guilt eat at his conscience that was forcing him to reconsider his methods.
"The war must be won...at any cost! The ones who defy your orders are just traitors!" A voice deep in his subcoonius rang.
Bruce shook his head and sighed, what has gotten into him to make him treat his son like that...He had to make things right.

Kori posed dramatically along with her new found partner. The two of them both draw everyone's eyes in their beauty. It was rare for someone to be able to even compete with her, but she loved competition and the girl was such a good sport about it.
"That was great Kori! It's been a while since I had such a strong and beautiful woman to compete with." Ann complimented.
"Oh~ Thank you. I feel the same way." Kori smiled.
"It's like… I don't know how to describe it but it feels good." Ann tried.
"*giggle* I don't quite understand what you mean but we must do this more often." Kori said.
"Yeah! We should totally meet outside of work too! I would love to get advice from you~! And I just have to show you the new crepe place in town~!" Ann chirped.
"I never heard of this "crepe" you speak of." Kori tilted her head to the side in confusion.
"FOR REAL?! I know you're from out of the country but….To hear you say such a sad thing...like it's...horrible." Ann said dramatically.
Kori sweated, this girl definitely matched her energy in life. Like a sister lost for years showing that has finally been found. It was odd but a glorious feeling. The thought was interrupted by Ann grabbing her hand and pulling her.
"This will not stand. Ya just gotta try them! No friend of mine will be seen without a crepe in hand." Ann said seriously.
"Oh...Of-of course…" Kori looked down at her hand in question. Ann was quite strong despite her slim figure. Kori pushed it aside...she must be honed in some martial art for protection or something of the like. A beautiful girl in Gotham needed something to protect herself should they be found alone at night after all.
Ann smiled as she dragged her new friend, she needed an escape from all of the drama going on with their situation, everyone has been kind and supportive as they usually are...but she just needed some sort of life outside of all of it. A chance to vent to others with an outside perspective.
Because as much as she tried to deny it, Selina's betrayal hit her hard, she thought she was a friend. MAybe that was her mistake, but she felt something like Kori's closeness come from her. A spark she thought Selina would have no problem igniting. Instead she turned her back on them for seemingly no reason at least to her. Akechi said it was because of her lack of belief in their resolve but she felt it was more than that...She needed to find her and talk to her, because while it might be dangerous, something in her soul felt the need to help her.

Velvet Room
Makoto was slammed against the wall as Ares laughed at her current state. Yusuke tried to evade but was no match to the god of war. The sword attack was deflected and returned with double the damage.
"Unbelievable…" Yusuke clenched his stomach.
"*Chuckles* I have seen children half your age move faster boy. Come...don't hold back." Ares smirked as he stared down the two smugly.
Makoto punched the ground in anger, leaving a small crater. The challenge was not to use their personas but rather hone their normal bodies to the max.
"I'm not done yet!" Makoto rushed Ares with her martial arts skills, Ares blocked all of her blows and returned a few in turn...weakening her greatly.
"Makoto! I'll cut you to pieces…" Yusuke hissed.
"Your sword holds great power, my boy...A shame you don't know how to properly wield it." Ares summoned his sword to his hand, with an axe in another.
Yusuke pulled a quick and efficient attack, slashing ruthlessly and efficiently.
"USELESS!" Ares yelled as he parried all the attacks and thrusted his mighty axe, missing Yusuke by mere inches.
The giant axe cut into the floor of the room, needing great strength to be pulled out.
Makoto used Yusuke's back as a springboard, jumping off and hoping to catch Ares off guard. She pulled back her fist in the air, eyes glaring red, a blue hue overtaking her fist.
Ares jumped up to...kicking her in the stomach before she could land a blow and grabbing her leg, slamming her into the floor.
"UGGGHHH!" Makoto moaned in pain as the force sent pain all over her body, defeating her.
Yusuke went for the back, slashing multiple times while Ares was distracted. Ares noticed and shot a curse attack with his fingers, nullifying Yusuke's attack with pain, both challengers were on the floor heaving and panting.
"Enough Ares. You'll kill them with anymore." Lavenza stepped between the god and her two friends, ending the duel.
"Hmph...fine I've seen enough anyway." Ares huffed as Lavenza tended to the two's wounds.
"Hmmm...Sometimes I forget how much we rely on Akira's power and on our personas." Yusuke groaned as he was healed.
"Yes..It is clear we need to get stronger." Makoto agreed.
"For children you show an ounce of promise. This battle was very enlightening. I will give you criticism on your battle." Ares pointed his sword at Makoto, dangerously close to the neck.
"I am told you are the Trickster's adviser and strategist. You fought hard, but must learn better tactics and improvisation. You only master of one martial art...it will not be enough. The Bat-clan is built upon their mastery of all arts of violence, to challenge them you too must learn multiple styles." Ares said, critically.
"Y-yes...I'm aware.." Makoto said, defeated.
"AND ENOUGH OF THAT DOUBT! I sense it in you girl. The hesitation, the need for thought instead of action. You must learn to be better on your feet. Do not stutter your words. You are a warrior...act like it." Ares growled.
"U-Understood." Makoto sweated.
"What was that?" Ares poked the blade slightly, drawing blood, Makoto's eyes raged glowing in her power.
"UNDERSTOOD SIR!" Makoto yelled.
"That's better, you...boy...You are quick on your feet and calm in battle. But it's clear you know less of the arts than the girl. You must work on your countering with that blade. Prove you are worthy of such a powerful sword." Ares said.
"I understand. Thank you sensei." Yusuke bowed.
"You have honor… and you have great strength...but it's clear you prefer agility in battle. You must hone it if you wish to be better." Ares said.
"I will. Thank you." Yusuke said.
"Just remember...both of you...that not every foe is bound by such honor. They will tear you to shreds if given the chance. Dismissed." Ares said.
The two picked themselves up and left with their assignments. Lavenza watched them with a worried face.
"For a guide you show too little faith in your wards." Ares said not looking at her.
"The Thieves work better as a unit. Separating them from the bonds that they fight with doesn't stand well in my soul." Lavenza said.
"They must learn independence from the team if they are to be great." Ares said.
"I know...but I can't help but worry. I have the utmost faith in them. But...maybe it's just how close our bonds are. Perhaps I worry because I allowed myself to get closer than I should. Just like all the other attendees before me. I...love them...and I can't stand seeing them struggle like this." Lavenza said.
"A bird must fly from the nest. The bonds are still intact, they just need to work on themselves. To learn to fight mercilessly, one to a hundred, to the last breath." Ares said.
"Mmm…" Lavenza nodded hesitantly.
"Do not go soft on your wards. Never...that's the worst thing you could do in these times." Ares walked away, leaving Lavenza alone to her thoughts.
She gave all the faith she had in her heart to them. But...even though she knows they will win...she wonders at what cost to their ruined lives.

"Dude...this is the worst. I thought working at the arcade would be...I don't know...exciting." Garfield sighed.
"For real...It's not that bad though...at least they offer free pizza...sometimes...ok never…" Ryuji tried.
"Their pizza sucks anyway. You've been here longer than me, are there any good places with vegan options?" Garfield asked.
"You're a vegan?" Ryuji asked.
"What's wrong with that?" Garfield asked.
"N-nothing. It's just you didn't give off that aura I guess" Ryuji tried.
"I'm just not preachy about it. You wanna eat meat I just have to look out the window as I eat tofu." Garfield said.
"In that case wanna get out of here and get some good food? I know some places that offer options." Ryuji said.
"Sure dude...anything to stomp this boredom." Garfield smiled.
The two irresponsible teens blew off work in favor of good food and conversation.

Haru was walking around the streets of her quadrant taking in the sights and enjoying her brief break for all the troubles that came with her lifestyle. Seeing as the deadline was met Akira told everyone to take it rather easy, but to keep an ear open. A nice gesture she supposed, but she didn't really want it or need it. While on the outside she was her always sweet and positive self, deep inside her soul roared for destruction of anything that even related to Bat-mite and his goals. She always set aside her struggles for others even in the wake of confronting Sugimura and even her father's death. She did it here too, it was just her way of grieving for all of those lost.
She shook her head from all of the dark thoughts and depression. It was best to stay calm, positive, and most of all understanding with all the darkness and sin that surrounded her. She already had her private cry for all those lost in the tower, even Sugimura she hoped rested in peace. She held no real ill will for him, it was clear that he was under control. The sheer amount of black blood she saw was proof of that.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a commotion. A group of police officers blocking an alleyway for an investigation.
She walked up to an officer and politely got their attention.
"Excuse me...what is going on here?" She asked the female officer.
"A murder...pretty violent one too, please back away we are currently looking for evidence." The officer said.
Haru backed away but stood close enough to hear some conversation.
"It's no good sir. No fingerprints on the weapon. This clearly is a new guy...with a weird thing for clay." An officer said.
"Keep looking. This poor lady deserves justice." the detective said.
"It's weird sir...it reminds me of a movie scene...That's it 'The Terror'! That's what it was!" An officer said.
"Hmm...you're right. Aside from the clay it matches that murder perfectly. May be a fanboy looking to stop the release of the remake." The detective said.
"And the clay?" an officer asked.
"It's just a theory son. Clearly we need more to pinpoint the killer. Keep looking for possible clues and suspects. Ask all neighbors in the district." The detective said.
"Oh my…" Haru gasped and walked away with new information to give for her report.

Alfred pulled the limo up for Damian, Damian scoffed at the gesture. He preferred to walk home rather than hear the butler say all his life lessons. But part of him wanted to be obliged, so he got in the limousine to see his father.
"Damian." Bruce greeted.
"Father? What is the meaning of this?" Damaian growled.
"We need to talk...properly." Bruce said.
That got Damian's attention. He got curious about his father's sudden look. He never did anything like this before, so it must be important.
"What do you mean?" Damian asked.
"About two nights ago. It was uncalled for. I'm sorry." Bruce said seriously.
"Sorry? What for? You made your point quite clear in my eyes. I challenged you and you beat me. Just be glad I went easy on you." Damian said.
"That's the problem Damian. I, instead of talking through our problems like a proper parent, beat you into submission. That's child abuse Damian, I should have never stooped that low." Bruce said.
"Hmm? What of our sparring then?" Damian asked.
"That's different." Bruce said.
"How?" Damian asked. Bruce sighed.
"The fact you don't know the difference is very concerning. From now on, instead of fighting for dominance we talk out our problems like real men. The pen is mightier than the sword." Bruce said.
"Grandfather never would be so lenient." Damian challenged.
"I'm not Ra's, Damian. I must train your morals as well as our body. I was a fool to not remember that. It's the very reason I sent you to the Titans in the first place." Bruce explained.
"There is nothing I can learn from that group of utter amateurs." Damian hissed.
"There is. You must learn empathy. I had to go through the same trails when I was young. The trail of instead of looking down and all the thugs and villainy of the world, you must get an understanding of how they got to that point. To walk a mile in their shoes." Bruce said.
"That's ridiculous. Scum are scum just to be scum." Damian said resolutely.
"No Damian you must see past that anger. I want you to think hard and critically like I know you can. Let's take the Phantom Thieves for example. Why do you think they do what they do?" Bruce asked.
"They seek to destroy us. To uproot the very foundation of the Bat-clan name." Damian said, sure of himself.
"That is true. But for what reason?" Bruce asked.
"Don't tell me you actually believe the lies they spew out of their mouths father." Damian said.
"I do. They said it before. Why would they lie about such details?" Bruce said.
"To fool us into empathy. I will not fall for such trickery." Damian said.
"You must forget the very foundation of observation. To learn your enemy you must look into their eyes at all costs. Eyes are the connection to the soul. It's why we cover ours with the white contacts. Clear would work just as fine with the Wayne technology." Bruce explained.
"Lies! It must be a lie." Damian yelled.
"My son...You anger because you know I speak the truth. You spoke first hand with Joker. Magic or no, what did you feel when you peered into his eyes?" Bruce asked.
"It had to have been a spell of some sort, father. I won't stand for this!" Damian said.
"Answer me." Bruce said sternly.
"I saw…*sigh* I saw the truth in his words. A broken man with an indomitable will and resolve in his beliefs. He is confident in his resolve so see no need to hide his words or intentions. His eyes...beg us to stop so he can see his justice through." Damian said, defeated.
"Very good, Damian. I knew you would see it that way." Bruce smiled.
"But...that just makes us hesitate father. All that matters is that we must defeat them." Damian said.
"No...That's a trap I've fallen into too many times. The trap of seeing things in only black and white. Us vs them. We must stop them soon, but in the meantime remember this lesson. The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Bruce said.
"YOU SEEK TO BEFRIEND THIEVES?!" Damian roared.
"Like with Selina for example. With her intel I let her escape with minor heists and thievery. You must make some sacrifices in the pursuit of justice." Bruce explained.
"No...Miss. Kyle is...different." Damian tried.
"Damian, don't you see? Once they defeat all those Rouges causing havoc in the streets what happens?" Bruce asked.
"They take over the city and come after us." Damian said.
"Precisely. And when an enemy grows exponentially their tactics become ever clearer. Their allies and attacks show themselves. And when we know our enemy, and when we are most prepared...we strike." Bruce said.
Damian was silent at that.
"In war you must be prepared to lose a few battles to gauge your enemy Damian. Know when it looks as though I do nothing, instead I gather and prepare our forces for retaliation. Nightwing has knocked sense into me. I've been too blind to all the losses, clearly the Phantom Thieves will be a giant and formidable foe. But the bigger they are, the harder the fall." Bruce said.
"How are we going to learn anything with Constantine awol? I bet he's out there dying of alcohol poisoning." Damian scoffed.
"Dr. Fate will answer my calls. One way or another, leave it to me son. I will win this war." Bruce smirked.
"*chuckles* I see...I've been blind to greater tactics. Our enemies will fall and with our generals and soldiers at our side. We will not fight a one man war. Those thieves will fall greatly in battle." Bruce's deep subconscious rang.
"It seems we have much to learn if we are to inherit the keys to the kingdom. We must take these lessons to mind if we are to become ruler of the Bat-clan." Damian's deep subconscious rang in his mind as the boy took the lessons to heart.

The new employees were getting comfortable with their new jobs. Azuki had to admit this was a much calmer and straight edge gid than the one she used to have. The Thieves never asked them for ridiculous and demeaning tasks, Sojiro was a polite boss but with properly stern rules, even Morgana while a flirt wasn't that bad compared to the pervert she used to deal with at the club. Cinnamon and Maple got the hang of it easy, hell, even her younger sisters could probably do this. White suggested even opening a bakery for her under the LEblanc name, which prompted her to show off her cooking skills to Sojiro.
His praise...meant a lot to her for some reason. Maybe it was because he was a master cook. She hated to admit it, but even though the Thieves wrecked their last employment, they made up for it tenfold. She never felt more dignified, she never felt more safe, she never felt this...happy. A talk with her sisters yielded the same response, it seemed White kept her word. But the freebie meant that the goons that made them would be sneaking around, White said she would take care of it but...she already did so much. While she didn't quite trust Akira yet, he was in charge with all things final when it came to spending, despite Makoto's clear skill in the matter. She needed to work something out with him, if it meant some ridiculous work she was prepared for it.
"Yo, Akira." Azuki said as the other girls prepared to leave.
"Hm? What's up?" Akira asked.
"Azuki? Are you not coming with us?" Maple asked.
"I need to discuss somethin' with the dude alright? Go on without me?" Azuki said.
"You think she's admitting her true feelings?" Cinnamon whispered into Maple's ear.
"I HEARD THAT! GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE WITH THAT BULLSHIT! Maple, take her home before I lose my cool." Azuki hissed.
Maple pushed Cinnamon while she was in a blushing fit as usual. Azuki sighed as she looked up at Akira.
"Don't get any ideas man. That's the last thing I need right now." Azuki growled.
"I didn't say anything." Akira said.
"Hehehe. What's with the blush Azuki?" Morgana popped his head out of the bag, snickering.
"Beat it tiny. Me and your master gotta talk grownup shit!" Azuki motioned to the door.
"HEY! I'll have you know we are equal partners in our operation!" Mona scowled.
"That's not what I'm hearin' whenever you beg him for tuna. Beat it." Azuki smirked.
Morgana grumbled as he made his leave Akira chuckled quietly at his friend's curses, he'll make it up to him later.
"What is it you wanna talk about?" Akira asked.
"Upstairs. I know Boss likes having his smoke in private." Azuki said as she made her way upstairs.
Sojiro took a long puff of smoke in response and Akira followed upstairs.
Azuki sat on the futon, suddenly nervous about what she was about to do, she fiddled with her uniform as her ears tilted downwards.
"So what's eating you?" Akira asked.
"*sigh* I need a favor. Well two actually...now I think about it three." Azuki groaned.
"Ok...what is it?" Akira asked.
"It's...It has come to my attention that some goons are after us and my sisters. As you already know we're...different. White's been payin' them off when I thought we got away from em' that's why her payment is so high. And with the freebie…" Azuki stopped as her nerves got the best of her.
"Oh...I see. Ok." Akira said blankly.
"I promise I'll...what?" Azuki said, shocked.
"I said I'll give ya money." Akira said.
"But...but...just like that?" Azuki asked.
"Ya want it or not?" Akira smirked.
"I...I…" Azuki began to sniff as a tear rolled down her face. She started to whimper as she wiped it away.
"Hm?" Akira asked.
"Just what kind of dude are ya...noone is that nice." Azuki said.
"You want to talk about it?" Akira asked.
"Idiot. Just accepting favors outright. You didn't even say what ya wanted in return." Azuki said.
"Just consider it a bonus for working here." Akira said.
"Bonus…*giggles* You're so weird. It's a heavy monthly payment you know." Azuki sniffled.
"It's easy to pay for good workers. What are your other favors?" Akira asked.
"The others...don't tell em' about this. They deserve a happy life. A life without worry and fear." Azuki said.
"And you don't?" Akira asked.
"Someone's gotta be the adult and take care of em' being the oldest it falls to me." Azuki said.
"I get it. But you should really tell them about it. So at least they know to keep an eye out on them." Akira said.
"*groans* you're...right...but, the younger ones...I don't think they could handle it. They're still so young." Azuki said, looking away.
"What like they're children?" Akira asked.
"*groans*...I gotta break it to ya don't I? Just how fucked up our existence is." Azuki said as she wiped more tears away.
"I just need names. I can help you." Akira put a hand on her shoulder.
She looked down at the ground in response.
"Come on...it can't be that bad." Akira tried to comfort her.
"*chuckles* Everyone says that before they know. Akira...I'm only three years old." Azuki said as the tears started to stream out again.
"Wha…?" Akira asked.
"Don't believe it right? We...all of my sisters were experiments. Genetic engineering, we were all born in test tubes from science I'll never understand." Azuki said.
"For what purpose?" Akira asked.
"Sex." Azuki said simply.
Akira was shocked at that.
"I managed to steal some paperwork during our escape. Very top secret stuff. We were all designed for commission. We were only made to be sold for billions of dollars." Azuki said.
"You said there was paperwork. Who made you, who were the ones who bought you?" Akira asked.
Azuki shrugged.
"Beats me. The only things on the papers were what they ordered. Very descriptive. But I remember them all, and they give me nightmares. Right down to our personality and body. 'Short, small breasted munchkin hybrid. Youthful looking but mature, fearless and easy going. Capable of housework and excellent cooking. Make her have a thing for pigtails.'" Azuki said, as she pointed to herself.
"My god that's disgusting." Akira said.
"Some of my sisters had it worse. Chocola was made dumb on purpose, Cinnamon was given an insaiable libido, Coconut is built like a super model but has the self esteem of a recluse." Azuki started to sob.
"How did you get out of there?" Akira asked.
"There was an escape. Some guy managed to get out of his bindings and wrecked the place. I'll never forget his face. Strong, dark black hair with blue eyes...he looked the spittin' image of Superman." Azuki said.
"Superboy...was made in a lab." Akira realized.
"Who? Now that I think about it I do remember one name, a map we had to look at together. With the company name." Azuki said as she struggled to remember.
"Who is it?" Akira asked.
"Ca….Cad….Project Cadmus?" Azuki struggled.
"And you never tried to look into it?" Akira asked.
"I just wanted to take my sisters and leave. Nothing else mattered, the guy once we were far enough away to make sure we weren't followed just flew away. Never said a word...but I'm thankful...for the opportunity of a free life." Azuki sobbed.
"Hey...hey...I'll look into it." Akira, trying to comfort her, patted her on the head.
"HPHMMM! *growl* *purrr*" Azuki leaned into it as she continued crying.
"I'll make it right. I promise." Akira said.
"I...Thank you…*sobs* Thank you…" She tackled Akira in a hug, still crying her eyes out.
"N-No problem." Akira said as he returned the hug.
"They're gonna give me hell for this. Maple and Cinnamon know your scent. Cinnamon's bound to get the wrong idea and the kids are gonna demand to meet ya." Azuki groaned as she pulled away.
"I'll correct it. I'm sure they'll be treated fine here." Akira smirked.
"Just...don't let them in on any of the Thieving stuff ok? They don't need to be involved in all of that. Besides they're...not the best at keepin' secrets." Azuki said.
"Consider it done. Don't need kids involved in this anyway." Akira smirked.
"Ah...the two youngest are like 9 months old but...they look like teens." Azuki sweated.
"That...makes it grosser but whatever. They'll be safe here." Akira said.
"Thank you...just...Thank you so much." Azuki smiled sweetly through her tears.
"Also I'm telling the guys before they make a move that cool?" Akira asked.
"*chuckles* that's...fine?" Azuki said.
"Cool. Consider all of it done." Akira said.
With that Azuki gathered herself and went home. She sighed as she entered the home, knowing all the girls will be hounding her with questions.
Here goes nothing.

Arkham Asylum
Quincy Sharp walked through the halls of his facility. He was quite proud of his work in the asylum. Blissful ignorance worked like that when he gave full control to Strange so he could run as mayor. Harvey Dent, while a good challenge, had no chance for him. He walked into Strange's office, the one he used to have and sat down for his monthly report.
"How is the campaign Mr. Sharp?" Strange greeted.
"Quite well so far. With Dent being so busy with all the Black Mask prosecutions, I used the time to run an aggressive marketing pull, every channel has my face." Sharp said proudly.
"Congratulations. But we're not here to discuss politics are we? Would you like some coffee as we go over the reports?" Strange asked.
"Why that sounds delightful." Strange said.
Hugo went over to the coffee maker and poured two cups, he walked back and handed one to Sharp.
"Thank you. How is the old place holding up?" Sharp asked as he poured some sugar into the coffee.
"Nothing of note. Well...I heard they are going to send Sionis here for study. I'm sure the bars will hold in fine. If Tetch is any example he'll be nothing but compliant and docile." Strange said as he said down.
"I was so busy with the campaigning I forgot to ask you about that. So it's all true? All that nonsense about the mind?" Sharp asked as he stirred his coffee slowly...so slowly…
Drink it already you fool. Strange smiled through gritted teeth.
"I am no detective. All I know is that Jervis's state of mind is completely different than before. As if a flip has been switched. He no longer speaks in rhymes, he also no longer has to be forced to take his medication. He practically begs for them now." Strange said as he wiped off his glasses.
"Fascinating. Well, what else is happening here? How is Crane holding in his cell?" Sharp asked as he drank the coffee.
Strange smiled as he saw the idiot consume the liquid. He got up and chuckled.
"*chuckles* He will play an integral part in the research of Hatter's mind." Hugo said, smirking.
"What?! You must be joking! Crane is a mad mad who experimented on patients!" Sharp got up.
"Sit." Hugo said.
"No! I WANT- UGHH!" Sharp gasped as he sat down, he tried to get up but it was like his entire being was fighting him not to.
"Mr. Tetch was very compliant indeed. A simple persuasion and he spouts all the research he remembers, confessing all his sin like I'm a priest in a church. It has been very helpful." Strange smirked.
"WHAT IS THIS?! LET ME UP THIS INSTANCE!" Sharp yelled.
"You are no longer in control Mr. Sharp. You will do whatever I say with no question, you would die for me if I said to do so. You only take orders for me and make no political statements without my say so. You will go home with no memory of this and sleep. You will wake up and await orders. Do you understand?" Strange asked.
"No...NO! YOU! I WILL END YOU…..y...yes...I understand." Sharp said dully.
"Go. Now." Strange smirked. He watched the politician walk out with glee. He knew it worked, but inmates were not the best subjects to test on. The doctors who would fight him...those were the real test subjects. He pulled out a burner phone out of his jacket, he dialed the number.
"Is it done?" The voice asked.
"Yes my master. We now have the next mayor in our corner." Strange smiled.
"*chuckles* Good. How goes the research?" the voice asked.
"Crane is excelling in his toxins. But the mind of Sionis and Tetch really catches his eye. He is practically begging to observe them." Strange said.
"Let him. I want all options open. The next phase starts now." The voice said.
"Understood." Strange said and he heard the call end without pleasantries. That suited him fine he pressed the intercom on his desk.
"Paging Dr. Crane. Please come to the warden's office." He said politely.
A few minutes passed by and Dr. Crane came in looking annoyed with the straw mask still on his head.
"I was in the middle of something. What is it Strange?" Crane asked.
"You have my permission to observe Sionis and Tetch. But testing them with your toxins is strictly prohibited? We need to know how they got that why." Strange said.
"I wouldn't dream of ruining such cases. I need to observe how the cognitive change worked. So I can reverse engineer it." Crane chuckled.
"Ah. Now that sounds promising. See it through. I too am curious as to the methods." Strange said.
Crane practically skipped out of the office, giddy in excitement over his new cases. He couldn't wait to see how they ticked.

Batman dove out of the Batwing gathering velocity, he grabbed the bat creature and stabbed it with the cure for his illness.
"ARRRRRRRRR" The beast roared as the two slammed into the ground. The impact knocked it out, and Batman used it as a shield for the force. With it's high strength he observed over the past week he knew it could take the impact. He called the batwing down and pulled the harness onto the sleeping beast, it was too heavy for Batman to lift.
"Frrr….annnnn….cinnnne." The beast tried to croak out.
"Easy doctor. It's over." Batman said to its sleeping form.
As he drove the creature to lockup he could help but feel sorry for the doctor. Dr. Langstrom in he's transformation killed his wife, death by blunt trauma to the head. It was clear that his mind was clouded by whatever effects the drug had. Batman sighed, he knew he had to break the news to the man, or some officer will slip it out on accident.
Gordon and Cash and a few officers gathered as they hauled the massive bat into a meta containment cell. They watched in awe as the cure shrank the doctor to his original shape.
"Jesus...it's so...hard to listen two all those bones rearrange." Cash cringed.
"There's a body in Langstrom's lab. His wife, unplanned, there's video footage of it occurring." Batman said.
"ARRRRGGGG! FRANCINE! WHERE ARE YOU!" Langstrom cried in pain as he changed back.
"This will break him. Are you sure we should tell him?" Gordon asked.
"He has a right to know Jim. If I were him I'd want to know." Batman said.
We should send the notes he had for testing. Our soldiers could benefit from such strength and enhancement. The heartless commander in his head rang.
No...too risky. Look what happened with a tiny amount to the brain. It would go against our morals. The knight in his head rang through.
Fool. The commander hissed.

Athena reached her mirror's temple. It was jarring how similar it was to her own world. The tall Greek columns alight with mighty torches, it was a beautiful sight as she entered.
"Who are you? And why have you come?" Her mirror asked.
"I seek aid, sister. I must help my warriors in their fight." Athena said.
It was a long story to tell, but the immortal goddesses had time to spare.
"I hear your call. It rings true. But the Amazons will need a proper call in order to be led by a team with men. It spits in the face of all they believe...all they know...some will be stubborn." the mirror said.
"I know the tale of what happened with Ares. We actually have his aid in this as well if you can believe it. It will be an obstacle to be sure, but one that must be beaten. If it is not we will all surely perish." Athena said, concerned.
"With my aid they will comply. But first what of the princess? She might not be as...willing" The mirror said.
"I have faith in Diana. I will plead with her personally...but first Queen Hippolyta…" Athena said.
"Yes...I will call for her now…" the mirror said.

Queen Hippolyta was resting in her great chambers. The island was at rest for now, and a queen needed proper sleep to command her people. Suddenly a vision claimed her, a clear sign of a god calling upon her. She tossed and turned as a cold sweat claimed her body. The guards heard the commotion and busted through the doors to look for intruders.
"MY QUEEN!" One rushed to check her, only to be stopped by the other.
"No...I've seen this before...the gods are calling her...sending her commands…" The other calmed.
"GAAASSSPP!" Hippolyta shot up awake, her long black hair a mess, and her eyes in shock.
"My Queen?" one aksed.
"Gods….call up my top Generals...Athena herself has called us to battle." Hippolyta commanded.
The general Philippus and Hippolyta's sister Antiope rushed up to her chambers, standing at attention.
"My sisters...Athena has called upon me with a most controversial task. An aiding hand in the Man's world.
"Blasphemy!" Antiope hissed, flipping her short blond hair, green eyes glaring.
"Truly you jest my Queen. You've made it clear your stance on Man's world." Philippus said, the black Amazon clenching her spear until her knuckles turned pale.
"WE MUST OR WE'LL SURELY BE DESTROYED! ARES AND HERCULES ARE OF NO COMPARISON TO THE DEMON IN MY VISION!" Hippolyta yelled, hysterically.
"You...my sister...even if what you say is true...how do I tell the warriors?" Antiope said, shivering at her statement.
"We...will tell them the truth. Diana and Donna will be confused and suspicious for sre but...If I ignore a plea from Athena herself...what kind of Queen would I be?" Hippolta sighed.
The two generals looked at each other in disbelief. Thousands of years removed from mankind, they must suddenly rejoin, or surely be destroyed by some unknown force. The motivation speaking needed will be great, fierce, and dominant over the more man hating Amazons.

Burnley
The thunder crashed as a woman rushed through the alleyways screaming for help. The high heels not helping in her speed as she tried to get away from her pursuer.
She knew she should have just slept at the office instead of walking through Gotham at night. As she ran she fumbled in her purse for a gun.
"HELP ME! PLEAASEEE! OOF!" She tripped on some sidewalk, the force sprained her ankle as she seethed in pain. She finally got the gun out throughout her sobs, fumbling with it as she pointed it at the man chasing her. She never saw his face in the dark. She was under a streetlamp and as he caught up he hid his face from the light.
"Back off man! BACK OFF! I ain't afraid to use this!" The woman trembled.
The man chuckled darkly, almost cartoonishly evil.
"My, what a delightful chase. Shame it ended so soon. I enjoy a good jog through the city rain." The man chuckled as he pulled out a sharpened butter knife and walked into the light for dramatic effect.
"B-Basil Karlos?" The woman asked in confusion.
"No...No...You've ruined the take darling. You've botched it up, I ONLY DO ONE TAKE!" Basil screamed.
"AHHH!" The woman shot the gun, the bullet shot through his face leaving a hole where his left eye would be. Basil fell to the floor dead.
"Oh...OH GOD! Ummm...run, right." The woman shook her head as she cleared her thoughts and tried to limp away.
A hand grabbed her before she could make it too far.
"Wha..H-how?" She asked as she was far out of arm's reach only to be horrified by the stretched orange arm seeming to melt to the ground.
"AHHHHHH!" She screeched.
"You…*chuckles* You...aren't going anywhere. We have to finish our take." Basil laughed laying on the ground. He turned to her showing his wounded face, the orange goo seeming to collapse his whole body as he melted into a puddle.
The puddle rushed her and held her down, a huge monster formed out of it terrifying her.
"I am not Basil Karlos….I am….THE TERROR!" Basil screamed dramatically.
He drowned her, covering her mouth and nose in his clay. He watched her struggle until her body gave way. He laughed, that was an excellent scene.
The hard part was returning to human form, it took a lot of concentration but he was a professional. This was but a preview, he couldn't wait for opening night.

Messiah Picaro bowed deeply as he said his plight to the court. Familiar faces surrounded him and listened to his plea.
"We must not interrupt the plight of humans, duplicate. This is man's doing and man's task to solve." Micheal the leader of heaven's army growled.
"I plead with you all. If left unchecked this demon will destroy us all." Messiah Picarosaid.
"Hah...you are truly a fake if you doubt your own lord's power. The son of god has truly fallen wherever you hail from." Micheal scoffed.
"Micheal...are we truly going to ignore his humble plea? Without as much as a look for our lord? What if he is correct?" Gabriel asked, a look of concern on her face.
"I will not lend any of my troops without proper proof of this outlandish claim my sister." Micheal looked over to her.
"I understand your doubt my brother. Please send a proper judge onto me, I offer my life, my soul, anything that will prove my righteousness." Messiah Picaro said as he knelt with his hands together in prayer.
"Uriel will judge you as he does all. My...mirror...we must see must show our honor and power into looking if this is true. If the power I read from you is not enough of an example already." The other Messiah flew down interrupting the argument with Uriel in tow. The white glowing figure doing much to differentiate from his counterpart.
"My Mirror...I thank you with all of my soul. I will prove my truth and I will prove my words." Messiah Picaro bowed.
"Hmm…" The mirror nodded, he looked over at Uriel who stood at attention.
"Judge him without bias as you would any other. The fact he has my name is irrelevant." the mirror said.
"Yes sir." Uriel bowed.
Messiah Picaro felt truly blessed this day. He had no doubt in his wards resolve and intentions.

Wonder Tower
Ra's al Ghul stroked his beard as he looked out the window down at the cityscape of Gotham. The tower has been a proper hideout for the League of Assassins for decades. The tall building allows for observation of the entire city.
Strange has been a very compliant fool, but his intelligence was without question. The man deduced Batman's identity and was selling it to the highest bidder at the start of his career. A notable feat considering the lengths the detective goes through to shield it. This time...Gotham...no the country will fall to its knees. It just started here.
"Father." Talia walked up to her father. She swished her hair as she approached. She was called up to him for reasons he didn't say.
"My daughter. What do you say about these novices taking Gotham by storm?" Ra's asked.
"Hmm...possible threat. A blimp on the radar, children blinded by ideals that don't see reality." Taila huffed.
"No...Possible allies when swayed properly. They challenge your love. Both sides of him, the enemy of our enemy...will bow and do our bidding." Ra's chuckled as thunder and lightning struck.
"I will search for them then." Taila bowed.
"Just threatening them will not do. Like our detective I suspect they are quite stubborn. Find a weakness and threaten. Make sure the detective doesn't see scouts." Ra's said.
"Understood." Taila said as she began to walk away.
"Bring them here if able. I wish to see them...out of...curiosity." Ra's said as he poured a glass of red wine.
"Yes father. Anything else?" Taila waited.
"No my daughter that will be all." Ra's said as he sipped the wine.
Taila walked away, commanding her soldiers on what they were doing.
Ra's took another sip of wine calmly. The Phantom Thieves were merely a precaution at this time. Them dying would be of little consequence. But, the idea of striking his enemies down with their supposed power...There was too much evidence to claim it was a facade now, and that power over minds sounded delicious.

Blood Storms
The King's Throne Room of Hell.
"Sire...he's coming!" A demon ran into the court.
"DO NOT RUN UP TO THE DEMON LORD IN SUCH A MANNER!" A guard pointing a spear at the lowly demon.
"SATANAEL IS BACK AFTER MILLENNIA OF SILENCE!" A demon cried.
"Surely you jest. I ought to rip you in half for such insolence!" Trigon hissed, impatiently.
"I-it's true my lord. Why would I lie about such things!" the demon said hesitantly.
"DO NOT QUESTION ME OVER YOUR NEW FOUND INSANITY!" Trigon roared, gripping the demon by the throat, Tirgon's eyes ablaze in fire in rage of this outlandish claim.
"My, My...It seems my reputation precedes me…" The two giantic doors slammed open as Sataneal walked in, blood all over his body with the battle he fought to get to this court...to his past throne.
"It...can't be…" Trigon glared at the giant figure, outclassing even him in height.
"Trigon is it? Pray tell, what happened to the great Lucifer?" Satenael asked.
"He stepped down. Old and bored of his post. I rised up in his stead." Trigon growled at the mention of the past ruler.
"I see...I have travelled great lengths to see the current Ruler. The "Great" and "Monstrous" Trigon." Sataneal scoffed.
"Do not jest about my might, old man. You disappeared leaving the land in chaos...What possible motives brings a coward back to his past domain." Trigon asked.
"*Chuckles Evilly* I am here to reclaim my throne. Bow before me...boy" Sataneal looked up and down the new "ruler". He scoffed, one look and he knew Trigon was all ambition, with no real accomplishments. A dictator, a madman, Sataneal loaded his gun and took out his long and all powerful sword and pointed it at Trigon.
"Come at me. Show me this…'Power'..." Satanael continued.
Trigon roared as he charged the god, curse energy shooting all over the chamber. This would not be a battle of magic Satanael realized, as the magic did nothing to harm him, the curse magic spells rather gave him strength. Sataneal charged at the demon with his sword, slashing Trigon as the behemoth was shocked at the giant's speed.
Trigon punched his challenger through the walls of the chamber, damaging the ancient architecture.
Satanael was quick to get up and return with fire from his gun, Trigon dodged it as he extended his mighty claws, growling and showing his sharp fanged teeth, with his four glowing red eyes blazing.
A great battle took place that day...a short and humiliating battle that put Trigon in his place. The almighty Sataneal laughed and jested, cocky in his ability. The Trickster was rubbing off on him too much, he figured. It felt good to stretch his wings over this great domain...He was surprised the one they called "Sandman" just let him past the gates.
Not one word was spoken between the two all powerful beings, Morpheus just opened them and nodded, as if he didn't need any convincing over the situation at hand.
"Do you yield, boy?" Sataneal asked as he stomped and Trigon's face, stabbing his heel through his jaw.
"Grant me mercy like some sort of cowardly old man?" Trigon challenged gritting his teeth.
Sataneal chuckled at that and leaned down, staring Trigun in the face, he aimed his gun right to the red skin of Trigon's right arm.
"Do not goad me, my boy. You'll only get yourself hurt." Sataneal shot Trigon's arm, the power behind it dislodging it.
"ARGGGGGGGGG!" Trigon roared in pain.
"I heard tales...tales of you losing to a bunch of children. Your own daughter, correct?" Sataneal asked in a teasing manner.
"The Titans should not be underestimated. They will defeat you old man, if not them...The fools calling themselves the protector of the earth." Trigon hissed.
"No, no...I am not underestimating them...more...overestimating you...How many times have you foolishly failed to possess her? And in return you made her more powerful in her rebellion? Do you know nothing of how I came to power in the first place boy?" Satneal asked, stabbing his sword into the wound of Trigon's shoulder, moving the bone.
"And what say you? What is your grand plan you fool?" Trigon hissed.
"You will refer to me as 'Your Majesty', or 'Great Demon Lord', boy. This is my throne now...You're lucky I need a peasant like you...as a message to all the nine circles. They see this wound and know my power." Sataneal smirked.
Trigon hissed and struggled against his new master. He would rather die than serve anyone again. But what would that accomplish other than pride.
"Call upon this girl. Send her to me...I will show you how to properly deal with traitors." Satanael groweld.
"I will kill her myself...or better yet...possess her soul" Trigon hissed.
"In your state, boy? Don't make me laugh, do it...before I take another limb." Satanael pointed his gun to Trigon's left leg.
"NOO! I will do it. If only to witness the sight of her being defeated with my own eyes." Trigon said.
"Good." Satanael said, shooting his gun, destroying Trigon's leg as he howled in pain.
All of the denizens of Hell would hear of this defeat. Of the return of the great and mighty Satanael. The demon lord left Trigon to his pain as he walked to his throne, it has been a great while in his home world as well. He never thought he would take it back under such circumstances. He chuckled quietly, his Trickster is very deserving of his name. The Sataneal of this world, much like him in the past cared little about anything, so he would not interfere in him taking his place.
Yaldaboath's controlling rule was an eye opener to be sure for the great lord. To actually be called upon for good was a novel sight and experience indeed. To think...he, after all this time...would feel truly alive again.
I truly owe you the world, my Akira. And I'll make sure to give it to you.
