AN: Yo, said it would be soon. Enjoy~!

FEEDBACK:

Cross177: I'm sorry TwT. I get you want to see Batman see his own mental state, and for Superman to see that as well. I know cliffhangers suck, but I really had no other option here. 70pgs is like 22k and adding that would only make the chapter feel bloated.

With Pilaemon, I honestly don't know why he would need to do such a thing with the Lords of Order. Especially when Messiah Picaro already had Heaven side with them already. Maybe he'll appear later on, Idk where though.

Dakota Bruder: No spoilers, but the arcanas revealed are indeed the mirror counterparts.

Also, I'd rather leave will seeds for other PTs up to interpretation. I think it would most likely be what I'm going to put in the mirror's palace anyway, so there's also the spoiler aspect.

Gamelover41592: I wouldn't say insane. Well, maybe a touch now that I reflect lmao.

IsekaiFanBoi: Glad you liked it!

Vein Bloodborne: I didn't plan a worse case scenario for it not to happen lol. I'll get this out as soon as I can. No rushing through, promise.

Wendel Santana: ok

Guest: Lmao same honestly. I don't know who to root for anymore either. But I think that's for the best honestly. Makes the battles non biased.

Guest: In my research Trigon's power was not as much as Batmite's tier of op. I wouldn't doubt it, but I figured Sataneal's gun would give enough of an upper hand. I honestly can't say for sure, and frankly there would be too much rewriting to think about if Trigon wins that battle for the throne all those chapters back. My other fic actually makes Trigon more powerful than Lucifer, so I suppose it evens out. For now though, I like Trigon where he is, but a revolution for Hell's throne would make for a good arc. I'll have to put a pin in that for possible outcomes of all this.

Enjoy~!

Power Annex

Firestorm and Panther flew all around the room, blasting powerful beams of light at each other.

Panther was starting to tire out, the lucky shots Firestorm managed to hit were starting to put a strain on her body. Even if she could turn to smoke, she was still solid enough at times for damage to be done. Especially with a matter creator such as this guy.

"Operation Big Bang currently underway. Be ready for them guys." Oracle chimed through her comm to all those still conscious.

Panther breathed a sigh of relief. Now she just needed to hold the fort long enough for them to get here.

Firestorm, however, was trying to find a work around to take this girl few hits he got were quickly met with an even hotter flame. While he took no damage from it, able to absorb the pure energy into his own attacks; he was getting frustrated from his inability to take her out.

"DAMMIT! Just go down, already!" Firestorm yelled.

"Nya Nya~ What's the matter creep? Can't take the heat?" Panther taunted.

"That's it! Professor! Tell me a chemical that reduces smoke!" Firestorm hissed.

"The easiest solution would be not to let her turn to smoke, simply put her off focus, and while she's off guard blast her with fire retardant."

"Got it!" Firestorm quickly said.

Firestorm patiently dodged Panther's blows. He would have to be careful when he hits her.

"NOW!"

Firestorm unloaded a gust of red gas on Panther's fire form.

"AHHHHH!" Panther roared in pain.

She was quick to turn to her human form, trying to stop the extreme pain. But being midair, she was not able to do that. She crashed into the ground painfully. Firestorm was quick to blast her with his nuclear power.

Panther laid prone, Firestorm landed in front of her to make sure she was alright.

"That...hurt ya bastard." She slurred. She wasn't in any state to fight, but he couldn't allow her to come to her senses. Firestorm aimed at her releasing a sleeping gas on top of her. She calmly passed out.

"Man, her fire was hot even for me." Firestorm admitted.

"Yes, and it shouldn't be. We can touch foot on the sun, but this mere child managed to burn us. What is this power?" The professor asked.

BOOM!

The fused hero would have to figure it out later, as he heard a far off sound, then a harsh rumbling of the entire tower. The power annex's hull was especially thick to be able to contain the fusion cell. What caused such a blow?

BOOM!

He looked off into the distant halls, they were totally empty and quiet. But in the distance he could hear something over the blaring alarms. A roar, a screech, no…

Millions of them blurring together, coming closer and closer.

Firestorm was quick to pick up Panther and put her in a hiding place. He stood in front of the fusion cell, and waited.

Waited for the army that was coming for him.

He could hear a gigantic roar in the distance. These guys...just what else could they possibly throw.

"JUST GO DOWN ALREADY!" Skull roared as he jumped, he reeled back his hammer and went for Steel's head.

"Your punches hit hard kid." Steel said, he armed up and fired his rivet cannon. Red-hot rivets shot Skull down midair.

"AH! YOU PIECE OF-"

Steel kicked Skull into a fallen tree. Skull's back slammed into it, bark flew into Skull's skin. Skull slammed his fist to the ground in fury. Before the boy could get up, Steel rushed at him and moved to strike with his kinetic hammer.

Skull was quick to block it with a colossal electric blast. While Steel's armor could take immense shock absorption, the sheer amount he was taking with each of Skull's blows was taking its toll.

Steel staggered back as his suit worked to repair its overcharge. He could do nothing but cloth his teeth and fists as the charge wrecked his system. All the while Skull recovered, his trait and charge working in tandem as he again struck Steel right in the Superman emblem.

BOOM!

Steel soared backwards through the air, his frozen system doing nothing to aid his recovery. He crashed into the dirt. He grunted in pain as he tried to move.

"OVERCHARGED. OVERCHARGED." His suit beeped.

"Really? Couldn't tell." Steel huffed.

Skull made it to Steel's position.

"*pant* *pant* Did...Did I win? *Chuckles* HELL YEAH! TAKE THAT YA HUNK OF JUNK! WOO!" Skull cheered to himself.

Steel sighed as Skull did a little dance. Figures the kid wouldn't follow through. His suit beeped, the electricity was properly worked out of his suit, and into his hammer.

The kid managed to be dim enough to turn his back to him. Steel prepared to get up, but first.

"Attack." Steel said simply.

The sheer amount of energy stored into the kinetic hammer sent it flying right into Skull's head.

The shockwave sent the trees flying back. Skull was flung upwards, screaming in pain and shock. Steel blasted off after him, he summoned his hammer and roared as he slammed down.

BOOM!

Skull hurtled towards the ground, and through the thick metal floor. He crashed into a bot in the Repair Bay. The machine exploded on impact, the bots surrounding quickly firing on the threat.

Steel landed harshly down, making damn sure the kid stayed down this time. The heaving in pain was proof the kid was still up.

"Dammit...Dammit, dammit, dammit!" He cursed as Steel smirked above him.

"Stay down this time, alright?" Steel smashed Skull in the head with his hammer. The kid was finally down again. Steel stood there, not taking his eyes off him, rivet gun at the ready. He sighed as minutes passed, the heavy dents and tears in his suit slowly healing from the scrap around him.

The war around him finally clicked in his mind. The battle field willed with scrap and knocked out bodies.

"JOHN!" Power Girl called as she landed a punch on Raphael, the angel bleeding but refusing to simply fall.

Steel sent his hammer hurtling towards the angel. Raphael's head was bluntly turned to the side, Power Girl was quick to slam him to the ground. She blasted him brutally with her heat vision, roaring as she punched him over and over again. She reeled back for a finishing blow, but Steel caught her arm.

"Relax, he's out. It's over." Steel said calmly.

Power Girl huffed as she looked down and saw the angel's beaten form, still breathing, another punch and…

"S-sorry. His sword just really fucking hurts." Power Girl put a hand on her bloodied shoulder.

"Y'all really wrecking my bots. Takes time to build these things ya know." Steel huffed as he saw Huntress shot an arrow at Phillipus. The Amazon long ago was rendered alone by the bots. Steel reprogrammed the robots to focus fire. The machines all turned to the Amazon and opened fire, leaving no escape for the general. She was quickly knocked out, lying prone on the ground with the rest of her sisters.

"*pants* I had that!" Huntress called.

"Sure." Steel assured.

Hawkgirl roared as she slammed Wonder Girl to the ground. The woman hissed as Wonder Girl kneed her gut, and punched her right across the face. The blow managed to destroy Hawkgirl's mask, making her red hair spill out of its confines.

Hawkgirl snared in anger, she took Wonder Girl by the throat and slammed her brutally across the face with her mace. She swiped with her metal wings, sending the girl sliding across the floor in a heap.

"Enjoy the nap, kid." She spat as she wiped blood from her mouth.

"What's the situation?" Steel asked.

Hawkgirl stomped her way over to the man and punched him.

"THAT'S FOR LEAVING ME!" She hissed.

"Ahhh, damn. Not like you were alone, bots looked like they got a good chunk of 'em" Steel rubbed his jaw.

"Angels actually pack a punch when they get off their ass. Fucker almost single handedly took down all your little toys. You're lucky these two came along, asshole!" Hawkgirl stomped her foot.

BOOM!

The sound, followed by the blaring alarms made all four still

"Now what?" Hawkgirl groaned as they all felt the tower shake.

"Cyborg, Booster what's happening on the outside?" Batman hissed through the comms.

Radio silence was the only answer.

"ANSWER ME DAMMIT!" Batman roared.

"I'll check it out." Steel walked over to a terminal, finding an Amazon laying in the destroyed scrap of it.

"Oops." Power Girl cringed.

"Smooth." Huntress quipped.

BOOM!

The Watchtower shook even more violently, the heroes had to catch their balance to avoid being taken off their feet.

"Whatever it is it's outside. Luckily there are plenty of drones stationed in the hangers, I'll just see what's happening through them.

Steel opened his holographic console. He pressed a few buttons to activate all drones and attack any intruders. Cameras blinked to life, glitching and stuttering from damage. Fires roared all around the hangars, all well as blood and gore. But none of it was discernibly human.

Steel quickly tried to move the camera to see what was happening.

"Jesus, there's...there's so many." Steel said in shock.

"Well, what is it? Spit it out already!" Hawkgirl glared.

BOOM!

There was a distant sound from the upper floors. Steel sweated at the realization, they were only a few dozen floors down. With the sheer numbers…

"Joker's gone full assault mode hasn't he?" Power Girl asked as she looked through the multiple giant holes Steel left.

"I swear to God if I get out of this I'm wringing Bruce's neck." Huntress hissed.

"Get in line, sweetie." Hawkgirl spread her wings out and got into a battle stance.

BOOM!

"These kids...just how much support did they get in fricking two months? This is Steel to HQ, send all unmanned forces to Watchtower. Priority S, I repeat Priority S!" Steel shouted into his comm. If no one else would show, his own bots on Earth would give at least give some support.

"CONFIRMED! PROCESSING!" His comm chimed. At least the kids weren't able to destroy all satellites in orbit. He had to momentarily bypass a Lexcorp ship but his bots should be here soon.

"*ROARRRRRRR!*" A deep and booming roar echoed throughout the halls of the upper floors, closing in on...them.

"Not soon enough." Steel muttered to himself.

A gigantic blast of red and black roared downwards, thousands of feral red creatures fell in, the bots quick to open fire. It wasn't enough, as their leader jumped down into the Repair Bay, crushing his weak troops beneath him.

"Heroes...Though ordered by my so-called 'lord' to not kill, know I won't hesitate to rip you limb from limb. As he did me." The large creature hissed.

"Trigon…" Power Girl hissed with hate.

Demons all around the past Lord of Hell roared ferociously. The demons around him charged at the enemies before them.

"Jeez your aim is shit! Are you even trying?!" Mona chided Booster Gold.

"Let me hit 'em. Just once to shut him up." Booster Gold begged Skeets.

"Sir. I've looked through the database. I could find nothing but vague intel. Seems the more I try to look, the stronger my own systems lock me out. All I can tell you is that they take the Watchtower successfully. The effects of that however, is heavily redacted." Skeets chimed in his comm.

"Oh for fuck's sake!" Booster shot Mona right in the torso. All the dodging and shit talking were all for the creature's own benefit.

"OOF!" Mona cried as he crashed into the wall.

"SIR! THE TIMELINE!" Skeets chided.

"A single smart ass down won't make them lose. This thing can't even touch me. Ain't that right ya possum!" Booster gloated out as he walked towards the downed Mona.

"Ugh...The hell is that beam made of? *Cough*" Mona grunted in pain.

"All bark, no bite. Skeets scan this little shit, maybe that could help." Booster pressed a foot down on Mona's back, aiming his plasma beam at the cat's head.

"Sir please. We don't know what could happen, the little details shown set every alarm bell in my system off!" Skeets cried.

"Let go of me you bastard! I'm not even sure what's gonna happen, but time travel even in though is messy as hell! Just lay off!" Mona spat.

"Oh? So suddenly you're an expert then? Can it ya rodent! Skeets just do it! Worst case scenario is we stop ourselves. Set a record of this time to the nanosecond, and if we shouldn't do this, travel our future selves back in three...two…"

"SIR YOU JUST CREATED ANOTHER TIMELINE!" Skeets screamed.

"But we didn't show up so it's fine! Scan the runt, at least now we know it's fine." Booster Gold said.

Skeets was overcharging with his processors, running multiple calculations on what could go wrong. The bot knew Booster wouldn't listen though, the man was very stubborn once he made up his mind. The heavily redacted history in his systems was not a good sign either. Every day before now and up to this point was fully chronicled. From the Phantom Thieves first heist right up to the Watchtower footage recovered. Skeets sighed as the footage started to static out right to this moment. Now everything was uncertain, and Skeets could only abide by his partner's wishes, and hope for the best.

"S-scanning…" Skeets shined a light on Mona, the cat tried to wobble out of his hold. Booster simply used his suit's enhanced strength to hold the cat down.

"Let go of me! You don't want to know what I am, trust me!" Mona tried.

"Shut up already. I'll make sure your little possum friends all live full lives. Can't save the species in the future though." Booster Gold mocked.

"Think of something Morgana! Bat-mite we'll be pissed if somehow this bot can find out everything about the metaverse! Wait...if it did, wouldn't he have stopped it by now?" Mona realized. The cat stilled, unsure what was about to happen. What he saw was the robot start to glitch out.

"ERROR! ERROR! PROTOCOL ! #$# IN EFFECT! SHUTTING DOWN!" Skeet's LED immediately turned off and the robot crashed into the ground.

"The hell was that static? Skeets?! SKEETS?!" Booster Gold shouted.

"P-Protocol !#Q#! …? T-that means...I GOTTA TELL THEM! GET OFF!" Mona screamed, he blasted the strongest wind spell he had downwards. The floors caved in below, sending the three falling into the lower floors of the Observation Deck.

Booster Gold was quick to fly to prevent his fall, Mona backflipped mid air and drew out his sword. Skeets crashed into the floor, leaving a big dent into it.

"I'm taking the flying robot with me Blondie! You clearly don't know what the hell it just said." Mona declared.

"Yeah, no. Clearly something's off with all of this, I mean how the hell does a possum mimic static exactly? What the hell are you? What are your long term plans? Tell me. Now!" Booster demanded, quickly turning serious.

"LIKE HELL I WILL BLONDIE! Why would I trust you?!" Mona hissed.

"Even if you somehow do manage to take him, he's future tech idiot! CENTURIES AHEAD of whatever caveman crap you guys are using. Even the most intelligent man of your time couldn't crack Skeets. You want your little intel you give me some first." Booster Gold glared down at Mona.

Mona sweated, this idiot was right. If he really wasn't bluffing about being from the future then- wait then why would he only hear static?

"No, walk away, right now. Trust me you don't want to get involved with this." Mona said firmly.

"The hell I'm not, anything hidden in the future is a big issue! Especially so far from the past! Even the most classified files Batman had were revealed decades. Only one was- Wait…" Booster suddenly stopped realizing his error.

BOOM!

"The hell?! What's happening?!" Booster asked looking upwards to the ceiling.

"Joker...We really are too weak...I can't believe it came to this." Mona gasped as he looked behind Booster Gold.

"Huh? The hell are you-" Booster stopped dead in his tracks. He could see the sheer amount of numbers outside the windows. A sea of red and specks of white, but that's not what he looked at…

Before him floated a massive figure, the Watchtower only beat it by a few stories. The gigantic horned being spread it's six massive wings and roared.

"*ROOOOOAARRRRR*" The creature boomed. The entire Watchtower trembled and rumbled, and then millions of creatures charged closer and closer to the glass.

"Jesus…" Booster gulped.

SMASH!

The large glass shattered as thousands of demons charged through it. The vacuum of space sucking all the air out of the room. Alarms blared, blast shields were quick to shut off the windows, but that didn't stop the massive amounts of monsters already inside.

"KILL, KILL ALL BUT THOSE ON OUR SIDE!" A creature hissed, it's orders were less listened to. While most followed, others were so feral and violent they tore each other apart.

The smarter ones were quick to fly towards Mona, circling around him and hissing at Booster Gold. Their razor sharp teeth thirsty for blood, yellow and red eyes filled with hate. Some were huge behemoth tanks that destroyed every wall in their path, crushing their kin beneath their feet. Others were horned women with bat wings, they flew through the broken halls in search of their masters. The most terrifying ones were the ones that ate their own, ripping and tearing all flesh in their way. An army of true chaos incarnate.

The army of Hell

Booster Gold was quick to take aim to defend himself, shields at full power to prevent attack.

"WAIT! WE NEED HIM!" Mona yelled.

"The Trickster's pet has spoken…" an imp soldier hissed.

"Like hell am I going with you, creeps!" Booster glared. He quickly opened fire on the thousands of creatures around him. The monsters were quickly piling up all around him.

"You idiot!" Mona hissed as he was quickly grabbed by a succubus and flown away from the chaotic assault of demons that swarmed Booster Gold.

"SHIT! This idiot! Now how am I supposed to find out more information?!" Mona yelled.

"Your wish will be fulfilled, a command from a Trickster's alley is a command from the Great Demon Lord himself." The succubus cooed to her master.

Mona watched as Booster Gold blasted away hordes of demons with ease, even the strongest among them fell easily to the hero's blasters.

"I think they'll have a hard time." Mona sweated.

Multiple razor sharp blades of ice launched at Constantine. The detective formed a protective shield around himself and was fully protected. A large wave of water struck at the shield, Aquaman charging through it and striking the shield with his Trident.

The magic between the Trident and the shield crackled and roared. Aquaman glared as he gritted his teeth, trying to force his weapon through the shield.

Constantine pulled out a flask and took a long drink. He just got the word about Big Bang.

"Life has a funny way of going, eh Arthur?" John asked.

"What are you blabbing on about now, John? I assure you, you won't be able to make a deal with me." Aquaman spat.

"HA! Like I'd ever try...Well maybe if the chips were down. But they ain't, they sure as hell ain't, mate." Constantine lit a cigarette as Aquaman tried to get through.

"FIGHT ME YOU LITTLE WEASEL!" Aquaman boomed.

"Nothing would give me more pleasure than to wipe the floor with ya, fish sticks. Unfortunately, even with all the shit you talk about Zatanna and me; I gotta make sure the kids stay true to their word. Can't have corpses, not a single one." Constantine sighed.

"What in the world are you-"

BOOM!

Aquaman felt the entire room around him shake and rumble. He glared at the so-called 'man' in front of him. Of course John would have a way to run from his mistakes.

"*Scoff* I see. Tell me John, how do you think this will all go, hm? You think you'll just waltz right out of here? No fuzz, no fight?" Aquaman asked.

"Yup." Constantine blankly answered.

"*Chuckles* You fool. You absolute idiot. These children couldn't hide after this, not in the farthest reach of space, nor the deepest depths of the ocean. Especially not with you." Aquaman spat.

Constantine blew a long puff of smoke, it bounced off the shield right at Aquaman's face.

"How ya figure mate?" Constantine asked, unimpressed.

"Because I know the minute, the second, things don't go your way, you'll run like the coward you are." Aquaman insulted.

BOOM!

The wall behind Constantine exploded, he remained standing but Aquaman was blown back. Thousands of demons rushed in on the walls, ceilings and floors. The more brainless killed each other, while the elites screeched at Aquaman and all rushed past Constantine.

Aquaman grunted and slammed his Trident into the floor, electricity cracked the gigantic hordes approaching him. The King of the sea roared as he took out the waves with ease. But with more and more time passing, the stronger demonic beings from deepest circles rushed to take him down.

"CONSTANTINE!" Aquaman boomed through the blood and gore splashing all around him.

Constantine lit another cigarette and took a long drag. He turned away from the hero and walked through the destroyed halls.

He wouldn't let Aquaman verbally assault him any longer. He can have the pointless fight with the hordes. The bastard deserves it after all the shit he said.

Green Arrow shot multiple arrows at Fox, the boy dodged them, even cutting a few midair. The boy charged at the hero with his katana, Green Arrow was quick to show that was a stupid idea.

Using his expert martial arts, Green Arrow used his metal bow as a makeshift melee weapon, landing critical blows on the Thief.

"You're fast kid, but you're still nothing but a beginner." Green Arrow grunted.

"*grunts* I see, then I must change tactics." Fox heaved as he took a step back.

Fox unleashed heavy ice attacks on Green Arrow, the hero managed to dodge a few but a lucky one managed to hit his bad arm.

"AGGGHH! Shit!" Green Arrow hissed in pain.

"Ollie! Back off of him!" Canary glared at Fox. She was quick to deliver a fatal blow into Queen's stomach. The girl cried out in pain being downed, Canary rushed to Arrow and unleashed a sonic screech that blasted Fox off his feet.

Fox crashed into a wall prone, Arrow was quick to follow up and shoot multiple tranq arrows right into the boy. He was out cold.

"FOX! OUTTA THE WAY!" Queen roared as she rushed on her persona. The two heroes were quick to dodge to the side. Arrow, arm still acting up managed to shoot a grapple arrow right before Queen blazed through. The line made her fly off her bike, the thing disappearing, leaving her prone.

"GET HER BEFORE SHE HEALS EVERYONE AGAIN!" Green Lantern shouted as Kid Flash and Uriel tried to land blows on him.

"Healer huh? Can't have that." Arrow said.

The two rushed the girl as she crashed into the floor. Queen cried out in pain from the brutal landing, exhausted. Lantern alone took his toll on her whole team, but she had to keep going, her stamina was on fumes but she refused to give up.

Before the heroes landed a punch, she rolled away and pulled out her revolver. She could only let out two shots, before Canary put her into a hold and suplexes her to the ground.

"AHH!" Queen cried out.

Arrow kicked the gun away, Canary then finished the girl off with a brutal knee to the head.

"*pant* How's your arm hon?" Canary asked.

"Hurts like hell, but I think we're about done here." Arrow said.

Uriel was brutally blasted back by Lantern. Kid Flash tried to hold his ground but was quickly surrounded by green constructs. They all smashed into him making him fall to the ground in pain.

"TAKE WALLY! OTHER BASTARD IS MINE!" John roared as he blasted to the angel, ring glowing furiously. The two powerhouses unleashed brutal blasts on each other.

"Jesus…" Arrow cringed as he saw it, rushing to Wally with Canary.

"Focus up. Wally's still conscious." Canary said they closed in. The two were quick to surround the boy, Green Arrow trained his arrows on Wally as the boy tried to get up.

"*Grunts* How's it going gang?" Wally took a brief pause to spit out the blood in his mouth. "Ready to go down?" Wally grinned, blood staining his teeth.

"Give it up Wally, I practically trained you. You know speed has nothing on that." Canary tried.

"You're bleeding body ain't a joke either." Arrow added.

"Heh, nah. I don't think...that'll happen" Wally struggled to get up.

"Look, I know we upset you with all this but-" Canary tried.

"Shut up...just stop trying to do that. I made my choice, and a West never runs back." Wally gritted out.

"*Sigh* Fine." Arrow said as he quickly shot Wally with tranqs, the boy couldn't even move fast enough to get out of the way. Wally thudded on the ground, unconscious and beaten to a pulp.

"Just as stubborn as his uncle. I hate that it's come to this. We should have never let Batman take it this far." Green Arrow said.

"First Diana, now this. We all knew the risks the Thieves posed, but... I think we've only made Diana and the Titans more steadfast in their decisions...I...are we doing the right thing?" Canary asked, filled with doubt.

BOOM!

"What was that?" Green Arrow asked, the whole area trembled and shook.

"Cyborg, Booster what's happening on the outside?" Batman hissed through the comms.

Radio silence was the only answer.

"ANSWER ME DAMMIT!" Batman roared.

"Looks like Batman's pissed. Yay." Canary snarked. She looked over to Green Lantern to see if he needed help. She sweated, it's been a while since she's seen John have such an intense look on his face.

"ARGGG!" Lantern delivered a mighty punch to Uriel, the first rumblings went unnoticed in their battle. The angel and Lantern were bleeding profusely. John stood on top at the end but not without its consequences, his ribs were throbbing in intense pain. The past injury from Sinestro was made infinitely worse. He could feel the broken and fractured bones threatening to dig into his organs. Only his ring's power prevented it, making him focus on his injury more and more than the fight at hand.

Uriel crashed through the kitchen walls, his wings broken along with intense wounds all over the body. Even with his regenerative ability it would take a week to heal.

"UGH! You sir are indeed a mighty warrior. To think a mere mortal would be able to cast such novel spells. It's all for naught, I fear." Uriel spat out blood on the floor.

John staggered to the angel, hand to his ribs. He glared with his one eye that wasn't swollen shut. He aimed his ring at the angel.

"Stand down, and shut the hell up." John gritted out, powering up his ring for the finishing move.

"JOHN WAIT! He might know what's happening outside!" Green Arrow shouted.

"Outside? The hell are you-"

BOOM!

Lights flickered, the alarms went at full force. John looked up and cursed.

"Shit. Should have known that wasn't the last of 'em." John growled.

"This is Green Arrow reporting in. We have one still awake for questioning, talk. Now!" Green Arrow ordered Uriel.

"*Chuckles* You'll soon see mortal. The Trickster has pulled the last card it seems. And I for one would hate to ruin his surprise." Uriel chuckled.

John grabbed Uriel by the neck with his ring, Uriel struggled but his neutral smile was still on his face.

"I'm getting sick of your cryptic shit. Now TALK!" John roared.

"ROOOOOAAAAAARRRR!" A mighty roar shook through the core of the three heroes.

"He is here." Uriel said calmly.

Green Lantern gritted his teeth in anger, but the realization dawned on him.

"These kids...these kids are fucking insane." John said, shaking his head.

"John? What is it?" Canary asked.

John looked at them gravely, and looked at his ring. He hoped he had enough juice for the fight that was coming.

"They...they opened the gates. The Gates of Hell." John clenched his fists.

Just then thousands of demons crawled or fell through the holes Constantine made. The hordes rushed at the three heroes.

"DON'T LET THEM TAKE THE KIDS!" John roared as he quickly rushed to capture them.

"KILL THEM!" A demon roared.

The battle was reignited, Uriel laid still on the ground. The feral demons hissed and tried to attack him, but were quickly held off by the higher ups. Though they weren't exactly happy to be dragging an angel to safety.

"*Chuckles wickedly* My~MY~! Even you fell huh?" Beelezbub stood above him, gloating.

"A mere underestimation, the glowing green one is quite...unique" Uriel hissed.

Beelzebub saw Green Lantern clear hundreds of his troops in a single blow. Forming a barrier blocking the demons from his Trickster's allies.

"Feh. It's only a matter of time. And I'll enjoy watching them despair in the inevitability of their defeat." Beelzebub twitched his head side to side at the challenge before him.

"Remember, a single kill…"

"Oh hush and let me and my troops enjoy this. I would never allow my hordes disobey my Lord's orders, even more so my little destroyer's." The fly swatted his claw and the demons fearfully fled from him with Uriel in tow, leaving the angel to ponder just how the Trickster managed to get such loyalty out of a total monster such as Beelzebub's mirror.

Captain Atom roared as he dealt a nuclear filled punch into Etrigan's face. The demon hissed and slashed at Atom's suit, the razor sharp edges digging into it. Atom cursed, this being was risking the life of all on board with doing that. The hero needed to get this fight away from the Watchtower and fast.

Atom rushed the demon, taking flight at high speeds and punching the demon through layers and layers of wall.

Etrigan roared as he breathed out mighty hellfire at his enemy. The fires make Atom hiss in pain, and make the surrounding area melt from it's intensity. The demon prince delivered a massive blow to the stomach, and went for the hero's throat.

The demon hissed as his teeth couldn't pierce the hero's invulnerable skin. Atom was quick to kick the demon in the gut and blast Etrigan with a heavy projection of nuclear energy. The demon was further blasted through the many walls of the Watchtower. Finally they neared the thick hull as Etrigan was brutally bashed into it.

Etrigan hissed at the man as Atom charged up a powerful nuclear attack. The hero roared as the intense energy coursed through him and out of his hands. Etrigan roared in pain as the attack hit him, the area around him melting at intense heat, weakening the hull of the tower.

Atom slammed Etrigan through it and the two entered the cold vacuum of space.

"FILTHY HERO! THE GREAT ETRIGAN NEEDS NO AIR! ABSOLUTELY ZERO!" Etrigan roared at the hero as he flew at Atom and unleashed his colossal curse spells.

The hero was blasted down the side of the Watchtower, Etrigan blasted after Atom and dragged the hero through miles of the Watchtower's hull. Atom returned and blasted with a severe nuclear attack.

"GO DOWN FREAK!" Atom roared as he punched Etrigan with a colossal nuclear attack. The demon was catapulted away from the Watchtower, Atom flew after him throwing dozens of powerful energy blasts. The demon was raining blood in his path, but he refused to fall.

He sent a powerful Eldritch blast at the hero, the pure beam of mystical energy crashing into Atom. The hero screamed in pain, the demon saw his opportunity.

A simple flight spell blasted Etrigan into Atom. He charged the magic in his body into a fist, and slammed it into Atom. The energy caused a concussive blast, breaking a bit off of Captain Atom's armor.

BOOM!

A miniature blast, akin to a nuclear bomb, spread throughout the area. Atom and Etrigan blasted away from each other screaming in agony.

"*pant* That's it. No more holdin' back ugly." Atom hissed through his teeth, using the sparse matter around him to repair what he could of his armor. He was lucky he had the forethought to bring this fight away from the Watchtower, that explosion could of completely vaporized it into nothing but atoms.

He channeled his power, his body glowing a pure white as he powered up his molecular structure. He screamed in pain, as it always hurt to rearrange your body like this. But his fists glowed pure nuclear force. He rushed Etrigan and let out a barrage of punches, each on impact causing a bit of the demon's flesh to vaporize into nothing.

Etrigan roared in agony, and blasted Atom away with a demonic almighty attack. Atom didn't let up, burning the demon's body into nothingness before the thing could heal.

"AAAAHHHH!" Atom blasted Etrigan with one last brutal punch. The creature roared as he rocketed towards the Watchtower.

"Shit!" Atom cursed as he quickly flew after the demon, before he crashed into the satellite.

Atom stopped the beast by grabbing its neck and putting it into a tight choke hold. Atom sighed in relief, and berated himself for losing his cool in the fight. But the demon's struggling brought the hero back into focus.

"It's over, creep. Now go to sleep!" Atom hissed as he tightened his grip, making sure to burn the demon's neck in threat.

"*chokes* It...it is never over fool. I can sense the coming of the great one. Even your strength will yield to his power." Etrigan choked out as he tried to headbutt Atom to no avail.

"The fuck you talkin' about, freak. Your buddies ain't even close to my level. Bunch of girls with stolen guns." Captain Atom growled at the demon, getting impatient with Etrigan's shit.

"Millennia passed, but he has returned. Through the fires and bodies, his throne was earned. Beware his power, his might, for all shall yield. Rise...RISE! THE GREAT LORD SATANAEL!" Etrigan grinned wickedly as he said his rhymed.

Before Atom could respond...

BOOM!

(Our Beginning OST)

Portals opened on all sides of the Watchtower, some dark and corrupted red, while others were a blinding white. Demons swarmed out by the thousands, then millions, then billions. The sheer numbers of corrupted souls was staggering, around them an army of angels appeared in all the chaos. All of heaven's force's, one hundred thousands strong came in amidst the chaos. Their wings spread wide with swords raised.

Michael stood at the front staring down the entrance of Hangar C, rallying his troops for the all out assault. Beelzebub cackled evilly at the entry point of Hanger B, ready to cause the most chaos he could. Trigon glared down at Hangar A, wanting to vent his fury on the pitiful heroes before him, but he yielded his Lord's wrath.

Amid all of the billions of troops, a gigantic portal roared to life, the Demon Lord looked at the little thing they called a Watchtower and scoffed. He saw through the giant glass and zoned in on his Trickster's ally facing some random hero he didn't know.

The cat seemed tired, worn and close to defeat. The thought of the Trickster being the same, strengthened the elder god's resolve. He spread his six mighty wings in show of dominance over his enemies and troops. He glared down and breathed in to give his command.

"ROOOOOAAARRRRR!"

With that war cry, the armies of heaven and hell all rushed at the towers. The more feral slamming into the hull and tearing it apart mindlessly, swarming through the hole that Captain Atom made, blasting attacks on the hangar doors.

The angels were more coordinated, standing back and making sure the demons didn't cause any death.

BOOM!

An explosion of fire was quickly put out by the void of space. Each hangar door was forced through violently and charged into. The drones stationed there were quick to open fire and raise the alarms. Though the drones took out hundreds upon hundreds of demons, they too were eventually overtaken by their sheer numbers.

Captain Atom was too swarmed heavily on all sides, Etrigan quickly used the hell spawns to his advantage and brutally assaulted the hero. The demons attempted to eat him to the bone, spewing acid and venom at his suit.

Atom blasted an extremely intense nuclear attack and all the demons on him immediately vaporized into dust. He was quick to take on hundreds upon hundreds of hell spawns, Etrigan fighting some away as well as he wanted to put down the hero himself.

Sataneal floated in the vastness of space, the Earth below stood prone to attack. The more feral wished to blindly attack the humans there. His elite guard saw to prevent that, as well as a few angels.

Gabriel floated besides him taking in every action the elder god made.

"It truly baffles me just how much you would do for this Trickster. Tell me, how are you going to control these hordes, when only one of your general's chooses to fight with you?" Gabriel asked.

Sataneal huffed at the question but humored it.

"They will come soon enough. I'll prove to the fools that I have not gone soft over the millennia. They're reluctance will be met with assimilation. They will join us, or be replaced like the fly." Satanael growled.

"While we can overlook maybe a single slain for now, such must not happen if you truly want negotiations. We want reform out of Hell, my Lord, not the endless wars you usually strike." Gabriel chided.

Sataneal glared at him, but nodded in agreement. Fine, he had faith in Joker. If the boy could convince him, a jaded, old god like him to see the light, what's some children with too much bloodthirst?

Field Deck

Beast Boy roared as he turned into a lion and rushed Cyborg. He dodged all of Cyborg's energy blasts and jumped at him. Beast Boy tore into Cyborg's arm and Cy cried out in pain as a result. Cyborg grabbed his friend and slammed him to the ground.

"STAY DOWN MAN! I DON'T WANNA HURT YOU!" Cyborg roared.

"Don't hold back on my account. It's you who's too fricking stupid to see reason!" Beast Boy shouted back .

Beast boy turned into a giant snake and tried to wrap Cyborg up in a tight coil.

"Fine! I warned you!" Cyborg spat. He combined his hands into a giant mechanical gun. He blasted Beast Boy at full power. Beast Boy rocketed back into a server, high voltage running through him.

"AHHHHHH! YOU BASTARD!" Beast Boy recovered quickly, changing into a gorilla and slamming his fists into Cyborg's body. He didn't let Cy catch a breather, as the ape ripped apart Cyborg's suit. He knew Cy could just self repair.

The two traded heated blows, Beast Boy trying his best to simultaneously hold his ground and distract Cyborg from the main terminal.

Catwoman sighed, just getting off her comm. Looks like there wasn't much time left.

BOOM!

"What was that?!" Cyborg asked, distracted.

Beast Boy was quick to body slam onto his friend and put him into the strongest hold he knew. Catwoman took her chance, she made it to the computer and started furiously typing.

"Oracle, I'm almost in! Prepare Operation Broadcast!" Catwoman ordered.

"Roger, roger! Just enter the drive and-"

"HEY I SEE YOU! BEAST BOY THIS WHOLE TIME YOU WERE PLAYIN' ME?!" Cyborg roared as he elbowed Beast Boy in the gut brutally.

"OOF! I ain't playin' nothing! I was hoping you'd see it my way. Ya know, instead showing your head up your own ass!" Beast Boy retorted.

Cyborg fired a brutal energy shot at his friend. The shot exploded on impact, burning Beast Boy's skin.

"AHH! CY WHAT THE HELL!?" Beast Boy cried in pain.

"Started playing dirty, huh? Thought you were my friend, my damn family! How could you betray me like this?!" Cyborg yelled, starting to tear up.

"That isn't what this is dude! I wanted to talk things out, I wanted to do this with you! You're the one who said we ain't friendly no more with that little speech. Ya know how much I was dreading this shit?! Stressed that I might have to fight ya because of all the bull the League is pulling. They don't care about us, man! You're literally the only Titan that ever made it on their little team! WHAT DOES THAT SAY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!?" Beast Boy roared.

"SHUT UP! I earned my spot! I worked to the bone to make sure that peace was kept. It ain't my fault the League doesn't think you ain't smart enough or responsible enough to make it big time! Grow up and see things realistically! You're dumbasses fell for Joker's little show, and I'm gonna knock some sense into that dense skull of yours!" Cyborg hissed.

Lost in their argument and fight, Selina managed to finish the upload.

"Got it" Selina smirked.

"Huh?" Cyborg cursed as he got lost in his emotions.

"ROOOOOOAARRRR!"

BOOM!

"You're both idiots. But hey, I did my part." Selina said proudly.

"SHIT! OUTTA MY WAY!" Cyborg blew through Beast Boy and Selina, typing furiously to save the terminal.

The virus was too fast and deadly, the screens glitched out and showed Alibaba's virtual avatar smirking.

"Testing, testing, 1,2,3! Operation Broadcast is in full effect, suck it Justice League!" Alibaba smirked.

"I can save this, I can save this!" Cyborg said pathetically as he ran a diagnosis and tried to get past Alibaba's firewalls.

"Yeah, no." Catwoman wrapped her whip around Cyborg's legs and took his feet from under him. Beast Boy was quick to rush up and put his friend in another hold.

"You won't get away with this! There will be nowhere to run! NOWHERE TO HIDE! I'll find you! ALL OF YOU!" Cyborg roared.

"Shuddup! I already got your little passcodes. And now the whole world will know how much you all suck in three, two…."

Meta Containment

"REPORT IN! ANYONE REPORT IN!" Batman hissed as he attacked Metatron. Every move was calculated from the angel, analyzing Batman's every move and quickly adapting counters to it.

Batman hissed as he was ganged up on with Donna, Talia, and Starfire. This was going south fast, Steel's drones on Earth were coming but that would take a while. He had no grasp on the situation outside, but he gathered the idea from the explosions. And the deafening roar that shook the very tower. No one was answering their comms but on the off chance.

"This is Batman. The Watchtower is under attack. Priority S, I repeat, Priority S. Any and all heroes available please respond. I repeat- *static* heroes *static* respond *SIGNAL LOST*" He cursed as he looked at Joker, the boy smirked back right at him.

Batman glared. This must have been what Selina was tasked to do. Total radio silence, as they used the Watchtower's main frame.

BOOM!

The demons came stampeding in. Hissing at the holy beings but charging in to help nonetheless. Batman glared as the hordes approached.

"Batman! Superman! You're surrounded on all sides, and soon the world will know what a hypocrite your little League is! Play it!" Joker ordered. Superman rushed to stop the leader, but Mary and Zauriel were quick to protect him, blasting him away with their holy power.

"Superman! Use your full power! DO IT NOW! NO HOLDING BACK!" Batman barked in anger.

"I won't kill these kids, Batman. Not even on accident, you of all people should respect that." Superman grunted as he slammed Mary into a wall, and blasting Zauriel with his heat vision. But Raven, Noir, Crow, and Zauriel all were quick to charge in their absence.

"Such power held back in a cowardly man. Disgusting." Crow hissed as he unleashed an almighty attack on the hero.

"Do NOT underestimate him! Do not take his hesitance as cowardice, he could wipe us out with no issue!" Raven shouted at Crow.

"Testing, testing, 1,2,3~! Operation Broadcast is in full effect, suck it Justice League!" Alibaba chimed through the whole tower's announcers.

"No…" Batman hissed as the whole Tower lost power. The demons finally closed in and swarmed him, the massive numbers were impossible to combat. Metatron used this to his advantage, he attacked with his sword dance. Swords surrounded Batman and the demons he fought off. Through the chaos, the persona's aim stayed true.

"AHH!" Batman was stabbed brutally through the torso. Metatron was quick to blast away the demons with his holy power. Batman laid prone on the ground, still roaring as he fought off the feral demons still alive. Metatron laid his foot on the hero's stomach. Batman growled at the angel who stood tall above him.

"I have made sure no vital organs have been injured. However, I cannot say the same for your blood system. Cease your stubbornness, before I pull the blade out and make you pass out from the blood loss." Metatron threatened calmly.

"Go ahead, kill me. It will only make you all look worse." Batman spat blood on Metatron's boot. He tried to get a grip on the angel's leg, but Starfire quickly stopped that by easily breaking his arm.

"That was for Dick, you sick, monster." Starfire glared coldly down at him. Batman screamed in pain as Donna went in for his other.

"AGHHH!" Batman screamed as his other arm broke.

"And that is for Diana." Donna hissed.

"I said pass out, not kill Dark Knight. Wouldn't want my Trickster's message to be twisted later on." Metatron said.

Batman glared at the angel as Donna, Talia, and Starfire all prevented the more feral from attacking him. All he could do was watch as Superman fought to save him, the message being played on the intercoms for all the heroes to hear.

"People of the World. The Justice League has failed you. The Justice League has failed their promise." A distorted voice said. Batman knew it was Alibaba, he could practically hear her smirk through her voice.

Superman crushed and blasted away the demon hordes as Raven, Noir, Crow, and Zauriel went to attack. Raven blasted Superman with a powerful curse attack, hitting right into his flesh, through the torn pieces of his suit in his torso. Superman hissed in pain, but blasted her with his freezing breath, Raven was stilled by it.

"The promise to protect and uphold the essential call for justice!" Alibaba hissed.

Superman was quick to use her as a weapon to slam into Crow. The boy dodged, but the impact on the ground still rattled Raven hard. Noir was quick to blast her harshest psychic attack, the blasts again making Superman grunt in pain.

Superman gritted his teeth, grabbing his head from the intense pulsing pain. Demons were quick to gnaw on his legs and cape. Crow rushed in to deliver another almighty swipe.

"A decision was made in their so-called 'Hall of Justice'. A decision to let you all rot in the abyss of corruption that overtakes the world more and more every single day…" Alibaba continued.

"It's over, hero. Now!" Crow hissed.

Zauriel and Joker both charged at the Man of Steel. Joker concentrated on his almighty attacks, and Zauriel channeling all of his power into his fiery blade.

Joker blasted Superman brutally in the head, the hero reeled back leaving an opening in his chest. Zauriel roared as his sword's fire turned into a blinding light.

SLASH!

Blood was drawn brutally and the cut burned into Superman's muscle tissue. The hero screamed in agony. He grabbed Zauriel's head and slammed it on his knee at supersonic speeds.

Zauriel's skull almost caved in from the force, but the damage was still great, making the angel's brain slam against his inner walls from the force. Zauriel dropped unconscious from it immediately.

"And these hypocrites have locked away the only person who dared stand up for you all in that all. Wonder Woman has been imprisoned for quitting the League and choosing to stand by the people!" Alibaba exclaimed.

"MY WORD! YOU ALMOST KILLED HIM YOU FIEND!" Mary hissed at Superman in disappointment, for a man claiming he was holding back Superman was being needlessly brutal.

Superman ignored her as he continued his onslaught. He was furious at the audacity of these children claiming he was a hypocrite. He didn't throw away his values, they stole the chance he had to make it alright by invading the tower. But now he knows the error of his ways.

"We will not stand by such corruption. We will not stand for such hypocrisy." Alibaba declared.

Superman reeled back and slammed the ground, all the demons around him were blown back by the shockwave. He took off towards Crow and smashed the boy's head against the wall, breaking his arms and legs like twigs for good measure.

"We call upon you to reject these false idols!" Alibaba roared.

Superman hissed at her words, his very belief structure was being challenged. Only Luthor would have the power to do that and get away with it. Today that changed it seems.

"Reject your faith in the system that failed you! And believe in us to finally change it." Alibaba exclaimed.

Superman fought off a large elite demon and slammed it to the ground, he tried to clear his head of his anger. Even with Luthor, Superman at least considered his point of view. The system is broken, Clark could admit that. The endless war for justice doesn't end with the bad guys, but with society at large. That's what he was brought to this planet to do, to inspire hope, and be a beacon of light to the world. Superman saddened, why has such actions failed to such a degree.

Noir charged at Superman with all her might, shields erected form his attacks. Superman dodged as Noir landed a power psychic blast on the area. The demons around her roaring in pain from the mental stress.

"To bring down the 'heroes' who look down upon us like they are gods! To bring down the tower that watches your every move!"

Superman flew through hordes of others to attack Raven. The poor girl couldn't dodge his blows, how on Earth did they convince her? Have they managed to become so out of touch with the people to bring the Titan to view siding with her abusive father as a better option?

Superman blasted back in pain, Joker taking him on single handedly with Messiah Picaro.

Superman dodged the boys attacks, his speed not allowing a single hit. Superman considered the boy in front of him. A greatly intelligent teen with powers and allies beyond his comprehension. The Man of Steel mostly ignored Joker's fast conquering of Hell, it eased the belief that he was a force of evil, a convenient truth that allowed the League to judge them as worse than them. But with Heaven...the summon...Mary...the Virgin Mary his adoptive parents taught him to pray to...was in tears with concern for the boy.

Superman had to keep on his toes with every movement now, both Joker and Noir attacking in tandem as he navigated his conflictions. He saw the conviction and determination on the two's faces. It made him recall Joker's utter hate and disgust in his eyes moments before. Not the hate like his other villains have given him before. Rather, the hatred made by Superman's reluctance to see it from Joker's perspective, the perspective Diana pleaded them all to consider.

"And what have I done for her? Not make up my own mind and yield to the vote. Pathetic, cowardly." Superman insulted himself. As leader in all but name of the Justice League, people look to him for guidance in their morality. He allowed Bruce to take care of the situation and take it too far. Imprisoning Diana? Threatening the same to the dissenting Titans? Both choices he wouldn't take personally, it went too far.

…Bruce always had the tendency to take things too far...

"Believe in that! Believe in the Phantom Thieves of Hearts!" Alibaba almost pleaded in her tone.

Superman furrowed his brow as the words struck him. The fight took more and more of a sideline as his resolve started to wane. These kids like Diana declared not even a day ago were plead for a hero, begged the League to overstep Batman's control and seek to stop the demon that captures them. Basically offering themselves as allies in the name of justice, if the League put Batman out of the equation this one case.

…And Superman turned it down. His respect and trust in Bruce winning out, not daring to sully the myth and rules Batman set for metas and humans alike. Superman gritted his teeth, angry at himself for letting his bond with Bruce overshadow the right course of action.

Lois was right to be mad about this. The Titans were right in being mad about this. Diana had the right to be disgusted at him. But most of all…

"All those corrupt souls with distorted desires...We will take you down without fail."

Joker...The Phantom Thieves...They had absolutely earned the right to look at Superman and the League at large with such bitter hate. Why wouldn't they have...when the League proved them right in the broadcast being played right this moment.

"And those who are innocent...you have nothing to fear. This has been a Phantom Thieves broadcast." Alibaba concluded.

"SUPERMAN! THE CELL! DON'T LET THEM FREE WONDER WOMAN!" Batman roared.

Superman shook his inner turmoil away. He noticed both Noir and Mary were holding him off...but Joker was nowhere to be seen. The two women were surrounding him with hundreds upon hundreds of demons...Through his weakening resolve, he allowed Joker to rush past him and to the cell door.

HISSS!

Joker smirked as he and Messiah Picaro stood in front of the cell door. The blast shields were slowly being pulled away from the glass. Oracle finally bypassed enough security to unlock them.

With Superman being slowly but surely overwhelmed, Joker snuck away through the hordes. The hero was so lost in his increasingly difficult battle that it was easy to pass him.

"NO!" Batman hissed as the broadcast played. The message that the Justice League has failed, that only the Phantom Thieves could fix the corrupt society down on Earth.

The numbers were overwhelming. Demons, angels, and metas alike were attacking him and Superman on all fronts.

Joker panted in exertion, the intensive and stressful planning all lead to this. It's been a while since he planned for something that wasn't forced upon him by an annoying imp. To save someone on his own accord, to prove himself just and rebel against the society around him in his own way.

The barriers and glass separating him and his new ally moved up. Slowly her figure was revealed. The one Founder who dared to side with him, stood upright and proud in her convictions.

Wonder Woman stood bound in her meta cuffs, and met Joker's eye. The woman towering over him even without her warrior heels.

"We finally meet again, my Princess." Joker bowed dramatically.

Diana offered a chuckle at his antics. Donna sure didn't lie about the boy's dramatics.

"The pleasure is all mine. Though I fear under less than ideal circumstances" Diana said.

"I'm just glad I managed to convince one of you. Remind me to give your sister something special for her great reporting." Joker retorted as he walked to her cuffs.

"It should infuriate you that it is only one, Joker. They claimed I was turned by my culture of all things. Like I'm a brainwashed cult member, like my entire race is nothing but that! After all the battles I've fought with them…" Diana said somberly.

Joker pulled out a lockpick and freed her from her meta cuffs. She stood still for a while.

"We'll prove them wrong. About everything, I swear it." Joker held out his hand.

Wonder Woman took a long sigh at the state of things. All of her supposed friends against her, her entire race of sisters fighting for this mere boy. A boy who yields Ares in the palm of his hand, and the new Lord of Hell in the other.

But her young sister stood by Joker and all he stood for. Still critical in some aspects, but overall forming a reluctant bond. Diana supposed the same could be said for her. She took his hand and the two walked out and looked at the chaos before her. While she felt empathy for her past friends being so overwhelmed, she pushed it down for her moral standing.

"This charade of justice ends here, Bruce." She glared at Batman as he was finally put into a hold on all fronts, not a single limb or finger unattended.

"DIANA PLEASE! THIS ISN'T THE WAY! I'm sorry for letting it go too far but-" Superman pleaded as he fought off hordes and hordes of demons.

Wonder Woman flew up to Superman and punched him brutally to the ground. She quickly used all her strength to hold him down and cuff him with her own cuffs. The things coming to life and quickly adapted to Superman's weakness. The little specks of Kryptonite sparked to life and burned into Superman's wrist

"Your hope was corrupted by your own doing, Kal. Call me what you want. An enemy, a hostage, a brainwashed damsel, it only shields the truth. Bruce has led you all astray with his paranoia. Unlike you all I have faith in the gods, faith in my morals, and most of all; faith in this young man's actions." Diana motioned to Joker.

"You're a damned fool. Blindly following in the cult of your people." Batman spat.

Donna was quick to kick him in the gut for his words.

Diana glared Batman down fiercely.

"And you're not? Stubbornly clinging to the old tactics? Refusing to be open to new ones? So blind your own son comes to stop you. And what do you do? You break him, like he was always scum off the streets." Diana challenged.

"Traitors, traitors all around me! Only one thing left to do…" the general hissed.

"Manhunter, Protocol Nest." Batman said.

Diana and Superman widened their eyes. They knew what that protocol was for.

"Joker, we have to get out of here! The whole League will soon be here!" Wonder Woman yelled.

"Not yet…" Joker said, he was so close.

"Batman...all teleporters are down, I'm unable to get them back online. All power to comms has been shut off." Manhunter telepathically called.

"It's over Bruce. Your tower is taken over, all the League onboard are being overwhelmed. I've cleared the entire tower of civilians, and told the whole damn world what you really are. Just say the words. Say I've won, and maybe the demon will be satisfied." Joker glared at the man before him.

"The entire world...that was your one undoing. Everyone knows your name. It's just a matter of getting them here." Batman said.

"DAMMIT JUST LET ME FREE YOU BASTARD!" Joker punches Batman in the face, the anger getting to him.

"Joker! Let's just go! We already freed Diana! That's all we came for! It's over!" Donna looked at Joker.

"For you Donna. Not for me…"

"We don't even know if those words would make us free. Joker...we have to go." Noir grabbed his arm. Joker looked over his shoulder, the demon hordes still trying to hold off the feral. Superman laid down, silent watching the whole thing unfold.

"Joker...you'll never be free. This day insured that. Cyborg! Protocol Override, bring them here. NOW!" Batman hissed.

"Batman...I…"

"CALL THEM J'ONN! END THIS NOW!" Batman roared.

Field Deck

Cyborg roared as the message played. The Phantom Thieves mocking him in his failures, Beast Boy holding him down and allowing it to happen. He was furious!

"No...NO!" Cyborg hissed as he heard the message play. He was not a hypocrite! The League is not a failure! Everything he has worked for cannot be corrupt! The Phantom Thieves are liars, terrorists! Hiding behind their "captor" as an excuse for their crimes! Cyborg wouldn't stand for this! HE WOULNDN'T LET THE ONLY HOME HE KNEW BURN TO THE GROUND!

Cyborg tried to roll Beast Boy off of him. The green hero refusing any leeway. Cyborg gritted his teeth. He had to defeat the Phantom Thieves! WHY WAS HIS FRIEND REFUSING TO SEE THAT?!

"Garfield! Get off and help me! This is too far! You can't burn everything I-The League has built!" Cyborg yelled.

"The world deserves the truth Vic. What they did to us and Wonder Woman wasn't right. They have to face some heat for this shit!" Beast Boy hissed back.

"SOME!? The whole League will be torn apart by this! What about all the dangers the League prevents?! Destroying the trust in that will just let the bad guys get their way!" Cyborg spat back.

BOOM!

"Hurry it up kiddies, I can hear the roar of the hordes from here. Not much longer before we should split." Selina grumbled to Oracle.

"The Phantom Thieves has done more in two months in true crime stopping, than the League has in years. Aren't you tired of the constant jailing of crooks just for them to get free?! The Phantom Thieves are the only shot at true peace!" Beast Boy spat.

The roars are getting closer and closer. Cyborg was making no headway with his friend. Everything Cyborg loved was collapsing in on itself, his friends, his family, his work, his home.

"Garfield please…" Cyborg begged.

Beast Boy's eyes softened. He never saw his friend so distraught in his life. Beast Boy could tell his friend was struggling to hold back tears. Immense guilt filled the green hero's chest. Everything else seemed secondary for a moment as he saw his friend in need. Beast Boy wished things were different, that Cyborg could see through his blind loyalty...but...He couldn't just let the world revert back to the way it was...There was too much pain, suffering, and death because of the League's inability to truly stop the criminal element.

This...Where he was now...was the only option to fix things for everyone. Beast Boy shed a tear, knowing what it meant for his friendship with Cyborg.

"Victor...I...I can't. I can't just let this endless war continue. Why can't you see that?" Beast Boy's tears flowed down his face. He knew with Cy's emotions, he only heard the first sentence. Those two words replaying over and over in his head.

The simple words…"I can't".

The words shuck Cyborg to his core. Why? Why isn't his best friend helping him? Why isn't he by his side and taking down the bad guys like they always did. Why wasn't he aiding the one place where the two of them didn't feel like freaks of nature? Why? WHY WAS HE BETRAYING HIM AND THEIR HOME?!

Anger, no fury and despair filled Cyborg's whole soul. He looked at the person he called his "friend", a little brother, throwing everything given to him. Throwing away the only option for guys like them. At that moment he knew their paths were separating. That after this, it would never be the same. Beast Boy might throw away everything given to him, but Cyborg sure as hell won't.

"Garfield... You, Dick, and of you are going down. I ain't holding back 'cause of memories anymore." Cyborg hissed.

"Cy I- AHHHH!" Beast Boy roared in pain.

Cyborg unleashed a massive shock charge right in Beast Boy's chest. The high voltage caused the green hero to seize up, allowing for Cyborg to get a grip on his throat and slam him to the ground.

"Cyborg...Batman has instructed me to-" Manhunter called into the boy's mind.

"Protocol Override? Yeah, I'm on it." Cyborg reeled back and delivered a finishing blow to Beast Boy.

"Shit. Show's over kids, get the princess and bail!" Catwoman called. She left the terminal and rushed to Cyborg, preparing her whip to attack.

Cyborg quickly fired a barrage of energy shots at the thief. Catwoman dodged them and used her claws to try and damage his armor.

"Too little too late kid. The demons are already here." Selina smirked.

Cyborg slammed her to the floor with a massive force. A final kick left the underpowered woman in a heap on the ground. But in her pained state she still smirked up at him.

Cyborg saw the demons charge in through all the entry points. He glared at them down, but turned his back in favor for the main terminal.

"They won't matter. They won't matter at all." Cyborg hissed.

The demons surrounded him on all sides, hissing and roaring as he typed furiously on his arm. Both of his arms morphed in various tiny appendages or plug ins for the computer. He quickly put up a force field around himself. The demons all swarmed at it, clawing and biting. It wouldn't last for long.

"I won't fail them. I can't fail them." Cyborg jammed all his systems into the terminal.

BOOM!

Energy crackled and roared painfully out of Cyborg's body as he worked on the terminal. His tiny appendages typing at super speeds as he worked through Alibaba's virus. He gritted his teeth as he forcefully restored power to the tower, working hard to start the backup Hydrogen Generator. If he couldn't get through the virus, he would go around it!

"AHHHHHH!" Cyborg cried in agony. His internal systems blaring to stop giving his life force away to forcefully overtake control. He ignored them, he ignored the annoying shriek of Alibaba as he blasted through her firewalls, and he ignored the hundreds of demons breaking through his weakened field.

"TELEPORTERS BACK ONLINE! REROUTING ALL COMMAND TO BATCAVE!" The computer chimed.

Cyborg fell to the ground as his systems ran cooling protocols. The demons swarming his body and tearing him apart piece by piece.

He did it...He saved the Tower and now the Phantom Thieves would have to start all over again to gain control. Even if they did, they would have to find and break into the Batcave to gain access. It was over. He won.

The vindication outweighs all the pain the demons dealt. His sacrifice would not be in vain.

Batman had just roared to Manhunter to activate Protocol Override and Nest. If Joker didn't know about the Manhunter's powers, he would have thought Bruce had finally snapped.

Joker stood over Batman as he weighed his options. Forcing Bruce to utter the worlds were not worth his entire team risking capture. His main objective was completed, he was pushing his luck and he knew it.

"We're leaving." Joker ordered as he glared down at Batman.

"Nice of you to come to your senses." Crow retorted.

"Batman...teleports are back online. I'll give the word." Manhunter called.

Batman didn't say a word. He had to bide his time. Superman didn't offer any either.

Joker turned his back to the Dark Knight, and right as he did he got the call.

"*STATIC* JOKER! GET OUT OF THERE! I LOST CONTROL OF THE TOWER! THEIR COMING SOON!" Alibaba hissed.

Joker looked over his shoulder to Batman. Batman huffed in pain as his broken arms ached as he looked at the boy.

"Nowhere. Nowhere to hide." Batman said again.

Throughout the hall, multiple demons were downed easily. In an instant hundreds of demons and angels were defeated and rushed through.

Starfire and Donna were quickly thrown off Batman. Electricity shocked through the entire room strategically, blasting the Phantom Thieves and Titans. Then it tried to assault Joker with Messiah Picaro still summoned.

"AHHH!" Flash was blown back to the floor. He used his speed to right himself and land on his feet. He glared down the boy, calculating thousands of ideas a second to bypass the Trickster.

"Barry." Wonder Woman offered.

"Diana." Flash answered.

Monitor Womb

Seconds Earlier

Martian Manhunter fought off the hordes of demons. Lavenza roaring with her fire spells all around, the demons doing the same. J'onn hissed in pain with every blow, trying to let himself phase through all his enemies. But it was no good, he had to risk it.

J'onn turned invisible and allowed himself to become completely untouchable. Only his paranoia of fire could distract him now.

He focused his power into his mind and sent out a psychic message to all the heroes he could think of.

"UP! UP!" Lavenza ordered as she shot fire in the sky. The demons were quick to follow, the air was filled with a field of hot fire.

J'onn's paranoia got the best of him as he tried in vain to dodge. But he already did his duty, he used his shifting to smash a large area of demons.

Lavenza shielded her face from the shockwave.

"It is too late, girl. I did my part." J'onn gritted out.

The heroes below received the word. All are to drop everything and rush to the Tower, if the Phantom Thieves message didn't convince them, J'onn's call will.

May 30th, Evening

Metropolis

Clear Skies

"This is a Daily Planet emergency broadcast." the announcer said.

The camera flicked to chaos on the streets, fires roared as police sirens roared throughout the streets. Lois Lane stood in front of it all, microphone in hand.

"The is Lois Lane, on the ground after the chaos brought by the Phantom Thieves message. Rioters were quick to overtake the streets, all work and schooling grinded to a halt. The question remains. Just what is happening up in the Watchtower? And where is the assurance of safety from the Hall of Justice in Washington DC?

And where are all the diplomats and crew on board? Furthermore"

A random citizen rushed Lois and grabbed her mike.

"FREE WONDER WOMAN!" the girl screamed.

Lois was quick to push her off and police were quick to escort her away.

"*ahem* There is also the issue of the message as well. Just what caused the arrest of Wonder Woman? And why are the Phantom Thieves seeking to free her? We'll bring you the answer as they come and-"

BOOM!

The camera was quick to aim at the millions of drones rocketing up through the sky. Everyone knew the place they came from. Steelworks.

Lois Lane turned back to the camera after a shocked and worried look was quickly turned back into a professional frown.

"Please, everyone. Stay inside, lock your doors, and hold strong. Don't believe a hijacked broadcast made by a group we barely know anything about. The Phantom Thieves seek to displace faith in the League. They seek to use your anger and bring down the people who work so hard to keep you safe. Do not let them. They say have faith, well as much as I criticize them, I have faith in the Justice League. And after all the years and deaths they prevented, you should too. Louis Lane signing out."

CLINK!

Lex Luthor turned the television off and stood up in his chair. He turned to his window and saw the many tine specks flying upwards into the sky. Steel's little bots were going to little.

"Sir?" A secretary asked.

"Get the Commissioner on the line. Give them some of our forces. Not the ones that shot to kill." Luthor said.

The secretary nodded and rushed off. Luthor poured a glass of wine and took a long sip. He held it up to the sky and smirked.

"It has been quite a while since I agreed with the youth. Here's to the Phantom Thieves, though I fear you too must bow to me." Luthor took another long sip.

Surely this amount of chaos and distress will turn the public more against metas. All it took was a little more of a push.

Luthor turned his head to look at the multiple presidential posters all over the multiple skyscrapers. In the chaos people flock for rulers and order, and with all the pressure from years and years of damage from the League and their enemies…

He'll finally put in place a system to wipe them all out. The Phantom Thieves will be defeated. Superman and his little League will be defeated.

Lex Luthor will stand on top of them all. First the country, then the world…

Metas will be a thing of the past, and Lex Luthor will finally replace the Man of Steel as humanity's champion.

It's just a matter of putting the right pieces in motion.

AN: Once again, my chapter is too long and must be broken apart. Sorry about the constant cliff hangers everyone. But with the length cut in two comes a more fast approaching chapter. In addition the final progression into the halfway point of this arc. At least in terms of planning TwT.

Love all of you and your support! Sorry my little bonus turned into an entire chapter.

See ya soon.
