It was a beautiful day in Adventure Bay, birds were chirping and Ryder and the pups were lucky enough to have some time off after some rescues.

Chase took this time to finally admit and plan out his upcoming date with Skye, he just had to hope she agreed.

The pup approached the aviator pup and greeted her.

"Um hi Skye." Chase nervously said.

"Hi Chase!" The pup said greeted back optimistically.

"Hey...Skye...would you like to, I don't know, spend some time with me later?" Chase asked as his face began to heat up.

Skye's face began to heat up as well the second she heard that question.

"Is he really asking me out on a date?" Skye thought to herself.

The moment between the two was awkward, just silence as Chase was fidgeting around nervously.

Skye noticed this and finally responded to the pup.

"Oh! Yes! I would--I would love to!" Skye finally answered.

Chase's muzzle lit up with excitement at the answer.

"Oh great! I'll come by your pup house later tonight." Chase said.

"Ok! See you then!" Skye waved.

Some time passed as the sun already set, Chase was pacing back and forth inside his pup house, nervous on how he was tell Skye his feelings.

"Ok Chase, you can do this, you can tell Skye how you feel, Ryder already got the go-ahead so you and her should be fine." Chase explained to himself as heard a knock on his door.

He opened up the door and saw the Dalmatian that everyone knew, his best friend, Marshall.

"Hey Chase, you ok? I heard you talking to yourself." Marshall asked with some worry in his voice.

"I'm alright, just a little nervous, that's all." Chase replied.

"About your date with Skye?" Marshall asked.

"H-how'd you know?!" Chase yelped.

"Well, I saw you and Skye talking earlier so I figured that you finally asked her." Marshall smiled.

"So you sort of eavesdropped on us, right?" Chase asked.

"Well, I wouldn't say that, but yeah, pretty much." Marshall replied.

"You know that's not a good thing right? Don't do it again." Chase nudged the Dalmatian.

"Yes sir!" Marshall jokingly saluted.

"Well, I'm gonna go get her, make sure Ryder doesn't wait up, we'll be back in an hour or two." Chase said.

"You got it, good luck pal!" Marshall waved as he went in the Lookout where the rest of the pups were.

Chase walked to Skye's pup house and knocked, waiting for a response, which he got moments later.

"Hi, Chase!" Skye greeted.

"Hey Skye! You ready to go?" Chase asked.

"Yeah, Ryder's okay with this right?" Skye asked.

"Oh yeah, I told him about it earlier, he said it was fine as long as we don't stay out too late." Chase replied.

"Okay, lead the way officer." Skye smiled.

Some time passed as the two made their through the nearby forest, the full moon shining near the two.

Chase stopped and took this opportunity to tell Skye his true feelings.

"Hey Skye, I need to tell you something." Chase nervously said.

"What is it Chase?" Skye asked.

"Well, I've been meaning to tell you this, I...I really--." Chase stopped as he heard sticks breaking nearby. "Did you hear that?" Chase asked.

"Yeah..." Skye replied as she got closer to Chase.

"Who's out there? Come out!" Chase got into a defensive position.

The noises stopped as Chase scanned the area.

"I guess it was nothing, we should--." Chase was knocked down by a large creature.

"Chase!!" Skye called out.

The large wolf growled at the aviator pup and went towards her, as Skye backed up, Chase got in front of her, not letting the wolf scratch her but rather him instead.

Chase scratched back at the creature, causing some damage to it's muzzle.

"Skye, stay behind me!" Chase ordered.

The wolf growled at the two and soon left them.

"That was close, are you okay Skye?" Chase asked.

"I'm fine, let's head back to Ryder and the rest." Skye suggested.

"Yeah, lead the way." Chase winced in pain as he followed Skye.

"You're hurt!" Skye helped the pup.

"I'll be fine! We just need to head back to the Lookout!" Chase stated.

"Man, how does Apollo even do all that?" Rocky asked the other pups.

"Well, he is Apollo, I don't think anything can stop him!" Rubble assured.

"Hey, where's Chase and Skye by the way?" Rocky asked.

"Oh, they went--." Marshall's answer was cut off by Skye's voice, which they heard outside, Ryder and the pups quickly ran outside to check was going on.

As they went outside, they saw Chase, bleeding from his side, it wasn't too bad but if untreated, would lead to an infection or worse.

"Chase!" Marshall ran up to help keep the pup from hitting the ground.

"I'm...I'm fine, just need to get to the...Lookout." Chase said between breaths.

"Come on, help me get him inside!" Marshall ordered.

"I got him!" Ryder said as he picked up the Shepherd and brought him into the Lookout.

He laid him down gently on the floor as Marshall got his bandages from his pup pack.

"What happened?" Marshall asked.

"Well, we were just walking in the forest and he wanted to tell me something but we were attacked by a big wolf! He...he saved my life, if it wasn't for him then I would've--." Skye started to tear up as Rocky comforted her.

"Hey, relax now, it's over okay? He's going to be fine, Marshall will make sure of that." Rocky calmed the pup down.

Skye wiped the tears from her muzzle and hugged Rocky back.

"It's just...the fact that he risked his life for me, he really does care about me, about all of us." Skye said as she still wiped the tears from her muzzle.

"Alright, I bandaged up his wound, it wasn't too bad, he should be fine." Marshall explained to everyone. "Skye, you should get some rest, we'll check up on him in the morning."

"I'm not leaving his side!" Skye yelled out.

"Ok, ok! Relax." Marshall defused. "Stay with him, alright?"

Ryder went up the elevator as the pups went to their pup houses to sleep.

Skye lied down next to the Shepherd and nuzzled him.

"Thank you for saving me."
