Louis was slightly weirded out by this James Tichner. He was a resident at NYU-Langone medical center and NYU was a client. He apparently was gay and dating their new associate, Jesse Houlihan, and gave him two opera tickets in exchange for him giving Jesse a box of chocolates and saying it was from him. James said NYU was pleased with their work. This confused Louis as he couldn't remember the firm representing any medical personnel before at NYU. With their huge caseload he probably forgot.

But the more immediate concern was a legal one. As far as he knew, Jesse hadn't told the firm he was gay and was under no obligation to do so. But he knew coming out is a gay person's choice and Louis was afraid he could be slapped with a discrimination lawsuit for outing him at work. But like how the devil tempted Eve to try the forbidden fruit, James had managed to seduce him into agreeing to his demands. He didn't use any old opera tickets. No, he got him two tickets to a performance of Madama Butterfly, and the glorious soprano Anna Netrebko was singing the part of Butterfly. He could already hear her angelic voice soaring through the auditorium. So, Louis being a man who loves creature comforts gave in.

Jesse spent the first couple hours of the day, going over a stack of briefs that Harvey gave him. The sound of heavy footsteps announced the presence of Louis Litt, bringing all chatter in the bullpen to a halt. Most of the associates were terrified of the man as if he were with the Gestapo or KGB. Keep you head down and don't make eye contact, Jesse thought to himself, while silently praying that he wouldn't approach him. His prayers weren't answered. "Jesse", Louis spoke to him holding a box of chocolates. Okay is this a Roger Ailes situation; you'd think he'd be less open about it? Jesse wondered. It turned out that the answer was worse. "Jesse your boyfriend brought this for you", Louis said. Jesse's heart practically leapt into his throat. He looked around, and to his horror there were people around him, and who had clearly heard. A particularly arrogant associate, Kyle was giving him a smirk. Oh, please shoot me.

His voice shaking, he accepted it and thanked Louis before he ran to the bathroom and threw up. I was just outed I can't believe this. He let the tears flow for a few minutes, but then decided to go out and face the world. Hey this is awful but, I can do this Jesse thought, I'm a Harvard grad with an amazing job this can't stop me. With that thought he decided to wash his face a little bit and go to the breakroom to get himself a cup of coffee.

Harvey Specter had watched the scene unfold in the bullpen with horror. For some reason he had now forgotten, he was going to get Jesse to look over a new document. After years of working with the man, thought he had lost the ability to be shocked by Louis's stupidity and ineptitude, but this was on a whole new level. The firm could very well end up being sued for discrimination. A gay employee suing for discrimination would be a public relations nightmare of biblical proportions. They represented such high-profile clients that he was sure the Wall Street Journal would write about it. It wouldn't even matter if the kid won or not, the story alone would ruin him. The public would side with the naïve, sweet Irish boy over the big scary law firm any day of the week. A small part of him was genuinely concerned about the kid too. He followed Louis into his office, walking past Norma. "Harvey what do you better need something, no more jokes about sleeping with my wife."

"Yeah, I need something why the fuck did you just out my associate!", he shouted irately.

"Harvey, I didn't mean..." Louis stammered. "No save it Louis, you did and now I have to clean up a fucking mess you made!", Harvey shouted, "You could get us fucking sued!"

Harvey turned and left before he could fly off the handle. Walking past the breakroom, he heard a conversation that enraged him even more.

Jesse poured himself a cup of coffee and was about to leave the break room when he ran into two people blocking him. His heart sunk as he recognized the arrogant smug smirk of Kyle Durant and his horrid friend Greg. "I didn't know we hired faggots", Kyle sneered," You probably used those lips to get this job. "

"No", he said, "Fucking stop it, Kyle!" Greg laughed and repeated what he said while mimicking his Irish accent. Jesse could feel the panic building in his chest.

"He said stop it", a deeper, more threatening voice said from behind. The two bullies turned around to face the one and only Harvey Specter. All color seemed to drain from their faces instantly, and their once smug faces reflected abject terror. "You two assholes go back to the bullpen I'll deal with you later, Jesse my office. Now."

Harvey and Jesse went back to his office where Mike was waiting. "Mike not now", Harvey said in exasperation. "I know about it", Mike responded, "Its spread around the firm already." Jesse's face fell as it was obvious what he meant.

Harvey turned toward Jesse. The kid seemed shell-shocked. "Hey kid we don't care that your gay, I'm sorry about what happened, I'd understand if you sued, or wanted to leave," Harvey said trying to broach the topic as gently as possible. The kid's cat-like green eyes stared back at him for a moment as if staring into his soul.

"No, Mr. Specter I won't do that, it's alright I've experienced worse before", he said raising Harvey's concern.

"Well Jesse, thanks but we want to let you know the two employees who harassed you in the breakroom will be fired...", Harvey started to say before Jesse's soft voice interrupted him," I don't want you to fire them."

Mike and Harvey stared back in shock. "I think people deserve second chances", he said. Harvey nodded. "But there's one thing…", he said grinning, "I think I need to give Louis a little scare, just go along with it. "

"Irish boy that's unprofessional behavior", Harvey said with mock disapproval.

Jesse turned to Mike and smiled, "Oh the old man is no fun is he."

The kid smiled and walked out of the room.

Mike turned to Harvey and sighed with relief. "That could've gone a lot worse", he said. Harvey nodded," He's growing on me, I like to see that spunk."

Jesse had blackmailed Louis into going home early that night, and it appeared Jamie had just gotten home as well. He was still in his scrubs. "How was the second day babe?", he asked his blue eyes sparkling. Jesse's face fell and he explained. Jamie pulled him into a bear hug, while Jesse broke down and cried on his shoulder.

Jesse finally pulled away. "Its okay fuck what the think I have you", giving his boyfriend a kiss. "I'll make dinner babe", Jamie said. A short time later, Jamie was stirring a boiling pot of pasta, his back to Jesse who was at the table drinking a beer. He couldn't believe his luck. His plan had worked perfectly. Everyone at that godforsaken office knew Jesse was his.

His thoughts were interrupted by Jesse's soft voice asking," I wonder who did this."

Jamie had to fight with everything he had to suppress a giggle.
