AN: So sorry for the long wait between uploads for this story. Balancing so many stories can be a bit tricky. Also special thank goes to Rush for writing the player pre-draft interviews on Rush's profile. Thanks again Rush.

-A Few Weeks Later: Drat Night-

-Draft Stage-

"Good evening everyone and welcome to the 2014 Blitz League Draft. On behalf of myself, the League and the teams, I'm once again honored to declare this draft... is open." Mr. Sorenson said as the tv's now showered the Cyclones logo. "The San Diego Cyclones are now on the clock." Mr Sorenson said as he quickly walked backstage to await the decision from San Diego.

-Meanwhile: Blitz League Broadcast Booth-

"And just like that, the draft is now open." Chris said as he could be found inside his studio, but he was now joined by several analysts, and a very special individual. "Tonight I'm not only joined by my fellow draft experts, but also by the 'Franchise' himself, Jordan Woods." Chris said as the camera zoomed out to show Jordan, dressed in his finest tuxedo, sitting in a chair next to Chris.

"Thanks for having me, Chris." Jordan said with a friendly smile as he and Chris exchanged a firm handshake.

"Always a pleasure to have you with us. As your well aware, the big story it two way player Lance McCain. He's going to be only the second two way player entering the league this coming season. And he's being compared to you Jordan. What do you think about this kid?" Chris asked his guest.

"I'm flattered that he's also a two way player... however that also builds a lot of high expectations. People are saying he's going to be like me... while I hope he succeeds, he's going to need a lot of talent around him to succeed. I was just a missing piece to a Hurricanes' team that had some good talent on board. Great players don't win championships, great teams do." Jordan said with a confident smile as he nodded to the camera, which earned an approving smile from all the draft experts. Chris was about to speak until his earpiece notified him of something, and a moment later the commissioner was walking back on stage...

"The San Diego Cyclones have traded their first round pick to the Baltimore Bearcats. The Baltimore Bearcats are now on the clock." Mr. Sorenson said as the Bearcats logo was shown on the televisions all the around the draft stage. A few minutes later, Mr. Sorenson was back on stage. "With the first pick in the 2014 Blitz League Draft. The Baltimore Bearcats select: Lance McCain, Receiver/Defensive Back, Alabama." Mr. Sorenson said with a big smile on his face as Lance quickly walked on stage and gave the commissioner a hug as he held up the black and orange Bearcats jersey. The televisions then shifted again showing the Brawlers logo now.

"With the Second pick in the 2014 Blitz League Draft. The Philadelphia Brawlers select: John Norris, Running Back, Texas." Mr. Sorenson announced as John practically sprinted on stage and eagerly held up the silver and green Brawlers jersey. The tv's now showed that San Diego was back on the clock having trade down to number three.

All the Cyclones fans in attendance for the draft, and back in San Diego held their breath in eager anticipation as Mr. Sorenson walked back unto the stage holding the card that held the Cyclones draft pick.

"With the third pick in the 2014 Blitz League Draft. The San Diego Cyclones select: Avery Ferguson, Running Back, Virginia." Mr. Sorenson announced as Avery quickly made his way unto the stage and shock hands with Mr. Sorenson, before holding up the blue and green Cyclones jersey.
