AN: The Wizarding World Arc will be here soon, after Harry's coronation he'll be going back to the Wizarding world.
Ch 11 The Heir of Tempest
"OW!" Harry wince in pain after feeling the prick from a needle that Shuna stuck into the draping.
Shuna gave an apologetic look to the young master, "Sorry Harry-sama, your coronation garments are way behind. Soon it's going to be your coronation day and I have many outfits to finish by that time." She apologies, taking out a measuring tape to see his thigh and calf sizes.
It's been almost a week since he and his father visited his mother's gravesite. That mini-trip bonded both of them as father and son, it also made him decide what he wants to be now.
"Shuna-sama, here's the fabric you need for the young master's coronation garments." Garm, Dord, and Myriad stood at the door frame of Shuna's little boutique she opened with the original Goblinas. They have fabrics of a myriad of colors, mostly different shades and tints of blue-greens or deep emerald green.
Shuna peeked to the side, she smiles seeing the Dwarf brothers brought in her order. "Thank you three, just leave them on the side. Haruna-san will take care of it," she informed the Dwarves as Haruna went over to deal with it.
Garm looked at the young master, seeing the templet of the soon-to-be the Prince of Monster's uniform. "Looking good, Harry-sama. I must say Shuna-sama is talented if she did the draping herself." The dark brown-haired Dwarf commented, impressed by the pieces of the soon-to-be uniform.
Harry blushed, looking at himself in the mirror in the uniform Shuna created for him. "So? How do you like it, Harry-sama?" Shuna looks at him with a bright smile.
"It looks great! Thank you, Shuna for doing this." Harry said, liking how he looks in the outfit. It makes him feel like he really belongs here. It's been almost a month and he feels more at home here, sure some people worship him here like his father. But they're respectful when worshipping him and Rimuru unlike the people back home who create made of stories about his life.
From those stories, the Wizards would kill for an autograph or have their daughters marry him. Fame is nice but to some extent, which he learned the hard way during his First Year.
"Harry-sama?" Shuna called his name, bringing him back from his train of thought.
"Yes, Shuna?" Harry asked, feeling bad for not hearing her the first time.
Shuna stood up, removing the draping from his physique. "I was saying that you have an important meeting with King Dwargo, King Farmenas, and some more who just arrived." She informed the young master.
"Another meeting? Is it always meetings with other kingdoms here?" Harry asked, dreading the day where he would take over Tempest. Attending meetings and writing decrees isn't his cup of tea.
Garm chuckles, "'Not always, the types of meetings you're expected to do is when you're older young master." The dwarf informed what to expect in the future for Harry. " Those meetings are about nation alliances, trade, current events, war, etc. If you want someone's opinion on this matter, ask Rimuru-sama."
Dord smiles at the young Majin, "Young master, you're going to be late for you're meeting." The dwarf informs the boy.
Harry looks at the clock and was surprised at the time. "Oh, right." He got down from the stand, putting on a light green jacket, "I'll see you guys later!" He waves at his subjects as he exited the shop.
"Bye, Harry-sama." Shuna waved back, walking to the fabrics to begin her work.
Harry sprints down Tempest's road, being greeted by his subjects. "Hello, Harry-sama!" A female Orc greeted her young master.
"Good morning." Harry greeted back. He passes the market area where trade took place, he senses an object hurling over to him. He caught it in his hand, seeing it was an apple.
Harry looks at where the fruit originated from, he saw one of Gabiru's followers waving at him. "You look hungry, I figured you want one of the freshly picked apples from Treyni-dono's orchard Harry-sama!" Hiryuu waved at him, with a cart of freshly picked apples. "It's on me, young master."
The young Majin took a bite of the apple, savoring the sweetness and the juiciness of the fruit. "Thank you Hiryuu for the apple!" He thanked the Dragonewt before he went back on track.
Carrera walks down the street, heading to the sweet shop for a snack. The Primordial Demon looks up, seeing the young master sprinting while eating a shining red apple. "Woah! Watch it, young master!" She smiles, stepping to the side avoiding a collision with him.
Harry skips around, facing the Yellow Primordial Demon. "Sorry, Carrera! Dad is expecting me at the town hall!" He explains before dashing off in the direction of the hall.
"Be careful and watch where you're going!" Carrera cried out before scoff and went on her way.
Harry pushed open the door of the town hall, almost hitting someone with it. "Hey Kid, watch where you're swinging that door." A red-haired man with red eyes said to the young Majin.
"O-Oh, I'm sorry sir." Harry apologizes to the red guy before him. He looks up at the man, looking down at him; Harry then noticed beside him was another man, he had blonde hair and blue eyes and had a cape on.
Leon stares at the young boy, such eagerness in his personality kinda reminds him of himself when he was his age. With one look at the Slime's son, he could tell he has a lot to learn to be a Demon Lord. "Just make sure to look where you're going." He informs the child with a harsh tone.
Once Guy saw the kid, he could tell that this was the boy in his vision. A boy who will change the world; something that is concerning but intriguing to witness for a human child. He smirks, ruffling his hair before leaving the Townhall, "See ya later kid." He said, walking through the exit with Leon.
Harry redid his hair after that man ruffled into a mess. He looks back, watching the two heading to the hotel nearby. "That was strange, who are those guys anyway?" he asked himself.
"Those two are Guy Crimson, the Primordial Demon of Red, and Leon Cromwell; the Platinum Devil." Harry turns around, seeing a two-meter tall, muscled man with blue hair. Behind him were two slightly smaller guards in armor. "They're a part of-"
"The Octagram, right?" Harry looks up, seeing a smile creeping on his lips.
The giant nodded to the boy's answer. "Yes, you are." He confirms. "I am too a member of the Octagram. I'm Dagruel or Continent's Wrath."
Harry's eyes widen, remembering slightly what Diablo taught him about the Eight Demon Lords. "Oh, you're the Demon Lord of the Giants, right? I only got up to your part in Diablo's lesson about this world." He informs the Giant.
Dagruel chuckles, liking the humor this little Majin possesses. "You're quite humorous young one, I'm looking forward to seeing what you're going to achieve." He smiles, walking over to the exit with his guards.
Harry watches the giants leave the building, out of the many Demon Lords he met so far Lord Dagruel was the most normal one out of the bunch. He introduces himself like a normal person would, not pretending to be someone else, over-excited to meet him, or seems cold. "There you are, Harry!" He heard his father called his name, immediately he turns around and saw the Slime with a few humans.
Rimuru saw his son standing near the exit, assuming that he met the Giants on the way. "I take it you met Dagruel already?" He asked his son.
"Yeah, he was nice Dad," Harry responded with a smile.
"Glad to hear." Rimuru turns to a dark-skinned man in silver armor. "Oh, let me introduce-"
The large man came up to Harry, offering his hand to the young boy. "Hello young man, I'm King Gazel Dwargo. King of Dwargon, a pleasure to meet the next leader of Tempest."
Harry obliged the handshake, a bit nervous in meeting the King. "H-Hello your majesty." He greeted him. "I'm Harry Tempest."
"Now, there's no need to be nervous my boy. Just think of me as a kind uncle," Gazel smiles, wanting to make the young Majin comfortable as possible.
The young boy nodded, his eye caught a grey-haired man walking up to him. "Hey Kid, I'm Youm Farmenas King of Farmenas Kingdom. This here is my wife-"
"Greetings young Majin, my name is Myulan Farmenas. Queen of Farmenas Kingdom," The green-haired woman looks closely at the young boy. She has never seen such a strange and unique aura around any Majin before, "I must say, I've seen my fair share of Majins before, but never I have seen an aura unique as yours Harry,"
"Um…thank you, your majesty." Harry thanked the Majin, unsure what she means by that.
"Now, now, like Gazel said. No formalities here, other than public places." Youm trails off before shaking it off. "Just call us, Uncle Youm and Aunt Myulan. No your majesties business." He smiles cheekily.
Myulan smiles at her husband's playful antics. "Yes, I do not mind you calling my Aunt Harry."
"Ohoho, now this is a nice scene right here." A silver blue-haired woman walks into the Townhall with a suspicious smile. "It seems the young heir is making friends with the other nation's leaders.
Rimuru smiles, seeing the Elf walking in gracefully in the building. "Elumeshia, I'm glad you can make it on this occasion."
Elumeshia smiles, waving her hand in the air. "When I heard you have a son, I have to see for myself." The Empress looks down at the young Majin, curious about the aura Myulan was talking about. "Mmm, interesting. I have never seen this aura in anyone before." The Elf said, finding this to be interesting.
"Um, what do you mean…um…"
"Oh, forgive me, I'm Elumeshia Elure Sarion. Empress of the Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion." Elumeshia introduces herself to the young Majin. "It's a pleasure to meet a unique child such as yourself." She smiles.
Harry nodded, smiling in return. "It's nice to meet you too your majesty." He inclines his head to the Empress.
"Harry, the leaders, and I have some important business to attend to." Rimuru told his son, "The reason I called you here is to introduce them before your coronation."
Gazel lets out a small chuckle. "And you seem to put a cool head when meeting leaders like us." He compliments Harry's calmness when meeting authority figures such as them.
"You have potential young one. Potential of being a leader." Gazel's personal bodyguard adds to his King's praises.
Youm laughs, remembering the royal lessons the former King of his Kingdom has to take. "I have to take royal lessons about punctuality when addressing my Kingdom. You're a natural for a kid at your age." He ruffs his untamed hair.
"Well, I was held as a hero back at my world," Harry told the leaders of their respected nations.
Gazel looks intrigued by this information. "Really? Might I ask what you did to earn the title of hero?" the King asked the young boy.
Harry shrugs his shoulder, thinking the Wizards' reason for celebrating him as a hero seems wrong to him. "Eh, I find the reason the people back home is a stupid one. I mean they held me as a hero that I defeated the Dark Lord."
"That's not a stupid reason," Myulan commented, a child defeating an evil being should be praised.
"You might think that, but I was still a baby when they said I defeated Voldemort." Harry sighs, knowing it was his mother's protection that made Voldemort's body disappear. "They should be celebrating my mum, not me."
Now that the leaders know why "Well that's stupid. I mean you were just an infant, you didn't know how to walk yet. Let alone being able to speak." Youm spoke his mind on this topic.
"Youm," Myulan sighs, but she too shares the feeling as her husband. A young child at that age shouldn't be held as a hero, they should be joyful and having fun playing with friends.
"T-That's what I say, but I stayed quiet since I don't want to anger them," Harry explains to the leaders.
Gazel crosses his arms, "Well I do apricate your noble intention of not destroying their hope. But you need to look out for yourself at times." He instructed the young leader.
Rimuru nodded, "You can't always hide your feelings, Harry." He added, hoping this lesson will help him grow. "You're still a person, a being with rights. You need to be open with your feelings."
"Can't agree more Rimuru." Elumeshia agrees with the Demon Slime.
Harry stayed silent, letting the words of advice resonate within him. "I-I think I understand now." He said a bit with confidence.
Rimuru placed his hand on his son's shoulder, giving him a praiseworthy smile. "I'm glad to hear that, Harry." His words gave the young heir him something to think about. "Why don't you go out and spend time in the town, I'll meet you back home for dinner."
"Okay dad, I'll see you later tonight." Harry walks to the exit leaving his father with the leaders of Tempest's allied nations.
"Rimuru, that boy is something," Gazel commented on the heir of Tempest. "I can tell he is going to be something when he gets older."
Elumeshia agrees with the Dwarf King, "He's powerful, epically with the unique skills he possesses." She looks over to the father, knowing Rimuru possesses a copy of the boy's skills. "Tell me, Rimuru. Your son, he didn't possess any skills of his own?"
Rimuru smirks, shaking his head. "No, he was a perfectly normal Wizard until I reclaim him," he informed the Elf.
"Wizards, the pre-evolutionary state of a Majin," Myulan said to herself, remembering the information she learned. "Seeing a Wizard around is quite rare Rimuru-sama."
"Yes, only remote places you may find them. I only heard rumors that they wield wands." Elumeshia commented. "A primitive way of using magic. But effective."
"I know; in any case, we should discuss the economic progress between our nations." Rimuru offered.
"You're right, meeting your heir isn't the only reason why we're here," Youm smirks. "Lead the way, master." He asked the Slime.
Soon enough the day that everyone is anticipating has finally arrived. The streets of Tempest were bustling with joy, decorations are finally set up, banners of the nation's sigil were dawned at every building for all to see.
Chairs were lined up for the special guest that arrived weeks prior. The Octagram, the Armed Nation of Dwargon, Farmenas Kingdom, the Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion, and the Kingdom of Blumund representatives, here to see the next heir of Tempest.
Harry looked at the window, seeing almost everyone outside just to see him get coronated. "That's a lot of people." He said to himself. He stood there in the outfit that Shuna made for this occasion. A white shirt with a dark green vest, he wore black pants with brown boots. Over his shoulder was an emerald green cape; his hair was slicked back with special gel from the Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion as a gift from the Empress.
"Lord Harry, your father is here to see you," Alice informed her master of the arrival of her other master.
Harry turns around, smiling at the Pale Goblina. "Thank you, Alice." He thanked his maid, watching her move to the side. Rimuru walks in wearing a white shirt and a black vest over it; black pants with black boots, and a red cape behind him. his hair was tied neatly by a ribbon in a rat tail.
"I see you're all set for today." Rimuru walks to his son's side. He looks at him with a smirk on his face, "Nervous?" he asked, seeing a bit of sweat running off his face.
Harry lets out a nervous chuckle, he'd be lying if wasn't. Of course, he was nervous, facing a huge crowd outside the buildings with Demon Lord, Leaders, and the citizens of his nation would make anyone nervous.
"Y-Yeah, just a bit." Harry confessed to his father, "A lot of people will be looking at me dad. How do you do it?"
Rimuru smiles at him, "Just take a deep breath, and relax. From there, address our citizens on what you're going to say." He advises his son on what to do when he goes outside,
The young boy nodded, looking at the window. He stills feels a bit nervous when he sees the huge crowds. "Hey, don't think they hate you, Harry. Everyone is here to support you, even if there's still untrusting to you they'll get to know you when you're on stage."
"Okay dad," Harry smiles, taking a long deep breath then smiles.
"Come here," Rimuru orders his son to come closer. He pulled him into a hug, proud to see his son growing into a fine young man right before his eyes. "I know it's been almost a month, but I'm letting you know how proud I am of you."
Harry blinks, embracing his father with all his might. "Thanks, dad. I love you."
Rimuru smiles at the words his son spoke to him. "I love you to Harry." He lets go and gave a bright smile. "Now, let's get going. Shuna will get mad if we delay the schedule for this long."
Harry giggles, knowing how Shuna is when it comes to formalities. "Okay dad, I'm ready."
The two exited the room making their way to the outside. Shuna and Shion were waiting at the back of the stage, waiting for the young master and Rimuru's arrival. "Do you think they're alright Shuna?" Shion asked, seeing it's almost time for Harry to be on stage.
"I hope so, if they don't arrive in a few minutes the crowd will get impatient." Shuna looks behind the curtains, seeing more people showed up for this event. "Huge crowds are forming already." She lets go of the red fabric and looks at the Wicked Oni.
"Shion, can you get Zegion to check on-"
"Wait! We're here, we're here Shuna." Rimuru rushed to meet the two Onis with his son in tow.
Harry huffed, regaining his composer before entering the stage. "S-Sorry, dad was giving me some advice about addressing the crowds."
Shion gave a reassuring smile. "You have nothing to worry about Harry-sama. Just go out there and be yourself."
"Yes, don't think things too much young master." Shuna gave some more encouragement to the young Majin.
"Thank you two," Harry smiles; he saw his father stepping on the stairs about to enter the front.
Rimuru turns around to his son, smiling. "When I say your name, it's your turn to enter the stage and address to our friends." He informs the boy.
"Alright,"
Once Rimuru enters the stage, the whole crowd erupts into cheers for the Demon Lord. He raised his hand and the crowd calms down. "I'd like to thank each and every one of you for attending this momentous occasion. This coronation is important not to me and my son; but for our nation's prosperity and future."
"There are most here who don't trust my son. However, I ensure you he's a kindhearted person who wants the best for our beloved nation of Tempest." Rimuru looks back at the curtains, "If you still have doubts, I would appreciate to at least listen to my son, Harry Tempest's words."
Harry jumps, he took a deep breath before walking up the stairs entering the stage. Everyone applauded to see the young heir making an appearance on stage. He looks over to his father, nodding at him.
The young heir looks at the crowd, mentally preparing himself. "H-Hello everyone, my name is Harry Tempest. I know most of the citizens don't trust me, but I ensure you that you all can trust me."
"Back at my old home, I was treated as a hero for the wrong reasons. It didn't feel like it was a home. But here, I can feel the warmth and happiness of the people of Tempest." Harry stated. "Most of you I've met, bonded over the past week and I felt I lived here forever. It felt like it was a home."
Everyone listens to the words the young master is saying, smiling that he has so much to say about them. "Each of you has something to bring to make a home here. You made me feel welcome even the distrust between us; no matter how you feel about me now. I swear by my life I will protect this way of life and the people who worked hard towards." Harry proclaims. "As the next leader of Tempest, I will lead our beautiful nation to a great future and ensure prosperity to everyone."
Everyone applauded at the speech the young Majin gave to the entire crowd. "Long live Harry Tempest! Long live the Prince of Monsters!" the citizens of Tempest cheered for Harry's proclamation to them.
The leaders and Demon Lords looked pleased by how the young boy handle things. Rimuru smiles, looking over to Diablo and Kaijin guarding the crown. "May I have the crown?" he asked the two.
Kaijin took the crown and walk over to the Demon Slime; he handed over the crown in his hands. Rimuru looks at his son, kneeling on the ground. "Harry Tempest, are you prepared to take the responsibilities of a leader with humility and grace?" he asked his son if he is prepared for what's expected of him.
"I do,"
Rimuru places the crown on top of Harry's head, he steps back letting the next heir face the crowd. "May I present Harry Tempest, the Prince of Monsters and heir to the Jura Tempest Federation!" Everyone celebrated the new heir of their nation and was excited to see what he would bring as leader in the future.
Dumbledore looked at Fawkes, knowing that Phoenixes are powerful creatures light with mysterious powers. He handed the letter to the Phoenix, walking to the window. "Go Fawkes, find Harry Potter." He said to the Phoenix.
Fawkes chirps and flies out through the window before bursting into flames. "Where are you Harry Potter," Dumbledore looks out of the window, wondering where's his tool is.
