Momma Dearest
Momma dearest.
I'm all grown up.
Now, don't worry.
I'm not sorry.
No more scraped knees,
or screams of killer bees.
I'm not so young anymore,
but I will always love you more.
No more lemonade fees,
or tickling my feetsies.
Remember when
I used to play pretend,
dress up just like you,
and wear your make up
infront of your friend.
I'm still your little girl,
I'm just not so little anymore.
It's kind of a trend,
this growing up thing, ya know.
I'll just go with the flow.
I wish it to speed up,
but you wish for it to slow.
It's been a long trek up a hill.
I might be far away,
but my heart will
always be nearest.
Oh, momma dearest.
Opinion please!
