A/N: I have already outlined a handful of these and will write and post them as I find the time. Feel free to drop suggestions of things you think "just friends" don't do, but our favourite crime-fighting duo would.

"Bones!" Booth's booming voice echoed through the lab, unapologetically disrupting the scientists working and mulling around as he jogged up the steps to the forensics platform.
"Hello, Booth." She replied calmly, unfazed by his disruption. She spared him a brief glance over her shoulder as he perched himself on a stool nearby and spun around a couple of times. "To what do I owe this visit on a case-less afternoon?" She asked, pulling the medio-cam over the Limbo bones laid out on her exam table.
"Can't a guy just swing by to say hello to his partner?" He asked, crossing his arms and grinning at her lab-coat covered back. She turned slowly, giving him a dubious expression that said she wasn't buying even an ounce of his crap. "You doing anything this weekend?" He asked, finally caving under her crystal gaze. "I'm taking Parker and a couple of his friends to that new theme park and thought you'd like to join us."
"You mean you want back up to help you with all of the children you've foolishly agreed to take." She corrected him, crossing her arms.
"Po-tay-to, po-tah-to, Bones." He told her. "The kids are all being dropped off at my place at 9am on Saturday morning. You wanna meet there and take one car, or we can swing by your apartment and grab you…" he suggested, but trailed off at her frown.
"I have a meeting with my publisher on Saturday morning. I don't think I can reschedule again. She's getting quite upset with me." She told him, and he felt himself deflate right there.
"Bones, people don't usually give you a Mercedes when they're upset with you. You hold the power in that relationship. She sees you as a little cash cow and she's gotta make you happy." He told her, hoping to win her over.
"I'm sorry, Booth. Another time." She told him and turned back to her work.
"I'm gonna hold you to that, Bones!" He told her, heading toward the stairs and off the platform, passing Angela on her way up.
"I think Booth called me a cow." He heard her tell her friend, and knew that the subsequent conversation between the two women would likely play in his favor.
…
Booth looked into the backseat at the three boys, already rambunctious and ready to scream their faces off. He could handle three 8 year olds. Easy peasy.
He was just loading the cooler into the trunk of the SUV what a shadow cast over him and he sensed someone standing behind him.
"I hope you're wearing sunscreen. The UV index is very high today." Bones informed him when he turned around and saw her squinting at him even with her sunglasses on.
"I bet you brought some of the SPF 110 stuff though, didn't ya?" He asked, unable to stop the cheek-aching grin on his face.
"Of course." She admitted, handing him her bag and walking toward the passenger side of the SUV.
As he climbed into his seat next to her. He smiled again. "So, uh, your publisher meeting get postponed or something?" He asked, and she pursed her lips, nodding gently.
"Or something." She confirmed with a dainty shrug.
