FIRE and BLOOD in Remnant

The Shining Beacons

Draegon admired the castle as he flew over it on Drogon. He saw Ozpin standing near a cliff to the forest which was called the Emerald Forest. Draegon leaned on Drogon to land and he complied.

Ozpin watched with astonishment as Drogon flew by him before circling around and slamming on the ground before him. Drogon growled and almost charged at Ozpin but Draegon whistled from his back forcing him to stop. Draegon climbed down from Drogon with his bag and once he was off, he started petting Drogon. Ozpin slowly walked up to him but once he was 20 feet away Drogon started growling. Draegon noticed it and clamed him down by soothing him.

"Shhhhh, it's okay" Draegon said as Drogon stop baring his fangs. Once he was calm Drogon crawled over to a soft spot of Grass and trees nearby and laid down and fell asleep. Draegon watched him before he turned to Ozpin as he walked up but Ozpin spoke first.

"He's a lot bigger than I thought," he said with a bit of concern. Draegon smiled "Well that picture you showed me last night was from three years ago, Dragons keep growing until they die."

"Really how old can they reach and how old is Drogon right now?" Ozpin said with a curious look.

"Well from my family's history the only Dragon to die of old age was a little over the age of 208 years old, any other Dragon never reached that age is because they were all killed in battles." Draegon looked down in sadness and Ozpin notice before he continued shaking his head to ignore the sadness. "Drogon is twenty-five years old at least. Hopefully he will be here long after I'm gone." Draegon said. "Indeed," Ozpin said a bit worried and Draegon noticed it and knew what he was thinking. "Drogon isn't going to eat humans whenever I'm gone, he will only kill them unless I or someone related to me tells him to and if he's provoked. He also doesn't like eating humans the last one he ate Drogon was picking at his teeth for three days until I couldn't take any more and went into his mouth and pulled out a broken leg bone." Draegon finished and Ozpin nodded with a little of assurance but was still worried. He saw the Bullhead coming closer and Draegon followed his gaze and saw it as well.

"Well, I have to prepare to meet our new students also I'll inform people about Drogon and that he's not a threat to anyone so that he can fly around freely without being bothered, why don't you go and try and meet them before heading to the theater." Ozpin said as he started walking away and Draegon nodded and went in the opposite direction. Draegon glanced over to see one of Drogon eyes opened and was looking at him. Draegon waved and walked away while Drogon closed it and went back to his nap.

Draegon had left his bag with the other bags that were being carried off to be placed in lockers so he felt that he could trust people moving the stuff not to lose the eggs in his bag. Afterwards Draegon came to the front of the school to see the Bullhead land close to his side.

He saw one student in white armor with a sword strapped to his side come out and throw up into a trash been. Draegon shook his head as he leaned on a tree looking at students that passed by him. He even saw Ruby again along with the blonde girl but they passed by him without even noticing.

"I guess I'm quieter than I thought," Draegon said and decided to just watch them for now and wait for the right time to step in.

"Wow," both Ruby and Yang said as they looked at Beacon academy. "The view from Vale's got nothing on this," Yang said as she crossed her arms and looked impressed but Ruby's attention was taken else were already.

"Ah Sis that kids got a collapsible staff and she's got a fire sword," Ruby said in a Chibi mode and Yang had a worried look so she quickly pulled her back to reality.

"Easy their little sister there just weapons," Yang said.

"Just weapons," Ruby spoke in disbelief. "There an extension of ourselves, there apart of us, Oh there so cool."

"Well why can't you swoon over your own weapon, aren't you happy with it," Yang replied as Ruby pulled hers out.

"Of course, I'm happy with Crescent Rose I just really like seeing new ones, it's like meeting new people but better." Ruby said a little down casted at the end.

Yang shakes her head and pulls Ruby's hood down over her head, "Ruby come on why don't you try and make some friends of your own."

"But why would I need friends when I have you," Ruby responded and pulled her hood back up.

"Well actually my friends are here now got catch up see your bye," Yang said as four people appeared out of nowhere and dashed off with Yang. Draegon looked at them as they ran off shaking his head and saw Ruby still spinning and about to do something that he would find interesting and scary in a certain way.

"Wait where are you going, aren't we suppose to go to our dorms, where are our dorms, do we have dorms? I don't know what I'm doing." Ruby said still spinning until she crashed into someone's luggage cart. Draegon closed his eyes since he didn't want to see but he heard a new voice. "What are you doing." When Draegon opened his eyes, he saw he voice belonged to a girl with pale white skin and white hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint color gradation from white to pale blue at the hem. A small piece of black lace sits in the front of her neckline and the hem of the dress is scalloped and stitched to resemble snowflakes, with layers of white tulle under the skirt. Over this, she wears a bell-sleeved bolero with the same color gradation as her dress from shoulder to wrist, lined in red and with a ruffled collar. On the back of the bolero Draegon saw the Schnee Crest. She also wears a small apple pendant on a silver chain and thin, rectangular silver earrings. Her boots are white, wedged heeled, and higher at the back than the front. They have a small silver decoration across the top of the foot and are lined in red. A thin white sash is tied around her waist with a pouch attached to the back. Finally, she had a long thin sword with a dust revolver at the hilt.

"Sorry," Ruby said trying to get back up.

"Sorry do you have any idea of the damage you could have caused," the girl said.

"Uh," Ruby said as pick up one of the cases and tried to hand it to her but the Schnee took it forcefully.

"Gimmie that, this is Dust mine and purified by the Schnee quarry," she said in anger.

"Uh," Ruby said unable to answer.

"This is going to end badly," Draegon said as he continued to watch because he wanted to see how badly it would become.

"What are you brain dead, Dust" the Schnee said as she took out one of the bottles and started to shake it near Ruby. "Fire, Water, Lightning, Energy are you even listening to me," she asked and Ruby had a look Draegon saw only once before. "Uh oh," he said and the girl continued "Is any of this sinking in. What do you have to say for yourself?"

"Achoo," Ruby said when a fire exploded Infront of the Schnee and soon afterwards.

Draegon look with astonishment and noticed one of the bottles rolling away he was about to grab it when it hit someone else's foot. The person in question was reading a book and Draegon saw she picked it up. She was wearing a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg. She also wears black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. Her emblem is visible on the outside of both thighs just below her shorts in white. On her left arm is a black detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep, and black ribbons are wrapped around both forearms. A small, loose, black scarf is wrapped around her neck, and a gray magnetic backpack is strapped to her back, hidden by her hair. She has her weapon attached to it and from what Draegon could see it was a type of sword. Also, she was wearing a bow on her head.

She turned her head and heard a scream "Unbelievable, this is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about." The Schnee was angry.

"I'm really, really sorry," Ruby said while poking her fingers.

"Uh you complete dolt, what are you even doing here aren't you a little young to be attending Beacon."

"Well, I" Ruby tried to say but was cut off.

"This isn't your ordinary combat school its not just sparring and practice you know were here to fight monsters so watch where you're going," Schnee said as she crossed her arms.

"Hey I said I was sorry princess," Ruby said defiantly.

"It's Heiress actually," said the Girl in black as she walked up to them. "Wiess Schnee heiress to the Schnee Dust Company one of the largest producers of energy propellent in the world."

"Finally, some reignition," the now identified Wiess said.

"The same company infamous for its controversial labor force and questionable business partners," the girl in black finished.

"What how dare, the, the nerve of," Wiess said in anger with Ruby giggling off to the side. Wiess had enough and took the bottle from the girl's hand and walked away.

"I promise I'll make this up to you," Ruby shouted to Wiess before sighing "Huh, I guess I'm not the only one having a rougher stay. So, what's…" Ruby tried to say to the Girl in black but saw her walking the other way. Draegon saw this as well and then the Girl in black glanced at him and he stared back and she continue walking.

"Wait is she a…." Draegon said but shook that thought away because he didn't really care what race someone was. Draegon looked back to see Ruby plopped to the ground and decided to talk to her now because she looked like she needed a friend and maybe he should thank her for convincing him to come along. As he was walking towards her Draegon noticed someone else was walking towards Ruby and probably had the same idea. Just as they were about to reach her, she spoke.

"Welcome to Beacon," Draegon and the other boy appeared hovering over her.

"That's an unusual welcome," Draegon said with a small smile and the boy held his hand out. "Hey I'm Jaune." Ruby took his hand, "Ruby," she said as she was pulled up.

"Draegon," Draegon said while looking at them both. Before Ruby chuckled and said, "Aren't you the guy who threw up on the ship." Ruby then looked to Draegon and spoke with bit of excitement "You were actually flying on a fire breathing Dragon." She had a bit of sparkle in her eyes.

Later the three were walking around the Beacon building. Jaune finally decided to break the Silence.

"All I'm saying is that motion sickness is much more common problem than people let on."

"Look I'm sorry vomit boy was the first name that came to mind," Ruby said while Draegon listened.

"Oh yeah, what if I call you crater face," Jaune said with a bit of Sarcasm.

"Hey that explosion was an accident," Ruby countered.

"Well, the names Jaune Arc, short, sweet, rolls off the tongue ladies love it." He said in confidence.

"Do they?" Ruby said questionably. "Yeah, I don't think you should introduce yourself that way Jaune," Draegon said from his other side. "A lot of people tried that way of thinking when they tried hitting on someone I knew and all of them were limping home so I don't think it would go well for you," Draegon said and Jaune got nervous.

"They will, well I hope they will, I mean my mom always says that never mind," Jaune finished and all three continued walking unsure what to talk about next until Ruby had an idea.

"So, I got this thing," Ruby pulled and unfolded her Scythe.

"Woah is that a Scythe," Jaune said a little intimidated.

"It's also a customizable high impact Sniper rifle," Ruby said happily but Jaune looked confused. "Uh what." "It's also a gun," Draegon translated for him before Ruby could answer. "Oh," Jaune said "That's cool."

"So, what you got," Ruby asked eagerly.

"Oh uh, I got this sword," Jaune said without any enthusiasm.

"Oooh," Ruby said. "Impressive," Draegon said in a slightly sarcastic tone.

"Yeah, I got a shield to," Jaune said as he pulled his swords sheath and it unfolded into a shield.

"So, what do they do," Ruby asked and touched the shield and it instantly folded back up into a sheath and Jaune dropped it. Draegon shook his head and slightly chuckled. "The shield gets smaller so when I get tired of carrying it, I can just put it away," Jaune said as he reequipped his Shield Sheath back to his waist.

"But wouldn't it weigh the same?" Ruby asked a bit confused.

"Yeah, it does," Jaune said a little down casted.

"Well, heh, I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons, I guess I did go a little overboard when I designed it." Ruby said while looking at her Scythe.

"Wait you made that," Jaune asked in surprise.

"Of course, all students at Signal forge their own weapons. Didn't you make yours?" Ruby asked and Jaune looked at his sword before replying. "It's a hand me down, my Great Great-Grandfather used it to fight in the war," Jaune said rubbing his arm feeling nervous which Draegon noticed.

"Sounds more like a family heirloom to me heh, well I like it not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days." Ruby said in a reassuring tone.

"Yeah, the classics," Jaune said with a little more confidence but still unsure so Draegon decided to give him more confidence.

"Well, you're not the only one who likes classics," Draegon said as he showed Ruby and Jaune Blackfyre. "The only thing that special about these swords is that they are lighter and sharper than normal steel. They've been in my family for 200 years but then were lost, however someone recovered them and gave them back to my family around the time I was born. So now I use them and I'll make sure they are never lost again." Draegon said with confidence while Ruby and Jaune were praising the sword. "Then how did you shoot fire the other night was that your semblance?" Ruby asked curiously. "No, my clothes are infused with fire dust and I can channel it in anyway I want." Draegon replied and Ruby nodded in understanding and then turned to them.

"So anyway, why did you guys help me out back there in the courtyard?" Ruby said as the three continued to walk.

"I guess I owed it to you since you convinced me to come to Beacon, I couldn't let you feel down on your first day, plus I was watching the whole fiasco earlier and didn't step in because it was kind of funny." Draegon said with a small smirk and Ruby slightly punched his arm and laughed as well.

"What about you Jaune?" Draegon asked.

"Ah why not my mom always said strangers are just friends you never met yet." Draegon and Ruby raised an eyebrow at that response until Ruby then noticed.

"Hey where are we going?"

"Oh, I don't know I was following you guys," Jaune said as he and Ruby stopped and were about to ask Draegon but noticed that he was walking ahead and he signaled them with his hand to follow him so they ran to catch up with him.

Later they arrived at the theaters entrance and walked through the large wooden doors. They looked around and saw all the people there and then they heard a shout.

"Ruby over here I saved you a spot," Yang shouted and waving at her.

"Oh, hey I got to go I'll see you after the ceremony," Ruby said as she ran off to go join Yang.

"Hey wait, ah great where am I going to find another nice quirky girl to talk to," Jaune said and Draegon looked at him. "I'm sure you'll manage Jaune I'll talk to you later." Draegon said as they separated not noticing the girl behind them as they went, they're separate ways. Draegon some how ended up next to Yang and she was smirking at him but before she could talk to Draegon she saw Ruby had an angry face on her.

"How's your first day going little Sister," Yang said trying to lighten her up but wasn't working.

"You mean since you ditched me and I exploded," Ruby said in anger.

"Yikes, meltdown already." Yang said. "No, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school and there was some fire and I think some Ice," Ruby said while thinking.

"Are you being sarcastic?" Yang asked with a sly smile and Draegon shook his head.

"I wish I tripped over some crabby girls' luggage and then she yelled at me and then I sneezed and then I exploded and then she yelled again and I felt really, really bad and I just wanted her to stop yelling at me," Ruby said in a speedy way and Yang was listening never noticing who was behind Ruby. Draegon notice and tried to warn them by point but neither noticed him until he was too late.

"You," Wiess shouted. Ruby jumped in fear into Yang's arms. "Oh god it happening again," Ruby said in fear.

"Your lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliffs," Wiess said in anger.

"Oh my god you really exploded," Yang said in disbelief "It was an accident, It was an accident," Ruby said as Yang put her down and Wiess held a pamphlet in Ruby's face the read "Dust for Dummies." "What's this," She asked. "The Schnee dust company is not responsible for any injuries or damages sustainable….." Wiess said as she picks up speed and began rambling that even Draegon was getting a headache. "Uh," Ruby said in confusion.

"You really want to start making things up to me?" Wiess asked. "Absolutely," Ruby said hopefully as Wiess gave her the pamphlet. "Read this and don't ever speak to me again."

"Look uh sounds like you two just got off on the wrong foot. Why don't you start over and try to be friends okay," Yang said as she rubs her hair not sure what to do.

"Yeah, great idea sis, hello Wiess I'm Ruby want to hang out we can go shopping for school supplies," Ruby said as she held her hand out. "Yeah, we can paint our nails and try on clothes and talk about cute boys like tall blonde and scraggly over there," Wiess replied in a sarcastic tone and pointed at Jaune who looked up. "Or tall and handsome like…." Wiess said as she looked at Draegon and saw his broody face as he was listening but not looking at them anymore and for some reason Wiess stopped.

"Wow really," Ruby said hopefully. "No," Wiess said killing the mood and turned away from them and was wondering what made her stop when she looked at Draegon. She noticed he had white hair like her but he wasn't a Schnee so who was he. Before she could continue this thinking, a microphone caught got everyone's attention.

"I'll keep this brief," Ozpin said as he pushed his glasses into place. "You have traveled he today in search of knowledge to hone your craft and acquire new skills and when you have finished you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people, but I look amongst you and all I see is wasted energy. A need of purpose, direction, you assume knowledge will free you of this but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you take the first step." Draegon looked down at his right hand and grasped it while his other tighten his squeeze on Blackfyre. He had a purpose it was justice he will find the remain person who killed someone he loved beyond reason and give them FIRE and BLOOD.

"Also, as I am sure some of you are aware," Ozpin added one more announcement. "Beacon will now be the home to a Dragon that turns out to be the mysterious shadow creature you've seen on the news recently." Students began whispering to each other and Ruby grinned at Draegon which both Yang and Wiess noticed. "You have nothing to fear as long as you don't provoke him." Ozpin finished before he left the stage. Glynda soon stepped forward.

"You will gather in the Ballroom tonight, tomorrow your initiation begins, be ready. Your dismissed."

"He seemed kind of off." Yang said. "It's almost like he wasn't even there," Ruby replied.

"I'm a natural blonde you know," Jaune said trying to be cool but Wiess placed he hand on her head and shaking it. Draegon shook his head as well and walked off.

Later that night all the students were in their pajamas and had their sleeping bags out. Draegon walked with a black t-shirt and red shorts for his sleep wear. He sat by someone familiar who was reading and pulled out a book of his own. The person looked up and Draegon spoke.

"Is it okay if I read here as well?" The girl who was reading was the black clothed girl with the bow on her head. She nodded and went back to her book and Draegon started reading his own. A few rows away Ruby was lying on her sleeping bag writing a letter and Yang soon plopped down next to her.

"It's like a big slumber party," Yang said happily but Ruby rolled her eyes. "I don't think dad would approve of all the boys though," "I know I do Grrrrr," Yang said looking at some of the shirtless boys but looked disgusted when Jaune walked by in kitty pajamas.

"What's that?" Yang asked trying to change the conversation. "A letter to the gang back at Signal I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going," Ruby replied. "Aww that's so cute," Yang said only to get a pillow to the face by Ruby. "Shut up," she said. "I didn't get to take my friends with me to school Its weird not knowing anyone here," before going back to her letter.

"What about Jaune he's…nice there you go plus one friend that's a hundred percent increase and theirs that cute boy you were talking to that you still haven't told me his name so that makes it two hundred percent increase," Yang said trying to cheer her up but not having much luck. Ruby rolled on her back looking at the ceiling.

"Pretty sure Wiess counts as a negative friend and Draegon had the look like he wasn't interested in making friends, back to zero," Ruby said sadly.

"There's no such thing as negative friends you just made one friend and one enemy and give him time and he'll be your friend as well," Yang said before Ruby hit her with another pillow. "Look it's only been one day trust me you've got friends all around you, you just haven't met them yet," as they were talking, they heard a match go off and saw Draegon adding more light to the candles as he was reading with the girl with the bow.

"That girl," Ruby said widening her eyes and noticing Draegon reading near her.

"You know her?" Yang asked.

"Not really she saw what happened this morning but left before I could say anything and Draegon is close by," Ruby said.

"Well now's your chance," Yang said as she started pulling Ruby towards them who was protesting because she wanted to meet Draegon and get Ruby more friends.

Draegon looked up from his book and so did the girl with the bow as they heard noises and saw Yang Dragging Ruby over to them to talk.

"Hello, I believe you three may know each other," Yang said waving while Ruby turned away with her arms crossed.

"Aren't you that girl that exploded?" she asked and Draegon shook his head.

"Uh, yeah my names Ruby but you can just call me crater…actually you can just call me Ruby," Ruby said with hesitation and embarrassment.

"Ok," the girl with the bow said.

"What are you doing?" Yang whispered. "I don't know help me," Ruby whispered back and both turned and smiled at them. "So, what's your name?" Yang asked.

"Blake," the now identified Blake answered. "Well Blake I'm Yang, Ruby's older sister I like your bow," Yang said with enthusiasm.

"Thanks," Blake said a little annoyed. "Its go's great with your pajamas," Yang continued. "Right," Blake said unsure about the question. Ruby and Yang gave a little chuckle at each because they were losing her. "Nice night don't you think?" Yang asked. "Yes its lovely almost as lovely as this book," Blake replied looking at a dumbfounded Ruby and Yang. "That I will continue to read…. As soon as you leave," Blake said with clearness.

"Yeah, this girl is a lost cause," Yang said about to turn away and talk to Draegon who was listening quietly but Ruby broke the silence. "What's it about?" Ruby asked. "Huh," Blake looked up from her book in surprise. "Your book does it have a name?" "Well, it's about a man with two souls each fighting for control over for his body." Blake said with enthusiasm and Draegon became curious as well. "Oh yeah that's really lovely," Yang said slowly and a little weird out. Ruby turned towards Draegon. "What about you, What's your book about?" Yang and Blake also turned towards him and Draegon looked up from his book and answered.

"It's not really a book more of a journal, it tells me the adventures my mom went through before she had me." Draegon answered with a bit of sadness.

"I love books Yang use to read to me every night before bed. Stories of hero's and monsters their one of the reasons I want to be a Huntress." Ruby said with confidence. Draegon smiled a bit.

"Why is that hoping you'll live happily ever after," Blake said with a bit of Snark. "Well, I'm hoping we all will, as a girl I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books someone who fought for what is right and who protected people who couldn't protect themselves." Ruby replied happily.

"That's very ambitious for a child unfortunately the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale." Blake said with sadness. Ruby just smiled, "Well that's why we're here to make it better." Draegon was impressed with Ruby's ambition and a little envious. He wished he had that kind of thinking.

"Oh I'm so proud of my baby sister," Yang said as she ran up and hugged her. "Cut it out," Ruby said angrily and soon a cloud of fight dust appeared in their place. Then Ruby stopped wrestling and looked at Draegon. "By the way how's Drogon?" Ruby asked and Draegon looked at her and Blake and Yang looked confused. "He's doing well thanks for asking he's sleeping on the far side of the school." Draegon replied.

"Who's Drogon?" Blake asked confused and Yang nodded in agreement. "He's my Dragon and my brother, the one you all saw fly by the Bullhead this morning and the one Ozpin announced about." Draegon said. Yang and Blake were wide eyed shocked with disbelief.

"You can actually fly on a Dragon that is amazing, I didn't even know Dragons existed," Yang said with excitement and Blake thinking the same thing and didn't know how to respond so she thought it would be better not to say anything.

"Yeah but he may be the last of his kind I don't know," Draegon said worried thinking about the eggs in his bag wondering how he'll hatch them. Blake soon noticed that it was getting late and she saw that Draegon didn't want to talk anymore so she decided to help him out.

"Well Ruby Yang its….." Blake spoke but was interrupted. "What in the world is going on over hear," Wiess said as she came over in her pajamas. "Don't you realize some of us are trying to sleep."

"Oh not you again," Wiess and Yang said at the same time.

"Shh! Guys she's right people are trying to sleep," Ruby said worried. "Oh, now you're on my side," Wiess said angrily. "I was always on your side," Ruby replied. "Yeah, what's your problem with my sister she's only trying to be nice," Yang said mad. "She's a hazard to my health," Wiess replied and Blake having enough since she couldn't read closed her book and was about to blow out the candles. Draegon was already leaving going back to his sleeping bag that is until Yang called out.

"What's your name again?" Ruby, Wiess, and Blake looked at him as well since two of them didn't know it and Ruby wanted to hear it. Draegon stopped and turned to face all four girls.

"It's Draegon, Draegon Targaryen."

Well another day another chapter. Also Please comment what you think I don't own RWBY or Game of Thrones they belong to their respective owners. Now I still haven't decided when I will hatch the dragons but I'm going to start a vote and I want your comments to decide on names. I have decided that two of the eggs will be female Dragons while one will be male. Since they aren't really siblings they will be able to mate in the future and lay more eggs so the dragons won't go extinct. Thats far into the future so here are the names you all need to pick One for each and two have to be female. Although if you have better names let me know as well.

Silver egg

Male: Quicksilver, Grey Ghost

Female: Silverwing, Meraxes which I'm leaning towards the most

Bronze egg

Male: Vermithor

Female: Vhagar

Red egg

Female: Meleys

Male: Caraxes, Balerion (if you choose this one it will have black on it think of Drogon red and Black color then switch it)

Cast your votes and hope you enjoyed the chapter. Till next time :)
