Hey everyone heres another chapter its short so sorry but enjoy.

FIRE and BLOOD in Remnant

The Emerald Forest with steel

Draegon stood still as a large pack of Grimm Beowolves circled him, he held Blackfyre at the ready.

"Concentrate, deep breaths, trust your instincts." Draegon thought in his mind. He breathed slowly and focused on his opponents.

His eyes moved from side to side making sure he knew where all the Grimm were. He looked down at Blackfyre and remembered it's been almost a month since he killed a Grimm with this blade. Now he will begin again this sword is a part of his family and he's a part of it and he will use it to Kill all the Grimm. One Grimm decided to charge at his behind but Draegon could almost sense him coming and with swift Horizontal swing of Blackfyre Draegon cut the Grimm in half and stepped to the side as both halves fell behind him. Soon all the Grimm charge and Draegon fought them. Draegon jumped and kicked one Grimm in the face as it tried to pounce on him on the side. He then did a Vertical slashed and killed another charging at him. Four of them charged at him on all sides and Draegon swung Blackfyre in a circle with speed and decapitated them and their heads fell to the ground instantly.

One by one the Grimm fell to one slash of Draegon sword. The Grimm were strong and had tough hides but they were no match for the Valyrian steel sword even the ones that had bone armor on them Draegon sword cut through it like butter add that to Draegon strength and skill he was almost invincible. No Grimm was safe against him. However, Draegon new better than to think like that because arrogance was the reason a lot of his ancestors were killed that and stupidity. Draegon focused only on fighting and didn't let his pride overtake him in the battle. One by one the Grimm died and soon only one Grimm was left and it was bigger than the others. Draegon guessed it was the Alpha, it stood still watching Draegon fight his pack and now it was his turn.

The Alpha circled Draegon slowly and Draegon slowly followed. They circled each other waiting for the other to make his move. Draegon charged and the Alpha did as well Draegon swung his sword but the Grimm dodged it. Draegon looked to where it jumped and it was looking back at him.

"I guess it knows how dangerous this sword is," Draegon smirked and charged faster the Grimm did as well and this time it was faster than Draegon. Its claws were extended ready to strike but Draegon jacket glowed and with his free hand shot a Fireball at the Grimm. The Grimm was hit in the chest and sent flying back and hit a tree. It shook its head to regain its senses but once it could see it saw Draegon swing his sword cutting its head off and that was the end.

Draegon stood looking at the body as it evaporated and wondered what happens to them when they die. I guess he'll never know since he's not a Grimm. Draegon sheathed Blackfyre and started walking North to look for the ruins and a partner but couldn't help but wonder will he get a partner because there was an odd number of students. He shook his head and continued walking.

"I wonder how the others are doing," Draegon said as he started running to get to the destination faster.

Meanwhile Yang was walking through the sunny Emerald Forest. Unaware of a shadow speeding past her.

"Hello," Yang shouted and kept on walking. "Is anyone out there, hello getting bored here." Soon she heard some bushes rustle. "Is someone there, Ruby is that you?" Yang looked into the bushes only to see a growling Ursa come out.

"Nope," Yang said as she jumped out of the way when the Ursa took a swipe at her. She activated her gauntlets but quickly backflipped as another Ursa charged at her and soon both were facing Yang. Yang pulled her arm back as one charged at her firing a powerful punch sending it flying back. The other charged as well but Yang quickly upper punched it before kicking it back as it fell.

"You guys wouldn't have happened to see a girl in a red hood, would you?" Yang asked but all she got was growls. "You could just say no," Yang replied to the Grimm as the charged at her again. They swiped their paws at her but Yang managed to dodge all their swings.

"Heh, jeez you two couldn't hit the broad side of a…." Yang began but noticed one of her hairs falling right in front of her.

"YOU!" Yang said as rage was building and the Grimm looked at each other in confusion.

"YOU MONSTERS," Yang shouted before activating her semblance and her eyes turning red. She charged forward and started hammering shotgun punches at one of the Ursa sending crashing through a bunch of trees. Soon the other ran up right behind Yang and roared right at her.

"What you want some to," Yang shouted ready for another fight. All of sudden a slash was made and the Grimm looked confused before it fell the Ground dead. As it fell it revealed it attack being Blake with her sword implanted into its back. She pulled her weapon out and sheathed it before smirking at Yang.

"I could have taken him," Yang replied to the smirk.

Not far away Wiess was sent skidding back from one of the Beowolves but she would not give up and had her sword at the ready.

"Remember your training Wiess, head up shoulders back right foot forward, not that forward. Slow your breathing wait for the right time to strike and now," Wiess thought before charging at the Alpha only for Ruby to appear in front of her and attack it. "Gotcha," Ruby said and Wiess looked shocked before she was thrown off balance and shot fire dust into a tree burning it instantly.

Ruby looked back in shock before a Grimm swiped at her weapon and sent her flying back colliding with Wiess.

"Hey watch it," Ruby said as she tried to get up.

"Excuse me you attacked out of turn I could have killed you," Wiess said who was just as mad at Ruby as she was at her.

"You'll have to try a lot harder than that," Ruby said rolling her eyes and Wiess shook her head before both of them were back-to-back against the Grimm that were still growling at them and had them surrounded. Ruby got ready to fight but the fire Wiess created on accident started to spread as trees began falling down on the Grimm and burn them alive.

Wiess turned and grabbed Ruby's arm, "we have to go," she said and pulled Ruby away as the fire which grew larger. The Grimm began to scatter but some howled in pain.

After running for a few minutes Ruby and Wiess stopped to catch their breath and smoke could still be seen rising from the forest.

"What was that? That should have been easy," Ruby shouted in disbelief.

"Well perhaps if you exercised even the slightest amount of caution with the placement of your strikes, I wouldn't have set the forest on fire," Wiess said while pointing to where they just were.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Ruby replied still in disbelief.

"I'm just surprised that someone that talks so much would communicate so little during an encounter," Wiess said annoyed.

"Well, I'm sorry you need my help to win a fight, I'm just fine on my own," Ruby said while crossing her arms.

"Well congratulations on being the strongest child to sneak your way into Beacon, BRAVO," Wiess said with sarcasm and walked off. Ruby growled in anger before taking out her scythe and cutting a tree clean off before following Wiess unaware that a large feather fell to the ground behind them.

A couple miles away Jaune and Pyrrha were pushing their way through the bushes. Jaune soon stopped as he heard some explosions in the distance.

"Did you hear that?" Jaune asked Pyrrha and looked to where they were coming from.

"Gunfire it seems some of are comrades have encountered the enemy," Pyrrha replied before pushing a branch away with her shield only for it to smack right into Jaune.

"Blurgh," Jaune groaned in pain as he fell.

"Jaune, I'm sorry," Pyrrha said. Jaune just laughed it off.

"It's okay just a scratch," he said as he got up.

"Why didn't you activate your Aura?" Pyrrha asked walking over to him. "Huh," Jaune said in confusion. "Your Aura," she said again.

"Gaz untight," Jaune said. "Jaune, do you know what Aura is?" Pyrrha asked raising an eyebrow at him. Jaune laughed a little.

"Of course, I do, do you know what Aura is?" Jaune said trying to be cool and smart but Pyrrha just decided to play along.

"Aura is the manifestation of our soul; it bears our burden and shields our hearts. Have you ever felt like you were being watched without knowing some one was their?" she asked. "Uh, yeah," Jaune replied.

Not far away Ren was walking through the forest and he too felt like he was being watched. All of a sudden, the black head of a King Taijitu appeared behind Ren. It instantly surrounded him with its long snake like body and Ren went into a fighting stance. The Grimm soon attacked.

"With practice our Aura can be our shield. Everyone has it even animals." Pyrrha said.

"What about monsters?" Jaune asked.

"No, the monsters we fight lack a soul, they are the creatures of Grimm. The manifest station of animinaty. They are the darkness and we are the light." Pyrrha continues.

"Right, that's why we fight them," Jaune said in an understanding way.

"It's not about why it's about knowing, understanding both dark and light helps us manifest our Aura. Everyone has some of both." Pyrrha spoke in a sage like manner.

Ren Jumped away as the Grimm attacked him and sent him hurling backwards but Ren stood his ground. The Grimm tried to constrict Ren but he jumped out and pulled out his weapons and began firing at it. He kicked it head back and made a slash at it. The Grimm wouldn't give up and just a Ren stabbed its head another head appeared behind him and went for a strike. Ren jumped away as both heads looked at him before charging. Ren jumped on to their backs and slide on them while firing at the heads. The white head hit Ren causing him to drop his weapons. Soon a head went straight for Ren.

"By bearing your soul outward as a force you can deflect harm, all of our tools and equipment are conduits for Aura, you project yourself and your soul from fighting." Pyrrha continues.

"It's like a force field," Jaune said as he opened his eyes in disbelief.

"Yes, if you want to look at it that way," Pyrrha said looking back at him.

Ren was holding the mouth of the Grimm open and his Aura was protecting his hands from being pierced by the fangs. Ren then ripped the fangs off and the black Grimm head screamed in pain. It went for another bite but Ren stabbed it in the eye with its own fang and punched it to make it go deeper. The head exploded and Ren ran towards the white one to finish it off.

"Now close your eyes and concentrate," Pyrrha said as she placed her hand on Jaune's cheek

"Uh, okay" Jaune said awkwardly as he closed his eyes and Pyrrha did as well. Soon both of them began to glow.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality through this we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite and distance and unbound by death. I release your soul and by my shoulder protect the," Pyrrha spoke before slouching a little from being tired.

"Pyrrha," Jaune asked a worryingly.

"It's alright I used my Aura to unlock yours but the energy that protects you now is your own," Pyrrha said while smiling as Jaunes scar disappeared. "You have a lot of it," she continued and Jaune looked at himself still glowing in happiness.

Ren had finally killed the King Taijitu and was breathing heavily. He put his weapons away and started brushing himself off.

Caw, caw," Nora said as she appeared upside down smiling at Ren.

"I still don't think that's what a Sloth sounds like," Ren said looking up at Nora.

"Boop," Nora said as she poked his nose.

Back at Beacon cliff Drogon was still lying down but his head was up and he was looking at the Emerald Forest. Ozpin was close by looking down at a tablet as Glynda walked up behind him and kept a close eye on Drogon.

"The last pair has been formed sir Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren, poor boy I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. The only one who doesn't have a partner is Draegon Targaryen. We had an odd number of students sir." Ozpin didn't say anything.

Still, he's probably better off than Mrs. Nikos." Glynda said as she watched them.

"Hm," Ozpin said while looking at his own tablet while Glynda continued. "I don't care what his transcripts say that Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat. I guess will find out soon enough. Sir why did you invite Draegon to Beacon Academy?"

Ozpin still didn't answer and Glynda became a bit more serious. "I can at least understand that Ruby girl even though she is younger but Draegon is who I'm most worried about. He not only cleared out a lot of Grimm these past few years as we have heard but, he has also has done some questionable things that I and many people do not approve of and wouldn't be comfortable with him near the other students. He's dangerous sir," Glynda said before she heard a growl and notice Drogon starring at her and baring his teeth and Glynda looked slightly afraid. Ozpin cleared his throat getting both of their attention.

"It appears that Drogon can understand humans more than we realized and I can understand your fear Glynda but Draegon has his reason for doing what he did and in doing so he was trying to make sure others didn't bear that type of burden." Ozpin said as he took a sip from his mug before he continued and Drogon looked back out into the forest.

"Besides wouldn't it be better if he was here and we can keep an eye on him and make sure fewer friendly eyes stay away from him." Ozpin said and was curious expression and was wondering what Draegon was looking for that make him nervous.

"What is so special about him that has your attention sir beside that he can command Drogon sir?" Glynda asked since she felt like she didn't get any answers. Ozpin looked at her seriously, "the reason is because seventeen years ago the name Targaryen was a name that never even existed until he turned up but the question is how and why, there is something different about Draegon much different." Ozpin said before looking at Drogon who was looking straight back at him.

"I suppose you know where you all came from but won't tell us will you," Ozpin asked looking at Drogon who in turned continued staring at him and remained silent. Drogon moved his eyes to look at Ozpins tablet and Ozpin complied by moving slightly to give the Dragon a better view.

Glynda shook her nervous thoughts of Draegon aside believing in Ozpin and maybe giving the boy a chance. She looked down at her tablet.

"At their current pace they should reach the temple in just a few minutes speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?" Glynda asked as she walked slightly away but looked back to see that Ozpin didn't move from his spot.

"Professor Ozpin," Glynda called out but he was focus on his tablet as was Drogon it showed two screens. On one screen it showed three Boartusk Grimm wandering around when all of sudden Draegon burst out of some nearby bushes and used Blackfyre to make three quick slashes ending them before he continued on his way.

On the other screen it showed Ruby sitting in the Grass and Wiess walking back and forth trying to figure out which way to go.

"It's definitely this way." Wiess said as she walked one direction. "I mean this way, it's definitely this way." Wiess said as she walked a different way before coming up to Ruby.

"Alright its official we passed it," Wiess spoke to Ruby who got up.

"Why can't you just admit that you have no idea where were going?" Ruby asked tiredly and crossed her arms.

"Because I know exactly where were going, where going…to…the Forest Temple," Wiess said still believing she knew where they were.

"Huh," Ruby sighed if defeat.

"Oh, stop it you don't know where we are either," Wiess said to Ruby's sigh. "Well at least I'm not pretending like I know everything," Ruby said getting mad.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Wiess asked. "It means you're a big stupid jerk and I hate you," Ruby said angrily. Wiess sighed in annoyance and started walking away.

"Just keep moving," Ruby followed and tried to imitate her "uh, just keep moving, hurry up, wah watch where you're going… Why are you so bossy?" Ruby asked narrowing her eyes.

"I'm not BOSY, don't say things like that," Wiess turned around and walked up to Ruby's face. "Stop treating me like a kid," Ruby shouted.

"Stop acting like a kid," Wiess retorted.

"Well stop acting like your perfect," Ruby retorted.

"I'm not perfect, not yet but I'm still leagues better than you," Wiess said as she walked off again.

"You don't even know me," Ruby whispered looking down in sadness.

Yang and Blake came out of the trees and saw the ruins that they were looking for. Both girls looked down at it.

"Think this is it?" Yang asked Blake who just raised an eyebrow before walking down and Yang followed. Soon the where in the center of the temple surrounded by chest pieces.

"Chest pieces," Blake asked confused.

"Some of them are missing," Yang said looking at some empty spots. "Looks like we weren't the first ones here," she continued.

"Well, I guess we should pick one," Blake replied.

Not far away Jaune and Pyrrha were standing in front of a cave that had some disturbing paintings on the side.

"Think this is it?" Jaune asked Pyrrha and soon were walking inside with Jaune having made a torch. Pyrrha started to look nervous.

"I'm not sure this is it," she spoke and Jaune just sighed.

"Pyrrha, I made the torch could you at least humor me for maybe five more feet," Jaune said before he tripped and fell causing the torch to go out. Soon the only thing they could see was each other's eyes.

"Do you feel that?" Pyrrha asked while narrowing her eyes.

"Soul crushing regret," Jaune replied widening his eyes.

"No, it's warm," she said.

Yang was now standing in front of a white knight chest piece before she picked it up and turned to Blake.

"How about a cute little pony?" she asked. "Sure," Blake replied rolling her eyes and smiling.

"That wasn't too hard," Yang said as she walked up to Blake. "Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find," Blake said.

Soon an Ursa burst out of the trees and started running towards Yang and Blake. The girls had their weapons at the ready. The Ursa stopped right in front of them and roared but before anyone could do anything. Something came sailing past the trees at high speed. Blake heard it first and before she could say anything a sword was implanted into the Ursa neck. The Grimm fell to the ground dead and Blake and Yang notice that the sword was Blackfyre.

They soon heard rustling and saw Draegon exit the forest, he walked by them and grabbed Blackfyre from the Grimm neck. Also, he made sure it was dead by twisting his imbedded sword. Once he was sure Draegon pulled it out and sheathed it. He looked over to the girls who just stared at him dumbfoundedly.

"Blake, Yang," Draegon waved at them and they waved back.

"That was pretty cool," Yang said to him while Blake nodded in agreement and he slightly turned a tiny bit red but only a little.

Jaune and Pyrrha continue through the dark cave until they see a yellow glowing item floating in front of them.

"That's the relic," Jaune said as he reached out and tried to grab it but it moved a bit. "Hey, bad relic" Jaune said as he tried again and again until he jumped on it to grab it. "Gotcha," he finally said.

"Jaune," Pyrrha said getting worried and soon multiple red eyes were staring at Jaune.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH," a scream could be heard by the temple causing Draegon, Blake and Yang to look around.

"Some girls in trouble, Blake Draegon did you hear that," Yang said turning to the direction of the scream. Blake was looking up with a worried expression and Draegon narrowed his eyes in the direction of the scream.

"Yang I don't think that was a girl scream," Draegon mumbled.

Pyrrha was soon running out of the cave as Jaune was still screaming. Jaune soon followed hanging on the glowing item which happened to be the stinger of a Deathstalker as it smashed out of the cave.

"Pyrrha this is not the relic, it's not, do something" Jaune said sadly as he was being shake around.

"Jaune whatever you do don't let..." Pyrrha said until Jaune was sent flying by the Grimm.

"…go," Pyrrha finished before looking back at the Deathstalker that was staring angrily at her. Pyrrha smiled sheepishly before zipping away in speed.

Back at the temple Blake and Draegon were looking up with worried expressions.

"Blake, Draegon did either of you here that. What should we do," Yang said as she turned around and looked at them? Before turning around, she heard a voice and looked up.

"Heads up," Ruby shouted as she was falling to the ground at a fast pace.

"That's not good," Draegon said.
