Here's a new chapter of my story I do not own RWBY or Game of Thrones just my OCs.

FIRE and BLOOD in Remnant

Jaunedice Draegon fight

Draegon along with Ruby, Wiess, Yang, and Pyrrha were watching Jaune face off against Cardin Winchester and so far, he was fighting pathetically.

"This is almost embarrassing," Draegon said. Jaune was sweating and exhausted while Cardin didn't even break a sweat and was laughing. Jaune charged again but Cardin dodged and swung his mace hitting Jaune's shield and sent him flying and losing his shield in the process. Jaune got up again and used both hands to bring a downward slash but Cardin blocked it with his Mace.

"This is the part where you lose," Cardin said as he started pushing back. "Over my dead…gaugh," Jaune said as he was kicked in the stomach by Cardin. Once Jaune fell to the ground Cardin raised hi weapon for a finishing blow. Before a buzzing sound was made and the lights turned back on.

"That's enough," Glynda said as she walked onto the stadium. "Students as you can see Mr. Arc aura has dropped into the red, in a tournament style duel this would indicate that Jaune is no longer fit for battle and that the official may call the match." Glynda said while looking at her tablet before looking at Jaune. "Mr. Arc it's been weeks now please try to refer to your scroll during combat, gauging your aura will help you decide when it is appropriate to attack or when it's better to move to a more defensive strategy. We wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by a Beowolf now would we," Glynda said while Jaune was looking down and Pyrrha and Draegon were getting concerned.

"Speak for yourself," Cardin said smugly and Draegon was starting to think he regret saving him from being eaten by Drogon as he walked away.

"Now it appears we have time for one more match," Glynda said as her tablet scrolled through candidates and landed two people who happen to be on the same team.

"Ruby Rose and Draegon Targaryen please come forward," Ruby looked excited and nervous at the same time. Draegon just nodded and once the two were on stage Ruby noticed something odd. Draegon was holding a great sword and didn't have Blackfyre or Dark Sister attached to his sides.

"Draegon where are your swords?" Ruby asked. "Since this is a practice battle, I borrowed this sword from the weapons storage room. I don't use my regular weapons unless I'm going to kill my opponents and even if you have aura, it won't be enough to protect you from Valyrian steel. I fought people with lots of aura and they were bloodied up badly. So, I asked Mrs. Goodwitch in case I was picked to borrow a normal steel sword and there you have it." Draegon said as some of the students were whispering how cool and dangerous his swords are. Ruby looked at Glynda who nodded so Ruby pulled out Crescent Rose and took a battle stance. Draegon swung the sword around a few times to get a feel for it before getting into a stance.

"Are both combatants ready?" Glynda asked and Ruby and Draegon nodded. Yang and Wiess were looking with excitement while Jaune and Pyrrha were curious to see who would win in a battle since they couldn't see much of Draegon or Ruby fighting in the Emerald Forest. Cardin didn't have a care but still watched to see what would happen.

"A friendly warning Ruby I'm not going to hold back, that wouldn't be fair for either of us," Draegon said and Ruby smiled and nodded as well.

"Begin," Glynda shouted. Ruby dashed forward and swung her Scythe but Draegon blocked it with his sword. The block threw Ruby back and when Ruby looked up Draegon charged swinging. Ruby blocked with her Scythe from an upward slash but Draegon quickly released and swung from the side knocking Ruby back and taking a portion of her aura. Ruby fired Crescent rose and Draegon had to jump back to get some distance but got hit on his right shoulder losing some aura as well. Draegon Jacket glowed and he threw his fist out and shot a torrent of fire at her. Ruby activated her semblance and was wrapped around her cape and sped around the stadium with Draegon fire following her. Draegon stopped when Ruby came up close swinging her Scythe at Draegon blocked it and went to fire again with his dust but Ruby jumped away using her semblance. Draegon had enough he started to breath slowly and then thrust his hand out.

"Stop," Draegon shouted and Ruby's cape unraveled and she slowed down. Ruby was thrown off balance and tripped and fell. When Ruby looked up in astonishment and saw Draegon bring his sword down she quickly blocked with her Scythe but Draegon new that was going to happen so, once they clashed Draegon used one oh his hands to reach out and grab Ruby's Scythe and yanked it out of her hand and kicked her in the stomach. Ruby looked up to see Draegon holding his sword in his right hand and twirling her Scythe in his left hand. Draegon charged and Ruby held up her arms to block and when Draegon brought the weapons down when the alarm buzzed. Ruby looked up to Draegon sword was a mere inch from Ruby's face.

"Interesting battle," Glynda said as she walked out as the lights came on. "Ms. Rose do you know why you lost?" Ruby groaned a bit before answering. "It's because Draegon is stronger than me," she answered.

"No, the reason that you lost is because Mr. Draegon was observing you fight and started to figure out your fighting style and adapt to it. Then once he knew how to disarm you, he activated his semblance to cripple you." Draegon was slightly impressed that she figured all of that out and Ruby sighed in defeat. Draegon held out Ruby's Scythe and she took it back.

"That is really well made and well balanced," Draegon said impressed still. "Thanks," Ruby smiled but then wondered something. "What is your Semblance when you said stop?" she asked.

"I call my semblance Kings Authority, since everyone is going to know about it soon. What it does is that when my opponent is using their semblance, I can command it to stop working making it useless. Don't worry you should be able to use it soon in a few hours but for now no speed Ruby," Draegon said smiling while Ruby pouted a little. Everyone else was now wondering if they could take Draegon without their Semblances because now it would be a regular fight.

Glynda was surprised at how powerful his semblance is and Ozpin was going to be interested learning about it. She coughed to get everyone's attention.

"Excellent battle both of you," Glynda said as Draegon and Ruby took their seats again. Weiss was slightly impressed by Draegon skill in a fight and Yang now had the urge to fight Draegon as well but first she had to pat Ruby on the head to cheer her up for her loss.

"Remember everyone the Vytal Festival is only a few months away. It won't be long before students from the other kingdoms start arriving in Vale so keep practicing. Those who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale," Glynda said as Yang started making air punches and Ruby and Wiess silently cheered with excitement. Draegon didn't seem all that interested, he preferred to fight Grimm because he can use his regular swords but not if he's in the tournament. Although if Draegon was asked to fight then he would. Draegon noticed Pyrrha looking at Jaune worried before the bell rang thus ending class.

Later it was lunch time and Nora was telling everyone a story. With Ren correct her as she told it.

"So, there we were in the middle of that night," Nora said sinisterly. "It was day," Ren corrected. Blake was just reading her book and Wiess was doing her nails. Yang and Ruby were interested in Nora's story. Draegon was busy eating some lamb chops which were the lunch special and he was enjoying it.

"We were surrounded by Ursai," she continued. "They were Beowolves," he corrected. "Dozens of them," Nora shouted standing up. "Two of them," Ren said. Draegon looked to see Jaune was picking at his food. Ruby and Pyrrha had worried looks.

"But they were no match, and in the end Ren and I took them down and made a boatload of Lien selling Ursa skin in rugs." Nora finished happily and Ren just sighed. "She been having this recurring dream for nearly a month now," he said. Draegon wondered what went on in Nora's head and how Ren was able to understand and survive her.

"Jaune are you okay," Pyrrha finally decided to ask. Everyone looked at him.

"Huh! Oh yeah, why?" Jaune asked as he shook himself awake.

"It's just that you seem a little…not okay," Ruby said and everyone was looking at him.

"Guys I'm fine seriously look," Jaune said as he tried to show everyone, he was okay look and laughed a little but no one was buying it.

"If you're going to lie, at least make it look convincing," Draegon said to Jaune and Ruby was nodding. Before Jaune could respond they heard laughing of a nearby table. Everyone looked over to see Cardin and his team making fun of a rabbit Faunus named Velvet.

"Jaune, Cardin has been picking on you since the first week of school," Pyrrha said as Jaune squeezed his fist in anger at Cardin.

"Who Cardin Winchester, nah he just likes to mess around you know, practical jokes." Jaune said in denial.

"He's a bully," Ruby said narrowing her eyes.

"Oh, please name one time he's bullied me," Jaune said while making air quotes with his fingers. Flashbacks were shown.

Jaune was walking down the hall carrying books while Cardin was coming from the opposite direction. He quicky knocked Jaunes books out of his hands. "Oh, come on," Jaune shouted as Cardin walked away.

Jaune was walking into a room that Cardin was walking out and with a quick hand motion he activated Jaunes Sheath which turned into its shield mode and got Jaune stuck in the door. "Oh, come on," Jaune groaned.

Glynda was talking to the new students in the locker room. "Each of you will be assigned one rocket propelled locker to store your weapons and extra armor. Additionally, your locker can be sent to a custom location on a six-digit code," she finished and Cardin looked at Jaune before smiling and pushing him into a locker and activated it. "What no wait, wait, get me out of here please don't, don't, don't," Jaune shouted as the locker blasted off with Jaune shouting. "Oh, come on."

Everyone was looking at Jaune but he tried to act cool. "I didn't land that far from the school," he said.

"Yeah, that's the problem," Draegon said as another flashback began. Drogon was sleeping soundly on the grass when the locker Jaune was in smashed onto his head and rolled over to its side. Jaune managed to open the locker and get out but he felt breathing down his neck. He looked up to see Drogon glaring daggers at Jaune while baring his teeth and growling angrily. "Oh, come on," Jaune said meekly as the scene changed to fire being blasted out with Jaune running for his life and Drogon chasing after him blasting him.

"Jaune, you know if you ever need help you can just ask," Pyrrha said.

"Oh, will break his legs," Nora said jumping up in excitement. "We could invite him to Bar-Ba-Q," Draegon said while pausing and everyone else looked at him confused before he finished. "Hosted by chef Drogon," Draegon said and everyone realized his plan and Nora grinned at the idea. Maybe Draegon was starting to understand Nora better but mainly because he really did not like Cardin.

"Guys really it's fine besides it's not like he's only a jerk to me, he's a jerk to everyone." Jaune said getting up before they looked back at the table.

"Ow, that hurts," Velvet cried as team CRDL were laughing at her as Cardin was pulling her ear.

"Please stop," Velvet tried to say politely but they kept on laughing. "I told you it was real," Cardin said. "What a freak," Russel said laughing. Draegon slammed his utensils down and everyone jumped in fear as he got up and walked over to them. He was right behind Cardin and tapped his shoulder. Cardin looked to see Draegon and before he could say anything Draegon threw his right fist forward and nailed Cardin right into the eye and sent him flying past Velvet. He crashed into one of the garbage bins. Draegon looked at the rest of team CRDL and they backed off a bit scarred. Draegon looked at Velvet and nodded to her, who nodded and thanked him silently. Draegon went back to his spot and sat down he looked to see everyone was smiling at him.

"He was beginning to annoy me, so instead of BBQ I gave him a knuckle sandwich," Draegon said and Nora and Yang and Ruby started laughing. Wiess, Blake, Ren, and Pyrrha just smiled while Jaune looked happy but was also jealous that he couldn't do anything. They looked to see Cardin get up and he sneered at Draegon but Draegon looked back with his face saying ready for round two.

Cardin and his team started walking away.

"Atrocious, I can't stand people like him," Pyrrha said angrily.

"He's not the only one," Blake said narrowing her eyes and Draegon nodded in agreement.

"It must be hard to be a Faunus," Yang said looking at Velvet with a bit of pity but she saw Velvet was feeling better that Draegon put Cardin in his place.

"It's actions like this that makes the Grimm a lot harder fight if were too busy fighting amongst ourselves," Draegon said and Ren nodded in agreement.

Jaune was walking away sadly and before Cardin left, he saw Jaune as well and grinned.

Later it was History class with Doctor Oobleck. Draegon sat next to Wiess and was impressed that the teacher could move. He looked over to see Jaune passed out and shook his head. Blake and Wiess were paying attention at least as the Doctor spoke. Pyrrha would sometimes glance at Jaune and Velvet sat in the front as to not be bother by Cardin who had his feet up without a care in the world.

"Yes prior to the Faunus right revolution while popular known as the Faunus War. Human kind was quite, quite adamant about centralizing the Faunus population in Menagerie. Now while this must feel like ancient history to many of you it is imperative to remember that these were relatively recent events. Why the repercussions of the uprisings can still be seen to this day." Oobleck said as he zipped around class but stopped to drink some of his tea before speeding off again.

"Now have any among you been subjugated or discriminated because of your Faunus heritage?" He asked as some students and even Velvet raised their hands. Draegon knew Blake didn't raise her hand but he wondered why she still hasn't shared with the others about herself.

"Dreadful simply dreadful remember students it is precisely this kind of ignorance that breeds violence. I mean just look at what happened to the White Fang. Now which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorists believe to be the turning point in the third year of the war?" Oobleck asked and Wiess shot her hand up instantly. "Yes," he said.

"The battle at Fort Castle," Wiess answered. "Precisely, and who can tell me the advantage the Faunus have over General Lagoon forces?" Oobleck asked as Jaune continued to snore and Cardin flicked a piece of paper nailing him in the back of the head waking him up.

"Hey," Jaune said. Dr. Oobleck zipped over to him. "Mr. Arc finally contributing to class excellent, excellent, what is the answer?" he asked.

"Uh the answer, the advantage the Faunus had over that guys stuff," Jaune said slowly and Pyrrha put her hands on her eyes but Draegon didn't think that would work so he pointed to his eyes with his finger to be able to understand better. "Uh, Binoculars," Jaune said triumphantly only for everyone to laugh at him. Draegon slammed his head on his desk at how stupid that answer was.

"Very funny Mr. Arc, Cardin perhaps you would care to share your thoughts on the subject," Dr. Oobleck replied.

"Well, I know it's a lot easier to train an animal than a soldier," Cardin replied while Oobleck shook his head.

"You're not the most open minded of individuals are you Cardin," Pyrrha said. "What you got a problem," he retorted. "No, I have the answer, it's night vision. Many Faunus are known to have nearly perfect sight in the dark." Pyrrha spoke while Cardin growled.

"General Lagoon was inexperienced and made the mistake trying to ambush the Faunus in their sleep, his massive army was outmatched and the General was captured. Perhaps if the General paid attention in class he wouldn't have been remembered as such a failure." Blake spoke and Oobleck nodded but Cardin got angry he stood up and was ready to fight.

"Careful now you don't want another Black eye," Draegon said as Cardin looked at him.

"Mr. Winchester please take your seat," Doctor Oobleck said in a bored tone. Jaune was snickering but stopped when he zipped up to him. "You and Mr. Arc can both see me after class for addition readings," he said and Jaune groaned. "Now moving on," speeded away.

After class Ren and Nora and Pyrrha were leaving until Pyrrha spoke up. "You go on ahead I'll wait for Jaune," Draegon saw Wiess and Blake looking at him. "It's not my business but something tells me I should be here I'll catch up later," he said and Wiess and Blake nodded before leaving.

Oobleck was drinking his tea before he talked but it looked like Cardin and Jaune weren't listening. "You two have been struggling in my class since day one. Now I don't know if it's a lack of interest or just your stubborn nature but whatever it is it stops now. You've worked hard to gain entrance into this school and we only accept the best of the best so I expect to act like it. History is important Gentlemen if you can't learn from it your destined to repeat it. Pages fifty-one to ninety-one I want an essay on my desk by next class now run along," he finished before dashing away.

Draegon and Pyrrha were both leaning on the wall off to the side as they walked out. Cardin shoved Jaune to the ground before walking away. Jaune grumbled in pain while Cardin laughed.

Draegon and Pyrrha ran up to Jaune and Pyrrha helped him up. "You know I really will break his legs," she said evilly. "Or we could still do the Bar-Ba-Q," Draegon narrowed his eyes at Cardin figure. Jaune just sighed but Pyrrha beamed in thought.

"I have an idea, here come with me, thanks Draegon," Pyrrha called out as she dragged Jaune away. Draegon just stood there for a moment and thought. "Was my BBQ that good of an idea," he shrugged his shoulders and walked away.

Jaune and Pyrrha were now standing on the dorms roof looking at Beacon academy. "Pyrrha, I know I'm going through a hard time right now but I'm not that depressed. I can always be a farmer or something," Jaune said as he looked over the roof and Pyrrha realized what he meant.

"No," she shouted and pulled him away. "That's not why I brought you up here, Jaune I know you're having a difficult time in class and that your still not the strongest of fighters, so I want to help you." Pyrrha said smiling and Jaune still had his mope look on his face.

"What," Jaune said. "We can train up here after class were no one can bother us," Pyrrha continued. "You think I need help?" Jaune asked scratching his head in embarrassment.

"No, no that's not what I meant." Pyrrha said worried. "But you just said it," Jaune said confused.

"Jaune everybody needs a little push from time to time, it doesn't make you any different from the rest of us. You made it to Beacon that speaks volumes of what your capable of." Pyrrha tried to encourage but Jaune turned away.

"Your wrong I don't belong here." Jaune said sadly. "That's a terrible thing to say of course you do," Pyrrha said reaching for him but Jaune finally snapped.

"No, I don't," he said and Pyrrha looked sad and Jaune sighed. "I wasn't really accepted into Beacon," he confessed. "What do you mean?" Pyrrha asked.

"I mean I didn't go to combat school; I didn't pass any test; I didn't earn my spot at this academy. I lied, I got my hands on some fake transcripts and I lied," Jaune said sadly. "What, but why," Pyrrha asked shocked.

"Because this is what I always wanted to be. My father, My Grandfather and his father before him were all warriors. They were all hero's I wanted to be one to. I just was never good enough," he looked down in shame and Pyrrha placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Then let me help you," she said but Jaune shook her shoulder off. "I don't want help; I don't want to be the damsel in distress I want to be the hero." Jaune said frustrated. "Jaune," Pyrrha tried to call but he wouldn't listen.

"I'm tired of being the lovable idiot stuck in the tree while his friends fight for their lives don't you understand. If I can't do this on my own then what good am I." He said in defeat. Pyrrha tried to take his hand but Jaune pulled away.

"Just leave me alone ok," Jaune said sadly and turned away.

"If that's what you think is best," Pyrrha said almost crying and walked away.

"Oh Jaune," Cardin said as he was now on the roof and Jaune turned to him in fright.

"Cardin," he said shocked. "I couldn't help but overhear you two from my dorm room, so you snuck into Beacon huh. I got to say Jaune I never expected you to be such a rebel," he said crossing his arms and looked smugly at him.

"Please Cardin please don't tell anyone," Jaune practically begged.

"Jaune come on, I'd never rat out a friend like that," he said smirking.

"Uh a friend?" Jaune asked confused and Cardin wrapped his arm around Jaunes neck.

"Of course, were friends now Jauney boy, and the way I see it as long as you're there for me when I need you will be friends for a long time," he said as Jaune was gasping for air before he let him go.

"That being said I really don't have time to do those extra readings Doctor Oobleck gave us today. Think you could take care of that for me buddy," he said as he rubbed Jaunes head.

"That's what I thought, don't worry Jaune your secrets safe with me," Cardin said as he climbed back down. Jaune looked with worry in what he gotten himself into.

On the next building over Draegon was leaning on the wall and listened he got up and shook his head. "Jaune you fool," Draegon said and walked away.
