Hey everyone I'm back with another chapter. Also House of the Dragon released its first trailer if any of my readers don't know. Who am I kidding of course you know. We also got a good look at Blackfyre and Dark Sister in the trailer. Now to be honest I kind of like the designs from The World of ICE and FIRE book and ASOIAF wiki so i'm going to keep imagining them like that. If you want to imagine the tv version go ahead. Anyway enjoy the chapter I do not own RWBY or GOT they belong to their respective owners. I just own the OCs enjoy.

FIRE and BLOOD in Remnant

Field Trip and Stowaways

Following the Beacon Dance, inside Ozpin's office, was General Ironwood and Glynda keeping the headmaster company.

"They were here..." Ironwood said before raising his voice. "Ozpin, they were here!"

Ironwood angrily slams his fist against Ozpin's desk.

"We're very much aware of that! Thank you, James." Glynda said annoyed with his anger.

"Fantastic! You're aware! Now are we going to do something about it or should we just stay the course and continue to ignore what's right in front of us?!" Ironwood retorted.

An alert sound plays, signifying that someone has arrived on the elevator.

"Come in." Ozpin said.

Ruby and Draegon steps out and into the room.

"Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here." Ruby said pausing before quickly explaining herself, "It wasn't me." She added, Draegon just shook his head and remained silent. He had been thinking all night about the person that infiltrated Beacon and how they fought. Draegon kept thinking he had seen it somewhere before.

"Thank you for coming, Ruby, Draegon. How are you both feeling?" Ozpin asked.

"Like my pride has been wounded," Draegon answered while crossing his arms.

"Okay, I guess. I'd feel better if my bad-guy-catching record wasn't O-for-three." Ruby answered.

Everyone stares silently at her.

"Okay, so that's the tone we're going for, got it." Ruby whispered.

"Ruby, Draegon, I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what you two did last night is exactly what being a Huntsman and Huntress is all about. You recognized a threat. You took action. And you did the very best you could." Ironwood complied.

"Thank you, sir." Ruby replied and Draegon nodded but they both still felt bad about losing the Burglar.

"Now, the general here has already informed us of the events that... transpired last night, but now that you've both rested, we were wondering if you had anything to add." Ozpin spoke up.

"Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to either of you at all?" Glynda asked.

"A little but I can't seem to remember from were and no she was by herself," Draegon answered calmly.

"I... I don't know. She was wearing a mask, and she never said anything to us. But I know she fought with glass. I don't think that was her Semblance, though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked." Ruby added on.

"Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby and Draegon." Glynda summarized.

Draegon eyes widen at Glynda's statement. "I knew she fought familiarly." Draegon spoke up.

"Embedding Dust into clothing is an age-old technique. Don't you use fire Dust with your combat close Mr. Draegon?" Ironwood asked and Draegon nodded before he continued. "It could have been anyone." He theorized.

"Wait. You think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the White Fang?" Ruby quickly asked.

"It's possible. But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together." Ozpin said.

"Professor with all due respect I'm quite confident in Ms. Goodwitch theory that she was the same women we encountered with Roman. So, I believe that is evidence enough that she plus Torchwick are working with the White Fang and we need to find out what their up to and stop them by any means necessary," Draegon said narrowed eyes. While Ironwood smiled thinking Draegon was someone who wants to take action. Ruby had a worried look on her face. Ozpin remained neutral.

"I believe you Mr. Draegon but we still need more proof," Ozpin said and Draegon shook his head. "He's not going to do anything," Draegon thought upset.

"Actually, I... I think I remember her saying something about a hideout, or something, in the southeast. Just outside the Kingdom." Ruby quickly spoke up and Draegon elbowed her giving her the look. While Ruby replied with the what look.

"Interesting." Ozpin said slowly.

"I thought you said the intruder never—" Glynda started but Ozpin cut her off.

"Thank you for your cooperation, Ruby. Why don't you go and spend some time with your team? You have a big day ahead of you." Ozpin said.

"Any time." Ruby said leaving but sees Draegon didn't move from his spot.

"Ruby, you go on ahead I need to ask Ozpin some personal questions," Draegon said.

"Is everything okay Draegon," Ruby asked worried.

"Yeah, just some extra questions that feel more personal." Draegon said with a smile. Ruby looked at Ozpin who nodded.

"And Miss Rose, please try and be ... discreet about this matter." Ozpin added.

"Yes sir." Ruby said and left. Draegon looked at the three teachers.

"This is something bigger isn't it," Draegon said seriously.

The door to Team RWBY's dorm room opens, revealing Yang, Blake, and Weiss inside. The three zoom over to Ruby at the door.

"What happened?" Yang asked quickly.

"And, where is Draegon?" Weiss asked.

"Uh... well, um..." Ruby said slowly while laughing nervously.

Draegon was still back in Ozpin's office.

"What makes you say that Draegon?" Ozpin asked.

"Sir please don't treat me like an idiot," Draegon commanded.

"I would never treat any of my students like that." Ozpin said. Draegon began pacing back and forth. As the three teaches watched him.

"Roman Torchwick a human is working and commanding the White Fang who seem to hate all humans especially taking orders from them. They are steeling only dust and not taking any money. Which means their gearing up for a massive fight and the only place in Vale that can give them that fight is this Fortress school. Which confirmed my suspicion when we had that break in last night. However, I don't think they want to destroy this school or claim it for their own. I think there's something they want in this school." Draegon said and he looked to see Ironwood and Ozpin sharing a glance.

"So, there is something here," Draegon said.

"Yes, and its classified information that we cannot tell you Draegon, or have you telling other people," Ironwood said. Draegon narrowed his eyes.

"What Ironwood means is that we few keep something here at Beacon under close watch and only a few know because we don't know who to trust." Ozpin said. Draegon scoffed.

"You don't want to tell me the truth then fine, you probably don't trust me because I have a massive fire breathing Dragon right outside on your campus that could burn this whole school to ground if I wanted him to but I don't and he hasn't done anything wrong. Can you all ask yourselves this, can you really fight a war without allies." He spoke upset.

"Draegon, we do trust you and this has nothing to do with us being afraid of Drogon. We simply swore an oath not to tell anyone, and we know we can't fight a war without allies," Glynda spoke calmly. Draegon looked at her before he sighed and closed his eyes.

"Sorry if seemed a little aggressive towards all of you," Draegon apologized. "I'm just a person who doesn't like big secrets that could have dangerous effects if their kept in the dark."

"We understand Draegon, no one should carry that burden." Ozpin said calmly. Draegon turns to leave but stops halfway and looks back at them.

"Well since the secret is out about the Southeast if you need help, I will aide you with Drogon. However, whatever it is your protecting at this school. I hope it's worth all of the spilled blood of Humans and Faunus trying to protect or acquire it. I won't tell anyone about this school is protecting something but I don't think it's safe here anymore," Draegon then left leaving the three in silence.

"That boy has a sharp mind but I worry about him." Ozpin said and Glynda nodded. Ironwood turned to them.

"Well, there we have it. We send as many troops as we can to the southeast, find out exactly what's going on, and eradicate any forces that stand in our way. Also, we should take up Draegon offer to use Drogon to eradicate them," Ironwood said quickly.

Glynda growls in frustration, "Why must your answer to everything involve a triumphant display of military bravado!? You treat every situation like it's a contest of measuring di—!" She said but Ozpin cut her off.

"Glynda!" He spoke.

"Well, he does." Glynda spoke.

"She's right. As much as I too would love to end this situation once and for all along with Draegon and Drogon helping us, we must remember that this may go beyond Vale. Beyond Beacon. And if this truly is part of some master plan for which we know not the final move, we mustn't be so bold. Nor can we risk the spread of panic." Ozpin said calmly.

"I have served you faithfully for years... but if you mean to tell me that your plan is to really hold the defenses, and wait—!" Ironwood starts and Ozpin abruptly stands from his chair.

"It is not! You're a general, James. So, tell me, when you prepare to go to war, which do you send in first? The flag bearers, or the scouts?" Ozpin asked.

Back to Team RWBY's dorm. Weiss speaks up, "That was a risky move."

"No, I think you handled it well." Blake said.

"I hope so." Ruby said worried.

"I'm sure everything will be alright, Ruby. Oh, I know what will cheer you up!" Yang said and produces a cylindrical package the length of her forearm.

"What's that?" Ruby asked.

"I don't know yet. Dad sent it to us. I thought we could open it together!" Yang said.

"Ooooh! Something from home!" Ruby said and she zooms over to Yang and wraps herself around Yang, trying to take the cylinder from her. Draegon walks in to see Ruby clinging to Yang.

"What's going on?" Draegon asked. Balerion, Meraxes, and Vhagar who were sleeping in their pen chirped with excitement and jumped on to Draegon.

"Ruby and Yang got a package from home," Weiss answered.

"By the way, what did you ask Ozpin about?" Blake asked as well.

"Oh, I just asked if they bumped up their security and if they needed Drogon to help find the burglar since she was close to me my scent might have gotten on her so Drogon could track her." Draegon said but feeling a little bad about lying to his friends but thought it was better this way. Meraxes rubbed her head on Draegon cheek and he chuckled and petted her. Weiss and Blake nodded before all of them looked back at Ruby and Yang.

The package opens, and another cylinder, hairy and black, falls out onto the floor and starts to shake. The object suddenly transforms into a corgi. Team RWBY and the Dragons all lean in, staring at it.

The animal barks twice. While Weiss and Blake continue to react with great shock, Ruby and Yang react excitedly, Draegon remains quiet but the babies react with a screech, with Ruby jumping in the air. Ruby, still airborne, is depicted among a changing blue background and four shots of the dog, two full body shots and two headshots. She then poses as she shouts the dog's name. "Zwei!" She spoke.

"He sent a dog?" Blake asked confused.

"In the mail?" Weiss asked as well.

"Ok that's weird," Draegon said.

"Oh, he does stuff like this all the time!" Yang shrugged her shoulders.

"Your father or your dog?" Blake said as she disappears, shown now to be on Ruby's bunk.

"Are you telling me that this mangy... drooling...mutt is going to wiv wif us foweva? Oh, yes, he is, yes, he is! Oh, isn't he adorable!" Weiss said mad at first but fell head over heels for Zwei.

"Please keep it away from my belongings." Blake said quickly.

Balerion clung to Draegon and crawled closer to look at Zwei. Zwei looked back at them from Ruby's arms as they stared each other down. Once they were face to face Zwei licked Balerion face and baby dragon shook his head and screeched in protest. Everyone giggled at that and Balerion crawled away a bit grumpy that he couldn't scare him.

"Sorry Balerion looks like you and the girls can't be the only pets anymore," Draegon said and everyone giggled again. Meraxes and Vhagar didn't seem to care.

Glynda voice was heard over the intercom, "Would all first-year students please report to the amphitheater?"

"Well, we can't exactly leave him here while we're gone for the week. Also, what about the Dragons? Is Drogon going to look after them?" Weiss asked.

Ruby sets Zwei down and he walks over to Blake still on the top bunk, and barks.

"Look, there's a letter!" Yang said as Zwei arrives in front of Yang. ""Dear girls, I've got to leave the island for a few days, so I'm sending Zwei to you to take care of. Enclosed is all the food you should need. Love you both, Taiyang."" Yang said as dozens of cans of dog food spill out of the small package, piling up around Zwei.

Draegon looked a bit shocked. "Okay that was weird," Draegon mumbled.

"What is he supposed to do with that?" Weiss asked. A can opener falls from the package, bouncing off Zwei's head.

"Well, that settles it! Come on everyone, Zwei will be here when we get back!" Yang said.

"Also, I have a plan for the babies," Draegon said as they looked at him waiting for him to continue to hear what his plan is.

"It's a secret," Draegon said quickly. The girls all shrug their shoulders thinking he was going to leave them with Drogon.

Weiss begins talking to Zwei as she leaves, "Oh, I'll miss you so much, we're going to be best friends, I can't wait to see you. She said as her speech deteriorates into incomprehensible baby talk.

Meanwhile, Blake jumps down from Ruby's bunk and jumps across the table, avoiding Zwei.

Ruby stares at Zwei for a moment, before smiling sneakily. She looks to see Draegon was staring at his big backpack then he looks back at her.

"You're thinking what I'm thinking right," Draegon smirked coolly and Ruby grinned.

Ruby and Draegon are wearing large backpacks as they enter the auditorium with other students. They then put them down next to other students' luggage before rejoining their team, who are standing in front of Team JNPR.

"Quiet! Quiet please. Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin." Glynda said as Ozpin walked up.

"Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom, but about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are well aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself: color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither were the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the Kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best." He said and steps away as the students all begin to file out of the amphitheater.

"This is perfect! All we have to do is shadow a Huntsman working in the southeast!" Ruby said excitedly.

"Yeah! We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip by night!" Yang said.

"I hope that works," Draegon said knowing whoever there with isn't going to be that stupid.

"Let's check "search and destroy"!" Weiss said. Team RWBY approaches a hologram screen.

"Here we go! Quadrant 5 needs Grimm cleared out!" Ruby said.

"Well, it's in the southeast!" Blake said.

"Sounds perfect!" Yang smiled.

Ruby selects it and types in her team's name. However, the screen says that first years are not allowed to take this mission.

"Wonderful!" Weiss said sarcastically.

"Any other ideas?" Blake asked.

"We mail ourselves there!" Ruby said sarcastically as well.

"Drogon and I could get you all there," Draegon said as the rest of team RWBY smiled at his idea.

"Well, that's some good options." Ozpin said as he suddenly appears.

"Unfortunately, we determined that the concentration of Grimm was too extreme for first-year students even if they have a massive fire breathing Dragon under their command. It seems that particular region is rather popular. In fact, I have the sneaking suspicion that you five will make your way there no matter which job you choose." Ozpin said smoothly.

Weiss, Blake, and Yang glare at Ruby and Draegon but Draegon quickly points at Ruby indicating she was the reason Ozpin knew, Ruby nervously rubs her head.

"Whatever makes you say that?" Ruby asks slowly.

"I'm still curious how you all found yourself at the docks last semester. I'm interested to know how you really learned about a hideout in the southeast. And I certainly wonder why witnesses reported seeing robots, Dragons, and rose petals in a dance club some time ago." Ozpin said particularly

"Um... well..." Ruby said slowly unable to find the right words.

"I doubt I'll ever find the exact answers I'm looking for. So how about this: instead of waiting for you all to break the rules, why don't we just bend them?" Ozpin asks and selects some things on his scroll, and the hologram screen makes a noise agreeing to team RWBY accepting this mission.

"We won't let you down. Thank you, professor." Ruby said with confidence.

"Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far. But you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the Kingdom will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman at all times, and do exactly as he say. He will be leading you on this mission, and he can have you sent back to Beacon, if he finds your skills to be unsatisfactory. Good luck." Ozpin said as he left.

Team RWBY have left the auditorium and are on their way to the airship that will take them to Quadrant 5.

"That wasn't exactly uplifting." Yang said.

"But it's the truth." Blake said.

"It's gonna to be tough, but I know we can do it!" Ruby said confidently.

"And not to brag but I've been outside the kingdoms from time to time so I know what to expect," Draegon said and team RWBY nodded liking the idea that one of their friends had a lot of experience.

A student runs past the team and shouts out, "Hey! Team CFVY is back!" he said.

Beacon students gather around to witness the return of Team CFVY. Blake goes up to Velvet Scarlatina.

"Velvet? Are you okay?" Blake asked concerned.

"I'm fine. I had Yatsuhashi to look out for me." Velvet said quickly.

"Your mission was supposed to end a week ago! What happened?" Weiss asked.

"Nothing happened. It was just ... there were just so many..." she said and looks up and notices Team RWBY's worried expressions. "Oh, but don't worry. You first-years are just shadowing Huntsmen, so you should be fine." Velvet said.

Draegon was deep in thought. "No matter how many Drogon and I killed more just kept respawning, this might be getting out of hand," he said in thought.

"Right." Yang said slowly.

"I should go. Be safe, okay?" Velvet asked and walked away.

"We can do this. We've never backed down before, and we're not going to start now." Ruby said motivated.

"Right." Blake said.

"Besides, it won't only be us out there! We'll be fighting alongside a genuine Huntsman!" Ruby added. Draegon nodded his head.

"Yeah!" Yang cheered.

Suddenly Team RWBY and Draegon are staring with various stunned expressions, having just discovered who they will be shadowing.

"Why, hello boys and girls! Who's ready to fight for their lives?" Oobleck said triumphantly.

"You have got to be kidding me," Draegon said smacking his head.

Well thats the chapter what do think. It's short but I promise there will be fighting in the next one. Draegon is tired of the White Fang and has decided to take them out for good. We are getting close to the end of Volume 2. I forgot to add this from my last chapter. I have not decided on pairs yet. The whole Yang kissing Draegon was just to make him feel better. People do that all the time and could just remain friends instead of lovers. I've liked Yang since RWBY was first released I always thought she was cute so I had a crush on her thats why I chose her to make the moves. If there is someone you want paired with Draegon let me know. The options are Draegon x one member of RWBY. Another is Draegon x RWBY harem style since I know a-lot of people like that idea. Also if any of you are interested. OC Draegon x another OC character that i'm thinking about in the future. Hope you liked the story have a good day. :)
