20 Facts About Sesshomaru-Sama

Sesshomaru barely remembers his mother. He remembers that she was beautiful and fierce. Sometimes when he catches glimpses of his reflection he thinks he can see her.

The only part of himself he can see in Inuyasha is his ambition and thirst to succeed. It must have run on his fathers' side.

Sesshomaru did not hate humans until his father died to protect one.

He hates Inuyasha for the same reason.

He found out about his poison claws on accident. One day he was sparring with a servant boy and accidentally killed him. This was one of the many sobering events in his life.

Another was his mothers' death.

Until Rin, he really did hate humans; it wasn't an act or anything of the sort. They were smelly and ridiculous with their fires and huts. After Rin he still hated them, but for an entirely different reason.

For the longest time it was his deepest secret that he brushed his hair an even 100 strokes every night. After the loss of his arm he had to ask Jaken to do it. The little demon always mumbled indignantly under his breath with every stroke.

Rin loved to brush his hair. She took over the job almost immediately after her rebirth.

Inuyasha really wasn't that great of a fighter. It was his persistence that saved him time after time. Sesshomaru always gave him the best advice, veiled as insults of course. Inuyasha was just too thick to realize it.

Sesshomaru found that no mater how much he hated his brother he wanted him to be strong. He told himself that it was because he didn't want him embarrassing the family line more.

He sometimes wondered what his life would be like if he hadn't revived Rin. The only adjective he could ever come up with was 'quieter.'

Sesshomaru never showed any emotion; only in battle did expression sneak onto his face. Sometimes this was hard to maintain with Rin giggling like a loon and Jaken wailing at the indignity of flower crowns.

One time he wants to accept the crown Rin makes for him just to see Jaken's reaction.

The only fault Sesshomaru saw in his father was his weakness for humans. Other than that he had found him to be perfect. Only he knew this.

He had never truly found his human form attractive until Rin ran her baby fingers around the crescent on his forehead and proclaimed him 'pretty.'

One night Kouga's wolves were very close to their camp and they could hear them howling. Rin woke up screaming and wordlessly Sesshomaru scooped her into his arms and let her sleep in his lap. They never speak of this, but the memory still makes the girl smile.

He heard Jaken tell Rin that she would be dead by the time he had an empire, the reminder of her mortality made something inside him ache.

After Rin died, he did remember her. He even took to wearing crowns of flowers in his hair.

Sesshomaru, although immortal, he does not expect to live forever.
