Hello fellow readers. I'm back with another chapter being Volume 3 finale. I'll save the speech for the end. I do not own RWBY or Game of Thrones they belong to their respective owners. Enjoy :)

FIRE and BLOOD in Remnant

End of the Beginning

In the darkened corridor of the Vault under Beacon. Flashes of green and vermilion are illuminated in the darkness. More flashes are shown as Ozpin and Cinder Fall clash weapons against each other. After a clash, Cinder slides back, using her hand to melt the floor below her, and summons ice crystals from the newly-formed substance, hurling them towards Ozpin. Ozpin deflects them all by moving at superhuman speed, and then darts forward and delivers a bunch of strikes at Cinder with his cane, with the last blow launching her back. Cinder then floats midair by unleashing her Maiden power. Ozpin then slams his cane into the floor, forming a spherical force-field around him. Cinder then unleashes a powerful fire blast, with Ozpin leaping into the attack with the barrier protecting him. As he closes in on her, everything fades to white.

Outside of Beacon air buses are seen picking up the last few civilians and students. Peter Port and Bartholomew Oobleck oversee the evacuation.

"That's it! Everybody on board! This is a mandatory evacuation!" Port called out.

"A safe zone has been established in Vale! Please, remain calm and listen to Atlas personnel!" Oobleck added.

Weiss Schnee stares at what is in front of her, in disbelief and Alysanne Velaryon looks away in shame. Draegon Targaryen and Ruby Rose come running down the path, Zwei barks to alert Weiss to her leader and friends presence, and Weiss turns around to greet them.

"Ruby! Draegon!" Weiss calls and claps Ruby's hand.

"Oh, I found you!" Ruby puffed while Draegon looked back at the direction he left Drogon and the others and remained silent.

"Ruby, Draegon, where have you…" Weiss started.

"Don't worry, were fine! What's going on?" Ruby asked. Unsure of what to say, Weiss lowers her gaze sadly.

"Weiss? What is it?" Ruby asks and Draegon sees something behind Weiss.

"Oh no!" Draegon said shocked and a little sad and Ruby looks at him confused. Weiss steps aside, giving Ruby a clear view of Blake and Yang lying on the ground. Both girls have bandages wrapped around their wounds, and the latter is unconscious. Behind them sit Nora and Ren, who are too battered and bruised to fight. Blake reaches over and places her hand on Yang's.

"I'm sorry." Blake said as she gets tears in her eyes.

Ruby reaches out and opens her mouth to say something, but in her emotional state, she doesn't know what to say. Draegon places his hand on her shoulder for comfort. He sees Alysanne looking at him briefly before looking away still ashamed.

"I'm so sorry." Blake repeats as she curls up, and closes her eyes.

"Yang..." Ruby said and Draegon free hand tightened to a fist and started shaking with rage.

"Who did this," Draegon almost snarled.

"It was Adam Taurus of the White Fang, I'm so sorry I didn't react fast enough to save them," Alysanne said ashamed and sadden. Sun seeing the tension walks over and speaks up.

"Hey. She's gonna be okay. The soldiers have a ship ready to take you guys to Vale." He explained.

"But Jaune and Pyrrha are still missing." Nora points out and attempts to stand, but she quickly sits back down, groaning and holding her side.

"What!?" Ruby asked shocked and that breaks Draegon from his rage as well.

"Look, guys, that giant Grimm is circling the school! Drogon couldn't beat it! Even the White Fang are pulling out! We all have to go, now!" Sun stated and Draegon realized that Adam was probably long gone by now.

"We're not... leaving!" Ren said as he tries to stand, but then falls to his knees. "Ugh!" He groans in pain. Sun turns and casts a worried look at Blake.

"I'll find them... I'll find them, and I'll bring them back." Ruby states.

"No! We will find them." Weiss states walking up next to her.

"Were stronger as a team Ruby," Draegon offered a smile while trying cool off from the rage as he stands next to her.

Weiss turns to Nora and Ren. "Watch after Blake and Yang. We'll be back." She spoke.

"Alysanne thanks for looking after Balerion and the others, they're protecting Drogon now, can you stay here with Ren and Nora as well?" Draegon asks and Alysanne smiles and nods, not having to worry about where the Dragons took off.

Ruby, Draegon, and Weiss run back toward Beacon Academy, while Sun and Alysanne watch them go.

"You better be! Idiots." Sun mutter and Alysanne speaks as well.

"Be careful," She called out.

Infront of Beacon Tower as Jaune and Pyrrha run out of the front door. The muffled sounds of Ozpin and Cinder's fight can be heard.

"Okay, I think I have Glynda's number." Jaune says as he walks away, looking at his Scroll. "Oh, where is it?" He asks.

Pyrrha turns and stares silently at Beacon Tower. Jaune's voice soon breaks her concentration.

"Pyrrha? What was all of that?" He asked.

Pyrrha turns to look at Jaune. "I..." She starts but their conversation is interrupted by an explosion, followed by Cinder using fire to fly up through the elevator shaft. The two teens stare at the tower in surprise.

"But... Ozpin..." Jaune said slowly.

"There's no time." Pyrrha said as she shakes her head, then looks at Jaune, quickly adopting a determined tone. "Go. Get to Vale and call for help." She commands.

"Huh? What are you gonna do?" Jaune asks and Pyrrha slowly turns her head to stare up at the top of Beacon Tower. Following her gaze, Jaune realizes what she plans to do.

"No... no, Pyrrha, you can't. You saw how powerful she is! Pyrrha, I won't let you do…" Jaune stated but was cut off as Pyrrha grabs Jaune's head in both hands and silences him with a long kiss on the lips. After a moment of hesitation, he gently pulls her in and returns the kiss, while Pyrrha slightly raises her foot behind her. She then pulls away, ending the kiss, and stares into his eyes, one hand on his cheek and the other on his chest.

"I'm sorry." Pyrrha said sadly and she then uses her Semblance on his armor, pushing him directly into a nearby locker, which slams shut from the impact.

"Hey! Wait! Stop, stop! Pyrrha, please don't do this!" Jaune pleads as Pyrrha walks over to the locker and begins typing coordinates into it. She looks him in the eyes one last time, before stepping back and watching the locker fly away. Once it vanishes into the distance, she clenches her fists and, once again, adopts a determined demeanor as she walks toward the tower.

Once she steps through the entrance, she runs to the nearest elevator and uses her Semblance to force the doors open. Inside, she finds that Cinder has left a large hole in the floor and roof of the elevator on her way up. Pyrrha steps inside the elevator, closes her eyes, and begins mustering all of her strength. The elevator begins shaking. She focuses even harder, straining herself, until the elevator begins a quick ascent toward the top.

Meanwhile, Ruby, Draegon, and Weiss are on their way back to Beacon campus, when Weiss' Scroll begins ringing.

"It's Jaune!" She stated and answers. "Where are you?" She asks.

"Weiss! Please, you have to stop her!" Jaune said in a panic voice in the street somewhere in Vale.

"What!?" Weiss asked.

"Pyrrha! She's going after that woman at the top of the tower! She doesn't stand a chance!" Jaune shouted.

"Cinder," Draegon said figuring it out which got Ruby's attention.

"Jaune, what are you talking about!? Where are you?" Weiss asked.

"Don't worry about me!" He shouts in his scroll speaker as he leans against a wall and speaks at a normal volume, his voice full of sadness now. "Please, you have to save Pyrrha."

"We will. Are you okay?" Weiss asked but with one last flare of emotion, Jaune screams and throws his Scroll onto the ground, breaking it. He collapses onto his hands and knees, crying.

"Please..." He cried in such pain and sadness.

"Jaune? Jaune!" Weiss called but got no answer.

The ground shakes, alerting Ruby, Draegon and Weiss to the danger that approaches them. The Wyvern flies into view, circling Beacon Tower with black ooze dripping from it. It perches on one of the arches stemming from the tower and utters a screech. Draegon narrows his eyes and Ruby draws Crescent Rose, shifting it into its scythe form in preparation for the Grimm spawning from the ooze.

"We have to save Pyrrha and kill that thing, there's no time to waste" Draegon said as he drew Blackfyre and Dark Sister and charged forward shocking Weiss and Ruby.

"Draegon wait," Weiss called but Draegon didn't listen, they lost Penny. Blake and Yang were injured badly. He couldn't let Cinder kill Pyrrha and let the Wyvern Grimm get away with hurting Drogon, not while he still drew breath.

"HHHHAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH," Draegon shouted as all his dust clothes glow and fire shoots from his feet as he jumps and rockets forward towards the back of the Wyverns head intending to kill it but as he's flying through the air his fire stops and his clothes stop glowing meaning he's used all his fire dust up in his previous battles. His eyes widen as he falls forward but he aims his swords and stabs them into the low side of the Wyverns back. Draegon uses his swords to slowly start climbing up the giant Grimm's back by stabbing his swords into it and using them as climbers. However, since it was so large it didn't even notice what Draegon was doing. Ruby and Weiss watched the whole thing from bellow and notice more Grimm coming their way.

"I have a plan." Ruby said as she got ready to fight.

"You always do." Weiss said as she draws Myrtenaster and hopping Draegon could reach Pyrrha before it's too late.

At the top of the tower, in Ozpin's office, a large amount of smoke flows out from the elevator, masking the entrance of Cinder Fall. She confidently strides to the window across the room, a smirk on her face. As if sensing her presence, the Wyvern climbs up to the top with Draegon still hanging on, it peers at her through the window, and screeches.

"Shhhh... This is your home now." Cinder said with a gentle, comforting tone.

The Wyvern stares at her and utters a shorter, quieter screech. Cinder backs away from the window and holds her hand out to the side, creating a fireball in her palm. The sound of sparks distracts her, and she looks over her shoulder at the elevator, her fireball dissipating. After a few moments, the sparks come to a stop, and immediately upon the elevator doors' opening, Pyrrha's spear flies toward Cinder, who casually leans to her right to dodge with a smirk on her face.

The spear is soon followed by Pyrrha's shield, backed by Pyrrha herself, and Cinder puts her arms up, blocking it and pushing it away. Draegon reached the neck of the Grimm and saw Pyrrha and Cinder fighting so he smashes through the window its next to and brings a double downward slash at Cinder with both swords but Cinder dodges it again and Draegon summersaults before turning around and standing next to Pyrrha as he nods at her and she nods back. While Cinder uses fire to hover in the air, Pyrrha calls her spear and shield back to her with polarity and Draegon twirls his swords since he couldn't end it in a surprise attack, and they begin staring down their opponent. Cinder gains a fiery glow around her eyes and swipes her hand through the air, attacking both Pyrrha and Draegon with an arc of fire. She then shoots a stream of fire, which Pyrrha dives over. Draegon blocks it with his swords but his jacket gets hit and he actually feels the pain of heat a bit on his arms which shocks him a bit. His swords are okay for now but Draegon realizes that he should dodge to be safe. Draegon then thrust his right hand forward while still holding Blackfyre and activated his semblance.

"STOP," Draegon shouted but Cinder smirked as she was still floating in the air and nothing happened.

"That's not her semblance Draegon, it's the powers of a Maiden," Pyrrha explained shocking Draegon since he never knew the Maidens actually existed and Cinder smirked evilly.

"OH GREAT," Draegon said sarcastically as they were in a bad situation.

Six small fireballs form in a circle behind Cinder, and she sends another streak of fire towards Pyrrha and Draegon, who barely avoid it. Once again, the Maiden sends a stream of fire the young redhead's way, but this time, Pyrrha blocks it with her shield. She leaps toward Cinder, powering through the flame, and as soon as the fire stops, she spins around and slashes Cinder's arm with her spear. However, Cinder catches the blade and pulls, turning Pyrrha around. Cinder slams her palm into Pyrrha's stomach, and fire bursts forth, blasting Pyrrha away. Pyrrha slams into a wall and falls to her hands and knees. Draegon attacks and Cinder forms glass swords and the two-start dual-wielding against each other. No matter what angle Draegon attacks with his swords Cinder counters each strike with her own. Draegon spin kicks Cinder causing her to drop her blades but as Draegon jumps at her with another downward slash, she shoots a torrent of fire which pushes him sliding back next to Pyrrha.

Pyrrha then stands back up and faces Cinder with determination still in her eyes as does Draegon. Cinder propels herself forward with flames jetting from her hands, smirking once again. She attempts to slam into Pyrrha's abdomen, but Pyrrha leaps into the air above her and wraps her arm around Cinder's. As Cinder slows to a stop, Pyrrha positions herself to place her feet on the wall behind her and pushes off, flipping herself over Cinder. She uses the momentum to flip and toss Cinder across the floor. Cinder lands on her front and, as she slides, she pushes off the floor to get back on her feet and perform a back-handspring. Her smirk turns into a look of slight concern upon the sight of Pyrrha and Draegon charging forward and Pyrrha slams her shield into Cinder's abdomen and push her over. As Cinder stumbles backwards, Pyrrha hits Cinder's right hand with the blunt end of her spear, then slashes Cinder's left hand with the spear's blade. She then spins around and slashes across Cinder's abdomen and legs. Pyrrha spins around to attack again, but Cinder performs a backflip whilst kicking Pyrrha, with flames trailing behind her foot. She forms swords again as Draegon attacks with Blackfyre and Dark Sister and he appears more focused but Cinder uses her Maiden's fire to speed herself up this time as their blades clash. Cinder soon spins around Draegon at great speed when she just barely dodged a slash from Blackfyre and slashes Draegon in his back cutting his hooded jacket that his mother gave him in half diagonally across the red three headed Dragon and kicks Draegon who stumbles to the ground unconscious as he's in his white T-shirt and his diced jacket falls beneath Cinders feet. As Pyrrha is in the air she quickly rights herself. She flips her spear in her grip, holds it back, and then tosses it toward Cinder while firing the gun mechanism. Six fireballs appear around Cinder again, but they dissipate when Cinder backhands the spear away. Pyrrha's shield then flies toward her, and she hits it away, as well. After being momentarily distracted by the shield, Cinder returns her attention to Pyrrha and gains a look of slight surprise, then annoyance.

Pyrrha launches herself toward Cinder and puts her arms around her, tackling her. The two turn each other in mid-air, fighting to be the one on top. Upon their landing, the room fills with a white cloud. When the dust settles, Pyrrha has Cinder in a choke hold, and Cinder is barely managing to hold Pyrrha's spear away from her neck. The Wyvern flies away, and Cinder's eyes begin glowing as she applies heat to the spear in her hands. Her grip tightens as she heats the spear more and more, staring over her shoulder at Pyrrha. Draegon starts to get up and sees Pyrrha and Cinder then he sees the Wyvern Grimm screech.

Upon hearing a loud screech, Cinder turns her gaze ahead and smirks, while Pyrrha gains a look of fear and Draegon looks surprised. While Pyrrha sets her focus on the Wyvern that is flying toward the tower, Cinder finally snaps the spear's melted blade into pieces. Just before the Wyvern slams its wing into the roof of Ozpin's office, Cinder elbows Pyrrha in the abdomen. The room fills with a green glow as the windows shatter and Pyrrha goes flying across the room. Draegon flips in midair to dodge the Giant cogs and debris that come crashing down in the office, and the structure containing the CCT's transmitter falls to the ground outside, in pieces.

Pyrrha crawls toward her shield and Draegon slowly stands up again with his swords, while Cinder watches on from her position levitating off the floor with flame jetting from her feet. While looking for a way to distract Cinder, Pyrrha notices Ozpin's collapsed metal desk, she looks at Draegon who nods with her idea and uses her polarity to throw it at the corrupt Maiden, knocking her to the floor. She then quickly grabs her shield and rolls across the floor, sitting up on her knees and holding the shield up. With a burst of flame, Cinder throws the desk off of herself and levitates in the air. Draegon runs towards her at great speed but Cinder shoots fire balls at them both. Pyrrha and Draegon roll out of the way of two streams of fire that Cinder sends their way and Pyrrha attempts to block a third. However, the force of the third sends Pyrrha tumbling backward, and the floor momentarily catches fire while Pyrrha rolls to her feet. Draegon jumps to the side as this happens. From behind the wall of flame, Pyrrha throws her shield at Cinder, who confidently backhands it away. Draegon runs at Cinder and makes multiple fast slashes at Cinder who instead makes a fire shield to withstand all those fast attacks and burst the shield which throws Draegon back but Draegon looks at her and smirks.

Cinder then looks up in surprise to see a multitude of giant cogs floating in the air around her. Using her polarity, Pyrrha directs her shield to knock Cinder's feet from beneath her and then slams a cog down on Cinder's abdomen to pin her to the floor. She calls her shield back to her arm, then brings the cogs together into a pile on top of Cinder. Draegon nods to Pyrrha and charges at Cinder to finish her off as she's trapped beneath the gears. However, Cinder blasts them away with a powerful burst of fire, sending them in all directions. One of the cogs flies toward Pyrrha, who raises her shield to block, in vain. The force of the impact slams her into the remains of a wall, taking away the last of her Aura. Draegon gets hit by another gear and it loosens his grip on Blackfyre which stabs the ground as he drops it and Draegon hits a broken wall behind him and the gear falls onto his left arm holding Dark Sister causing all his Aura to disappear as he groans in pain from being crushed.

On the ground below, Ruby and Weiss fight off Grimm.

"We've gotta hurry!" Ruby shouted and Weiss looks around for a moment, before casting a series of glyphs up the side of the tower.

"You can do this." Weiss said and nods to Ruby as Ruby runs forward, then uses her Semblance to propel herself up to the first glyph. She then sprints up the wall, the glyphs propelling her forward and keeping her from falling off.

Cinder forms an obsidian bow in her hand. As she raises it up and draws back an obsidian arrow, Pyrrha charges forward, spins, and throws her shield at her. Cinder looses the arrow, which shatters upon impact with the side of the shield. However, as the fragment's part ways above and below the shield, they glow orange and rejoin each other on the other side. The fragments melt into each other and cool into the shape of an arrow, which continues on its path directly into Pyrrha's ankle. Pyrrha collapses in pain. She attempts to pull herself to her feet, but the pain is too much. Both ends of the arrow break off, making removal impossible. She turns over onto her hands and knees as Cinder moves to stand in front of her while grabbing Blackfyre off the ground it was stabbed in. She also steps on the two halves of Draegon cut up Jacket and burns into nothing but ashes. Draegon sees this as the wind blows the small remaining ashes away and a tear drops from his eye.

"It's unfortunate you were promised a power that was never truly yours." Cinder said as she kneels down and lifts Pyrrha's chin with her free hand, staring into her eyes and smiling. "But take comfort in knowing that I will use it in ways you could never have imagined." She continued.

"Do you believe in destiny?" Pyrrha asked as she pulls away, sitting up and matching Cinder's stare.

"Yes." Cinder said with a frown along with narrowing her eyes.

Cinder stands back up and looks at Blackfyre admiring the blade before aiming it at her weakened opponent.

"Don't do it Cinder or I swear I will not rest until you are hunted down and burned alive," Draegon threatened and seethed with anger as he struggled to move his left hand from under the gear along with Dark Sister. Cinder just calmly smirks at him before looking back at Pyrrha.

Nearby, Ruby finally reaches the top of the tower, landing in a kneeling position. She looks upon the scene, seeing Pyrrha sitting with her eyes closed, accepting the fate that awaits her. Cinder thrust Blackfyre forward and stabs Pyrrha directly in the center of her chest and the bloody blade comes out the other side. Ruby watches in horror as Pyrrha gasps in pain and Draegon free hand is held out to try and stop it but fails and he starts shaking as his eyes turn into slits, the wound in her chest begins emitting a red glow. Cinder places her free hand on Pyrrha's head again, using her Maiden powers to flash incinerate her. Pyrrha instantly ceases all movement and sound, her body glowing orange and then scattering as embers. Her headdress remains in Cinder's hand, and the villain drops it on the floor. This scene is reflected in Ruby's silver eyes, which widen in despair and become filled with tears. Ruby clenches her fists, curls her arms to her body, and then suddenly flings her arms out to the sides, beginning to levitate slightly off the ground. Brilliant white light flows from her eyes as she screams out the name of her dear friend.

"PYRRHAAAAAA!" Ruby screams.

The white light envelopes her, spreading out to the Wyvern as it roars in pain as its enveloped and Cinder. Draegon roars with rage as he throws his arms upwards with massive strength and the gear gets sent flying.

"RRRRRRRAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH," Draegon screams with rage as his slit purple Dragon eyes turn briefly into silver as well.

"WHAT?!" Cinder said in complete shock at Ruby.

"CINDER," Draegon roared as he ran at her and before she can even react, Draegon brings Dark Sister in an upward slash at her left arm before spinning around and bringing it down on her face as she dropped Blackfyre and screamed in pain.

Everything goes white, with a whistle noise playing for several seconds. A pair of voices echo from nearby.

"It's alright. I got ya, kiddo. I got ya. Draegon come on kid get up," Qrow said.

"Ugh…. Qrow what…happened?" Draegon asks slowly.

There's a Pause. Radio static is soon heard.

"Nothing." Taiyang voice sighed in frustration.

"Just turn it off. Without the CCT, there's no point." Qrow said.

"Communication down across the entire Kingdom, no way to contact the outside world... and Ozpin's still missing." Taiyang says.

"Yeah." Qrow says simply.

"This is bad, Qrow." Taiyang states seriously.

"Yeah, this is bad." Qrow agrees.

Ruby is asleep in an unfamiliar bed, wearing gray pajamas. Birds are tweeting and sunlight is streaming onto the wall behind the bed's headboard. After a few seconds, she wakes up and looks over to see her father asleep in a chair. She sits up and sighs quietly, causing Taiyang to stir awake.

"Ruby!" Tai said happily as he gets up and runs to kneel by her bed. "You're awake!" He spoke.

"Ugh... what happened?" Ruby groaned in pain while asking.

"Your uncle Qrow found you, unconscious. He got you out of there, though, and brought you home safe." Tai explained.

Ruby looks down in thought for a split second, then looks at Taiyang. "Wait! Yang! Is she alright!?" She asked.

"Uh... She's uh... she's gonna be alright. I think she's just... I think it's just gonna take some time for her to get used to things. She's too strong to let this stop her." Taiyang said as he covers his eyes for a moment, sniffling, then looks up, smiling. "I'm just glad to have my girls back at home." He said happily.

"What happened to the school?! And Vale?! Were they able to clear out the Grimm?" Ruby asked.

"Things at Vale are under control, but the school... It's... it's not that simple. That thing, whatever it is, doesn't seem to be dead. Don't get me wrong, you did a number on it. But it's not disappearing. It's... kind of... frozen. I know that doesn't sound too bad, but it keeps attracting more Grimm to the school." Taiyang said slowly.

"I did... what?" Ruby asked confused as she tilts her head.

"Hmm?" Taiyang asked.

"You said I did a number on it. What do you mean?" Ruby asked still confused.

"I... Look that's not important right now. We can talk about it later. Things are just... kind of a mess." Taiyang said slowly.

"It's always a mess." Qrow spoke up getting Ruby and Taiyang look to see Qrow suddenly standing in the room, near the door. He finishes off the contents of his flask before continuing.

"Mind if we have a minute?" Qrow asks Tai

"What, I can't stay here?!" Taiyang ask/retorted.

"Tai. Please." Qrow said seriously.

Taiyang stands up, sighs, and then leans in to kiss Ruby on the forehead. "I'm glad you're alright." He said and starts walking away. "I'll go make us some tea." He said but glares at Qrow on the way out, but the latter doesn't appear to care. As Qrow approaches Ruby's bed, he grabs the chair and drags it with him. He then spins it around to face the bed and sits in it with a significant slouch, crossing one leg over the other.

"So, how you feeling?" Qrow asked.

"Um... I kind of hurt... all over." Ruby said slowly in pain.

Qrow chuckles before speaking. "That makes sense, after what you did." He said and crosses his arms.

"You guys keep saying that! That I did something! What are you talking about?!" Ruby asked stressed out.

Qrow uncrosses his arms and legs, leaning forward in the chair. "What's the last thing you remember?" He asked.

"I ran up the side of the tower, and when I got to the top, I..." Ruby starts but gasps, sadness in her eyes. "Pyrrha! Is she...?" Ruby asks slowly and scarred.

"She's gone." Qrow said and looks down.

"I..." Ruby starts with tears filling her eyes. "I... I got to the top..." She said and begins crying. "And I saw Pyrrha….and Draegon." She then looks angry before continuing, "and Cinder..." She grips her blanket, tears falling onto it, "and then everything went white!"

"Anything else?" Qrow asked.

"I remember my head hurting." Ruby said while wiping the tears from her eyes then widen them.

"Draegon is he okay?" Ruby asked and Qrow smiled a little.

"Why don't you ask him yourself," Qrow said as Draegon came into the room but his left arm was in a cast since it was still healing.

"He actually arrived a few minutes ago to check up on you and Yang," Qrow said and Ruby smiled at him and Draegon slightly smiled back.

"Hey Ruby," Draegon said as he walked over and hugged her and Ruby smiled that he was okay and hugged him back sincerely but a tear fell from Draegon and landed on Ruby breaking her from the hug. She then looked at Draegon and saw the sadness in his eyes.

"I'm so sorry about Pyrrha, I just wasn't strong enough," Draegon said sadly and Ruby hugged his waist from her bed in comfort as Draegon looked away and his hair covered his eyes as her grit his teeth.

"I know it's not your fault," Ruby said as tears fall from her eyes as she continued to hug him. Ruby suddenly realized something.

"What happen after I was knocked out and what happened to Cinder? Drogon, Balerion, Vhagar, and Meraxes, are they okay?" Ruby asks quickly concerned since Draegon was there.

"After I saw Pyrrha…you know," Draegon said slowly and Ruby nodded as he continued. "My mind went blank and then everything went White like you said before I passed out. Your uncle Qrow woke me up and when I came to, Cinder was gone. Lester my old friend and contact appeared and took me to his boat to treat my wounds along with Drogon crawling after me and the young Dragons following through the air. I lost conscious afterwards. When I came to, I was at his house and Lester told me that you were still knocked out and Yang was still in bed so I rushed over and here we are." Draegon said Ruby smiled and glad he was okay but then though of something else.

"How's Drogon doing?" She asked worried since he took a beating from the Wyvern Grimm.

"Lester's boat was big enough to carry him here to Patch, he needs rest and is going to be grounded for a few months but he'll make a full recovery if he doesn't strain himself," Draegon said as he breathed a sigh of relief the Drogon aura took most of the damage and was slowly healing him and would allow him to fly again in the future. Qrow decided to break the silence they were having to speed them up to date on what's going on because they have the right to know.

"The night you two met Ozpin, what was the first thing he said to you?" Qrow asked.

"I... I don't know. I think it was something about..." Ruby said slowly while looking at Draegon confused.

"Silver eyes. That's an extremely rare trait." Qrow answered.

"So?" Ruby was still confused.

"You're special, Ruby. And not in the "Daddy loves his special angel" kind of way. You're special the same way your mom was. Remnant's full of legends and stories, some of them true, some made up. But there's one Oz told me from a very long time ago. Back before Huntsmen, before Kingdoms, it was said that those born with silver eyes were destined to lead the life of a warrior. You see, the creatures of Grimm, the most fearsome monster's mankind had ever encountered, were afraid of those silver-eyed warriors. They were the best of the best. It was said that even a single look from one of these fighters could strike a Grimm down. Heh. It's a ridiculous story." Qrow explained.

"But... you think that I might be..." Ruby said slowly starting to understand what Qrow was getting at.

"Well, a giant monster is currently frozen on top of Beacon Tower. And you're here, safe in bed." Qrow said while chuckling. He gets to his feet and walks over to a window, leaning on the sill and staring outside.

"Wait, wait, how did you know what Ozpin said to me or Draegon... the night we met?" Ruby asked.

"I too am curious about that Qrow?" Draegon asked while he narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"All those missions I go on... all the times I'm away in some far-off place... or when I was trying to track down Draegon and his Dragon Drogon only to find out he came here…it's been for Ozpin. But he's missing now. Something's been set in motion. With Oz gone, I'll have to pick up where he left off." Qrow said seriously.

"Then what can we do? If I'm so special, then I can help, right and so can Draegon?" Ruby asked hopefully and looked at Draegon who was unsure.

"You two really wanna help? Get some rest. You're in no condition to go anywhere right now." Qrow said as he starts heading to the door. "Besides, our enemy's trail leads all the way to Haven. That'd be quite a trip for a pipsqueak like you or a flight like you kid." He added but winks as well to them. "Catch ya later, kiddo." Qrow finished and leaves.

Ruby sits alone for a while. She looks at the window that Qrow looked out of, then stares at herself in a mirror hanging on the wall across from her bed. Draegon starts to walk away towards the exit to leave Ruby alone but she grabs his uninjured hand.

"Let's go see how Yang's doing, together," Ruby said hoping Draegon wouldn't leave her. Draegon nods his head and the two leave.

Yang sits alone in a spare bedroom, staring out a window. Her remaining piece of Ember Celica rests on the nightstand next to the bed. Ruby stands in the doorway with Draegon behind her.

"Yang?" Ruby asked slowly.

She waits for a moment, but when she receives no response from Yang, she turns to leave.

"Ruby." Yang said and Ruby turns back around, and Yang turns her head to look at her younger sister, tears now in her eyes. Ruby runs over and hugs her.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" Ruby said with tears of joy.

"But I'm not." Yang said and Ruby frowns and releases the hug.

"It's all gone - the school, Penny, Pyrrha, and..." Yang states but then looks at her severed arm.

"Yang, where are Weiss and Blake?" Ruby asked.

"Weiss' father... came for her." Yang said slowly.

"What? What do you mean?" Ruby asked confused.

"No one outside of Vale knows what happened here. Before the tower fell, the last thing people saw was Atlas attacking innocent people and Grimm destroying the city. Everyone's scared. No one knows who to trust. So, Weiss' father came to take her back to Atlas, where he thinks it's safe. She's gone." Yang said.

"Well, what about…" Ruby started about to ask about Blake but Yang cut her off.

"And Blake ran! Sun saw her go. After we got to the city, she just...ran!" Yang said in anger.

"But... why!?" Ruby asked sadly.

"I don't know... and I don't care." Yang said.

"There has to be a reason she…" Ruby defended but Yang cut her off again.

"No, there doesn't! Sometimes bad things just happen, Ruby!" Yang said.

"So, what do we do now?" Ruby asked.

"You can do whatever you want. I'm gonna lie here." Yang said.

"Yang come on you can't give up like that," Draegon said deciding to speak up. "You're a fighter and your alive that's what matters I…." Draegon continued but Yang cut him off.

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT FROM YOU DRAEGON," Yang snapped at him in anger surprising him and Ruby as well before she continued. "You left us to go fight on your own, you promised you'd always be there when we needed you but you weren't. You couldn't even save Pyrrha." Yang said and whispered the last part but it was heard by everyone in the room. Draegon kept feeling like he was getting punched over and over again. "Maybe you are just a stranger who doesn't belong here." Yang said and Draegon squeezed his fist and his hair covered his eyes. He then unclenches his fist and turns around and left without saying anything.

"Draegon wait," Ruby called but he didn't respond. She looked back at Yang.

"Yang..." Ruby said sadly.

"Just leave me alone." Yang finally said and Ruby slowly leaves the room, but she pauses in the doorway, looking over her shoulder to say one last thing.

"I love you." Ruby said as a leaf falls from the tree outside Yang's window and slowly drifts to the ground. Ruby looked for Draegon but he already disappeared.

Draegon walks back through the island of patch to Lester's house in a slow way with his hair covering his eyes as he walks. He reaches a tree and stops as his head leans on it and tears drop from his eyes in sadness. He then hauls off and starts banging his head into the tree in anger. Over and over, he does that even his aura that was barely starting to restore had shattered again but Draegon didn't stop. He also used his right hand to punch it as well. Blood was soon coming form his knuckles and his forehead but he didn't seem to care.

"Draegon, Draegon stop, STOP," Alysanne said appearing behind him and grabbing him and embracing him in a tight hug. Alysanne buried his head into her chest to try and soothe the pain.

"Stop," Alysanne said as she continued to hug him. "Its okay," Alysanne said in a soothing voice.

"I let them all down," Draegon cried in pain.

"No, you didn't. It's okay just let out. Let yourself fall apart. I promise to hold you together," Alysanne said soothingly as Draegon sunk to the ground on his knees and Alysanne followed as tears flowed out of Draegon as he cried in sadness. Balerion, Meraxes, and Vhagar soon appeared and snuggled their heads up on Draegon back sensing their brother's sadness.

An hour later Draegon slowly gets up and Alysanne helps him. "Do you feel better now?" Alysanne asked and Draegon nodded slowly.

"Yeah…. I just haven't felt this awful since my mother died but no one criticized me afterwards and Drogon was the only one to support me," Draegon said as he walked towards Lester's house with Alysanne walking behind him.

"Yang was just upset and needed to take her anger out on something and she didn't want to do it towards Ruby, she shouldn't have done it but I don't think she meant it. I felt the same way when my uncle died no one was there for me but then Lester came along and adopted me." Alysanne said and then realized that Draegon frowned a little and Alysanne guessed what it was about. "I know he should have told us both about each other but he said he wanted us to focus on our main goals and that we would meet eventually," Alysanne said quickly defending him in case he doesn't take his anger out on Lester. Draegon nodded at the logic and really didn't feel any anger towards him.

Soon they made it towards Lester's house on the cliffs and Drogon was seen lying on burned grass with a pile of animal carcasses nearby. Drogon looked at them as Draegon walked over and started petting his scaley snout. Draegon saw the holes in his wings and the deep cuts all over his body from fighting the Grimm. He soon looked at Drogon eye that was staring back at him.

"I guess the question is what do we do now because I don't know what to do." Draegon said sadly and Alysanne nodded at the problems he was facing. Drogon nuzzled him in support.

"The way I see it you've got three choices," Lester stated as he walked towards them all carrying folded up clothes with black gauntlets.

"Your regular combat clothes are about to fall apart so I did some adjustments to the ones you used when you went looking for clues about Torchwick and the White Fang, by the way what happened to him? I heard he was on an Atlas Ship and then disappeared." Lester asked.

"BURP," Drogon burped that got everyone's attention. "Does that that answer your question," Draegon said with a raised eyebrow and Lester nodded forgetting that Drogon still ate people as well. Lester coughed and resumed focus.

"Your three choices are, stay here and heal slowly, leave and go your own way, or stay and heal faster while training and then go with Ruby to Haven to try and stop bad things from happening." Lester said shocking Draegon that he heard what Qrow said. Draegon then narrows his eyes as he knew how Lester would get info quickly would be to bug people. Draegon reaches on his back and feels a speaker bug on him. He pulls it off and gives Lester a raised eyebrow before giving it to Alysanne who shook her head at her adopted dad.

"Before you start getting pissed at me eavesdropping, I did that so I can get up to date faster on news, I also made these gauntlets for you that have all sorts of mini weapons and defenses in them. The left one has a shield while the right one has claw blades attached but the rest you'll need to train and read through the manual." Lester said defending himself. He then pulled out a piece of leather and Draegon saw that it was one of the Dragon heads from his jacket that his mother Daenerys gave him.

"I found this as well when I came to get you," Lester said in a solemn tone now.

Alysanne then pulled out the book Fire and Blood and gave it to Draegon who took it and decided to put the ripped leather piece inside it for safe keeping.

"I've caught up to where we all left off at Draegon thanks for letting me borrow it." Alysanne said thanking Draegon who nodded. "Listen whatever choice you pick you have my full support and I would be happy to help you out in anyway even going with you as the Velaryon's always followed the Targaryen's …" Alysanne said with a smile but then paused before becoming upset. "Unfortunately, I can't go with you this time. General Ironwood is calling all his troops back and I only took some time off to make sure you're okay. So, I only can stay for a little while longer but then I have to leave," Alysanne said disappointed.

"You're just doing your job as a huntress; I understand and I can't thankyou enough for it." Draegon said as he nodded his head.

"I'll help Ironwood and clear Atlas name as best as I can as well as keep an eye on Weiss and hopefully maybe you'll come and join us," Alysanne stated before leaning over and whispering in his ear. "We can go on a date once you arrive, because I'm not losing to your team," she said and kissed him on the cheek and winking at him making Draegon blush and caused Lester to glare at Draegon.

"I should be allowed to have a man in my life now father," Alysanne said as she noticed Lester's glare and glares back at him.

Lester decides to speak up again to take his mind off of having to let his daughter go. "The choice is yours Draegon, Drogon can't come with you but I promise to heal him as fast as I can so he can fly after you, also if you plan to go after Cinder and fight her again you should be careful. When I was tending to your wounds your arm was burned leaving a scar which I found odd because fire can't hurt you thanks to your Dragon blood but it would appear that magical fire can which is another reason I added the shield and advise you to be careful when you face Cinder," Lester warned causing Draegon to get serious and nod as well. "So, what path will you take Draegon Targaryen?" Lester asked and Draegon looked at Drogon who looked back at him. He contemplated over what choice he would make and when he had an answer, he looked up to see some leaves fall to the ground.

Over time, the ground becomes covered in snow.

Ruby steps outside, wearing a backpack, and quietly shuts the front door.

"Hey." Jaune spoke up.

"Hey, Jaune. Haven's a long way to go." Ruby said happily.

"I know. It's the only way we have." Jaune said.

"Are you sure you want to come along?" Ruby asked.

"The journey will be perilous, and whether we'll find answers at the end is entirely uncertain." Ren said popping up.

"But we wouldn't be here if we weren't up for it." Nora added.

"Then let's get started." Ruby said and the four begin their long trek, down the road leading away from Taiyang's home. However, a screech is heard and makes the four stop and see Balerion, Meraxes, and Vhagar fly around and over them. Draegon soon appears smiling at them all and they notice he's in his new combat clothes. His new black coat now had a red three headed Dragon on the back and left front side like his old one. He wore the new gauntlets that were black as well. However, there were two things about him that was really peculiar. One was that he had Dark Sister strapped to the left side of his waist while Blackfyre was on his back under his backpack. The other was that his hair wasn't that white anymore, it almost looked silver.

"Mind if we all tag along?" Draegon asked and Ruby smiled as she walked up and hugged him glad that he came back.

"Are you doing, okay?" Ruby asked and Draegon nodded.

"A lot was needed to process of what happened but What's done is Done." Draegon said before looking over at the others. "Jaune, Nora, Ren, you have my deepest apologies for failing you but I promise I will get Pyrrha the justice she deserves and Cinder will only get FIRE and BLOOD," Draegon said as walked up to them and nodded to them.

Jaune placed a hand on his shoulder and nodded back. "We'll all get Pyrrha the justice she deserves," Jaune said and Ren and Nora nodded. Draegon nodded and looked over at Ruby.

"Well then Ruby, lead us to Haven," Draegon said and Ruby smiled as the now five starts walking away with the three young Dragons overhead.

"A smaller, more honest soul and someone willing do what's right as a hero... It's true that a simple spark can ignite hope, breathe fire into the hearts of the weary. The ability to derive strength from hope is undoubtedly mankind's greatest attribute. Which is why I will focus all of my power... to snuff it out." A Sinister voice speaks up as if narrating.

As it is spoken, Taiyang is seen bringing breakfast to Ruby's bedroom, but suddenly drops it when he sees she's not there. The concerned father then runs out of the room, unaware of the note Ruby left behind on her bed. As Taiyang runs past Yang's bedroom, she notices a raven perched on a branch, before watching it fly off.

"How does it feel, knowing that all of your time and effort has been for nothing? That your guardians have failed you? That your newly acquired asset and his pets have failed you? That everything you've built will be torn down before your very eyes? Your faith in mankind was not misplaced. When banded together, unified by a common enemy, they are a noticeable threat. But divide them, place doubt into their minds, and any semblance of power they once had will wash away." She continued.

Grimm are seen marching toward the ruins of Beacon. In Vale, Glynda is seen trying to repair a shop with her telekinesis, but fails to hold it together. Elsewhere, Blake is seen running across rooftops. She stops to notice Beacon in the distance before continuing onward. Weiss is then shown sitting in a passenger plane with her father. Lester is still typing on his computer in his home but gives Alysanne a hug before she leaves as well.

"Of course, they won't realize it at first. Like you, they'll cling to their fleeting hope, their aspirations. But this is merely the first move." The voice spoke as Ruby is seen visiting her mother's gravestone again, before turning to join Jaune, Nora, and Ren. She then saw Draegon coming up and placing some blue winter roses he found onto Summers Gravestone and that caused Ruby to smile a little.

"So, you send your guardians, your Huntsmen and Huntresses, your mighty Dragons, and when they fail and you turn to your smaller soul and hero, know that you send them to the same pitiful demise." As she speaks it reveals an ominous-looking stone stairway lined with dark, purple crystals. A figure in black overlooking a barren wasteland.

"This is the beginning of the end, Ozpin..." The voice said as she turns her head around and speak revealing herself to be Salem. "And I can't wait to watch you burn." Salem said sinisterly.

Her eyes glow ominously as she makes an evil grin.

Qrow is seen watching Ruby and her friends continuing on their journey. He then holds up Ozpin's cane, before jumping from the cliff. A crow takes his place and flies towards Ruby's group. However what Qrow didn't know was that where he was standing a moment ago was replace by a new figure. It was and animal that was quietly panting just barely heard. A Paw is in view and it turns out that the paw looked like a wolfs but bigger and it was pure white.

Well I don't know what to say but I'll say what I can. I hoped you all enjoyed it. To all you Pyrrha fans I'm sorry but even Draegon wasn't prepared to fight a Maiden but he will in the future that I promise you and if you have questions at all know that I will be explaining them down the road of the story in new chapters. Some of you wanted Draegon to go on his own and I'm sorry but I want my character to be loyal to his friends. Yes Alysanne fell in love with Draegon at first sight but she is the patient type and won't quit. I also hide some clues about where my story will go and what characters will appear in the future. His gaunlets look like the Mandalorians but Black instead of silver and they do other things that you'll soon seen so be patient. I'm thinking of adding some more OCs to my story. Right now I have two with perfect origins, would you be interested? Anyway I hope you comment on the story and on what you think. I'm going to take a few weeks off to rest a bit but I promise I will continue working on it. Just don't expect any new post these next few weeks. Have an awesome day.
