She crashed through the doors of the cafeteria, running full pelt, managed five whole meters on the polished floors before, in one fluid motion, she dropped to her knees and slid the remaining length of the hall, coming to rest at the feet of a very startled lunch lady. There was an equally startled silence during which, the girl in question grabbed the hem of the worker's apron and started singing, both loudly and out of key.
"I many not always love him," She declared using her captive's clothing to haul herself upright once more.Clamping one arm around said captive's waist to prevent any attempt at escape, she continued.
"As long as there are stars above him." She warbled gesturing to the 'stars' or rather the grimy ceiling.
"And if he should ever leave us..." ( To this day no-one has been able to locate the other half of 'us)
"...The world would go on still, believe us." She swept her arm, indicating the tables of shell-shocked students, all who had abandoned their food in order to gape at her.
"The world could show NOTHING to me!" With this she clapped a hand over her heart in the manner of a patriotic politician or a soldier who had just been shot.
"So what good would living do me?" She crashed dramatically back to her knees, dragging the now terrified Lunch Lady with her.
"God only knows what I'd do without you!" She cried, now swaying on her knees and waving her hand above her head in a way that was reminiscent of a very moved worshiper.
"GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT I'D DO WITHOUT YOU!" Louder this time, just to make sure everyone understood this perfectly. If not for the concrete walls her deceleration would have probably reached the BBC casting agents whom it was aimed at.
After a seconds pause she released the shaking Lunch Lady, stood up, took a bow and resumed her traditional seat next to one very humiliated Tessa.
"There," she said triumphantly when the normal chatter had risen to an acceptable decibel level once more. "My love knows no bounds."
