It has been replaying in Olivia's mind like a loop she never wants to hear again. The screams, the pleading, the ambulances, the sirens...most of all, the look. The look of Fitz lying on the floor in front of her feet. Fitz was rushed to the happened so fast, Liv is still not sure what happened. Liv, May, and Corinne are in the hospital waiting room, waiting for news on Fitz. The other girls are talking to the police. Gerry is just sitting in the chair not far from Liv and Corinne staring off. Liv has the presence of mind to go sit next to him. Maya is comforting Corinne.

"Hey buddy, are you okay?" Liv asks.

"Is Dad going to die?" Gerry says.

"No honey, your dad is not going to die. He's very strong and he's a fighter. He jumped in front of all of us. He's our hero," Liv says, getting emotional as she says the words.

"Yeah, he is a hero," Gerry says.

"So, we have to be strong for him. That's what he would want us to do, okay."

"Okay," Gerry answers.

"That's it kiddo," Liv smiles as she pulls him close.

Mellie comes in, like a bat out of hell, making a commotion. She's talking to the nurse, "They said my husband...ex-husband was brought here."

Corinne gets up, "Mellie we are over here."

Mellie rushes over, she sees Gerry being comforted by Olivia. "Gerry," she says, hoping he will run to her but he doesn't. "What happened?"

Corinne decides to address her, "We were at this restaurant having brunch and someone came in with a gun and fired a few shots. We didn't see anything but Fitz reacting and the shots."

"Is he dead?" Mellie asks.

Maya decides to answer, "Would we be here if he was dead?" Mellie turns to her, rolling her eyes. Maya could see the questions on her face. So she answers, "I'm Olivia's mother."

Mellie let out the breath she was holding, "Nice to meet you," she says. "Well what's wrong with him?"

Liv gets up. Gerry is still avoiding his mother, "We don't know yet. From what we could tell he was shot in the stomach, we think."

Mellie catches her chest, "That's serious."

"Yes it might be," Liv answers.

Corinne asks Mellie, "Where is Karen?"

"She's still at her friend's house. I asked if they could keep her," Mellie answers. Mellie goes over to Gerry to talk to him. He's keeping himself glued to his phone.

Maya is now sitting at Liv's side. "You okay baby," Maya asks Liv.

Liv looks at her. She's been fighting tears. "No, I'm not. Everything just happened so fast," she looks down at her clothes. There is blood all over it. "I am trying to look like a picture of positivity for Gerry and for Corinne but I'm scared to death. "There was so much blood. I just don't understand why anyone would do this. And I am so mad at Fitz putting himself in the way like that."

"It's okay to be scared. It's okay to cry. It's okay to show that. We are all worried about him." Maya says.

Maya wipes her daughter's tears, "He sure wasn't going to let anything happen to his son and you. He loves you and he loves him with all his heart. He thought with his heart, not his head."

"But I could strangle him for it," Liv tries to laugh.

"We will scold him about reckless behavior later. Let's just be glad for that guy who rushed in when he did. Whoever he was, was a hero," Maya notes.

"Yes, I guess he's the hero, although they said he is hurt too, whoever he was," Liv says.

Maya looks over at Mellie, "I hope that leech knows her place," she continues nodding at Mellie who's trying to talk to uninterested Gerry.

"Mom, you know why I called her," Liv says.

"I know. I just don't like her," Maya says bluntly.

"Neither do I," Corinne says as she sits down on Olivia's other side. It's not lost on Mellie the support Liv has of Corinne. "I know she needed to be here but I swear I want to scratch that woman's eyes out whenever I see her."

Liv and Maya both laugh. "I am too anxious," Liv says. "I am going to go see if I can find a nurse to give me some answers." Liv says as she gets up to find a nurse.

Maya and Corinne watch her walk away. "My baby is scared to death. She has always had a way of being stoic when she doesn't want to fall apart. I don't think I've seen her like this before."

"My son is strong and he loves her and his children so much. He's going to fight like hell for them," Corinne says.

"Well you know Corinne, you don't have to be strong for any of us here. If you want to cry you can cry. I am a mother and I know how I would feel if it was Olivia or Harrison in there," Maya says.

Corinne smiles, "I am going to love sharing grandbabies with you. I see where Olivia got her heart from," Corinne says as she pats Maya's hand.

Gerry has his back turned to Mellie. Mellie shakes her head. "Gerry I know you are mad at me but I want to know if you are okay. I know today must have been scary." Gerry still doesn't respond to her. "Gerry would you please look at me."

"Why?" Gerry says.

'Because I want to know if you are okay. I was scared to death when Olivia called me," Mellie says sadly.

"Well, I am fine mom. Dad's the one that's not okay," Gerry stresses as he turns around, rolling his eyes.

"Fitz is a very strong man. He's going to be okay," Mellie says.

"Dad could die because of me mom," Gerry says, rushing out of the room.

"Gerry, would you wait?" Mellie says, starting to rush out after him.

Corinne stops her, "Let him go. I'll go and talk to him."

Mellie doesn't put up a fight with Corinne. She lets her go find him. Mellie shakes her head. She turns to Maya, "What does he mean his dad could die because of him?"

"Fitz threw his body in front of Gerry and Olivia. It must have been instinct but that's what he did," Maya explains.

"Who would want to hurt my son?" Mellie says.

"I don't think anyone was trying to hurt your son. I just think we were in the wrong place at the wrong time. But one thing I am sure off, your ex-husband, who you lied to, protected his son. The son you lied about. That's a good man in there on an operating table. I am glad you had the cluelessness to let him go and my daughter was able to find him," Maya says as she walks away. Mellie rolls her eyes as she turns away embarrassed.

Corinne finds Gerry by the vending machines. "Hey sweetheart. You got enough money there."

"I hate her Grandma," Gerry says.

"You don't hate your mother Gerry. You are just angry with her," Corinne tries to say.

"I hate her," Gerry says.

"Okay….but you'll have to forgive her. You can't ignore her for the rest of your life. I suppose you could but in the end it will hurt you so much more."

"You hate her Grandma," Gerry says which makes Corinne laugh.

"I don't hate your mother. I hate what she did. I hate how she hurt you and your dad but I don't hate her. I just don't want you and your dad to be hurt any more than you already are," Corinne explains.

"What if dad dies and I can't apologize to him?" Gerry asks.

"Your dad is not going to die," Corinne says. Her heart is beating so fast. She's scared but she's trying to be strong. "You will be able to apologize to him."

"I have to tell him I'm sorry for how I've been acting. I just didn't know what to do. I have two dads and it's weird. But he's my dad," Gerry says.

"Yes he is and he always will be. Just like you will always be my grandson that got into the bathroom, stood on the toilet and stole the bar of soap and started eating it," Corinne laughs.

"I did that," Gerry asks confused.

"You sure did. We were looking for you and you were washing your own mouth out with soap," she laughs again.

"That's gross," Gerry says.

"Pretty gross but it is one of those memories that I will never forget. We ran and grabbed a camera to catch it. Your little frown. The way you held your mouth to cry. The experience was your punishment enough."

"What did mom and dad think?" Gerry asks.

"They thought it was hilarious. You took a chunk out of that soap. Your grandfather was so proud of you. He said that was a true mark of a boy."

Gerry is deep in his thoughts and searching for his next words. "Olivia said it is okay for me to be mad at mom."

"She's right. It is okay and you can be angry until you figure this all out for yourself," she explains. She gets up and reaches for his hand. "But for now, let's focus on your dad, okay."

"Okay," he says as she goes back to the waiting area.

Liv is now with Abby and Sonja who've made it, and brought her a change of clothes. Maya is standing there with them. Big Gerry has made it. Mellie is feeling left out of the equation. Corinne goes over to the Big Gerry, he hugs her.

"I just wish they would tell us something. I couldn't find a nurse to tell me anything," Liv says.

"What's that saying?" Maya says. "No news is good news."

"Yes, but I feel like I am going to lose my mind if someone doesn't tell me something. I can't lose him," Liv says as she takes a breath. "I can't lose him, almost the same way I lost Stephen. I love Fitz so much and…"

Sonja squares Liv's shoulders, "Fate was cruel when it took my brother. But that's not Fitz's fate. You are going to marry him and have babies and have a wonderful life."

"Sonja is right," Abby adds in. "He is madly in love with you and he's going to fight for all those things, the future."

Mellie is listening to all of this. She's learning something she never wanted to believe. She can hear Maya's words ringing in her ear.

The nurse comes out, Liv turns to see her. "There's the nurse," she says as everyone rushes over.

Big Gerry speaks up, "Do you have news on my son?" He asks. His voice is commanding the room.

"Yes, he is out of surgery. He is going to be okay. They removed the bullet, intact. The bullet grazed his appendix when it made contact. They had to remove it and repair that area. The bullet did not exit so that was a bit of a problem but he's okay."

Everyone lets out a breath that they didn't know they were holding. Liv catches her forehead. "Can I see him? I need to see him," Liv asks.

"They are finishing the close. Then we will get him to a room. As soon as it is possible you can see him," the nurse answers.

Liv looks at Big Gerry and Corinne, "I am sorry. I know you want to see him first. You should go first."

"No way. The last thing my son wants to see when he opens his eyes is his old parents. He is going to want to see you, believe me," Big Gerry answers.

"He can only have so many visitors at a time," The nurse adds in. "I will come back and let you know when you can see him." The nurse turns and leaves.

"You see that, he's going to be okay," Maya answers.

Mellie walks over to them. "I am going to go so I can talk to Karen. Let her know that her daddy is okay. You know," she fumbles.

"You can stay if you want," Liv suggests, much to everyone's surprise.

"No, I should go. I am really glad that Fitz is going to be okay. I really am," Mellie says. "Will you call me if anything changes?"

"Of course we will," Liv answers.

"Thank you," Mellie says as she starts to leave. She cautiously walks over to Gerry. "Would you like to come home with me? There's not much you are going to be able to do here. I am sure your dad…..your dad will be sleeping."

"Can I come back tomorrow?" He asks.

"Yes, I'll bring you. I'll bring you and your sister," she answers.

Without a word, he walks over to Olivia. "My mom's gonna bring me back tomorrow."

Liv gives him a hug, "Your dad will be fine and real good of you to go with your mom. Remember what I said."

"I will," he says. He goes over and gives his grandparents a hug.

"Remember what Grandma said," Corinne says to him.

"I will," he says with a laugh.

Big Gerry hands him some money, "Don't tell them I gave it to you."

"I'm standing here," Corinne chuckles.

"Be nice to your mom tonight. Do it for your dad," Big Gerry says.

"Okay," Gerry agrees as he walks out with Mellie.

Abby looks around at everyone's faces. "How about I go and round us up all some food? We didn't get to have brunch and I am sure everyone is hungry."

"That's a good idea," Corinne says.

"I don't think I am hungry," Liv says.

"You have to eat and you are going to eat," Maya says.

"You have to eat Olivia," Sonja says.

"Yes you do," Corinne answers.

Liv wants to argue her point again, Maya stops her. "You have to eat."

Big Gerry pulls in his wallet, "Here," he says, passing his credit card to Abby. "Get whatever you want."

"I love this family," Abby says cutely as her and Sonja walk out.

Liv has walked over to the window. She's looking out with a sad look in her eyes. "The doctor said he is alright," Maya says.

"I know," Liv says, never turning to face her.

"So you don't need to stress yourself," Maya whispers.

"That's not gonna happen," Liv says.

"It could have been a lot worse and thank God it wasn't," Maya says.

"You don't understand," Liv says, shaking her head. She turns to face Maya, "You don't understand. Stephen and Fitz. I could have been sitting here with another dead fiance. Only Fitz did get to propose. Is this some kind of sick joke."

"The key word is could. You could have been but you aren't. You'll see him soon and everything will be okay."

"What if everything wouldn't have been okay? What if…?"

"Livvie, today was scary. It could have been so much worse. And I am shaking inside too. We are all spooked but…" Before Maya can finish, the nurse comes in.

"Ms. Pope, you can see Mr. Grant now," She says.

Liv hurries to her. She turns back to Maya and Corinne. "I'm sorry."

"Go ahead," Corinne says. "Give him our love and we will see him soon." Liv nods in agreement as she runs in with the nurse.

For Liv it seems like the longest walk down the hallway to Fitz's room. Her heart seems to be faster and faster the closer she gets. The nurse gets to the door and stops to let Liv in. Liv stops. She takes a few deep breaths.

"Are you okay Ms. Pope? Do you need a doctor?"

"No...No..I am okay," Liv answers as she slowly goes. Fitz looks as if he's just sleeping. Wires are all over but seeing his chest rise up and down is the best sight she'll ever see.

"It's okay, he won't bite," the nurse laughs.

"Thank you so much," Liv smiles as she goes in and the nurse closes the door. Liv slowly walks over to his bed as if he's a porcelain figurine. She's afraid he will break. Liv brings her hand to the top of his foot. She moves it slowly up his leg. She moves her fingers over his arm, slowly sitting on the chair next to his bed. Her hand shakes involuntarily. She brings her fingers up to her mouth, kissing it gently and then presses it to his lips. The warmth of his lips on her hand is a comfort to her.

She takes note of his blood pressure and pulse on the machine. She fixes his hair. She just stares at him and then stares at the window. Her hand planted on his chest. Her thoughts are running marathons around her head.

"I guess you like what you see," Fitz mumbles.

Liv jumps, looking down at him, "Fitz," she sighs.

"Is that still my name?" He jokes.

"Fitz, that's not funny. That's not funny at all," Liv says seriously as he slowly opens his eyes to her.

"There you are beautiful," he says. She shakes her head at him, she looks away. She doesn't want him to see her tears. "Livvie," he whispers.

"You could have died," she says, still turned away.

"But I didn't," he answers. "Look at me," he asks.

"No, I don't want to look at you," she answers.

"I just jumped in front of a bullet for you and my son, which I assume is okay by the way and you won't even look at me."

Liv turns around, "Gerry is fine. He's shaken up but fine. That's exactly it you ass," Liv says. "You jumped in front of a bullet. What if it had been worse? What if you had died? What if we had lost you? What if I lost you?" The tears are now streaming down her face.

"Hey, hey...come closer," he says softly. Liv shakes her head no. "I know I shouldn't have but it was my gut instinct. I just felt like I had to protect you two. I don't know. So I did."

"But what if you had died?" Liv says. The tears she's so desperately trying to hold in are falling.

"I would have died if something happened to one of you and I couldn't save you. It would have killed me," Fitz answers.

"You aren't bullet proof," Liv says.

Fitz reaches for Liv's hand. He looks at her with those beautiful blue eyes that melts her heart. She finally takes it. He motions for her to lay beside him. "Come on."

"Fitz, this is a hospital and you just came out of surgery, I don't care how minor it was. I am not getting in bed with you."

"If we do it now, we'll get 20 minutes in before they pull you away," Fitz says.

"Fitz," she says softly.

"Come on," she smiles while moving to get close to him. "I don't want to hurt you."

"You are going to heal me," he smiles as he kisses the top of her head. "Listen, I know I'm not bulletproof. I just wanted to protect you and Gerry. I acted first before thinking."

"You scared me to death," she says.

"I'm sorry," he says.

"You should be. Don't you ever do that again? Do you hear me Fitzgerald Thomas Grant?" She says sternly.

"Are you talking to my father or me?" he chuckles.

"Stop it," she says, tapping him gently.

"I hear you. I hear you loud and clear. Don't ever do that again."

"How bad does it hurt?" She asks, kissing his cheek.

"I would be lying if I said it didn't hurt like hell because it does. You don't have to worry about me. I'll be fine. I just want to catch that son a bitch that did this."

"Someone rushed him. I was so focused on you that I don't know what happened or why. I am sure I'll have to talk to the cops," Liv says.

"Is Gerry really okay?" Fitz asks.

"Yes, Gerry is really okay. Like I said, he's shaken up but he's okay. He was so scared for you. Your parents are out there. Mellie came and took Gerry home," she says.

"Your mom, my mom and the girls, everyone okay."

"Shaken up but okay," Liv says.

"This is why I played hero," he says as he softly takes a whiff of her hair and her scent.

"Why?" She asks.

"So I can have these days. So I can feel you in my arms. So I can kiss you every night and every morning. So I can make love to you and with you. So I can hold just like this. I love you so much." Fitz says.

Liv's tears begin to fall. He can feel hit his chest. "I love you so much. I don't think I realized how much until I was holding you and begging you to be okay and watching your blood soak my hands. I love you and I just do," she admits.

"Well good because I would have hated to risk my life for someone that didn't love me," he jokes.

"Why are you making jokes when this is not a laughing matter?"

"Because I know how upset you are and I want you to realize everything is okay. The scary part is over and we are okay. I am okay. I am here. I am alive and I'm not going anywhere," he reaches for her chin, lifting it up to kiss her softly.

"I want to marry you," she blurts out.

Fitz is stroking her arm. "I know you do. You said yes remember."

"You don't understand I want to marry you," she says again.

"I know you do. We set a date. That's why we were celebrating brunch," he says.

"I don't want to wait. I want to marry you as soon as possible," she says lifting off of his chest to face him.

"What?" Fitz says surprised.

"If I learned anything today, not that I didn't already know, life is short. I don't care about pomp and circumstance. I just want to be your wife. A gun almost took love away from me again. I'll be damned if I waste time again. Time doesn't wait for you to catch up with it." Fitz is just all smiles listening to the declaration. "So all you are going to do is smile?"

"I would have married you the same day our divorces were final if we could have. I want to marry you as soon as possible too." They both smile at each other. "So, you want to have a bedside wedding. I mean I didn't quite envision that but if that's what you want."

"No, I don't want you in hospital gear. Although the view of your ass being out if we went that route is a plus," she giggles.

"I do have a nice ass, if I do say so myself."

"Yes you do," Liv winks.

"I am going to make an honest woman out of you. So I guess now we have to plan don't we?"

"Yes we do. Our mothers are going to be so happy. I bet they'll get the gears grinding and make it happen."

"I had to get shot for you to give in," Fitz says.

"Fitz," Liv squints at him.

The door opens and the nurse stretches her eyes at the visual. "Mr. Grant," the nurse says.

Liv starts getting up, embarrassed, "I was just checking on him."

"Really," the nurse smiles.

"She gave me my medicine," Fitz jokes.

"I am sure she did," the nurse rolls her eyes playfully. "Now I am going to check your vitals and give you your real medicine."

"I am going to go and update your parents. They want to see you," Livvie says.

"Can I have a kiss before you go?" Fitz asks.

Liv moves in closer to his bed. She plants a kiss on him. "You behave yourself."

"I'll try," he smiles, giving her a kiss back.

Liv walks out and closes the door.

We see Nancy sitting outside of the hospital. She has been crying and she looks devastated. The anger on her face is almost palpable. Abby and Sonja don't even see her sitting there when they come back. They are making their way back with the food. She is about to acknowledge them when she hears a part of their conversation.

"I just don't know what Liv would have done if something worse had happened to Fitz. I don't think she could have survived it. At least he's going to be okay." Abby says.

"I don't think so either. I know she fought this relationship because of how sticky it was but she fell for him hard," Sonja says.

"Definitely! I just want her to be happy, finally," Abby stresses.

"No kidding! With Jake and Mellie out of the way, she can finally get there. Especially Jake. For a minute I swore I saw him in the restaurant," Sonja notes.

"Me too but it was such chaos," Abby says brushing it off as they walk into the sliding doors that have opened.

"It's all her fault," Nancy says out loud. Her tear streamed face is very noticeable.

A nurse stops in front of her, "Ma'am are you okay?"

Nancy looks up at her with a determined look on her face, "I will be," she answers and gets up going back into the hospital.

Liv finds her mom, she's been on the phone with Eli and Harrison, updating them on Fitz's condition. She lets them know that she's going to be okay and Liv is going to be okay once she calms down.

"Yes, I will tell your baby that you love her," Maya says seeing Liv.

"Is that daddy?" she asks.

"Eli, she's right here," she says as she hands Olivia the phone.

"Daddy," She says. It looks like the world has been lifted off of her shoulders.

"Hey baby girl! I am glad that Fitz is going to be okay," he says.

"Me too! I can breathe again," Liv says.

"Would you give him my best and tell him thank you for protecting my baby?"

"I will daddy. I love you," she says.

"I love you too and take care of your mother," he instructs her.

She looks at Maya, "I will."

They hang up and Liv looks at Maya. Maya can see that Liv's eyes have the spark back in it. "Fitz is okay," she says.

"Yes he is. And I told him don't ever do anything that stupid again," Liv says.

"And I bet he said he would do it all over again."

"Of course he is. He's an idiot," Liv says exasperated.

"A fool in love maybe," Maya resolves.

Liv takes a seat, Maya follows. "We want to get married."

"I know you do. That's why I came so we could light a fire under your little asses," Maya laughs.

"Mom," she says.

"Okay! I know it scared you to death, all of this. But we are going to help you plan the most beautiful wedding," she says.

"I know but we want to get married sooner rather than later," Liv clarifies.

"What do you mean?" Maya asks.

"We don't want to until the date we settled on. We want to do it as soon as we can. I mean not while he's in a hospital bed but…"

Maya is a little shocked, "What?"

"I know. I'm sorry. I know you and Corinne want to help to plan it all but…"

"We want you two to be happy. So, if you want to get married sooner rather than later, then we plan quickly."

Liv looks a little surprised, "You don't think I'm rushing it. That I'm just reacting to what happened."

"Of course I think you are reacting to what happened. You are the professional," Maya answers honestly with a laugh. Liv drops her head. "But...I also think you love him very much. I think he's your soulmate and you didn't realize that until you almost lost him or thought you were losing him."

"I want to spend the rest of my life with him. That I am sure of," Liv says.

"Then you two figure out a new date so Corinne and I can get moving," Maya says.

"Okay!" Liv smiles.

She and Maya get up to go back into the waiting area, "One thing, your father is going to pout for the rest of his life."

"Why? It's not like I haven't been married before." Liv reminds her.

"Yes that is true but he knew Jake wasn't the one. He knows Fitz is," Maya explains it.

They turn to start toward the waiting area when they are met by Abby and Sonja. "Perfect," Abby says. "We've got good grub. Have you seen Fitz yet?"

"I have and phew, he looks good considering. He's joking about being Superman so.."

"Well let's get some food in your tummy," Abby says.

"You guys go ahead. I want to wait for his parents to eat with them. I have some news, if Fitz hasn't already told them," she says.

"Told them what?" Sonja says confused.

Liv looks over at Maya and then back at them, "We want to get married like in a few weeks."

"Are you kidding me?" Abby says.

"No I am serious," Liv laughs.

Sonja rolls her eyes at Abby and looks at Liv, "I think it's a wonderful idea."

"I do too, I just know it's Chicago and Summertime. We are going to get right on it," Abby says.

"Then we will," Maya says as they go in.

Corinne and Big Gerry are stationed on both sides of Fitz. Corinne is holding his hand so tightly. Fitz is grimacing.

"Mom, I'm okay. You have a death grip on me."

Corinne looks down at his hand and laughs. She reaches down and gives him a kiss on the forehead. "I am sorry. I am just so happy that you are okay."

"Me too," Fitz says.

"Son, I told you to make the Grant name proud. I didn't say act like a stunt man," Big Gerry says.

Fitz laughs, "You sound like Olivia."

"Olivia is right," Big Gerry says.

"I know I scared her. I didn't mean to," Fitz says.

"She understands. She just loves you and it was scary," Corinne says. "I am still shaky but I understand what she is feeling. My son was lying there bleeding and it scared me to death. I would have lost my mind if you had.."

"I'm right here mom and I am okay. A little banged up but okay," Fitz says.

"The nurse said the bullet was intact so that was good," Big Gerry says.

"It's these rock hard abs I've been working on."

Corinne slaps his arm, "Fitzgerald."

"I've gotten my contacts in the precinct finding out as much as they can about what the hell happened and why," Gerry says.

"It was probably a disgruntled ex-employee with an ax to grind. I am just glad he didn't do any more damage."

"Well, I am going to get down to the bottom of it," Gerry says.

"Dad just let the police do their jobs," Fitz stresses.

"Gerry, just leave it alone. Our son is okay and he's going to be okay. That's all we care about," Corinne says.

"I am going to let the police do their jobs and I am going to do mine."

Corinne and Fitz look at each other, knowing that is the last word on that subject. He decides to break he and Olivia's new news. "Liv and I decided to move up the wedding date."

Corine looks at him. Her eyes light up, "What do you mean?"

"We want that Summer wedding, like in a few weeks."

"Congrats son," Big Gerry says.

Corinne grabs him, almost forgetting his stitches, "I am so excited."

"Ouch," Fitz says.

"Oh," Corinne says, letting him go from her tight grip. "This is the best news. Going to be tough to book some stuff but we will figure it out."

"I trust you and Mrs. Pope to help us. You ladies are very resourceful."

Big Gerry chuckles, "Especially with a Black Card to swipe wherever they want."

"Don't start with Gerry Grant. My son is finally marrying the right woman and it's going to be perfect."

The nurse comes in. "Hello! I see we have a full house."

"Kind of," Fitz smiles.

"Well, I hate to break up the fun. I need to clean your incisions and you need to get some sleep. That's from the doctor, not me," she explains.

"Can my Livvie come back to play with me?" He winks. His parents just laugh.

"After you have taken a nap. You can have playtime," the nurse entertains.

"Okay, well we are going to go. I have to talk to Maya. We have a wedding to plan," Corinne says kissing her son.

"We will be back tomorrow son," Big Gerry says as they both leave.

Nancy is given a package by one of the nurses. She seems to be shell shocked. She walks dazed down the hall clinging to this package. She decides she needs to get some coffee or something. She walks in to see Liv and everyone, now sitting in the cafeteria eating. Everyone is laughing and talking.

Nancy walks up to the table, startling everyone. Liv looks at her, "Nancy what are you doing here? Is everything okay?"

"You heartless bitch. You killed him," she croaks out.

"Nancy," Maya says.

"What are you talking about?" Liv says.

"All because of you my son is dead," Nancy finishes.

Everyone takes a minute to let those words sink in. "Jake is dead," Liv says.

"Yes and you killed him. It's all your fault," she yells.

Liv sits in her chair rocked to the core and shocked.

How did Jake die and why is it Liv's fault?
