It's been a month since the incident. Fitz has been recovering nicely. The shockwaves of what happened in the restaurant has been rippling through everyone, especially Olivia. Fitz hasn't been cleared for physical activity yet. Liv has been his nurse when Corinne can't and they have a part time nurse. Fitz has been milking the attention for what it's worth. Their mothers have been around frequently, helping to plan the wedding and Liv is the only one being calm about it.

Fitz is lying on his back. His face is in pure euphoria. "Mmmm, baby! Just like….damn...just like that. More...more."

Liv's moans can be heard from under the covers. She's pleasuring him. He's at her mercy and she knows it. She sucks him soft, as if in slow motion. She laps her tongue around his tip in a circular motion. She licks up and down his length, with a tight grip on him. He's grabbing the sheets and pulling at her hair. "Mmmmmm," Liv moans.

"I don't know how long I can….," Fitz starts. His face is beet red. He's trying not to explode but it's so good.

The moment he utters those words, she goes for the kill, swallowing him further into her mouth. She grazes her teeth on the ridges of his skin. Fitz can only see the motions of her head bobbing up and down on him. Her mouth is warm and wet and filled with him. It just turns him on even more.

"Shit...Liv," he yells as he explodes. She takes in all of him as she starts to slowly crawl up his body, kissing his perfect abs. Each one at a time.

She appears from under the cover, kissing his neck, sucking his skin softly. "Good Morning!"

Through his swallowed breath, he utters, "Good morning!"

"How do you feel now?" She whispers as she kisses his jawline slowly moving to his lips.

Fitz closes his eyes, smiling. "I feel like the luckiest man in the world."

"Yeah, why is that?" Liv laughs.

"The most beautiful woman in the world, with the sexiest pair of lips in the world loves me. She loves to make me scream her name and take advantage of me," Fitz blushes.

"You said more...I gave you more," Liv smiles, tracing his lips.

"I was thinking," he sighs. "Maybe I should get shot more often. It's bought out the lioness in you," he starts. She aptly slaps his chest, "Ouch..that hurts."

"Don't you ever joke like that again," she says. She lifts off of his chest to look him square in the eyes. "You scared me to death."

"It was just joking," he chuckles.

"I could have lost you that day," Liv answers.

Fitz stretches and kisses her head, "But you didn't."

"The whole time you were in surgery, I just kept thinking of all the what ifs. What if you die? What if you can't walk? What if you are totally incapacitated? Every scary thing ran through my mind while trying to convince your son that you were going to be okay when I was scared to death inside," she unloads.

"We have a whole life to spend together. I wasn't going to let a bullet keep that from us. I was going to fight like hell to make it back to you."

She drops her head, "And then I just told my mom, I couldn't lose you the same way I lost...you know."

He kisses her head again, "I know."

"That's why I don't want to wait to marry you. Life is too short. He was on his way that night to propose to me and he never got the chance. I found my soulmate, my second chance...and I don't want to waste any more time," Liv smiles.

"I told you, I would have married you in the hospital. Life brought us together in a weird way, I know. But, it was written in stars. I was gonna find you. You were gonna find me. We were meant Olivia Pope," he winks.

"I just can't believe this all happened. I can't believe Jake did what he did. I can't believe he just wouldn't let go. He just wouldn't let me go and look at what happened."

Fitz slowly lifts himself up on the bed. Liv helps, grabbing a hold to his arm. "I can't say I didn't understand where he was coming from."

"What?" Liv says surprised.

"If life tore us apart. If for some reason you and I couldn't be us again and we went our separate ways. I would never get over you. When you aren't with me, I obsess about you. I wonder where you are. I wonder what you are doing. I wonder if you are smiling. I wonder if you are happy, most importantly, if I make you happy. I wonder if you obsess about me as much as I obsess about you," he admits.

She runs her hands across his scars, "I obsess about you. I obsess about us. I obsess about our wedding and our life. I obsess about making you happy."

He stops her by kissing her lips softly. "You make me more than happy. Don't you ever doubt that."

"Even when I lose my looks and my sexiness or when I'm pregnant and waddling and you have no attraction to me whatsoever," she announces.

"Oh...when you are pregnant? Are we talking about kids now?" Liv looks away as if she is ashamed. "I thought you weren't sure."

"I'm not sure but building our own family, I think I want that. I think I want to experience that with you. I know I didn't want that with Jake. I never had those feelings but sometimes when I look at you, I see nothing but our babies or what could be our babies. It's a new feeling but it's a feeling," she explains.

"Well, I am glad. I certainly see that when I look at you. I see our family. I see our good life."

"Not that I don't love your children because I do but…"

"But having our own. I get it."

"One big event at a time Mr. Grant. We have a wedding to plan before we start painting nurseries," Liv says.

"One big event at a time," Fitz smiles. Liv is deep in thought. She doesn't hear Fitz call her name. Fitz strokes her face, "Livvie," he whispers.

Liv comes out of her thoughts, "I'm sorry. What did you say?"

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, it just occurred to me," Liv starts.

"What did?"

"The irony of the day you got shot."

Fitz looks at her, a little bewildered. "What is it?"

"A chapter of my life closed that day and another one opened. Jake died and I hate myself for not being more devastated about it. Instead, I felt relieved."

Fitz pulls her face to his "Don't ever hate yourself for being honest about your feelings."

"I don't know, I just feel heartless," she grabs his hand, holding it. "I just realized what I wanted out of life. The things that really make me happy and that I succeeded in my career and I want to succeed in love and in family."

"Listen, as long as I'm with you, I'm happy. I don't want you to feel like our marriage will only be a success if you give me children. I fell in love with you. As long as I have you, that's all I need."

"You always know the perfect thing to say, because you know it will get me into bed," she laughs.

Fitz looks around the room and then down at her beautiful naked body, "From the looks of it, I already got you in bed. The battle is half won." He dips his head down to kiss her.

Liv gives in, she is lost in his lips as he holds her tight. She stops, "No sir, I have to go to work. Your mom will be here. I have to go to work for a few hours. Then Abby and Sonja have to go to one more fitting for our dresses."

"I can't wait to see you in that dress and then I can't wait to rip it off you," he smiles as he pulls her in closer, grabbing her ass.

Liv lets her finger travel in a straight line up his torso, chest and to his lips. "This dress is being made just for you."

"Right now, I would like to say good morning to you," he says seductively. His eyes are filled with lust.

"You already said good morning," Liv giggles.

"Trust me, I haven't and I can't let you say good morning better than me," he says, reaching in between her legs, causing her to gasp at his touch.

Liv hurriedly grabs his wrist, his index finger already massaging her moist lips. He easily dips his finger inside of her. "The doctor said you can't. You can't forget.."

"Shhhh," he whispers. "Just let my fingers do all the work," he whispers as he slides another finger inside of her.

She arches off of the bed, "Fitz…" She's still trying to keep him at bay most unconvincingly. She weakly tries to take his hand away.

"Let me in," his baritone voice vibrates in her ear.

She's moving her body from side to side. "We don't have time," she stutters as his fingers slowly move in and out of her.

He begins to suck on her ear softly, "Livvie," he sings in her ear.

She drops her legs open wide as she bites her lip, "Ugh….oh…"

"I love you," he whispers in her ear as he fucks her with his fingers, softly and perfectly.

She grabs a hold to his shoulder blade. She's careful to not hurt him as she moans into his mouth as they kiss. "I….God...I love..you," she says faintly as her walls close in on his fingers. He knows she's close.

He moves his fingers faster. He wants her to get what she needs and he wants to give it to her. She's wet and hot as his fingers slide in out the slippery walls. "I love you," he repeats again knowing it will push her to the brink.

He hits the right spot as she screams out in a wailing cry as he rolls his fingers in her through her orgasm. She drops her head to his shoulder. Her body trembled. Her insides are tingling. His fingers are coated in her essence. She's panting, trying to catch her breath, stunned when he sucks his fingers clean, enjoying her sweet taste as he grins proudly. "I can't believe you," she says bashfully.

"Good morning," he winks.

"How about we go take a nice hot shower and make sure every part of us is clean?" Liv suggests as she gets out of bed, knowing how the sight of her naked gets every part of him jumping.

He slowly puts both feet on the floor, "If I catch you, I get to do what I want."

"You won't catch me old man..," she chuckles as she goes into the bathroom. He's slow of course but he goes and joins her. They spend the morning enjoying each other's company and their love.

Liv is sitting in her office, waiting on her next appointment. She's on the phone with her mother. They've been talking nonstop about getting everything ready for the wedding. Liv has been driving herself crazy trying to put everything into place.

"Yes! I am absolutely sure this is what Fitz wants. He doesn't want a groom's cake."

"Livvie, every man says they don't want anything but he's just going along with everything you want," Maya says.

"Trust me, he doesn't want one," Liv repeats.

"And why is that?" Maya asks.

"Because he said I am all the chocolate cake he needs," Liv says bashfully.

Maya is quiet for a moment which tickles Liv. It's always hard for her to be without words. "This is why I like him. He's not afraid to speak his mind."

"You mean you aren't going to TMI me."

"No way, you are a grown woman who I know is doing very grown things. I can't tell you anything about sex and I'm not going to try."

"Now I feel like I need to be in confessional with you," Liv laughs.

"I just have one piece of advice. Never be afraid to be the initiator. Never be afraid to be aggressive. They need to know they don't own the sheets, you got that."

Liv's mouth is hanging open. Her mother has never been that candid with her before about anything, especially sex. "Mom!"

"I am just saying. Rock his world and let him rock yours. But never let him forget, the magic of the universe is in between your thighs not his," Maya finishes.

April knocks on her door, letting her know her 1pm is there. Liv slaps her palms, "I have to go Dr. Ruth but I think we are set with all the arrangements. This is my last appointment of the day, I have to go."

"Okay, give Fitz my love and I'll see you soon," Maya says.

"Okay, love you mom," Liv says as they hang up.

Liv gets up from her chair, fixing her outfit. She checks her teeth in the mirror. She retouches her makeup and goes for the door. She opens the door to find Richard and his wife sitting there. Liv is startled. "Hello!" she says.

Richard's wife stands first. Richard stands after her. They both share a jittered look with each other. "Ms. Pope, I'm Catherine Alexander and this is my husband Richard Alexander," she announces.

"It is very nice to meet you both. Let's go into my office," Olivia answers, glancing over to Richard. She opens the door to usher them in. Liv turns and looks at April, she says in a very hushed tone, "I'll explain later."

"Oh boy," April laughs as Olivia closes the door.

Liv has them take a seat. She sits in her usual chair. "I'm sorry, I should have offered you both something to drink. Would you like some water or something?"

Catering looks over at Richard, "I'm fine."

"I'm fine," Richard answers. The first words he's managed to utter since realizing who they were meeting.

"Well," Liv starts very slowly. "Why are you here today?" Catherine and Richard look at each other, both a little apprehensive about speaking. Olivia thinks she knows the answer but she decides to break the ice. "Usually, I ask my couples when we first meet about their goals."

"Goals," Catherine repeats.

"I want to know what their goal is for coming to see me. Do they want to save their marriage? Do they want to end their marriage? Or, make it better? What is your goal?"

Catherine contemplates Olivia's words. She can see that Richard is doing the exact same thing. Much to Olivia's surprise, Richard speaks first, "We want to save our marriage?"

Olivia can't help but have a surprised look which she hopes Catherine doesn't take note of. Richard can see her surprise. Catherine backs him up, "Yes, we want to save our marriage because there is something to save."

"Why does your marriage need saving?" Olivia asks.

Richard lets out a breath, "I cheated."

Liv tried to act surprised. "Okay...and you told your wife."

"Yes I did," Richard answers. He decides to walk along this path with her, acting like they don't know each other.

"Is there anything else?" Liv asks. She wants to see just how productive these sessions are going to be. Has Richard told his wife the whole truth and nothing but. Catherine even looks surprised at her line questioning.

Richard knows he can't half ass this session or Liv is going to drop them and Catherine is going to wonder why. "I fathered a child with another woman."

Liv sits back in her chair. She looks at Richard and then Catherine. Catherine adds in, "So now you know why we are here Ms. Pope."

"And you want to save your marriage, in spite of," Olivia says.

"Yes I do…," she looks at Richard and grabs his hand. Olivia takes note of their reactions to each other. Richard grabs her hand and holds it tight.

"I want to too," Richard says.

"Is there anything else I should know about?" Olivia asks.

"Why do you keep asking that question?" Catherine asks.

There is silence. Liv puts her pad down. "If I am going to help you two work through your marriage and save your marriage, there has to be full transparency. I need to know what I will be working with."

Richard tries to diffuse this situation. "She understands. This is just all so, you know, for us."

Liv can't help but look at this man and feel nothing but disdain toward him. He is the reason the man she loves has been in so much pain lately, before the accident. This is the man that helped turn his life upside down. "These sessions are going to be painful. They are going to be revealing and emotional. Everything that went wrong in your marriage that got you to this point is going to be evaluated. Everything good about your marriage is going to be evaluated. I'm not going to push you to tell me everything. It's up to you how successful you want these sessions to be."

"I think we are ready for that," Catherine answers.

Liv notices the hesitation in Richard's face. There's a subtle crinkle in his brow. "Are you ready for that Mr. Alexander?"

"I have to be," He answers.

Liv picks her pad up again, "Then let's truly get started." They sit and go through their session. Liv is more than surprised by the candor. The one thing that surprises her the most is what she sees in the two of them. She sees that they love each other. More importantly, he loves her. She can't help but wonder where that leaves Mellie. If anywhere at all.

Fitz is sitting on the couch when he can hear Mellie outside. She's trying to barge her way in. His nurse is being more than patient with her. She's explaining that he's on the phone. He rolls his eyes at her trying to throw her weight around with the "Wife," bit. He decides to put an end to it.

He opens the door, "Come in Mellie!"

She comes in, almost arrogantly, as Fitz lets her in. "Why is she being so difficult. After all, I am your wife." She says as she sits down.

"You were my wife," Fitz says as he sits back on the couch.. Mellie glares at him. "She was doing her job, which was for me to finish my phone call without being interrupted."

"If I were Olivia the Great," she starts to say.

"We are getting married," Fitz reminds her.

"What do you want, Mellie?"

She takes a stern posture with him, squaring her shoulders, "You could act like she loved me once upon a time. You act like the sight of me disgusts you."

Fitz is already growing irritated, "Let's not travel that road. I am going to say something that will hurt your feelings and I am not going to do that."

"Fine," she rolls her eyes and then her nostrils flare when she notices the pictures that now adorn his desk behind. One is a photo of him and Olivia, with Olivia's arms wrapped around Karen who's in front. The other photo is from the night he and Olivia got engaged. She's crying and the look on Fitz's face is a look of love she's never seen before. "Am I not invited to that wedding?"

"That's why you came all the way over here," Fitz says surprised.

"Well, I think it is a good question. My children's father is getting married and.."

"And that's it," Fitz cuts her off. He looks at her suspiciously. "You hate Olivia and you aren't happy about us getting married. Why would you possibly want to come?"

"I think I should be there for the sake of the kids," Mellie says.

"The kids know you hate Olivia. So what's the angle?" Fitz asks. He is tired of her games.

"I don't hate Olivia, I just…."

"Mellie, I don't have time for your games," Fitz says plainly.

"I guess I want to go to see if it's really real. I guess I can't wrap my head around the fact that our therapist is marrying my husband. The cruel irony of it all," Mellie explains.

"You cheated on me with another man and got pregnant. You let us live a lie. You let me name him after me. You want to talk about cruel irony Mellie," Fitz defends.

"I didn't know. Why don't you believe that?" Mellie says.

"But you knew it was possible," Fitz recalls.

"You'll never know how sorry I am. I know you'll never believe it, but I am."

"I'll talk to Liv about you coming to the wedding. If you want to come to ruin our day, I'll have you arrested. And don't believe for a second that I wouldn't do it," Fitz says. He's hoping for once she's not so absorbed in her self-absorption that she doesn't listen.

"I don't want to cause trouble, Fitz. I figure the least I can do is be there to support you. You found a missing puzzle piece of your life," she explains.

Fitz drops his head. He doesn't want to agree but she knows the answers. "Will you be bringing someone?"

"Would it bother you if I did?" Mellie asks. He can hear the twinge of hope in her words.

'No, it wouldn't but I know how hard weddings can be, going alone. If you bought someone, even Richard, I guess that would be okay. We are all going to have to co-exist for the sake of Gerry," Fitz explains.

"I think things could get serious," Mellie admits.

Fitz gets up, walking over to her, resting on his desk. "Is he going to leave his wife?"

"I think he's moving toward it. I mean they have two kids, so it's not cut and dry but I'm giving him the space to do it," Mellie explains.

Fitz is silent for a moment. "That's good Mellie. I hope it works out. Maybe you found your missing puzzle piece. Everyone has one out there waiting to be found, I think."

Mellie can't help but laugh, "When did you become so profound, so contemplative?" She asks.

Fitz puts his hands in his pocket, "It happens when you find that piece," he answers.

Mellie gets up from the seat, "I better go, I guess."

"Yes, I have to meet Olivia. We have some last minute stuff to deal with from the shooting. We can finally put it behind us."

Mellie goes toward the door, "I am glad that you are okay. I am glad it wasn't worse. Love makes you do stupid things. It's a shame he lost his life because of it."

"Yes," Fitz says as he opens the door for Mellie.

"Do me a favor?" Mellie says as she turns back around before she walks out.

"What's that?" Fitz says.

"Don't look too happy at the wedding," Mellie requests.

"Happiest moment of my life. I don't know if I can do that," Fitz says.

"Do it for me. Can you not look like she's made you the happiest man in the world?" Mellie laughs.

"Goodbye Mellie," Fitz says as he outstretches his hand for her to go out of the door. He closes the door shaking his head. Mellie is consistent in arrogance. He actually likes that about her.

Fitz is running a little late. He texts Olivia to let her know that he would be there as soon as he could. Olivia is sitting in the lawyer's office with Nancy and Jake's sister. She didn't understand why she needed to be there for the reading of Jake's will but she said she would be there and she is. She asked Fitz to be there with her and he agreed.

They sit there in silence as they wait. Nancy is glaring at Olivia. His sister is looking at her with a mixture of sympathy and empathy. She knows her mother's anger is misplaced but she's in no condition to take sides right now and she doesn't want to. The lawyer has stepped out for a few minutes. Olivia decides she should break the ice. She deeply regrets her decision after the words leave her mouth.

"The funeral was lovely," Liv says.

"Did you dance on his grave when we weren't looking?" Nancy says.

"Mom," JoAnna says.

Liv decides it would be best if she doesn't fight that battle. "I didn't mean anything by it, except to say.."

"We understand," JoAnna answers.

The lawyer, Mr. Peters comes in. "I am so sorry to have kept you all waiting. It's been a pretty busy day." He looks around the room. He can see the gulf that separates both sides of the room. "I guess we can go ahead and get started. It looks like everyone is here."

"My fiance is coming," Liv speaks up.

"You had the nerve to invite him here. The man you left your husband for. The man you cheated on my son with," Nancy starts sputtering.

Just as Liv is about to speak, Fitz comes in, "I am sorry I am late. I had some meetings that ran over." He goes to Liv's side. He can see the stress that's across her face. He grabs her hand, squeezing it tight.

"Okay, now that everyone is here, let's get to it."

"Mr. Peters, Jake and I have been divorced. I don't understand why I needed to be here," Liv speaks up.

"You have no right to be here," Nancy adds. Liv tries to keep her cool.

"Mrs. Ballard," Mr. Peters starts.

Liv interrupts him, "I go by Pope now. Ms. Pope would be fine."

"Ms. Pope, Mr. Ballard left his business to you. Serendipity Landscaping was left to you," he explains.

Liv is shocked. She looks at Fitz, holding his hand tighter, "Are you sure? Why would he leave the business to me?"

Mr. Peters pulls this letter out of this folder and passes it to her. "He changed his will about a week before he died. These were his wishes."

"Why would he leave his business to this whore who bought him nothing but misery? Why would he..?"

Before she can finish Fitz turns to her, "I understand you are upset Mrs. Ballard but I will not let you sit here and speak to or about Olivia that way. Your son paid someone to try and kill me. He could have hurt a lot of other people, including my son. I've watched you do nothing but insult Olivia since this all happened when this was not her fault."

Nancy looks startled. Fitz has never spoken more than 5 words to her. She has never seen him like this. "He was my son."

"No one understands that connection more than I do but you held him too tight and…"

"And you never should have told him about Olivia getting married," JoAnna says, which shocks Nancy even more.

"JoAnna, I am your mother."

"And I am going to tell you the truth. You created this and looked how it ended. My brother is dead because you drilled in his brain something that was never true. Olivia is not the reason he's dead."

Liv decides to speak. She can see the pain on Nancy's face, "Mrs. Ballard, there's no need to speak ill of the dead and we've been over this many times before but Jake wasn't a saint and neither was I. I lied about my miscarriage but I never cheated on Jake but he cheated on me. We hurt each other and I regret that but you never let him be his own man. You never let him be married. Jake was married to you and to me and even after it was over, you meddled. Now he's dead."

Nancy begins to cry at this point. It's all hitting too close to home now. She knows what Liv is saying is true. JoAnna goes to her side to console her, "Mom it's okay."

"I killed him," Nancy says.

Liv lays her head on Fitz's shoulder. She hated to say those words but she knew it was needed. Mr Peters decides ths is good time to finish, "He left a letter here for you Mrs. Ballard and for you JoAnna," he says passing the letters.

"I don't want the business," Olivia says.

"There's nothing we can do with the business. I don't live here and Mom," JoAnna starts.

Fitz kisses Liv's forehead, "We will figure it out. I'll help you."

They finish talking about the particulars as they leave. Liv watches Nancy walk away. "I hated saying that to her."

"You told her the truth. It was hard for her to hear but it was the truth," Fitz says.

"Were you serious when you said you'd help me with the business?"

"Of course I was. He and I both had something in common," Fitz begins.'

"You better not say, me. I am going to make you sing soprano," she threatens.

"No," he laughs. "We both believe in Serendipity, remember?"

Liv smiles, as he kisses the top of her hand. "I love you."

"I love you," he answers. "Now let's get out of here."

They leave. Fitz has a surprise for her and he doesn't want anything messing that up.

Fitz has made Liv wear a blindfold. She has no idea where they are going but she can smell the water and the crisp breeze going across her face. Fitz is chuckling because he can see the wheels turning in her head even with her blindfold on.

"Fitz, where are you taking me?"

"Watch your step," he chuckles.

She stops dead in her tracks. "I am not moving another step until you tell me where we are going and what you are doing?"

"We are going to do something spontaneous," He says. The wind has picked up tremendously and Liv can feel it.

"Fitz, where are we?" Liv says as he stops her. He walks behind her. "Fitz," she repeats.

"Are you ready?" Fitz asks.

"I think so," she says as she hears the choppers begin to rev up.

He unties her blindfold. "Your chariot awaits," he announces.

Liv's eyes widen at the site of the helicopter that is ready to move. "What is this?"

"Have you ever been around this beautiful city in a helicopter?"

"No, of course not," she smiles.

"Tonight's the night," he says as he starts walking her toward the helicopter.

"Fitz, I am not getting on that thing," Liv says as she plants her feet.

Liv gets close to her, "Come on! I am not going to let anything happen to you."

"I am not getting on that thing," Liv repeats. '

"But you ride airplanes," Fitz points out.

"That's different from a freaking helicopter. This is a helicopter. Do we know this is a safe way to travel?" Liv says. Fitz can't help but laugh again. Liv hits his chest, "Stop making fun of me."

"I am not. It's just that you are shivering. You never shiver unless I'm giving you a really good orgasm and.."

Liv throws her hand over his mouth, "Would you shut up?" she laughs.

He pulls her to him, "Go with me. In the next few weeks we are going to be dealing with the wedding and family and not a moment's peace. I want to do something romantic and different."

"Couldn't we have just joined the mile high club in your private jet?" Liv suggests.

Fitz grins with pride, "I love that idea. We can do that on our way to our honeymoon," he answers.

"You still haven't told me where we are going."

"Where we are going is my surprise. I can't wait to surprise you," Fitz says. "But for now, would you take this leap with me?" He asks as he nuzzles her neck, kissing her softly.

"Are you sure nothing is going to happen?"

He kisses her neck again. "Nothing is going to happen."

She rests her head back on his chest. "If something happens to us, I'll never forgive you."

Fitz laughs, "Deal!" He leads her to the helicopter and they get on strapping themselves in. "Prepare to be amazed."

They go on the ride, which surprisingly to Liv was the most beautiful experience she's ever had. Seeing Chicago from the air at night and flying around its beauty was amazing. The other surprise was the helicopter dropped them off at the top of their building. She had no idea it had a helicopter pad at the top. Fitz had dinner waiting for them when they landed. He planned dinner by looking at the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan.

They are sitting, having dinner, fingers locked. "That was amazing," Liv whispers.

"I told you," Fitz laughs.

"I don't think amazing is the right word to describe it. I think it was exhilarating. Can we do it once a week?" She surprises.

Fitz puts his fork down, laughing but surprised. "Once a week. That's decadent but I can make that happen."

"We were floating in the clouds," she says with this look of wonder and innocence. He stops and just stares at her. She notices his stare. "What are you staring at?"

"At you, beautiful. This is what I wanted. This is what I wanted you to see. I wanted to see that look on your face."

She takes his hand, kissing the inside of the palm, "Is this what being married to you is going to be like?"

"Candlelight dinners and spoiling you," he answers.

"Yes," she bites her lips.

"It most certainly will be and then some," taking her hand and kissing the inside of its palm.

"I can't wait to make you mine," she says seductively.

"Hmmm, this morning. I think you solidified that."

Liv can't help but blush, "Only for you."

There is a silence, and then Fitz speaks, "Something weird happened to me today."

"Something weird happened to me too," Liv says.

"You go first," Fitz says.

"No, you started. You should go first," Liv says.

"Mellie wants to come to our wedding," he announces.

"What?...Why?"

"I honestly don't know."

Liv takes a breath, "I didn't invite her because I didn't want to rub this wedding in hre face considering but.."

"I told her I would talk to you about it. I told her under no circumstances was she going to fuck up our wedding,"

Liv laughs, "You didn't say it that way did you."

"Pretty much and I meant it."

"I don't mind her being there. I want us to all get along for the kids sake," Liv explains.

"That's what I want too. My kids come first with her." He stops, "She wants to bring Richard. They are getting serious apparently."

Liv chokes on her sip of wine. Fitz reacts quickly getting up. "I'm fine. I'm fine. It just went down the wrong way."

"Are you sure?"

Liv pats her chest, "Yes, I'm fine. It's just that, Richard and his wife are my new clients."

"What?"

"They want to fix their marriage. He wants to fix his marriage. If he's lying, he's lying. But he sat on my couch and said that."

"Mellie doesn't know that," Fitz says. "She is convinced they are getting serious."

"I don't know what's going on. I just know they are in love. I could see that. He loves his wife and she definitely loves him, knowing everything she knows."

"Richard recognized you," Fitz says.

"Of course we fumbled around but I want to help them, their marriage has a chance."

"Yet my wife thinks she's found love again," Fitz deduces.

"And yet again it will be my fault for her unhappiness."

Fitz takes a moment. "I don't care about Mellie or Richard right now. I only care about spending the rest of this night spoiling the soon to be Mrs. Grant. I want us to go upstairs and finish what we started this morning."

"But what about the doctors?" Liv says.

"I am strong enough to walk and do everything else. I can make love to my wife," Fitz says.

"But I'm not your wife yet," Liv says cutely.

"My heart, my mind, and all of this body you love so much belongs to you. You are my wife. We just have to make it official."

"I can't wait," she says.

"Shall we go," he says getting up. She smiles as they go downstairs to enjoy the rest of their night.

Mellie is sitting in her room in the dark. She just got off of the phone with Richard. He breaks the unfortunate news to her that he's going to work on his marriage. She lays in her bed crying herself to sleep, angry and rejected.

How will this affect her?
