5. Consequences of One Action
One Day Before The First Day at U.A….
As a token of appreciation to celebrate his entrance to U.A., Izuku invited Itsuka and her father for dinner to one of the most exquisite dinners in Yokohama Ijincho at the Liumang restaurant on the top of the Heian Tower.
Another reason was to apologize for Itsuka hanging up the phone and giving him the cold shoulder.
Both the building and restaurant had become the second place for heroes and important people to dine and needs a reservation. Lending his nephew a transport, his aunt spoke, "Don't say I never did any favors for you."
As of right now, they are inside her limo. The family of two stared outside the window in awe, their first time being in a limousine after all. Yagi was there as well, acting with ease as he was used to it.
"I never thought your aunt was rich."
"She was very ambitious, Yagi-san. My sister had a dream to own her own company and she had the skill and the knowledge to do so, unlike me." This was something Inko was aware of. "Well, she wanted to become a pro hero as she thought it was the faster way to get influence and prestige and she did even if disapproved by my family but they can't deny that my sister Anna had a powerful Quirk and family heritage to boost."
Both boys could tell what she meant by that.
"It's alright Midoriya-san. It's just my first time riding a limo." Itsuka said with a smile.
The five of them remain quiet as they reach their destination. When they saw the building it was extraordinary with its Chinese architect and elegance. They walked inside the restaurant to be seated in a VIP room with an aquarium background.
He could see her aunt sitting and looking at the phone probably discussing her work. And he was scared. "Ah, aunt Anna! Why are you here?"
She put down the phone and looked at the guests coming in. "What, can't I celebrate dinner with my family and his friends?"
Amidamaru snorted, knowing better.
"I'm Anna Asakura, Inko Midoriya's big sister. Kendo and Toshinori-san, a pleasure meeting all of you." She gave a bow. "My nephew had been talking all about you."
Both Itsuka and her father bowed respectively "Thank you for having us."
"Same here." Yagi also bowed.
"Pleasure is all mine, please sit down. I'm ordering something special, for today's occasion is Peking Duck." Izuku gave a huff in relief. Peking duck was one of the main dishes the imperial courts ate. She's treating them well.
"That so generous of you Asakura-san," Itsuka said, thanking the older woman. This was her first time trying such exquisite food.
"Nonsense, let's just eat."
Yagi raised a hand. "Excuse me, could I order a porridge? I have a very upset stomach."
"Just order whatever you fancy. There is a coupon." The dinner then went underway.
As they finished their meal, Anna was the one who spoke first. "Izuku, I hope you didn't slack on your training by pestering others of their Quirks again."
He flinched. "No, aunt Anna! I'm been good and training to become a hero."
"Good and I thank both of you for helping to look after Izuku. I'm sure he's been giving you trouble."
"He does," Yagi said.
"That's what friends are for, Asakura-san," Itsuka said.
"What about me?" Mr. Kendo asked.
"Did you once contribute to my nephew's growth?" The man shut his mouth at that.
"So now that you've enjoyed your meals, I would like for the three of you to go home. I'd like to speak with my family if that's alright." The three outsiders don't need to think twice, got up bowed, and Thank Anna for the meal as they leave living only members of the Asakura family.
"Inko, you can leave also." The obvious demand was demand.
Knowing what this meant, Inko got up to make her exit. As Inko left, leaving the two of them in the restaurant, it quickly became quiet. Izuku even noticed there was a lack of people all of a sudden.
"Tell me, Izuku-chan, what reason did I pick this place to celebrate your passing exam for?"
He gained a feeling of dread. "Is it because aunt Anna craves Chinese food?"
She laughed before her face turned deadly serious. "No. This place is more than just a fancy restaurant you see; it's more like a fortress, for secret discussions are always held within these walls for heroes, villains, government officials, and politicians. Whatever secrets they can talk about openly as the policy is to remain secret. Thus is the nature of this neutral area."
Izuku already explained about All Might, being his successor, and One For All so what else could she want to talk about?
"Still, it would be best to keep quiet about certain things even here. So let's get to why you're here, Izuku." She clasped her fingers together. "The first day you manifested the ability to become Shaman was the day it changes your life. I trained you hard to this day so that you would become a hero. It's your dream and passion, but it will bring a question to us."
"And that is?"
"If you continue t be a hero, other shamans will be inspired to be heroes too. And that, in turn, will start to reveal the existence of Shaman to the world." Izuku widened his eyes to her; she thought about the ramifications far more than he did.
"Isn't that good?"
"The Shaman's existence has been kept secrets for thousands of years to prevent mass panic, prejudice, and discrimination. This has been long before even the appearance of Quirks 250 years ago. If they figure out that your Quirk isn't a Quirk there will be more questions. Even Curses and Yokai may start t come to light."
"Well, can't I just keep it so they think it's a-"
"There are Shaman that are pro heroes who hide their abilities to use their Quirks. That includes me."She picked up a seashell and easily crushed it with her fingers. He remembered that ability, Iron Claw. "Are you willing to take the responsibly of becoming the next Symbol and a shaman at the same time?"
Izuku looked down at himself, before back to her. "Aunt Anna-"
"I'll await your answer. I don't want you delivering some half-assed, shallow response without understanding the depth of it."
He sighed. "Look, I understand that this is big, but it has always been my dream to become a hero just like All Might. I want to save people with a smile, and I worked hard and endured all of this for that. If I stopped now, I would be spitting in the faces of everyone who helped and believed in me."
Anna stared at him for a bit, before sighing. "I said no shallow answer… but, it was far less than I expected." She then passed him a wooden box.
He opened it up revealing a pair of black, fingerless gloves. Each had an inscription.
"What's this for?"
"These are no ordinary gloves. The skin is from a hundred-year-old serpent, whose scales were said to be impervious to any attacks. The remaining metal is made from the remnants of war weapons that residue with the spiritual essence of other warrior's energy. And its inscription is Celtic runes inscribed under the moonlight."
"Whoa…"
"These gloves will not only help you holding Harusame steadily, but will be able to enhance your Furyoku by eight percent. Not just that, but it allows normal people to see the Meta-physical form of Over-Soul much more clearly including those from far."
"Wait, it does?" He stared down at these gloves. "Why give them to me? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of what you said?"
Her eyes turned dark. "Do you really think I would waste my time training you to be a hero and then give you that speech years later?" She then lightened up. "It's time the Shaman changed their thoughts on the world. To do that, we need a hero, someone who can stand at the top of the world through his efforts. Just as Yoh Asakura did that for us years ago, you can do this for us now."
Tears welled up in his eyes. He's never heard her say anything nice to him. "Thank you, Aunt Anna. Thank you for believing in me."
"Thank me when you succeed. For now, go to your mother. She's probably worried about you."
"Th-Thank you!" He took his gift and ran off, leaving the Itako as he and Amidamaru took for the outside.
Once he was gone, Anna took a big sip from expensive alcohol. It's a big risk she's making; her nephew was still naïve, but that may prove to his favor. After all the experiences she had suffered through, this will be easier on him.
"People are naturally selfish, but by spending time with others you end up seeing beyond yourself. A boy like himself can change the world, do what not even All Might with his time limit can do, but he'll need the support and love of people who understand what he needs to do. I was only ever surrounded by the corrupted; that's why I retired and left the spotlight."
As Anna finished her drink, her secretary appeared. This was a young adult woman who had long blonde hair. "Oh, Rivetta Dovork.About time you came around."
"Madame," Rivetta said, "is it alright to leave such thing to master Izuku?"
"Really?" She eyed her. "Do you not want him to pull this off? You're a Quirkless Shaman just like him."
"I mean, this is going to be a lot of pressure on him. He is just a kid."
"It's fine, Rivetta. Growth comes when consequences are attached. Besides, I feel that something is going to happen and it would involve heroes, villains, and other Shamans. The boy may not be an heir to the family, but he will become something more important than just a Symbol of Peace. Only time will tell."
Rivetta looked back at where Izuku left. "And… did you at least tell him the OTHER secret about him?"
"Nope. He'll find out soon enough…" She grinned. "After all, they're both in the same school."
Every action has its consequences as Izuku being the first person to use his Shaman powers to enter a hero school a lot of people will start to know the existence of spirit in time.
There would be two Shaman entering the school as they have Quirks to hide their heritage but with Izuku an Asakura they will meet and introduced themselves Also they need to use Over-Soul to fight another Over-Soul especially during the sports festival. So theirs going to be a shaman fight.
Tokoyomi isn't the one, as he can't see just because the guys into goth doesn't mean he can see spirit it is too obvious. The reason that person can see spirits is too due to family heritage.
This is just a flashback

Rivetta Dovork. She's a character from Juuki Ningen Jumbor or Jumbor by Takei Hiroyuki and I'm surprised nobody thought using its theme.
