You're Gonna Dance to My Tune, Papi!
Chapter Two
Several Valentinos and their associates were congregating at a basketball court in the Glen. This was a usual day for them, until an AV came out of nowhere and parked in the middle of said court. Things such as that were certainly not usual for a casual Valentinos hang out.
"You Corpo-trash get lost, ese?"
Much to their surprise, one of their own was among the passengers.
A young man in his early 20's, modestly built and modest in height, acknowledged her. "Milena?"
"Francisco."
Her brother's childhood friend did not like her company. "What are you doing with these corpo-gringos, chica?"
"They have a lead on V, Francisco. I'm going to take it. It's only right I invite you to to come along."
Francisco was visibly frustrated. "The fuck, Andrea? Have you gone loco? You can't trust their kind!"
Milena sighed. "Well, I tried to offer, anyhow." She signaled for one of the men to come to her. "Tobias!"
"Milena…"
"This is Francisco, my brother's best choom since they were preschool aged. Francisco, this is Tobias, the man I'm dating!"
Francisco spat. "Are you fucking kidding me, Andrea? You're involved with this piece of shit corpo mutt?"
Tobias smirked. "Nice to you meet you too, choom."
Francisco did not reply, rather he pulled a silver revolver pistol but was disarmed before he realized what happened, and was flabbergasted to see this man inspecting the brass he just commandeered. "Ah, Overwatch, I use one of these as well. You got good taste in handguns, I'll give you that."
"Did you just use a Sandevistan, gringo?!"
"Yeah, and no hand-me-down either; This shit is the latest model."
"Andrea, what are you doing with him?! He could go cyberpsycho at any minute!"
The lady scoffed at his criticism. "Oh hush, you're just jealous because I would never, ever sleep with you! Ever since I was 13 you always tried to get with me!"
Francisco protested, "That's not it, Andrea!"
Milena arched raised her eyebrows. "What is it, then? Hmm?"
Francisco was silent.
Milena scoffed at him yet again. "That's what I thought. Besides, he saved me from a 6th Street attack. Those punk ass putas tried to rape me, and he saved me without any thought of the consequences or reward! So don't go talking shit, choom." She looked to her love, "Tobias, papi, will you please come with me to my apartment and help me pick out some clothes for our trip to Arizona?"
The hit man grinned. "Si, mami!"
As they walked off, Francisco punched the concrete beneath him but his only accomplishment in doing so was injuring his knuckles. "God damn it!"
After cradling his hand for a bit, he noticed the other suit standing guard in front of the AV. "The fuck you lookin' at, homes?"
"If I were you, I would walk away from all this before bad things happen to you," Goro offered this as his advice.
"Who da fuck do you think you are?"
"I am the head of Arasaka Corporation's Security, and I can assure you it would be in your best interest to step back."
Francisco figured this other suit might be chromed out as well, thus he didn't make any move against him.
Several minutes later, Milena and Tobias returned, the latter carrying a duffelbag, which one would assume contained her clothes.
This time Milena was dressed in a similar outfit she had before the 6th Street members attacked her, only this time her plaid shirt was red and maroon as opposed to white and gray.
"Damn, Mamacita, you lookin' so fly!" Francisco complimented.
Milena's face scrunched up with disgust. "You're like a brother to me, choom, that's fucking disgusting. Now let's get out of here!"
Tobias offered his condolences to Francisco. "Sorry, kid, but she's just not into you."
Francisco shot back, "And she can't trust you, despite whatever she thinks you two have! And that means I'm coming with, gonna make sure you suits don't pull any strange shit with her."
Tobias shrugged. "Whatever you say, choom."
Takemura was getting frustrated. "Can we please hurry this drama up? We have a lot of work to do, and a long trip ahead."
Milena glared at Francisco. "I think the drama has concluded, right choom?"
Defeated, Francisco replied, "Yeah, I've said my piece."
Without further ado, they boarded the AV and departed towards Arizona.
