KS: Hello again. I know I've been away for long. I got into university and it's taken up a lot of my time. Still, I have been building up my resolve to write more. And thus, leads me to starting this little project of mine. This is going to be yet another mass-crossover fic, only it'll be more obvious this time around. I'm going to release a set of teasers detailing the main characters of this story. The first one is someone we all know. I'd add love, but I'd be making a lot of assumptions. Anyway, here's the first one. Enjoy.
Nobody had any idea how it happened. The worlds suddenly began to merge, and a lot of the problems from them suddenly came together.
The heroes from their each world came together to resolve each others issues, but there was no shortage of disagreements of how it should be done.
The villains aren't much better either. More often than not, one group's plans will clash with another's, resulting in a rather large mess.
But then there are those who, for a lack of a better term, keep off the grid in the affair of the world. Be it out of their own volition due to former comrades turning against them over a pointless slight, or short-sighed choices that resulted in former comrades shunning them.
This is a story of three dragons, who have distanced themselves from their respective groups and society as a whole, trying to survive in a new world.
A large, black dragon is currently fighting a young man with brown hair. He kept his gaze on the monster, dodging all of its attacks effortlessly.
"Are you sure you don't need my help, partner?"
"Don't worry about it," the young man replied. "I can handle this in an instant."
The dragon shot another fireball at him, and he simply raised his hand in front it. Once the fireball made contact, it immediately dissolved.
"Cute. Now's my turn."
From his hands, a red ball of energy formed in his hand, and he threw it at the dragon. Once it made contact with the monster, it was killed in an instant.
"There, it's over," the young man said.
"Why did you choose to fight such a weak dragon?"
He shrugged. "I need to kill time. Now let's just get the materials."
The young man went into a shop and poured out the remains of the black dragon onto a desk. The store clerk stared at him in absolute disbelief.
"Dammit, Hyodo, can't you send anything intact for once?" the clerk complained.
"Not really," the young man replied. "I won't be here much longer anyway. All the monsters here are below my level."
The clerk huffed in annoyance. "Has anyone told you that you're an asshole?"
The young man took out a cigarette, then used fire magic to light it before putting it in his mouth.
"I've been called a brainless dildo a few years back," the young man replied in a bitter tone. "Compared to that, any other insult is half-hearted at best."
The clerk let out a dry chuckle. "You've been through hell, haven't you?"
The young man took a drag from his cigarette, then released a puff of smoke. He looked at the clerk with brown eyes that had all kinds of hostility behind them.
"You've got no idea."
This is a man who once had a dream. A dream to have a harem of beautiful girls of various cup sizes. But since that fateful day, he has been unable to so much as look at well-developed women with intense distain. Since the Merge, he has been wandering from one settlement to another, taking on jobs that focus on defeating monsters. Of course, his pay is always reduced due to him obliterating the monsters, leaving very little materials to bring back. Not that it matters to him.
This is Issei Hyodo. Once known as the Red Dragon Emperor. But now… he is the Wandering Dragon Berserker.
KS: Yeah, this guy's no longer a pervert. His interests are no longer aligned with melons, milk duds, whatever. But he's not the only one who'll go through a personality shift. The next dragon will bring light into your life... even though there isn't any in hers. Not anymore, anyway.
