KS: Alright, here is the last teaser, as well as the third... I'd like to say hero, but even that's pushing it a bit. Anyway, here's the third dragon.

Numerous bizarre phenomena occurred during the time of the Merge. Specifically, entities that were thought to only exist in legend came into existence and were visible to all. Some were wonderous and offered their services to people, while others wreak havoc for no reason other than to cause chaos.

But what is to say of those who have escaped the cold touch of death, only to be frought with a worse fate?

Talulah sighed as she adjusted her cloak, walking around in a ramshackle town filled with all kinds of unsavoury individuals. She thought, considering her track record, she would fit in with no issue whatsoever.

"Our world merged with several others," she muttered. "And thanks to the technology offered, a cure for Oripathy is on the horizon."

She pulled the edge of her hood further to hide her face.

"But no amount of medicine can ever rid oneself of the amount of blood one has accumulated on their hands."

Though she no longer has the influence of the Deathless Black Snake, Talulah still feels the weight of the attrocities she committed under Reunion's banner. Attrocities she believed she deserved to die a thousand- no, a billion times over.

In fact, she had her first brush with death when Reunion's new leader announced that she would be executed.

-Flashback-

Tightly bound in restraints that restricted her art, Talulah was surrounded by her former comrades, shouting all kinds of obscenities at her, along with rocks. She was more or less passive to the abuse she received, both physical and verbal, believing it was well deserved.

Among the jeers and objects tossed towards her, Nine calmly walked towards Talulah, her expression neutral as ever.

"You're looking calm for someone who's about to face her long awaited retribution," she said.

"What, did you expect me to bawl out in plead for my life?" Talulah snarked.

Nine just stared at the former leader. "Reunion is entering a new age with new opportunities. Regretably, you won't be a part of it."

"You truly intend to wipe your hands of me, then," Talulah sighed. "Guess I should've seen this coming."

"There's something else you should see coming," Nine said, holding a syringe.

"What are you going to- gah!"

Talulah was interrupted when Nine jabbed the syringe needle into her neck, injecting the contents into her bloodstream. The Draco immediately felt the effects as pain racked through her body. Despite all this, she forced herself to let out no more than strained whimpers.

"This is a poison that causes anyone who is injected by it to die a slow painful death," Nine said. "And that goes double for Infected."

Talulah managed to glare at Nine despite enduring the maddening amount of pain she felt. "You… you planned this."

"It's as I said before, Talulah," Nine said in a cold tone. "Reunion is going into a new age. And you will not be part of it in any shape or form. As a matter of fact, once it is all said and done, you'll be nothing more than a memory."

Talulah glared at Nine, even though the pain became more intense than ever before.

The new leader of Reunion walked back towards the crowd, whose jeers became louder once they saw their former leader's pained moans became louder enough for them to hear.

"Prepare the casters," Nine ordered. "Let her serve as an example to those who would defy us."

The caster grinned beneath his mask, as if waiting for this very day. "As you wish, leader."

He and several other casters began preparing their arts, charging up energy to put an end to Talulah. The Draco grit her teeth as sweat poured down her face as the pain reached unbearable levels. But her defiant expression was a mask for her somber thoughts.

"Alina… I fear this is it. I'm going to face retribution for all I have done. Although it was under darker influences, my actions were still my own. And for that… I doubt I'll reunite with you in the next world."

Talulah continued looking defiant, but something happened.

A loud roar from a distance caught everyone's attention.

"What the?"

Everyone turned towards the source, and saw a large, black dragon flying above them.

"W-What the hell?!"

"Is that a goddamn dragon?!"

The soldiers looked panicked, but Nine remained calm.

"All arts and ammunition at the dragon at once!" she ordered in a firm tone.

Hearing that made the soldiers gather their composure. Aiming their guns and arts at the dragon, they opened fire. Sadly, it did very little against the large creature.

Gathering up a ball of fire in its mouth, the dragon fired upon the group. Nobody had any time to react as the flaming orb decended upon them.

Everyone panicked. Everyone ran around screaming.

But Talulah was different.

She just stared at the fireball, watching it get closer, accepting what she believed was retribution for all she had done with whatever dignity she had left.

"This is how I die, then. I suppose it's fitting that I be finished off by one of my own."

She closed her eyes as the fireball finally made contact, the flames enveloping her body.

-Present-

"And yet, I'm still alive," Talulah muttered, looking at her reflecting in a window. Shockingly enough, her body only suffered a few minor burns, and the one on her face didn't do much to mar her beauty.

"This must be another cruel joke by fate," she muttered. "I guess my sins are so deep that even the reaper wouldn't approach my soul with a yardstick."

"Funny you should mention that," a male voice said from behind her.

Talulah flinched hearing the voice and turned around. She a young man with orange hair wearing a black hakama and had a large sword strapped to his back.

"I happen to be a Soul Reaper," the man said.

Talulah couldn't help but blink. "Who… who are you?"

The man grinned.

"My name is Ichigo Kurosaki. And I'm a Soul Reaper."

The woman lost everything, and her fellow brethren has turned against her, wanting nothing more than her head on a pike. And for some reason, survived a brutal attack against a monster that bears one of her most prominent features. But even she knows that the scars that are seen on the surface pale in comparison to those within her soul. And now she has an encounter with an individual known as a Soul Reaper. What could this entail for her?

Talulah Artorius, the former leader of the Reunion Movement… now, she is the Black Dragon Who Evaded Death.
