Scotty still wasn't sure how Kirk had managed to find them, but he wasn't complaining and neither was Lexie or Chekov.
Somehow Kirk had managed to find the nerf guns that McCoy had taken off them about a month ago, due to a little incident.
They were a great way to pass the time, but also a good way of making phaser training fun and less dangerous. In a way.
Lexie was currently hiding inside one of the cleaning closets, waiting for either one of her nerf wielding friends to pass by.
Thankfully it seemed she wouldn't have to wait too long, down the hall walked Scotty, his nerf gun tightly in hand.
She waited till he got a little closer before jumping out into the hallway, Lexie took aim and fired, hitting him in the arm.
But as she fired, Lexie felt something hit her in the back of the head. She span round to see Chekov poking around the corner.
"I'll get you for that Pavel!" She cried before running after the Navigator, who had took off running. While Scotty followed suit.
"You'll pay for that sneak attack lass!" He yelled, waving his gun about like an angry old man. So, basically like McCoy.
As the three officers chased each other down the hall, like something out of a 21st century comedy sketch. Kirk took aim.
He had been hiding from them, waiting to sneak attack all three of them at the same time. It was a perfect plan.
As soon as his three friends were in sight, Kirk took aim and fired. Hitting each of them directly in the head.
Kirk couldn't help but laugh at the expressions on their faces, but he soon stopped laughing when he saw them staring at him.
"Pavel, Scotty. Wanna call a temporary truce?" Lexie asked with a smirk, the Scotsman and the Russian nodded.
"Aye lass, let's teach Jimbo here that it's not a good idea to sneak attack people." Scotty replied as he gripped his gun.
Kirk didn't want to wait around, three on one wasn't the best of odds. So instead he took off running, like a bullet.
But the others were close behind him, shooting the odd bullet as they went.
Kirk soon stopped outside a door, the others did the same. Guns aimed.
"We can talk about this." Kirk muttered, "Nope." Lexie chuckled as she nodded, which Scotty and Chekov did as well.
Every gun was fired, but no one got hit by any bullets. That was because they all hit someone else.
It was McCoy, he had walked out of the door, straight into the line of fire. Kirk didn't realize they were at sick bay.
He was hit in both of his eyes, one hit him in the ear and another connected with his nose.
"Bloody hell!" McCoy yelled angrily, that was enough to strike fear into the officers. You never anger McCoy.
"Oh no…" Kirk muttered quietly to himself, this wasn't going to end well. Judging by the look on McCoy's face.
"You might want to start running now." McCoy said through gritted teeth, his eyes still closed.
Scotty, Chekov, and Lexie didn't need to be told twice. Since they had already legged it, guns tightly in hand.
McCoy opened his eyes then turned to face Kirk, who was almost shaking. "Come on Bones, we were just havi…"
Kirk didn't get to finish what he was saying, since McCoy had jabbed him in the neck with his hypo.
After shoving his childish Captain into a biobed and telling the nurses to keep him there, McCoy went after the others.
The first one he found was Chekov, who had been hiding in the Jefferies tubes a little bit down the hall.
The next person he found was Lexie, who had tried to hide in a cleaning closet. But McCoy knew her too well.
And by the power of deduction, Scotty was last and McCoy didn't even need to find him, since he was just stood in the hall.
After marching the three officers back to sick bay, he sat them down and went off on one.
He then took the guns off them and sent them on their way, McCoy was tempted to just throw the guns out an airlock.
But he knew that Kirk and the others would most likely never talk to him again, for the next five years.
So instead he once again hid them, this time in a place he was certain Kirk or any of them wouldn't find them.
Yet again, that's what he thought the last time. Muttered angrily to himself, McCoy pressed two ice packs on his eyes.
He was going to have a pair of black eyes, he just knew it. Not to mention a bruised nose and ear. Nothing new there then.
