Part II:
Izuku and Mina were basically talking all the time. They actually have quite nothing in common. But they were fine with that, which makes the excitement of getting to know one another even more than before.
They had talked about how their studies were going. Izuku was pretty sure Mina accidentally made a baby cry with how loud she shouted in surprise. Mina was still working on finishing up with high school. Whilsts Izuku had already received different amounts of scholarships.
He promised Mina he'd help her study.
Honestly, he should've expected her to pull out her calculous books and demand him to tutor her. He just smiled and asked in what language.
After that it was all talk, maybe a movie. He did enjoy her presence. He also came to the conclusion that he likes to see her smile. More than her crying.
There was one funny moment. Izuku couldn't help but wake up a second child with how loud they were laughing.
"Say, Green. While we're here on the plane." She said and leaned between their seats. "You wouldn't mind joining the 'Mile High Club'." Mina wiggled her eyebrows at him.
From the lone cubicle right next to him. A man spit out his drink. Izuku turned beet red.
A tall man rose to peek over his booth and smiled sweetly at his son. "Izu, dear. Before I give you a condom, you might want to introduce me to your friend."
Mina squinted at the man. She could be hallucinating but that is definitely a Greek god. The man's cheekbones were high and sculpted. Heck, everything about the man was sculpted. She looked at his upper body. Seeing traces of muscles peeking out. His curls were pulled back into a bun. God, this man is a meal.
Izuku cleared his throat, looking at the squinting girl. "Mina-chan." He said and looked at her with an unreadable expression. The girl looked at her friend.
"Please stop checking out my dad." He pleaded, "He just asked if I wanted a condom and you're just checking him out." He said, exasperated.
The girl her eyes widened and slowly sat back in her seat. With a click of a button she let the window go up at the same pace.
Once it was completely up, Izuku and Hisashi made eye contact and promptly started to burst out laughing.
Mina had questioned him about growing up in America. Izuku replied by saying that he basically spent his whole youth either going to the gym or middle school. He didn't like middle school that much, and once he started going to events such as the Winter Cup he stopped going to school and switched over to online. Which he did enjoy more.
Mina then talked about her childhood in Japan. By saying that she was basically everywhere after moving to another prefecture. She could've been spotted at any playground at any time. In her free time she also goes out exploring and finding hike paths.
They had talked about the amount of followers they both got after going to the (Youth) Olympics. Izuku's journey to being verified and getting an interview at Vogue, somehow. But he isn't about to complain, so he just accepted it with open arms. He did get teased about the hashtag revolving around him, Ei and Melissa. Mina even went ahead to show her favorite edit of the three. It was clear to say that Izuku turned red.
Izuku then talked about Mina and her performance. Which basically meant that he was geeking out at his friend.
After those chats the two decided it might be time to sleep. Since basically everyone was sleeping around them.
They didn't have much time to talk about anything the morning after, between eating and mostly Izuku talking with his dad (it was fun to whisper and look at a flustered Mina.). They were due to land either way.
It seems like Mina doesn't really like the feeling of a landing plane. Izuku couldn't really blame her.
After a few people clapped, and a quiet few cringe of the atrocity they're hearing. Izuku stepped out of his stupor and grabbed all of his stuff before just throwing it in his bags. It'd be fine unless some papers fold.
Walking through the fancy passenger pathway so they can walk into the bright morning of Tokyo. The four of them (her coach was in economy class) went ahead to grab their luggage off of the band and made their way out.
His father was calling someone and telling them their location.
Izuku kept it at small talk, until he nearly stopped in his path because he totally forgot about it. Not really noticing his father calling someone and telling their location.
"Mina-chan." She turned to him with a smile on her face.
"Yes, Izu-kun."
"Where do you actually live?"
"Well I live in Musut-"
She got interrupted.
By a familiar angry explosive pomeranian.
"Oi, Izu! She lives on the other side of town." Bakugo Katsuki called out, but the blonde is otherwise known as-
"Kacchan!" Izuku shouted and launched himself at the guy.
Mina stifled a laugh once she heard the nickname, "Oh this cannot be happening." She wheezed out.
[The rest is spoken in Japanese]
The girl held up her phone as she recorded a wild Izuku petting 'Kacchans' spiky hair. The green-haired boy was basically teasing the blonde about being an inch taller. Izuku's body then became stiff as he saw a horde of people walk over, trying to be subtle.
"Mina, the press."
Said girl just looked at the boy, confused.
That boy looked back at her with a desperate face. "We need to go. Like now, Kacchan, do you have the stuff I asked for?"
Bakugo took the cap off of his carabiner and threw it at Izuku, along with the sunglasses that rested on top of his head. Izuku nodded at him, thankful and looked at his dad. Since he is no longer active in the Olympics, he doesn't get anything like this, anymore. The man just whistled and looked away, whilst Mina's coach just looked at her in sympathy.
"Since I'm not the main attraction anymore," Izuku said as he put the sunglasses and cap on. Basically making an effective cover up already. "A few tips, don't answer unless you're uncomfortable. Keep breathing, keep your words in mind. Good luck." Izuku was about to walk away.
But Mina once again grabbed him by the arm and pulled him down to put a kiss on her cheek. "For good luck." She said as she smiled at him.
Izuku turned beet red, "We'll link up later!" He said as he turned to the snickering Katsuki. "I think Kacchan has your number? We can hang out while I'm still in Japan." He said and slowly inched away.
Mina looked like she was about to say something. Whatever she was about to say, she did not have the chance as the vultures surrounded her. Picking every chance to talk about her time in Senegal and the silver medal she had won. They even started questioning the jacket that didn't fit the rest of her tracksuit.
"My cue to leave." Izuku eeped and walked out of the airport with Kacchan, Hisashi following after the two.
Izuku, Hisashi, Katsuki and Masaru sat in the car, how much bickering can they handle?
Answer is, a lot.
"How come you didn't tell me you had a friend at the Olympics!" Izuku asked exasperated.
Katsuki huffed and folded his arms, "I didn't think it was relevant." The guy then snarled at Izuku. "How come you didn't tell me about fucking Riot being your roommate!"
They could hear a 'language' scold coming out of the two fathers.
"Fuck that!" Katsuki talked back.
"How was I supposed to know you're interested in him!"
"You have literally known me since I was a kid!" Bakugo retorted.
"Yeah, as if that helps!" Izuku poked his shoulder, "So, what's Mina like outside of the sports stuff and all."
"Energetic, easygoing, cheerful and social." He grunted.
"You guys hang out in group formats?"
"With a whole other bunch of extraverts."
Izuku laughed, "You got adopted!"
Masaru laughed from behind the wheel, "They're very nice as well. It's always entertaining when they join for game night."
Izuku grinned at Bakugo, "When is the next game night?"
The boy gave him a stink eye, "Are you sure? You gonna take me frie-"
The boy laughed, drink in his hand. It's just soda, no worries. "So, then I was all like, Kacchan! You can't call others extra." He said loud enough over the music.
Kaminari spit out his drink, "Wait, Kacchan?" The boy looked at the blonde and bursted out laughing. "Yeah, Kach-chan. You can't call others extra's!" He repeated and got the giggles.
Izuku laughed and checked his phone and then grinned. It's currently 7 pm.
ManlyMan: ur post said that ur Japan right? Wanna have a movie night? Absolutely bored out fo my mind! I will take the shinkansen.
With a grin, he looked at Bakugo, "Hey, Kacchan~, can I invite a friend?"
The guy squinted, "I'm not the host. Ask Sero-kun." He said.
Izuku gave the blonde a thumbs up and made way to said guy. He was outside on his porch, talking with a few people.
"Hey, Sero-san!" He greeted and held up his phone, "Is it possible to invite a friend of mine!" He wiggled his eyesbrows, "I know you'd like to see how it's Bakugo-kun's turn to gay panic."
The guy let a feral grin show. "Oh fuck yeah dude. You have the address?"
"Sending it to him now!" He said and texted Kirishima. "Question though." He opened his mouth but got interrupted by an excited squeal.
"Sero-kun and greeny!" A familiar voice shouted.
A mixed shout of "Mina!" and "Pinky!" was heard. Sero was the first one to get hugged, Izuku felt just a tad jealous. He did give a small wave to the other two people that walked behind the energetic gymnast.
Before Izuku could get a hug he looked over at her outfit, "You look good Mina-chan!" He complimented.
The girl smiled and punched his shoulder before giving him a hug.
Sero then looked at the two confused, "How are you two friends? Like, aren't you from America?"
Izuku looked at Sero and then back at Mina. He then groaned loudly after their quiet eye contact. "Did Kacchan not tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
Mina poked Izuku's biceps, "This guy here is famous! He won gold in the horizontal bar and silver in the competitive swimming tourney."
"Oh."
Izuku just smiled, "Izuku Midoriya, gymnast, swimmer and professional fainter."
"Nah, you're capping. Unless you can, like, show me proof." Sero said skeptically.
"Izukun!" A shout was heard.
Izuku dropped down once he felt a guy throw himself at him. "Why didn't you tell me you were flying to Japan!" The guy complained, "We could've gone on the flight together!"
Mina tapped her foot on the ground, "He's my flight buddy!"
"Mon ami! It was the only thing she could talk about after the press!"
Izuku grinned as he looked at Kirishima, "Oh yeah, I left her to the vultures. She has never been interviewed before." Sero just watched the three interact with wide eyes.
"That's not manly, Izubro." Riot said as he clashed his two fists together. He looked down at the guy and laughed, "I thought you were the sturdier Izu! Normally you would've been able to catch me!" Kirishima quickly got off of him after and held a hand out for the green-haired boy.
"T-That's Riot!" Sero stuttered out.
The boxer perked up and smiled, holding a hand out. "That's me! Eijirou Kirishima!"
Sero shook his hand and just kept looking at him with wide eyes. He then looked over to Izuku, "Yeah bro, enough proof." He then smiled at Kirishima, "Good job at gold."
Izuku laughed but soon felt that he was being tugged away. "Ei! Find me later!"
"Will do Midobro!" He shouted back with a hand over his heart, "What a manly guy!" He said and turned back to Sero.
–
"You left me with the vultures!" Mina complained.
Izuku rubbed the back of his neck and smiled at her, innocently. "It would've been your first interview!" He said, "They're good PR."
"Sounds like you have experience."
"I always get hoarded by them." He shrugged and smiled at her, "Rob is one of the only ones who gets a proper interview."
"Proper interview?" Mina talked a bit louder now.
"Yeah! I mostly answer with something totally unrelated!" Izuku shook his head and chuckled, "He's my first ever interviewer!"
She just chuckled, "You're very loyal to your fans, Green."
Izuku smiled at her, "I don't see a reason not to."
Pinky just huffed and grinned at him. "You're a very good celebrity."
"I wouldn't call myself a celebrity."
A snort was heard next to them, "Not yet." A rough voice jeered. The next second Izuku had a punch to the shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me Kirishima is here."
"Thought it'd be a lovely surprise for you, Kacchan."
Mina snorted, "You know that your crush-"
"Manly crush." Izuku snorted.
"I'm going to beat you up tomorrow." Katsuki snarled. Mina and Izuku raised their eyebrows and just looked at him. Breaking the silence, Izuku asks, "Why tomorrow?"
After a pause, Katsuki's face turned into a sneer, maybe a slight blush. "Because Ei wouldn't think that it's manly to beat someone up unethically."
Izuku just bit his lip and clenched his jaw. "...Right."
"FUCK."
–
The bass vibrates through everyone's body. Alcohol in their blood and bodies close to one another. Dancing and swaying. Izuku bopped his head to the EDM song and Ei stood next to him, just shaking his head left and right.
Izuku then shouted, "You should gel your hair! Make your boxing opponent look out to not get stabbed by it!"
Ei's eyes widened, "Dye my hair red? Ok!"
The green haired boy just squinted his eyes and didn't bother to argue. 'He definitely did not misheard me.'
Then, the song changes.
The gymnast opened his mouth and grinned, "Oh fuck yeah!" He pumped his fist in the air and swayed his hips in practice motions. "I love latin music." He shouted.
Ei just stood there, wide eyes at the ground. "How do I dance?" He said, with panicking eyes.
"Oi!" A voice cut in and shook the boxer's shoulders. "I'll lead!" The blonde said, and grinned at him. "Just footwork closer to the ground, and take my hand."
Kirishima looked up at him with a 'you're my savior' expression and took his hands. "What now?"
Izuku nodded, impressed. "Now we dance!" Another voice cut in and the green-haired boy felt himself being swept away. "Can't have you dancing to a two person dance, can we, Greeny?"
The boy grinned down at the short girl, "No we can't." Grabbing her by the hips he felt a leg press against his inner thigh. With a raised eyebrow, he raised his hand to her back. The other hand onto her toned arm.
Green eyes on gold eyes, step and step. Alcohol tainted breaths in each other's faces and back arch, followed by close skin contact. After spinning Mina around he put her hand on the back of his neck as he let his hand go down from her back to the top of her tailbone.
Mina smiled at him, Izuku couldn't help but smile back. After preparing for another twirl, Mina kissed his cheek before getting passed off to Sero. Who just gave him a thumbs up, not sparing any moment. A flamboyant boy dropped into his arms.
"Bonjour, mon ami!" He said and put his hands on Izuku's shoulder. "Or should I say, mi amigo!"
"Vamos a bailar!" Izuku shouted back and just danced with him. Feeling a little breathless from his previous dance.
–
After finishing another drink, he was approached. A hand on his shoulder, "Yo! Izu, they're playing games in the basement." Izuku turned around to face Sero. He smiled and nodded, "Be down in a minute." He said with a thumbs up.
After taking some drinks in his hands he danced through the crowd and down the stairs. "Who's all here?" he asked, curious.
Bakugo just rolled his eyes and sneered at him. "Look around, smartass."
Unimpressed, Izuku raised his eyebrow at him. "In fact, I am a smartass.". A soft hand covered his eyes. Familiar body heat pressed against his back.
"Guess who?" The voice he's been wanting to hear all night whispered into his ears.
The gymnast just grinned and wrapped his rough hands around hers and brought her palm down to his lips. "I can guess." He whispered and kissed the soft palm.
"Oh my god." Kirishima whispered as he made eye contact with Bakugo. "Four drink Midoriya." They whispered in sync. Slowly the duo moved towards the green haired flirt. Subtly taking the drinks out of his hands and pushing him a bit to the side of the stairs. Since Mina is just standing on it, leaning down on the gymnast.
The dancer just blinked and blushed. Izuku just smiled up at her and squeezed the wrapped around hand. Rubbing his thumb over her wrist. He looked up and said, "J'aime tes yeux, j'aime tes mains, j'aime ta bouche." He bit the inside of his cheek and moved his hands, pressing a thumb against her lips. "Particulièrement les lèvres.".
The pink-haired girl just looked down at his lips and gulped. "You speak french." she said hoarsely.
A clap got them out of their trance.
"Let's start with beer pong!" Sero cheered. Izuku winked at her before sliding over to Ei and Kacchan.
The blonde guy who he danced with early just stood next to Mina, "Mari idéal." He whispered. The girl just nodded. "You saw that too, right?"
"Wished I was you every second." The flamboyant boy whispered back and nodded.
–
Izuku blinked. First he was throwing a ball and now he sat on the ground without a shirt. The bottle spinned as it landed on him. He cocked his head at the person who spinned it. He can vaguely remember the name being, Denki?
"Seven minutes in heaven with the next person, of preferred sex though!"
"That's a big word, when did you learn that?" Sero teased.
Kaminari smiled, geniusly. "Just now!" he clapped his hands, "C'mon! Spin the bottle!"
Shrugging at Kirishima who was just looking at him blankly. He reached over and spinned the bottle. Spinning, spinning and spinning..It landed on a..
Green haired girl.
"Momma got the big hunk." She said and licked her pointy teeth.
Izuku blinked at the girl next to Tokage. He was a bit confused when Mina avoided eye contact. The next moment he was being pulled into the closet.
"I'm Setsuna Tokage."
"Izuku Midoriya."
"I know."
"How do you know?"
"I've watched the Olympics." She said and cold hands were pressed against his chest. "Way better with your shirt off." She whispered.
"Seven minutes right?" He asked and leaned down a bit.
With a toothy smile, Tokage nodded, "Seven minutes." She closed the gap and pressed her lips against his.
–
"Seven minutes are up!" Denki shouted and opened the door. Revealing a panting Tokage and a shrugging Izuku.
Sitting back down in the circle he let his eyes wander the faces. Some were approving and others were just in disbelief. Ei just threw his shirt. Putting it on he looked at him in confusion.
"Scratches." He whispered back.
"Oh."
Taking a few sips he noticed a face that he indeed was missing. "Where's Mina?"
"She went upstairs. I think she's dancing."
Izuku nodded and stood up. A hand grabbed his wrist. "We're leaving after whatever you're done doing." Bakugo said, an expression on his face which his childhood friend could only decipher as faint anger.
A tad confused, Izuku muttered a 'yes' and walked up the stairs. The crowd thickened then when he first came downstairs. He pushed himself through the crowd and stopped when he laid his eyes upon them.
Pinky dancing with a handsome yet expressionless boy. He gulped when he saw where both their hands were placed. Slow dancing in a room while pop music is being played, while he was just standing in the corner, looking for her.
His eyes were casted downwards, pushing a gnarly feeling down. A hand on his shoulder, revealing Ei holding a drink. "Let's go home buddy."
"Let's." He said and looked up to glance at Mina again. Only to see her looking at him, subtly. Or well, tried to.
He smiled and waved before making his way outside, right behind his best friends. "You're coming home with us, Ei?"
The boxer nodded. "Yeah."
Izuku smiled. "Cool."
–
He woke up that morning with the biggest hangover he has ever had. He isn't much of a drinker, or a party person. He gulped and walked downstairs into the Bakugo's kitchen. Smiling and saying 'good morning' as he grudgingly sat down.
Pancakes were placed in front of him.
He tilted his head, "What's the occasion?"
His father just looked at him confused, and the Bakugo's just snickered in amusement. "Your birthday buddy."
"Oh." He said.
Eijiro soon entered the room, followed by Katsuki. "Happy birthday, besto friendo!" He said cheerfully.
Kacchan just grunted and sat down. Sliding over a small box. "Happy birthday, Izu."
The now 17-year old smiled at the whole group. "Thank you." He then sheepishly looked at his dad. "Do we have to run today?"
"Yes."
"I'll join!" Kirishima offered. "Bakugo will too!"
"Eh?"
"You're a model. You have to keep up your physique."
"No I'm a fashion student!"
Izuku observed the two, "You have to be hot to be a fashion student! Why not future in your parents fashion week?" Kirishima retorted.
The green haired boy sniffled a laugh when he saw Bakugo's neck turn red.
