Good-Bye!
Keira watched as everybody celebrated the defeat of Errol and the Dark Makers. Everybody was happy, except for her. She looked over towards the red headed governor and the blonde hero or Giai, they were talking at the moment, but moments before they had been kissing. She hated him, but mostly hated Ashelin Praxis. It should've been her that he was talking to. It should've been her that he kissed, but instead, it was that slut...Ashelin Praxis. She then looked down and saw a pistol laying on the ground. She growled. Looking at it, then at Ashelin. She could invision herself killing her, but she couldn't.
Today I say good-bye,
To the years that have gone by.
I say good-bye to even you,
Though you've never been true.
Picking up the pistol she left the party. There was nothing here that she needed or even wanted anymore. She felt alone in this world. She had never been loved or even kissed by a man. She never even dated. What kind of a man would want her? She wasn't beautiful or even pretty. She wasn't smart like worldly smart, just mechanical smart. So what kind of a man, in his right mind, would want her? Obviously not Jak, who was the hero of Giai. So no man would want her either. She still lived with her, overbearing, overprotected, father, who didn't even realize that his own daughter usually got hurt by his mean words.
I don't know when I'll be back or even if I will,
But remember this, I love you still,
Even after you broke my will.
I love you forever.
As she entered Haven Forest she felt more relaxed than ever before. She wasn't sure why either, but it made her feel good. As she came to the forest lake and followed the river, she looked around herself. Nobody could stop her from doing what she'd wanted to do since she first got to this world.
As I walk by this river,
I look into the sky,
I begin to cry.
Memories of what was,
Has me wanting to die.
Keira pulled out the pistol from her bag. All she could feel was pain and she wanted it to all end, here and now. As she put the barrel of the gun to her head, tears began to run freely down her cheeks.
"Good-bye." she whispered into the morning air.
A shot is then heard,
Even by the smallest bird,
But you did not.
So I say Good-bye,
As I welcome the darkness.
Blood poured out from the side of her head, staining both the ground and her clothes. Keira Hagai was dead and there had been nobody there to help her or stop her. Even after she had taken her life, nobody even bothered to notice that she was missing...until it was too late.
M-Angel: Wow, that turned out better than I had thought. I'd like to dedicate this story to my good friend, who I will not name...
So what'd you all think?
Fact
Hundred of people take their own lives every year. It doesn't matter their age. There are signs that show before they commit suicide. Most have been or are in a serious depression. Before they do commit suicide they do have thought about it and sometimes even tell their friends. So be watchful and patient and if you do know somebody who may kill themselves...Stop them and get 'em the help they need.
