This has potential and I want to see it rise. This story will be similar just for the first two chapters only because they were banger chapters and when we hit the third you will see me take the story from there. Alright peace out. Also don't worry I am not going to spread myself thin. I am only doing two stories.
I also want to say that I am going to explore certain themes in this story, mental health being one of them especially those that come from heroes.
Chapter Prologue: The Angel
"What can you tell me about him?" A reporter asked the question as he looked at the man in front of him, he had his note pad in hand and an audio recorder on the table. This was person was just one of man that he is interviewing, he still has some interviews planned this week including one with him. All of the responses to the question were different and he made sure to take note of that.
"He was different."
"He was strong."
"He was fearless."
"Weird."
"Scary."
"Powerful."
"Reckless."
"A good student."
"He's my brother."
"He's my son."
"You never knew with the guy. Some days it would be good and the next it would be…him."
"Was there anyone that could get to him? Calm him down or even listen to." The reporter asked the men and women that he interviewed individually. All of them had the same answer.
"A couple, his mom got through sometimes, but it was really her. She got through the most."
"Her."
"She could keep a leash on him in a manner of speaking."
"She was the only one that could bring him back."
"My sister could for the longest, but not like her? She was different from us."
"She brought the best out of both of them."
"Can you tell me what your relationship is with Izuku Midoriya?" A woman with blonde hair looked at the man conducting the interview with a blank look on her face. The woman stared at him with her blue eyes, but soon turned them to the window to look at the blue sky that was filled with white clouds, but those white clouds had some gray in them. The weather forecast predicted that it might rain. Still looking at the clouds the woman began to answer the simple yet very hard question.
"Thank you for joining me today." A man with white wings walked into the room, where he saw a couch. The man nodded his head and took a seat on the open couch while the other man took a seat on his chair.
"Again thank you, I know you are a busy man and you have taken time out of your day to do this." The man seated nodded his head with a smile as he finally spoke.
"I assume that you got everyone done before coming to me." The man that was going to conduct the interview nodded their head as well.
"Yes, everyone that I needed and wanted to speak too has been recorded. There are some that still remain anonymous for obvious reasons being related to your past, but they gave enough details. All that is left is for you to tell me your story." The man nodded his head and leaned back on the couch.
"You want to know everything, huh? Even the not so pleasant details."
"I will sit here while you do most of the talking, but I will ask a question here and there. As for the details of your story, well that is up to you." Izuku thought about it, he didn't think long and hard and made a decision fairly quickly.
"I'll tell you."
"Good, now where do we begin?" Izuku looked up at the gray colored ceiling and began to recall where it all began. He knows for certain that he will never forget that day and the days on, it was all ingrained in his body physically and mentally.
"It all started on the day. The day I entered hell for the first time."
Somewhere in the world (Many, many years ago)
He doesn't know he got here, he doesn't remember anything. All he remembers is waking inside a large container filled with other children such as himself. All of them were scared, they were crying, sobbing, and quivering in fear. He was no better, he wished for his mommy to be here with him, but she was not. He doesn't even know where she is.
He looked around the steel container to see the children that were around his age, some looked to be even older than him. As for what age he could not tell. All he really knew is that they were in for something bad.
His name is Izuku, Izuku Midoriya and he has a quirk. A quirk is what is known as someone who has powers, Izuku is powers that involve the small wings on his back. Two white wings filled with feathers, they looked like they belonged on an angel and right now an angel is what Izuku could want. He was terrified, scared beyond belief, and more than anything he wanted his mother.
The container that he was in was dark, cold, and he was alone...or so he thought. One saw that Izuku was cold and tossed him a blanket. It was nothing much, but something is better than nothing right now. Izuku felt the blanket land on him and looked up at his savior. It was an older looking girl that had black hair, she smiled down at him and the teen nodded his head. He wasn't sure if any of these kids could speak his language, they all looked like they came from different parts of the world judging from their skin color and their own native language.
The crying and sobbing soon came to a stop when they all felt the movement stopped. Where they were being taken to they had finally arrived. The older girl with red hair came to Izuku and wrapped him in a hug. It was very protective, almost similar to what a big sister would do to their little brother.
Izuku leaned into the hug, even though he did not know this girl he could feel and see that she was looking out for him. "Iz...Izuku." Izuku said his name aloud in his native tongue which is Japanese, the girl looked down at him and saw his scared green eyes. She smiled warmly and told him her name.
"Lau...ra." Izuku could not really understand the language, but he could hear the name. It was Laura. Laura was her name and now he knew it, and he will not forget for the moment of truth had arrived. The children all tensed as they heard the locks on the container start to be removed, they could hear the sounds of people outside the container. Someone was outside giving orders and commanding others.
The next thing the children knew is that the doors opened and they were all met with a bright white light. It was not the sun for there was no warmth to the light, they felt no warmth on their skin. All they felt was the cold air of the night and the fear running through their body. Izuku's eyes burned from the sudden light and he covered his eyes with his hands, but it was not long before he heard the screams of the children.
The vision returned to Izuku and he saw what was happening next. He saw many men in black outfits with guns in their hands. Even as a child Izuku knew what a gun was from the cartoons that he watched with heroes in it. This was a real gun and this wasn't a cartoon, this was real, very real.
The children screamed in pure terror as the men came into the container and took them out. They forcefully grabbed their arms and tossed them, bringing them out in the cold air. Izuku held onto Laura tighter as if his life depended on it as another one of the soldiers came to them now. Laura glared up at the soldier, but it was a mistake for she was smacked to the ground leaving Izuku unprotected.
Izuku screamed when he saw it and went to help her, but it was hopeless as the man grabbed the back of his shirt and just threw him outside like he was a ball. Izuku landed on the ground with some scraps on his skin. He was freezing from the chilly wind that was blowing, but looked around at his setting. Where was they take him? He couldn't answer that question even if wanted to, but it seemed like he was in a harbor of some kind. There were boats and ships everywhere, and now in front of him were large trucks.
The frightened child truly had no clue what was going or what was happening, but he didn't have time to reach as something pierced his neck. A sharp needle stabbed Izuku in the neck and before he realized something inside of the needle was injected inside of him and soon whatever was inside of the needle made Izuku feel very tired. His eyes closed and the boy fell to the ground, but not before seeing a man in some kind of lab coat giving orders to the soldiers around.
With Izuku unconscious he didn't see the others children around him getting injected with the same chemicals that made him fall asleep, some were injected via a needle and others were shot with some kind of blow dart from the guns they wielded. Either way the outcome was the same for all the children, when they were on the ground and moving the soldiers began to move them into trucks.
The man in the lab coat watched it all with a smile on his face, soon his plan for his master would begin and a new breed of living weapons would be given to him. Weapons designed to do one thing and that is kill.
A Few Hours Later
Izuku awoke, his eyes slowly started to open and his body tried to stir. Tried being the operative word because he was tied to the bed that he was lying in. His wings were strapped down as well, he couldn't move them at all. When Izuku realized his predicament the young boy looked around to see where he was and he could see that he was longer in the harbor. He was no longer outside with a cold breeze attacking his air, but now inside a frozen and unforgiven lab that was riddled with sharp objects and needles. Izuku's heart started to race faster and faster, but it came to a stop when he heard a familiar voice.
"Ah, I see that you are awake." Izuku turned his head to the door to a bald doctor with glasses and a big and bushy mustache on his lips. The doctor was short in stature and began to walk over to the desk holding a brown file in his hand.
"P-P-Please, let me go." The doctor ignored Izuku's pleas and just hummed a warm tone from a song that he heard on the radio. Izuku could not believe it and began to lose hope more and more.
The doctor opened the file and read through it, it contained much information on the patient lying on his operating table. The more he read through the more he hoped that this one would pass. The doctor took a look at the wings of Izuku, he smiled when he saw them. He could do something with those as well. Yes, he has a project that he has been working on and the child's wings would make a great test for it.
"Ok, that is enough reading. I have gathered everything that I need to know about you, Izuku." Hearing his name called by this sick doctor made Izuku's skin crawl, it was like he was nothing but a lab rat to this man.
"Ah, before we even begin it would be rude of me not to introduce myself to you. My name is Ujiko, but you can call me Mr. Sinister. I will be your doctor from here on out Izuku."
"Why...Why are you doing this? What have I done to you to deserve this?" Izuku had to ask, this was his life being played with right now. He had to know what he did to someone to deserve what is about to happen to him now. The tears were pouring down his eyes as he saw the doctor turn his eyes to the teary eyed child. The doctor gave him an answer and it was a stone cold answer that shattered Izuku's world.
"Nothing." Izuku widened his eyes when heard that, but that doctor was not done yet. "You did nothing to end up on that table and if it wasn't you it would be another child. The fact of the matter is that you are here now and you will be part of my experiment to make a new breed of powerful weapons for my master." Ujiko pulled the gloves on his hand, they were pure white, but the white would not last long for they would be stained with red blood of this innocent child.
"I-I- I don't want this, please!" Izuku's pleas and begging only made him smile like the crazy scientist that he was, it seemed that he got off seeing the terror of the child.
"Don't fret my child, when this is over and if you survive then you will be stronger than you could've ever imagined for I Izuku am going to make you the first of many soldiers that stand above anything that the world will put against you. So sleep, child. And when you awake you will be my master's Archangel." The doctor grabbed the gas mask and moved it over to Izuku's face. The child fought with everything that he had to get away, but the restraints were too tight, there was nothing that could do.
When the mask landed upon his face it was not long before he felt the gas and then it didn't take long for his eyes to start to close, his eyes still on the smile of the sick doctor that now had a scalpel in hand. Izuku had only thought of one last person before the sleep had taken him. He thought of his mother and how he doesn't know if she is alive, he wonders if she knows what happened to him.
Oh, how Izuku wanted to see her again, but unknown to the teen he will. He will see his mother again, but not as the same person that he was when he was taken from her. No, he will be much different. He will not be the same ever again, but forever changed. He will be a soldier bent on completing the mission and is one that always completes that task given to him. When Izuku awakes from the slumber he will no longer be Izuku, but the cold heater machine known as Archangel
11 Years Later
*Ding Dong* The doorbell had rung and one Inko Midoriya had gotten up to answer it. It was taking her some time to reach the door since she now walks with a limb, everything in her life changed that day 11 years ago when she took her son to the doctors. She had taken him to find out what quirk her son would have, she of course knew it had something to do with the angel wings on his back, but she still took him to see if there was anything else.
She still remembers how ecstatic her child was when the wings first developed, they just sprouted out of back one day. The smile that was on his face never left her mind, it will never leave her. On the way home when things changed, it was at a turned green light when she was hit by a van. The van totaled her car and nearly killed her and her baby boy, but thanked god he was safe in his car seat.
It was at the moment when she realized that she was trapped and could not move, she heard footsteps and called out to them for help to save her son, but it was her son that they were after all. The men came, but they did not come to rescue, they came to steal. They stole her son from her right in front of her eyes, he was ripped out of his car seat and there was nothing that Inko could do.
Inko wailed louder than she ever had for someone to save her and her Izuku, but no one came because it was too late. Izuku was gone. A hero by the name of Midnight soon came and got her out, she was then taken to the hospital, but the whole way Inko cried. She told the hero her son was taken and Midnight had gotten back to the scene to track the van, but it was to no avail. It was gone completely and so was her son.
Inko had waited and waited for the heroes to give her any news on her missing boy, it turned out to be nothing. Izuku was truly gone, days had turned into weeks, weeks had turned into months, and months had turned into years. Eleven years in total, that is how long it's been since she had seen her son. The poor mother had nearly drowned herself in food, bloating up to a great deal and losing the slim figure she once had.
*Ding Dong*
"I'm coming." Inko called out as the doorbell rang for a second time, she didn't get a guest unless it was from the heroes that were searching for her son. Midnight or Nemuri Kayama are nice enough to stop by, but she can't comfort the loss of Izuku. The woman had lost her husband and now she has lost her son. Now she just lives alone in her small apartment, nothing has changed in it. She kept it all the same in the hope that Izuku would be found and he would see that his room had not changed one bit.
Inko had reached the door, she put her hand to the knob and opened it. When she did open it she got the shock of her lifetime as the person in front of her was the boy that she never thought she would see again. Izuku was in front of her, but he was taller. Her son was towering over her in height and was wearing some kind of costume, but none of that mattered to her for she was looking at her child.
"Izuku!" Inko screamed out his name and brought him for a hug, but for some reason her son did hug back. She also felt something strange with her hands when they reached his back, she felt something metallic where his wings were supposed to be. Inko was so caught up in her high of seeing her returned son after that she didn't realize how off he was. By the time she did it was too late.
"Izuku, what's wrong?" Inko asked her son curious and with worry as she now looked at him, she saw his cold green slitted eyes that were filled with zero emotion. It was almost like he didn't recognize her at all. She knows that it has been eleven years, but somewhere deep down in Izuku he must see that this was his mother. Inko was wrong though, deep down in Izuku laid a creature that is bent on destruction.
Izuku brought his hands up to his mother's face and had both of his gloved hands on her cheeks. "Izuku-*Snap*" Inko didn't get to finish the sentence because the unthinkable and unimaginable happened. Izuku killed his mother by simply snapped her neck with a simple twist and with that motion done with, Izuku let go of his now dead mother's head and watched as she just fell to the ground.
The cold machine that was once Izuku looked down at his mother, just staring at her like he almost felt something, but he didn't. He felt nothing at all except the feeling of his first successful mission being completed. Izuku released a sigh and turned around to leave the apartment, leaving his dead mother on the ground with her eyes wide open in shock. He didn't even close them.
"Mission completed, target terminated." Izuku spoke aloud to the earpiece that was in his left ear. Killing his mother was nothing but a mission and he completed it with extreme prejudice.
"Excellent work Archangel, return to base for your next assignment."
"Understood." Izuku turned back around to look at the motionless woman and then turned back around walking out the door. When he got outside the wings that he had opened and stretched themselves out.
No longer were they white or filled feathers that gave a soft and gentle look. No longer were they the angelic wings that he was born with, but now changed. Now the wings were silver in color, metallic, the feathers replaced with cold steel. Izuku was now changed forever, his body no longer what it once was. No longer was he the angel, but now…the Archangel.
Izuku took flight, exploding from the ground in a great burst of speed soaring through the sky like a jet. Forever changed, forever strong, forever the Archangel.
Chapter 1: Archangel
One Year Later
Nemurai Kayama aka The Rated R Hero: Midnight was not having a good day, she hasn't been having a few good years. It all started for her when she came upon a bad accident involving a mother and at the same time a kidnapping. The hero was able to save the mother, but the child was lost to her.
Nemuri had spent years, a decade even searching for the missing boy, but there was nothing that she could find. She had called in the assistance of some of his friends such as Present Mic, Eraserhead, and even her old teacher and mentor in Nezu, but much like him all of them had gotten nowhere. It got to the point where many were starting to wonder if Izuku was even alive.
The hero still did not give up hope, she reached out to all of his CI's hoping that one of them might have heard something, anything on the location of Izuku. Even a rumor would do for a good enough lead, but again he came up with anything. Izuku was lost to them and to make matters worse his mother Inko Midoriya had been killed as well.
She came upon her dead body when he went to visit her, the door was unlocked and when he opened it she saw her dead body. The neck was snapped making it a quick kill, but the strange thing is that no one had heard or saw anyone entering the apartment. Nemuri checked the CTV system and found nothing, it was completely clean.
First Izuku and now Inko, that's two deaths on her hands. Two people that he failed to save, so why is she here now? Why is she in front of this grave with the name of the woman that she failed to save? Why is she in the graveyard? Is she hoping that being here and paying respect will somehow grant him forgiveness for failing to save her and Izuku? Nemuri doesn't know, but for some reason he can't bring himself to move on.
"I know I found you here." Nemuri didn't turn her head, he knew the sound of the voice and who it belonged too. The voice belonged to Eraserhead, her best friend since his days at UA. Eraserhead knew Midnight better than most, through the jokes and slutty clothing he knew that she was a good woman that always wanted to do the right thing. Ever since the death of Inko he could see that it has been eating her up inside and all she could do is bury it.
"What do you want?" Nemuri asked her friend, she didn't want to be bothered right now. Not on the one year anniversary of the death of Inko Midoriya. Today she just wanted to be left alone and not focus on no hero work at all. Unfortunately that was not going to happen, the world needs the Midnight and it is time for him to get back to work.
"We got work. Something big is going down and they want us there. Mic, Hawks, and Mirku are already at the station." Midnight raised an eyebrow when he heard those final two names. Those were some big names and whatever this mission is has to be big to bring them in.
"What's going down?" Nemuri asked the lazy and seemingly always tired hero as they both started to walk to the car.
"Something about weapons being transported into the country." Nemuri nodded his head to the lack of info, both heroes had arrived at the car and got in. Aizawa was in the driver seat while Nemuri was in the passenger seat, the sexy hero grabbed her domino mask and put it on her face just as Present Mic began to drive.
An Hour Later
Eraserhead and Midnight, now both in costume, got out of the vehicle and walked inside of the police station where they were greeted by the one who would lead this mission. "Another long day Naomasa?" Nemuri greeted the officer, Naomasa looked at the two pros and smiled. He always had long days, but this one was different.
"Never a dull moment, but unfortunately we don't have time for pleasantries. The rest are waiting in the conference room so let us move there." The two heroes begin to follow the detective to the conference where they will have a debrief of what is going on. When they arrived at the door Naomasa opened it to let Midnight and Eraserhead in, that's when they were greeted by the third member of their inner circle.
Yoo, what took you both so long. I was starting to get bored" Present Mic greeted with his usual self which made Midnight smile and Eraserhead groan. They both had gotten used to the jokes, Midnight welcomed them, but Aizawa always ignored them. In the conference with Midnight were Hawks and Mirko just like Eraserhead said, but with the two of the top heroes was a woman in a white lab coat.
The woman with long brown hair was a quivering mess as she looked at her cup of coffee, Nemuri looked to the two top heroes and sensed the mood. Something bad was definitely going down and now he was all ears as Naomasa closed the door.
"I'm glad that all you have come on such late notice and I truly thank you." Naomasa first off thanks the heroes for coming for he was going to need their strength for the coming battle.
"No problem, always happy to help the guys in blue." Hawks joked as he sat in his seat with his feet up.
"If there's action then I'm always there." The next one to speak was Mirko who had her right forearm leaned on the table, the bunny hero was itching to go out and complete the mission herself.
"Yes, but let us hope that it does not come out that way." Naomasa had a worried tone in his voice, but carried on nonetheless.
"Now, I know that you are all wondering why I have called you here at such late notice. The reason is because a dangerous weapon is being transported into the country. This woman here," Naomasa pointed to the woman in the lab coat as she just continued to look at her coffee, she was not going to speak until her time to speak came.
"This is Doctor Karin, she is the scientist that helped create these weapons and she is the one that told me that this cargo was being brought into the country today. Our job is to stop them from getting outside of the harbor." The mission seems simple enough, the heroes all nodded their heads and now Naomasa gave the floor to Karin.
"Doctor Karin, would please tell them what you told me?" Karin looked up now to see that all the heroes in the room's eyes were on her now. She took a deep breath to relax herself and got ready to speak her sins to the room. She helped create these weapons, she is responsible for hurting those children and now she must pay, but first she must save them.
"There are five in total, but the one we are going after is called Archangel." Karin was not able to speak.
"If there are five of these weapons why not go after all of them."
"Because I don't know where the rest are, but if we get one then it can give you advantage on the rest. Help you turn the tide in the coming war."
"War?" Once again Karin was stopped from explaining what was truly going on, this time it was Midnight.
"Yes, war. There is someone in the shadows, he is plotting the destruction of the hero world and has created weapons to combat you all. These weapons are called Nomu, but the five are different from the others that I have seen. They were…they were…my greed for science blinded me." *Sigh* Karin took a sigh and composed herself. She will have time to think about her sins when all of this is done, but for now she needs to focus on the task at hand.
"Archangel is being brought in from the ship and that said ship will dock in the harbor very soon. We must hurry, if released Archangel can cause heavy amounts of damage. This Nomu is powerful and must not be released by any means necessary. Once we have him I will deactivate them and then you all must move him to a secure location. I won't lie to you. I have done terrible things and the creations of those weapons are my greatest sin. I will take any punishment you give me, but help me retrieve them."
Karin finished her statement and to all the heroes it seemed like she accepted her fate. Even with her help she was not going to escape prison, Naomasa was going to throw the full book at her and more for he knows what she truly did. When Naomasa heard the full story he was appalled and disgusted, but he chose not to tell the heroes for they needed to focus on the mission now.
"Alright then, we all know the job so let's get ready."
"What are we looking at in terms of attack force? There is no doubt some people protecting these weapons are coming." Hawks was the one asked the question and Naomasa turned his eyes to the winged hero.
"Yes, there will be a sizable force protecting it. Be look out for quirked individuals, but outside of that I believe that we should be able to handle it. Now is there anything else before we leave?" The heroes were silent, but Aizawa kept his eyes on the now good doctor. He got the feeling that he wasn't being told everything, but for now he will play ball. When everything is all over and settled with is when he will get the answer that he wants.
"You good?" Aizawa turned his head to Mic and Midnight, they could feel that something was off as well and if they could that means that the two pros could as well. Aizawa just looked at the doctor once more and narrowed his eyes.
"I know that look. That is something we look up too." Nemrui whispered to the two, but Aizawa ignored her.
"Still want to play ball?" Nemuri asked him, whenever Aizawa got bad feeling it was best to listen
"Yeah, for now." Aizawa left it at that, he would not cause a scene. They needed to get ready for a mission and he needed to get ready as well. Whatever this…Archangel is, they will stop them from getting into the wrong hands, but unknown to Midnight she was about to meet the boy that he had spent 12 years searching for the first time.
Hours Later
The moon had risen and the night was here, the heroes were at the docks as they watched from a nearby rooftop building. They saw men down below with guns in their hands and a ship that was docking in the port. "Hawks, what do you see from above?" Naomasa asked into the radio and was soon met with a response by the winged hero.
"Lots of guys with guns and a beautiful full moon. You know what crate these weapons are in?" Naomasa turned to Karin for an answer and the traitorous doctor gave them an answer. She doesn't exactly know which one that he was in, but knows that they will be the one most heavily guarded.
"Look for the one with the most security." Naomasa nodded his head and spoke into the radio telling Hawks what he was just told. Aizawa meanwhile still kept his eyes on the doctor, he could see that she was hiding something in her pocket. She kept checking it when she thought no one was looking and he had enough of it.
"What are you hiding?" Aizawa demanded, he closed the distance between her and him very quickly and grabbed her right hand. Aizawa didn't bother waiting for her to answer as he started to search for her himself. He moved his hand through her pockets and like he guessed she was hiding something. He found what looked to be a vial of red liquid inside of it.
"What is this?" Aizawa's demanding and very threatening voice, the tone left the doctor with very little options as she looked at the other three heroes with the Erasure hero.
"It's something that will deactivate the weapon. Please give it to me." Karin pleaded with him and went to reach for the vials, but was stopped by Midnight who gave her a very dark smile that promised pain.
"I wouldn't do that dear." Midnight suggested, she may be a sexy hero, but she was also a dominatrix that can bring pleasure and pain to whoever she wishes. Naomasa had enough and decided to intervene now, he looked at Eraserhead and told him to hand them over to the doctor.
"Aizawa, give the syringe to the doctor. We need her to stop this thing from going live." Aizawa looked at the officer and was starting to doubt him now, but Aizawa could see that he did not like this situation as it is. Before Aizawa could respond back to Naomasa, Hawks had contacted the rest of the strike team and told them that he may have found the cargo.
"Guys, we got movement." Everyone stopped whatever was bothering them at the moment and looked to the docks. In the distraction Karin had snatched the vials from Eraserhead hands and held onto them for dear life.
Aizawa was going to say something to that, but decided to forgo it. They had bigger things to worry about now as he and everyone else see the guards below tense. Something big was going down as they saw the cargo be lifted by the crane.
The cargo was blue in color and huge, they knew that had to be on that weapon. in. All the guards had their eyes on it and it seemed to be the one that they were most careful with. The doctor swallowed a lump in her throat as she saw the cargo container be lowered to the ground.
"We need to stop him before they activate him." The doctor warned them with urgency and hearing her call the weapon a him made the heroes widen their eyes. This was the first they heard the weapon be called a person, the only one who knew was Naomasa.
"Did you call it a he? The weapon is a person?!" Mic asked with surprise and shock and the doctor nodded her head, she was not even paying attention to him as her eyes were solely on the container.
Fear was evident in her eyes. She started to sweat bullets, she knew if they activated him the heroes would not stand a chance here even with Aizawa with them he alone was powerful enough, but add his siblings then they all become an unstoppable force.
"We must act now before it's late!" Karin yelled at Naomasa and he could see that they could wait no longer. Naomasa ordered the strike and the assault finally began.
"Go in and secure the weapon." The heroes all nodded their heads for they now were about to cut loose. It was go time and Present Mic would be the one to kick the show off. The rock hero got up from his kneeling position and walked to the ledge.
"IT'S SHOWTIME!" The criminals down below heard the loud yell and turned around to see a pro on the roof, but that was not all. When Present Mic yelled showtime he fired his blast of sonic energy at the guards below. The blast hit the guards and caused them to become disoriented, some even dropped their guns because of the dizziness. Hawks took that opportunity to drop in the center of the docks.
"Sup guys." Hawks said hello and soon said goodbye as he began to spin, firing his feathers at the guards around him. The guards were hit by the red feathers, but it wasn't over for them as Mirko came crashing down to the ground with a landing from her hop, the bunny scattered the guards and sent some into the ocean.
Midnight and Eraserhead had taken Naomasa and Doctor Karin down from the roof, but were met with gunfire quickly. Naomasa took the doctor and got her to cover by using the man shipping crates around to protect themselves from gun fire.
"Midnight, want to put them to sleep for us?" Naomasa asked the sexy hero and she gave a cheshire smile that belonged rightfully on a cat.
"Your wish is my command." Midnight told the detective, she ran out of the cover and ripped a piece of her costume off to release her gas. The pink-ish gas traveled to the four armed men that were firing. They paused when they saw it and some enough when they inhaled the gas started to work its magic. Midnight's gas started to make them sleepy and it wasn't long enough before they passed out into a deep sleep.
"Nighty-night boys." Midnight complimented herself on a job well done, but the job was not done yet. There were still guards and one of the powerhouses decided to show up.
"Someone get that thing up!" A guard yelled, he looked at the one charge. Aizawa saw him as he opened his palms and red flames came out of them. Soon enough the fire user started to light up the docks with his flames. He shot at Mic first making her jump from the building and then he took shots at the flying pigeon above him.
"I'll take care of him. You both get to the container and get this guy out. If he is as dangerous as you say then we can't risk him getting up." Naomasa nodded his head and let Aizawa go first. The hero charged out of cover as the fire villain saw him, he smiled and decided to give the pro a great burn. When he fired his flames nothing came out and that made him widen his eyes, unknown to him Eraserhead had used his own quirk to shut off his power.
With the power gone Eraserhead grabbed his most powerful weapon in his scarf and launched it at the de-powered villain. The scarf wrapped itself around the villain and with a simple pull Eraserhead pulled the villain right towards him making him widen his eyes. Eraserhead decided to give the pyro maniac a rodeo, he spun him around like he was top and when Eraserhead had enough he launched him into a group of men. The fire user crashed into a group of guys, but the action did not stop.
It was happening all over, but while this was going Naomasa and Karin made a run for it. Naomasa took the lead with his police firearm in hand, he moved forward with Karin close behind him. They needed to make it the container and prevent the weapons from being released, but the guards still protecting the cargo saw them.
"They're making a break for the container!" One of them yelled just as he was being taken out by Mirko, but his sacrifice worked. The others heard him and started to aim their weapons and powers at the detective and the doctor. Naomasa saw the action come to him now and now it was up to the heroes to make sure that he and the doctor make it to the cargo in one piece.
Hawks swooped and speared one guard out of the way that was in their path. Miruko hopped in and kicked one guard into another. Present screamed, firing a wave of sonic energy that flipped a car that nearly ran over the two. Naomasa was hurt while racing, but he could not stop. He saw the villain unlocking the container and took aim with his gun. Naomasa fired it and shot him, but he only wounded him. The man was able to open the container and went inside.
"Shit!" Naomasa cursed, it was now do or die time. The detective grabbed the doctor's hand and charged for the container. He would leave the action to the heroes and while he takes care of these weapons. While running Karin grabbed the vial, she needed to inject him quickly with cure. She knew the contents inside of the vials would free him from his control, but is the only one she had. She had to make this quickly before getting captured by her former employers.
Naomasa and Karin finally made it to the container, and Naomasa went inside of it first. He went in and quickly shot the criminal inside, putting two in his back. The villain was down, but there was a problem and it was a serious one.
"Oh crap," Naomasa's tone was echoed by Karin's expression, her eyes were saucers for they were too late. The pod began activating, it was already leaking air and soon enough the lid opened revealing the person inside. When the pod lid rose they both saw the occupant inside and when Naomasa widened his eyes he recognized the teen boy now teen. That said teen snapped his eyes open and the occupants inside saw the green slitted eyes.
"Shit," Both Karin and Naomasa cursed. Naomasa raised his gun, but it was too late as for the weapon that they had come for dashed straight towards them both.
All the heroes outside had taken care of the villains that were still able to fight, all of them now being tossed on top of each other thanks to the help of Mirko. She carelessly tossed them onto each other making a small pile of human bodies.
"Is that necessary Mirko?" Aizawa asked the rabbit hero, making her smile as she tossed another body onto a growing mountain of them. All the heroes heard were groans from the beat up and defeated criminals.
"Come on, having them like this breaks the spirit." Mirko laughed as did some of the others, all of them did except for Eraserhaed who was still serious. The mission was not over yet and they found that out when they heard a loud explosion come from the container that Naomasa and Karin were in.
The heroes widened their eyes and ran to the container where they saw the down detective and doctor, both were hurt badly. "What happened to them?" Present Mic asked, but he and the rest would get their answers when they heard footsteps.
They all turned their heads to the container to see smoke coming out of its doors, the heroes all got ready for whatever was about to come out. One did come out, one that made Midnight widen her eyes and drop her jaw in shock, the whip in her hand fell out as the figure walked away from the smoke revealing more of his face.
"It can't be." Midnight whispered, making Mirko look at her in surprise, she had never seen the woman like this before. The number four rank hero in Japan turned her head back to this weapon and saw that it was a young boy, in terms of age probably around the teenage years. He had short curly green hair, his clothing consisted of all black. A black tight shirt, black pants, and black boots, but the most scary thing was not the razor sharp nails or the slitted eyes, not what made Mirko nervous was what she saw next.
Two metal wings unfolded themselves and revealed themselves to the pros, the wings had to be 16 feet in length. The pros had never seen anything like that, the wings didn't even look human with that metallic coloring. When she saw Midnight knew that this was the boy that she had been looking for years.
"Izuku," Midnight was wrong, that was not Izuku. Not anymore. That was the weapon that they have come to stop, that is the angel of destruction. The Archangel is now free and now the heroes have a fight on their hands.

Chapter 2: Archangel vs The Heroes
Author Note: That first part is something that I added. I wanted to go with interview type style for the opening before we got the details of the story. I'm not going to tell you who the characters were, but I'm pretty sure you will be able to figure out two. This story is inspired by a lot of DC's Identity Crisis (By Tom Taylor) where it showed the weaker and human side of being heroes. Mental illness is something that I am going to tackle not just with Izuku, but with other heroes. PTSD is another subject, depression, lost. Things that I feel heroes go through, but we never see it.
Izuku and Archangel are two different personalities, two different Identities much like Moon Knight. I think this interesting route that no one really takes when writing super heroes or even super hero fanfics. They are human and have human weakness such as trauma. So writing this is going to be fun and I think emotional as well.
