-Inma felt colder than ice as she woke from her small slumber. Her lips stung like a wasp's sting when she opened her eyes. She struggled a little to open them from the cold freezing her eyelids.

"So cold." She muttered as she looked around. The icy wind took her breath away everytime she breathed.

"Little man?" She almost forgot that Jack was in her satchel and realized that she layed on it all night. Her heart dropped to her stomach at the realization.

"Oh no. oh no..oh no..oh no.." Inma's worst fear came to life. Crushing her human in her sleep. Her eyes began to water as she tore her satchel open, desperately searching through it.

Where is he? Where is he? She panicked as she removed all of her belongings with her ice tipped fingers. All the food, the papers, and the book were all placed down next to her and getting covered in hail and snow. She wanted to cry but the weather was too much for her eyes to bear.

She quickly patted herself down from head to toe and noticed a bump near her stomach.

Huh? Inma thought as she began to unravel her coat, I don't remember putting anything there. She opened up her coat pocket, pulled on it and looked down to see Jack sleeping there.

Oh thank Ginortus! Inma thought a wave of relief came over here. She was so glad that Jack was safe.

"I've got to get out of here." Inma thought as she gathered her things and placed them back in the satchel.

She stood up and gathered her composure with a deep breath. It hurts to even breathe in this weather. It was that harsh. She wished she were a frost giant. This type of weather would be nothing for them.

She began to walk as the icy wind pushed against her. It sent bits of snow and frost her way that felt like tiny pokes with a needle. Her feet were freezing. What were those things that Jack mentioned? Shoes? She had to get him to make her some.

It's okay Inma thought to herself, I can do it. All strong giants can do it.

And so Inma walked as much as she could. She walked until she felt like her fingers and toes were going to fall off from frostbite. As long as she had her wits, vigor, and little man; Inma felt like she could do anything.

I'm strong. I can do this! She thought to herself as the weather began to lighten bit by bit.

I'm almost there. I can see something in the distance. Inma definitely saw a massive mountain in the distance. It looks terrifying, dark and broody. The surrounding areas were covered in spikes and boulders that could crush someone. The weather was drizzling and thundering at the same time. It was so strange. Inma heard the sound of lightning and thunder boom in the air. She looked around the area and saw something, a place of protection. There was a cave entrance halfway into the mountain.

She began to climb the trail that was marked on the map. It would just bit a while. Half an hour at most. Even though the rain made the terrain very slippery, Inma felt better here than in the snow.

She wondered why exactly it was called the "Mountain of Misery". She hadn't seen any dead bodies yet or rotten skeletons. What made this mountain so miserable in the first place? She kept walking and walking. Her feet hurt fom all the pebbles that she stepped on. On a few occasions she slipped and had to catch herself on the trail.

At one point she almost slipped and fell off the trail, falling clean off, and held on for dear life with both hands. Thankfully, she still had enough strength to pull herself up and gasped for air with her sudden dance with death. The entrance was closer and closer.

I can get to the mountain. Inma knew that with just a few more steps, she'd be in the mountain's base. She looked out at the environment beyond the mountain and everything passed the horizon looked more peaceful than her current environment.

Finally, She found the entrance and went inside.

"Hello?" Inma asked as her voice echoed inside. It looked normal enough. No dead bodies, no rotten corpses. She walked inside and sat down near the entrance as the sound of the rain outside tickled her ears.

The only thing she noticed was a black mark on one of the walls. It reminded her of a spark of lightning. An electric spark on the walls of the mountain? It was very strange to Inma. No one else should be here.

"Inma?" Jack's voice almost made Inma jump in the air from fear. She put her hand to her heart and felt it pounding from fear.

"Little man, you startled me." Inma said as she pulled her coat open and pulled him out. Jack looked around and was surprised.

"Is this that mountain place?" Jack asked as he looked around in awe of the environment.

"Yeah" Inma responded in a tired voice, "We'll find that golden goose in no time!" She said with a weak smile.

"Great!" Jack responded as he looked at Inma but felt his mood sour. She was clearly in no condition to move.

"Inma, Why don't we sit here for a minute and let you rest for a bit." Jack suggested as he sat next to Inma. Inma looked at Jack and nodded.

"I'd like that!" Inma responded as they both sat in silence with the sound of the rain outside being their only voice.
