Okay, so this is my first time posting a story on this site. I'm originally from Wattpad but then chose to broaden my horizons a bit.
To be honest, I don't know where this story will lead or many times I'm going to update this, but I guess that is up to how many people like this story. But anyway, I hope you will all enjoy it.
I DO NOT OWN STARCRAFT!!! IT BELONGS TO BLIZZARD!!! I DON'T OWN ANYTHING!!!

Before in his past life, Leon was a gamer. Not just any gamer but a hardcore gamer.
As such he has seen many games in his life. He even has seen and played his fair share of trash games, yet none, and I mean none, has he ever hated a game so much than the Otome Game his adopted sister forced him to play.
Games are supposed to be fun, but this game was...it was the opposite. Leon believes that the only person that is having fun is the creator that made it.
Seriously the person has to be either a sociopath or a sadistic bastard/bitch to make this literal hell of a game.
The plot is kind of okay, at least at the beginning but in the mid and late-game- oof! Things could take a dark turn quickly with just a few mistakes and slip-ups, which led to gruesome bad ends.
The story of the game is just ruthless, but that did not compare to the worst part of the game, the combat itself.
Leon prided himself as a master of several styles of gaming combat. He even has the trophies from the many gaming contests he won in the past to prove it. From straight-up fighting games to strategic warfare to even turn-based combat systems.
But the combat of that game was just torture for his pride and sanity. His enemies were ruthless, his characters were overwhelmingly useless, and every time he tried to beat the first sub-boss of the game, it would take him an entire hour to beat it because of how difficult it was.
It was agony, just complete and utter agony. No matter what strategy he plays, no matter how many upgrades he does, no matter how much he leveled up his characters, he was stuck in the middle portion of the game.
So he did the only thing he could do to progress...pay to win.
For him, it was the easy way out but in a game like this, there is no easy way out. There are just two outcomes, defeat and victory, and Leon was determined to achieve victory.
And so after days of nonstop gaming, he had finally done it. He had won and got the best ending, the reverse harem ending.
He had pulled out all the stops to achieve this victory and boy was it sweet...but it came with a terrible cost, and he paid with his life.
His only regret was not being able to rub it in his little adopted sister's face.
.
.
.
Then he got reincarnated. He was given a second chance in life!!!
...in the very game that had fucking killed him...as a normal boring mob character.
A purgatory where men are discriminated against, belittled, and abused while women dominated them all, and not the kinky kind.
A place where mobs like him are married off to an old lady and sent off to war to die so that their 'wife' can get the compensation money.
Added with the constant threat of Sky Pirates, rival noble houses, monsters, and a rogue country hell-bent on destroying them all.
Leon Fou Bartfort's second life is hell...
Yet the grudge he has in his heart for this game was so great that he gather his rage and courage to oppose his doomed fate as a worthless and forgettable noble son.
This wasn't a game. He wasn't some coded NPC that does whatever his program is. He is a living breathing person. One that can feel, breath, bleed, grow and flip off anyone he chooses to. He was rebelling against fate itself.
So that is why he was sailing off into the vast sky that is filled with the dangers of dangerous monsters and savage pirates on his small floating boat, to find the one thing that can help him turn his damned fate. It was risky but he was willing to do it.
He would rather die than be a part of that sick Zola's schemes. He also can't let his younger brother suffer the same fate, his older brother's instincts just would not let him.
So after countless monster encounters, barely escaping pirates, slipping out of captivity, twice, and thousands of miles of sailing, Leon had finally made it!
An Island hidden above the clouds, beyond the border that which normal floating vessels could not reach.
Thankfully he remembered how to trigger the cyclone that took him there, too bad his boat didn't make it, plus his lunch which is hidden behind a bush somewhere, but hey, the most important thing is that he made it!
Now all he has to do is enter the ancient human facility and obtain that overpowered ship-
"Wait...what?"
Leon stood still as stone, his eyes wide and filled with disbelief at what he was witnessing. He knew very well what the ruins looked like back when he was alive but instead of the old, broken down, and heavily guarded facility he expected to see, he is welcomed to a much different sight.
The old facility isn't old nor did it look like just a simple facility. What stands before him is an impregnable fortress made of neo steel and vanadium plating with two large cannon attachments at the top, all painted in bright blue and bearing an unforgettable symbol at its front.
The symbol represented the race that traveled through space, an empire that has colonized countless planets and endured the many trials of impossible odds that were stacked against them by aliens, rebellions, and the end itself. They are those that endured the unending swarm and proved themselves to the firstborn of creation. The faction that has fought side by side with the Zerg and Protoss in The End War, and won.
THE TERRAN DOMINION
Leon Fou Bartfort did not find what he was looking for...but he did find something much better!
"Th-there is no mistaking it. That is a Planetary Fortress!!!", Leon exclaimed aloud and his gamer side soon took over as he began to gush and awe at the structure.
"OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!!!", In his past life, Leon loved two things. Sci-Fi and gaming, and Starcraft have resonated with his very soul from the first moment he set his eyes on them. It had everything. Space travel, advanced weaponry, mechs, aliens, hordes of unending enemies, city-sized starships, very big guns, and a plot so great that he had fainted in utter joy when Starcraft 2 was released.
So his reaction is fairly normal for a hardcore gamer like him.
Then when the adrenaline had run its course, he finally calmed down and joy is replaced by confusion.
"Wait. How is it here? I clearly don't remember the place looking like this. Was there a Starcraft DLC that I didn't know of?"
Leon was confused, he scratched his head, trying to search through his memories to try and find what was going on here.
Then suddenly, he heard the sound of something powering up. It snapped him out of his thoughts and turned his attention towards the front door of the gigantic steel fortress.
The scanner located at the top of the door lit up before it began its purpose, casting out a green light that examined Leon from top to bottom.
Of course, he flinched at the sudden light and he covered his eyes to prevent himself from going blind.
After a couple of seconds, the light faded, and the scan was finished, letting Leon relax a bit before a synthetic voice came from the building itself.
"Scan Complete. Identity Verified. Welcome Back General Bartfort."
His jaw dropped, and he recognized that voice. It was the voice of an adjutant, the ideal artificial advisors, and assistants of every Terran base and ship.
Leon would be jumping in joy at hearing that mechanical voice...if not for the fact that the adjutant welcomed him as a General.
"Huh?"
"It has exactly been 1369 years, 6 months, 3 weeks, 5 days, 10 hours, and 39 minutes since your last visit. Would you like to hear a report on our progress so far?"
"Ugh...sure?", Leon replied, unsure of his decision but choosing to go with the flow of things.
"Please proceed inside and I shall begin my report."
The door then opened, revealing a clean and fully intact hallway that has been maintained properly.
"First order of business. Project JDG-581, code name LUXION has been completed and awaiting activation. Would you like me to activate its systems?"
Leon stayed silent as he walked inside the facility, still shocked that he is actually inside a planetary fortress with an adjutant that has his family name registered as a general.
A lot of questions festered inside his mind yet he chose to start it off with, "Can you explain to me what LUXION is?"
"Very well. In summary, Project LUXION is the Terran Dominion's 11th attempt in creating a self-sufficient and automated Behemoth Class Battlecruiser attached with the latest and most advanced AI the Dominion could provide."
"...By Behemoth Class you mean-"
"Behemoth Class Battlecruisers are more than 5 times the size of a regular Minotaur Class Battle Cruiser, are far more developed, and have immense firepower.
Leon stopped in his tracks and did not speak. The passive look on his face seemed to be permanent...until his lips began to form a wide grin.
"This is waaaay better than the original item in the game."
Time Skip
It was another normal day in the Bartfort Territory. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and Zora is nagging her ugly face-off while Leon's real parents were forced to endure it.
"It has been 2 weeks since that ungrateful brat disappeared to who knows where! Honestly, I don't know what you teach your children.", Zora nagged while Leon's father gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.
The old hag did not notice this and continued lecturing them, "Hopefully your son Colin will be more cooperative."
Barcus Fou Bartfort tightened his fists. He still hadn't lost hope in Leon coming back and he'd be damned than let his boy Colin be a part of Zola's schemes. If only he could land one punch on her smug face, just one.
Then, right before anything else could happen.
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!
A loud horn shook the entire household. Everyone had their hands over their ears to try not to have their eardrums blow up. The loud noise then disappeared as soon as it mysteriously started.
"What was that-", Before Zola could continue, the door to the room is opened by a frantic and panicking Nick, Leon's older brother.
He was clearly out of breath but his next words came as a shout, "THERE IS A MASSIVE SHIP OUTSIDE! THERE ARE ALSO A DOZEN ARMED ARMORS TOO!"
Their eyes threatened to pop out of their sockets, "WHAT!?!"
Everyone ran outside to confirm this and when they got there, they could only gawk in surprise and fear.
In front of them, a dozen mechs, unlike anything they have ever seen lined up in front of their house. Each humanoid in shape but each looked compact with wings and thrusters on its back, plus, instead of arms, they had rotating barrels of what they could only assume as cannons.
Yet the thing that shook them all to the core is the ship above them.
High above, casting its mighty shadow upon their land is the biggest ship they had ever seen in their entire lives. It was so big that it had blocked the sun. It was made entirely of metal and attached all over it are guns, lots and lots of guns.
Zola fainted on the spot, along with her spawn. While Barcus stood strong and held his family protective behind him. He knew he was outnumbered and outgunned but he was still a father, and a father protects his family no matter what.
A tense and eerie silence occupied the air. No one made a move. No one made a sound.
Then that is when they heard it.
The sound of engines screaming, a sound they could only guess came from the weirdly shaped vehicle that descended from the large ship above them. All watched with bated breath as it neared the ground. As it did, Barcus was able to notice the symbol painted on the side of the vehicle and his eyes widened when he realized what it was.
I was their family crest, the symbol of their Noble House that has endured for countless centuries. The crest that every true Bartfort wore with pride. The golden eagle. (A.k.a. The Terran Faction's Logo)
Barcus was confused, no he was beyond confused. Once he saw that symbol, he began to notice that the strange and deadly-looking armors also wore the symbol on their right shoulders. Even the giant ship above them bore the same symbol once he narrowed his eyes and focused.
"This can't be possible...", Barcus mumbled under his breath, now suddenly feeling less tense and the panic in his system being washed away by a sense of calm. He did not know why but he had a strange feeling that their unknown visitor did not mean any harm.
This isn't an invasion. It's a show of force. None of the armors had aimed their weapons at them, instead, they stood tall and proud, forming a defensive perimeter as if they were...escorts.
Well, either way. He was getting some answers because the ship had touched down on their land in front of them. The Bartfort's stared at it and it stared back at them...then its side opened up and...gold began to flow out from it like a river.
Gold in a quantity that they had never seen before in their entire lives. They are shocked, not knowing what to do...and then they heard a voice as someone stepped out of the ship and began walking towards them.
"I'M BACK!"
It was their son, the second-born child he and his real wife raised and loved. The same son that fled to find a way to escape his fate. The young man, once died, twice-born, the reincarnated hardcore gamer, the mob that will overturn the game on its heels, Leon Fou Bartfort.
"AND LOOK WHAT I BROUGHT WITH ME!", Leon declared, arms spread wide as the armors at each of his sides kneeled and bowed at the young man dressed in clothing much similar to PrinceValerian Mengsk's attire.
He smiled as he waited for his family's reactions...only to watch as they all fainted.
Leon blinked, scratching the back of his head as the excited look he had worn off, "Umm, I think I overdid it."
Then his trusty AI, LUXION who is occupying a floating orb with a release, replied, "If you would have listened to my suggestion then this wouldn't be as difficult as it is currently, Commander."
"Yeah, yeah, your right...but hey, at least I won't be married off to an old hag.", Leon said, wearing a grin with no traces of regret.
To be continued...
