1There they lay, the three Winchester boys; imp in their '67 Chevy Impala. Just then Black Betty came on the radio. All you could hear was 'Whoa black betty, bam-ba-lam, whoa black betty, bam-ba-lam' then came the rush of sirens ,and the frantic yells of the paramedics.

ON THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL...

Startled by the noise, Sam, suddenly awoke. "Where am I. What the hell happened," he started screaming. Slowly it all started coming back to him. "Oh my god," Sam whispered, devestated. "Where's my dad? Where's my brother? Are they okay?"

"Calm down. Everything will be just fine," one of the paramedics cooed. "But you need to calm down, so that we can help you. Your dad, and brother are on their way to the hospital."

"Oh god. Are they gonna be alright? Am I gonna be alright?" Sam was frantically asking. "I have to see them right now. NOW!"

"We're on our way to the hospital. We're almost there. You just have to be calm," insisted the other paramedic. "Once we get to the hospital you'll have to get checked out by a doctor. Then you can see them."

"NO! I can't wait that long," Sam was being very persistant and the paramedics were getting very annoyed. "When are we going to be there?" Sam asked trying to calm down.

"Any second now," replied the very agitated paramedic. "In fact we're pulling up to it right now."

A doctor was waiting for them at the ambulance entrance. The doctor and the paramedics started wheeling Sam's gurny towards the door. Sam couldn't resist asking the doctor, "where are they?"

"Who? The others involved in the accident?" Asked the doctor rhetorically.

"Yes. My dad, and my brother. Where are they?" He asked again even more loudly this time.

The doctor had a very nervous look on his face. "They're inside, but I don't want to talk about them right now. I have to make sure your alright," the very nervous doctor told Sam, who could tell he was hiding something.

"What are you not telling me."

"What do you mean, 'What are you not telling me'?"

"Your hiding something from me, and I want to know what it is. TELL ME!" Sam demanded.

This is what the doctor had to say , "I'm sorry to inform you that when your father arrived he was in a very critical state. I'm afraid he's not going to make it."

The whole while that the doctor was talking Sam was a go between of whispering and screaming 'no'. A tear even fell from his eye. By this point they were in the hospital and the doctor was starting to check Sam out.

"How's my brother?"
