Hey guys, this story wouldn't leave my mind at all.
This is a charmed/Supernatural crossover. I HAD to write it because I have read SO MANY good ones I thought I could make my own. This will have Adam in it as well. (The only way I could think of to make this story really fit.) This will be the first season and then if it Is successful I will continue onto the second and so on. The ages will be the same as they were in both shows. (Despite being two different airdates.) That is the beauty of FanFiction. You can write things any way you please. PLEASE enjoy.
While I realize that there is another story similar to this one, they are not the same!
Something Supernatural This Way Comes
Dean Winchester sat in the driver's seat of his '67 Chevy Impala with the rain hitting the windshield hard. He sat outside the bus station for his cousin Phoebe Halliwell. He waited until he saw her in the crowd of people before he drove up to her. He got out and opened the trunk and put her suitcase in it. "Dean!" She yelled and hugged him in the rain.
After they hugged they got back into the Impala and began going back to the Halliwell Manor. Dean stayed with his brothers and cousins for the last month or two since Prue and Piper had to give up their apartment. Phoebe and Dean got along rather well growing up, they were both the rebellious type.
Prue and Piper got along exceptionally well as they were very close growing up. They were practically best friends. Dean and Piper were close in age Dean being only a month older than Piper so that made them really close as cousins. Dean wouldn't let anyone or hurt his cousins or brothers.
Sam Winchester got along with all his brothers and cousins. He got along exceptionally well with Prue as he was the responsible one of her three cousins. And Adam also got along with his brothers but got along really well with Piper. They were family. And they have a lot of surprises ahead of them.
Dean returned two months ago, from a hunt he was on. He was fighting a ghost and almost died while salting and burning the bones. So, when he got the call from Prue to come home and help out with things for a while. He refused at first but, he couldn't let his family down. Sam and Adam all knew about hunting. When they were kids John Winchester used to take his sons out hunting. Despite Grams' pleas for Adam to stay.
Halliwell Manor
Piper Halliwell and Sam Winchester exited Piper's jeep and began making their way up the stairs to the old Victorian Manor. "How are you Sam?" Piper asked as he seemed a bit distracted.
Sam looked at her, "I am fine," He said. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "I am!" He defended. "Okay," He began. "You cannot tell the others. But I am thinking of proposing to Jess." He stated.
"Sam!" Piper shouted. "That's wonderful." She said as she made her way up the concrete stairs to the door. As soon as she and Sam walked through the door, "Prue?" She called out. "Adam?"
"In here, working on the chandelier." Prue Halliwell's voice sounded from the other room. "And Adam is in the living room." She added.
Piper looked at her watch, "Sorry I'm late." She defended as she hung her coat up. Sam shrugged his off and also put his on the coat rack.
"What else is new?" Prue mumbled as soon as Piper walked into her sight. Sam right behind her. "Piper, I would have been here to meet the electrician myself, but you know I can't leave the museum until six. I didn't even have time to change." She began the lecture. Although it was true, she was still in her work dress she wore that day. "And Adam wasn't back from hanging out with his friends yet," she added.
Sam smiled and said, "We didn't realize how long we were in Chinatown," He stated.
"Did Jeremy Call?" Piper asked.
Prue smiled at that thought, "No," She stated with a sigh. "But he had some roses and a package delivered." She said and pointed to the table where Adam was sat down at looking at the card. "What were you doing in Chinatown? I thought that you had an interview in North Beach." She asked.
"I did," Piper said. "And then I went and picked up Sam from his last day at college, and we went to Young Lee market afterwards for the ingredients for my audition recipe tomorrow," She explained.
"This card is beautiful," Adam said and feigned tears in his eyes but it was obvious he was joking around.
Piper and Prue smiled at him and Sam smirked with a roll of his eyes. Prue turned back to her sister, "So, that Wolfgang-puck knock-off didn't hire you then?" She asked.
Piper shook her head, "No, but this just may get me the job." She said and pulled out a large bottle out of the box.
Prue's eyes widened, "Jeremy sent you port?" She asked.
"The ultimate ingredient for my recipe." She explained as she put the bottle on the table. "Oh, my God, I don't believe it. Tell me that's not our old spirit board?" She said as she looked to her side on the cabinet that sat beneath the window.
Adam looked over at it, "Yeah, Prue and I found it in the basement when we were looking for the circuit tester," He explained as Piper picked it up.
Piper began reading the inscription on the back. "To my three beautiful girls and my three handsome nephews may this give you the light to find the shadows. The Power of Three will set you free. Love mom (Aunt Patty) we never did figure out what this inscription meant." She stated after reading it.
Prue's face lit up at a thought, "Well, maybe we should send it to Phoebe. That girl is so in the dark, maybe a little light will help." She stated.
Piper looked at her, "You're always so hard on her."
Prue looked at her sister, "Piper, the girl has no vision, no sense of the future."
Sam looked at the two bickering sisters, "I really think Phoebe's coming around." He defended.
Prue looked at him and smiled, "Well, as long as she doesn't come around here I guess that's good news." She stated and took off into the other room.
Sam and Adam went into the kitchen as Piper followed Prue.
None of them noticed the pointer of the spirit board moving on its own accord.
Opening Credits

An apartment somewhere
Darryl Morris, an inspector for the San Francisco police department, stood around until he saw his partner, Andy Trudeau, walking up to him, "Well, it's about time."
"I got here as soon as I heard. Another dead female, right? Mid to late twenties." Andy said as he came to a stop next to his partner.
Darryl began walking into the building, "I've been paging you for over an hour, Trudeau, where have you been?" He asked.
Andy looked at him, "Checking out a lead." He answered.
Darryl gave him a confused look, "What lead?" He asked.
"One that didn't go anywhere." Andy stated.
Darryl looked at him, "You're avoiding my question." He stated.
"Because you don't want to know that I went to an occult shop."
Darryl laughed, "You hate me don't you? You wanna see me suffer."
Andy said, "I wanna solve these murders. Someone's after witches."
"Women." Darryl Corrected.
Andy looked at him again, "That woman up there, I bet she was killed with an athame." He asked,
"Wrong. Double edged steel knife." Darryl corrected.
Andy smiled, "Right. That's an athame. It's a ceremonial tool. Witches use them to direct energy."
Darryl looked confused, "That woman didn't direct jack. She was stabbed. Plain and simple." He said as he began walking away.
"Was she found in an altar?" Andy asked right away.
Darryl look back at him, "Yes."
"Were there carvings on that altar?" He asked.
Darryl rolled his eyes, "Just do me a favor. Don't even follow a lead without checking with me first."
Andy smiled, "You wanna go to occult shops?"
Darryl said, "Get to work okay."
Jeremy walked up to Andy as soon as Darryl left, "Jeremy Burns. San Francisco Chronicle. You care to comment?"
Andy looked at him, "A woman was stabbed. Plain and simple."
Jeremy yelled after him, "Well, that's the third one in three weeks." But Andy continued to walk off.
Halliwell manor
Prue was still fiddling with the circuit tester determined to get it to work. "I don't get it. Adam and I have checked everything, there's no reason why the chandelier should not be working." She commented.
Piper stood next to her, by the doorway of the laundry room where the fuse box was and listened, "You know how we've been talking about what to do with the spare room? I think you're right, we do need a roommate." She stated.
Prue turned to her, "Well, Sam still lives with us now that he is back from the dorms. Unless he is moving out to be with Jess. And Dean is back. We can rent the other room at a reduced rate in exchange for some help around the house." She explained.
"Jess and I are taking it slow," Sam replied. "She isnt ready to move in together yet." He added. "I'm here for a while to help out." He said with a small smile.
"Phoebe is great with a wrench," Adam piped up.
Prue looked at him, "Phoebe lives in New York." She stated.
Piper looked towards Adam and then back to her sister with a sheepish look, "Not anymore." She stated.
Prue looked at her, "What?" She asked.
"She left New York. She's moving back in with us." Piper explained.
Prue slammed the drawer shut and then walked past Piper saying, "You have got to be kidding."
Piper followed dafter her as they left the kitchen. Sam and Adam close behind, "Well, I could hardly say no. It's her house too. Grams left it to all six of us." She explained.
"Yeah, months ago and we haven't seen or spoken to her since." Prue stated with an angry tone.
"Well, you haven't spoken to her." Piper muttered.
"No, I haven't!" Prue yelled. "Look, maybe you've forgotten why I'm still mad at her." She argued.
Piper looked at her, "No, of course not but she had nowhere else to go. She lost her job, she's in debt." Piper ranted off.
"And this is news?" Prue asked. "How long have you known about this anyway?" She now asked her cousins and sister.
Piper looked to the floor, "A couple of days," She said.
Sam piped up, "maybe a week…or two." He answered truthfully.
Prue looked at all of them. outraged they would keep things from her, "Thanks for sharing. When does she arrive?" She asked.
Sam began to speak, "Dean went to pick her up they should be here any…" he was cut off by the sound of the door opening. "Now…" He added.
"Surprise!" Phoebe yelled as she walked into the house with Dean right behind her.
Piper looked at her younger sister, "Phoebe, welcome home." She said.
Phoebe smiled, "Hello, Piper." She stated and they hugged.
"It's so good to see you. Isn't it Prue?" She asked.
Prue smirked, "I'm speechless." She said. It was still obvious she was upset.
"Hey, Sammy," Dean said as he hugged his brother. This was the first time in months that they were all under one roof. "Welcome back from the college dorms." He stated,
"Hey Dean. Adam," he said as the three embraced a group hug.
Prue smiled a little at the brotherly hug her three cousins were involved I and then looked back at Phoebe. "Is that all that you brought?" she asked as she only saw two suitcases.
"That's all that I own," Phoebe corrected. "Look, I know that you don't want me here..." she stated.
Prue quickly cut her off, "We're not selling Grams' house." She stated.
Phoebe's jaw dropped, "Is that why you think I came back?" She asked a little disappointed that her sister would even think that.
Prue looked at her, "Look, the only reason Piper and I gave up our apartment and moved back here and asked Dean to come back is because this house has been in our family for generations." She explained. "And Adam doesn't have a job and Sam wouldn't be able to handle it all on his own." She added.
Phoebe shook her head defiantly, "No history lesson needed. I grew up here too. So can we talk about what's really bothering you?" She asked.
Prue nodded her head, "No, I'm still furious with you." She admitted.
"So, you'd rather have a tense reunion filled with boring chitchat and unimportant small talk?" Phoebe asked.
"No, but otherwise we won't have anything to talk about." Prue retorted.
"I never touched Roger." Phoebe dared speak the name of the issue that was at hand. Roger was Prue's boss and ex fiancé. A few months ago Dean had found out the fight between his oldest and youngest cousin was about him and he never really liked the guy.
"Whoa." Prue said.
Phoebe looked at her, "I know you think otherwise because that's what that Armani-wearing, Chardonnay-slugging, trust-funder told you..." Phoebe started but was quickly cut off by Sam Winchester walking into the house.
Sam Winchester left the house to unload the Impala but was out of the loop of Phoebe only owning a few suitcases which she brought in herself. "Nothing was left out there," He stated as he walked into the tense room. "What did I just walk into?" He asked.
Piper decided t speak at that moment, "Hey, I have a great idea. Why don't I make a fabulous reunion dinner?" She asked.
"I'm not hungry." Prue replied as she walked into another room of the house. She wanted to be as far away from her younger sister as possible right now.
Phoebe turned to Piper. "I ate on the bus." She stated as she grabbed her bags and went up the stairs to the only vacant room.
Piper looked off after her sisters, "Okay, we'll try the group hug later." She stated and turned to her three cousins, "What about you three?" She asked.
"Sure," Sam smiled as he made his way to the kitchen.
"I'm starving" Dean replied as he too went to the kitchen.
Adam made a frown, "Sorry Piper, I had a long lunch at the school." He replied as he took off up the stairs to his own room. Adam was only 18. he went to Baker High school and was in his senior year. Despite his grams dying his junior year, he made it through long enough to pass.
Piper wondered off into the kitchen and began mixing some ingredients into a pot on the stove. "So, Dean where you been?" She asked as she started the conversation.
"Oh." He replied. Piper didn't know about his hunting nature so he couldn't say what exactly he was doing. The only people who knew of everything were Sam and Adam. "I was out with Dad for the last few months. Cruising around you know," He lied.
"Oh. Yeah," Piper smiled, "I remember he used to take you, Sam and Adam places." She laughed and added some stuff into the pot. "I'm going to run this sandwich up to Phoebe and then come down and make the rest of you some dinner." She added and took off for the kitchen door.
As soon as Piper left Sam turned to Dean, "So, what were you really doing?" Sam asked.
"I was on a hunt. Vampires," He stated "And ghosts." He added.
Dean looked between Adam and Sam, "There is another thing I didn't want to say in front of the girls yet." Dean stated. "Dad's on a hunting trip and hasn't been back in a few days." He stated cryptically. John was supposed to meet Dean before he went back home.
"Well, Prue wants us all to be around for a while. Apparently it was Grams last wish before she died." He explained. Grams (Penny) was a powerful witch. Mother of Patty Halliwell and Mary Winchester.
Mary Winchester was a witch who had the power of premonition. She always saw the past and the future. She died in the nursey of Adam Winchester by the hands of a demon.
Patty Halliwell was the oldest daughter of Penny Halliwell. She possessed the power To freeze time. She too, died at the hands of a demon.
"Well, here we all are." Adam joked as he walked out of the kitchen to follow Piper up the stairs followed by Dean. Sam laughed at the little joke as he too followed them up the stairs.
Phoebe's room
Phoebe stood in front of her mirror while the news played on the television. She wasn't really paying attention to it. That is when there was a knock on the door, "It's Me," Piper stated.
"And us." Adam replied letting Phoebe know her cousins were with Piper.
Phoebe smiled at her sister's voice, "Come on in." She stated as Piper walked in carrying a tray with drinks and a sandwich on it. "Thank God. I am starving." She added as she got onto the bed and got comfortable.
Piper smiled, "Figured." She stated as she turned to the television, "Hey, that's my boyfriend, Jeremy. What happened?" She asked upon seeing her boyfriend on the screen. And sat down. Dean followed in shortly. And then Sam.
Phoebe turned to the screen, "Oh. Some woman got whacked." She stated simply.
Piper looked at her confused, "Whacked?" She asked. "Phoebe, you've been in New York way too long." She stated.
"Yeah, I should have stayed." She muttered. "Now, why didn't you tell her I was coming back?" She asked. "Or why didn't Sam, Dean or Adam ease her into it?" She added.
Piper looked at her, "And risk her changing the locks?" She asked. "I don't think so and besides, I think you should have been the one to tell her not us." She added. "And Sam was finishing his last college test." Piper replied and turned to Sam who gave a slight nod. "And he passed." She exclaimed.
Phoebe shook her head, "Good point, Chicken Little. Great job Sammy." She said with a smile from her bed. "It's just so hard for me to talk to her. She's always been more like a mother." She stated. "And Dean has always been more of a father figure to us." She added.
Piper shook her head, "Well, it's not their fault. They practically had to sacrifice…" Piper began and phoebe chimed in, "To help raise us…" They finished together.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Phoebe finished.
Piper looked at her again after she glanced back at the television, "And we're lucky Prue was so responsible. And Dean was so Protective. You, Sam, Adam and I had it easy, all we had to do was be there." She insisted.
"Yeah, well, I don't need a mom anymore, you know, I need a sister." Phoebe stated "And I need a cousin." She replied to Dean as there was another knock on the door.
Prue stood on the other side of the open door "This was always the coldest room in the house." Prue stated as she held out a blanket and put it on the side table.
Phoebe smiled, "Thanks." She said. And Prue shook her head slightly and walked away.
As Prue walked away she knew deep down that it was ridiculous being upset with her sister.
The murdered witch's apartment
Andy and Darryl were surveying the scene. Andy looked at the tattoo on the murdered womans neck. It's a full circle with three interlocking arcs inside. "It's the same tattoo that was on the other two victims." He stated.
Darryl looked at him. "So, the murderer is killing occults." He asked.
Andy shook his head, "No, the murderers on witch hunts." He corrected.
Darryl smirked slightly, "Oh, yeah, he's five to eight years old and he lives in Salem. Look around, Trudeau. Pentagrams, altars, offerings, all the tools of a freak fest." He stated.
Andy turned to him, "They call them Sabbaths. Which is hardly a freak fest. She was a solitary practitioner. She practiced her craft alone." He guessed.
"Mmm." Darryl Mumbled.
"Let me ask you something, Morris. Do you believe in U.F.O.'s?" Andy Asked.
"Hell, no."
Andy said, "Neither do I. But do you believe that there are people out there who do believe in U.F.O.'s?" He asked.
"Yes, but I think they're crazy." Darryl admitted.
Andy looked at him, "Well, then why can't you believe that there are people who believe they are witches."
Darryl looked him in the eyes, "Look, all I know is if you don't stop talking about witches, I'm gonna start questioning you." Darryl stated. Kit jumped up on the bench and meowed. Andy walked over to pet her "I'd stay away from that cat, Trudeau. It's been clawing the crap out of everybody. See you at the car." He began to walk away as Andy looked at Kit's collar which had the same symbol on it that was tattooed on the witch.
Halliwell Manor
Piper, Sam and Phoebe were sat at the table in the Solarium playing with the Spirit board. (Sam, despite knowing the dangers it could cause, decided to anyways) Dean and Adam were helping Prue with the chandelier nonsense. "When did you meet Jeremy?" Phoebe asked Piper.
Piper smiled, "About six months ago - right before Grams died. We met in the hospital cafeteria the day Grams was admitted. He was covering a story and I was bawling over a bagel. So, he handed me a napkin." She began to explain.
Phoebe smiled, "How romantic." She stated.
Piper shook her head, "As a matter of fact it was. The napkin had his phone number on it." She said. Phoebe laughed at that moment.
Sam Smiled at that, "I remember that, that was when Jess took the napkin in a protective way and texted the number to make sure it was actually him." He smirked at the memory along with Piper.
Piper nodded in agreement, "It's a shame she couldn't be here tonight, youd like her Phoebe," She turned to the pointer, "Stop pushing the pointer!" She yelled to her sister.
Phoebe looked at her, "I'm not touching it." She defended.
Piper turned to her, "You used to always push the pointer." She reminded and the grabbed the bowl that was on the table beside the spirit board. "More popcorn?" She asked as she got up and started heading for the kitchen.
Phoebe shook her head, "Hey, I forgot your question," she said.
Piper's voice drifted from the kitchen. "I asked if Prue would have sex with someone other than herself this year," She commented.
"Yuck" Adam yelled from another room of the house.
Phoebe shook her head in agreement as Sam made a disgusted face, "That's disgusting." She stated. "Please say yes." As soon as the words left her mouth the pointer moved to the letter 'A' "Piper." She breathed and let go of the pointer.
The pointer then moved to the letter 'T' this time Sam was the only one touching it, "Uh, Piper get in here!" He yelled.
Piper ran in, "What?" She asked. it wasn't like her cousin to yell for her if it wasn't serious.
Prue, Dean and Adam came in as well, "What did you guys do now?" Prue asked as she came to a stop next to Piper.
Piper put her hands on her chest, "Me?" She asked. "I didn't do anything."
Phoebe stood up, "The pointer on the spirit board. It moved on its own." She stated. Dean tensed up a little bit as Prue and Piper stared at her. "I'm serious it spelt 'A T'" She said.
"Did you push it?" Adam asked hoping it was all a joke. While he knew about the dangers of the board. He also knew Phoebe and her practical jokes.
"No," She defended herself.
Prue looked at her, "You used to always push the pointer." She reminded.
Phoebe looked to Sam who was at a loss for words. "My fingers were barely touching it. Look." She stated and put her fingers back on the pointer. And nothing happened. Prue and Piper started to leave, and Dean watched closely as the pointer moved to the bottom of the board back to the letter 'T'. "Ah!" Phoebe cried. "It did it again. It moved!"
Prue walked up to the spirit board and looked at it, "It's still on the letter 'T'" She stated.
Phoebe looked at her, "I swear it moved." She said, and Prue turned and left the room. Not wanted to deal with this nonsense right now.
The pointer moved again, this time on its own and Piper, Sam, Dean and Adam stare at it now realizing it wasn't Phoebe after all. "Look, you saw that right?" Phoebe asked.
Piper shook her head unsure, "I think so, yeah." She stated.
Phoebe looked at her and her cousins, "I told you I wasn't touching it." She stated as it moved to another letter.
Piper turned her head, "Prue, can you come in here for a sec?" She called out for her sister.
Prue walked back into the room slightly annoyed she had to deal with this nonsense, "Now what?" She asked.
"I think its trying to tell us something." Phoebe said as she wrote down the letters on an envelope. "ATTIC" She read what she wrote. At the same time, she said the word, the power in the entire house went out followed by a clap of thunder.

Piper walked into the foyer to the door and Prue followed her. Sam and Dean walked out to the impala to grab a few things and talk out of earshot of their cousins. Adam was in the other room with Phoebe looking for flashlights.
"don't you think your overreacting?" Prue asked her sister. "We are perfectly safe here." She added.
Piper pointed at her sister, "Don't say that." She warned. "In horror movies the person who says that is always the next to die." She explained.
"It's pouring rain, there's a psycho on the loose and Jeremy isn't even home." Prue tried to explain to her younger sister.
Piper looked at her, "Well I'll-I'll-I'll wait in the cab until he gets home from work," She stated.
Prue rolled her eyes, "That'll be cheap." Prue retorted with a hint of sarcasm.
"Prue, I saw that pointer move!" Piper yelled to her sister. "So did Sam and Dean and Adam." She explained.
Prue shook her head, "No, look, what you guys saw was Phoebe's fingers pushing the pointer. There's nothing in the attic, she's playing a joke on us." She tried to explain. She wasn't buying any of this as real.
Piper began to walk to the end of the foyer by the living room, "We don't know that. We've lived in this house for months and we've never been able to get that attic door open." She explained as she picked up the phone and put it to her ear, "Great now the phone doesn't work." She cried.
"Yeah, the powers out." Prue replied as if it was obvious. "Look, just go with me to the basement." Prue stated rather than asked.
"What?" Piper asked.
"I need someone to hold the flashlight while I check out the main circuit box." Prue explained.
Phoebe and Adam walked into the room at that moment, "Phoebe and Adam will go with you to the basement. Wont you guys?" She asked.
"Nope, I'm going to the attic." Phoebe replied. "We both are." She added with a look in her cousins' direction.
"No, you're not we already agreed." Prue commented.
Phoebe shook her head, "I am not waiting for some handyman to check out the attic and I'm certainly not waiting until tomorrow. I'm going now." She stated and then climed the stairs followed by Adam.
Prue just went into another room. "Prue wait," Piper called out and followed her sister. Piper:

Outside in the driveway, Dean opened his trunk while Same held up one of the sister's umbrellas. "Dean, we can't just go in there with guns. You know how Prue feels about them." He stated. "Besides, they don't know what we do, yet."
"I'm not getting guns, Sammy," Dean replied and pulled out a jar.
"Salt?" Sam asked
"Ghosts." Dean replied. "We will line the doorways with salt. Just to be on the safe side. Something about that spirit board pointer moving, had to be a ghost." He stated and closed the trunk and went back inside the house.
Attic Hallway/Attic
Phoebe and Adam approached the door and tried to open it, but it appeared locked. They were about to give up as they turned around to go down the stairs and heard the attic door open by itself.
"Whoa," Phoebe muttered as she held tightly onto Adam's hand and they walked inside together. The fist thing their flashlights fell on was a chest and they figured they would walk over to it. Phoebe opened the chest and pulled out a large book. The book had a huge circle with three interlocking arcs on it. she opened the book and read the first page with Adam right beside her, "Book of Shadows." She read aloud and turned the page and began reading that aloud as well.
"Hear now the words of the witches,
the secrets we hid in the night,
the oldest of Gods are invoked here,
the great work of magic is sought.
In this night and in this hour,
I call upon the ancient power,
bring your powers to we cousins six,
we want the power, give us the power."
As soon as the last of the words left her mouth. The chandelier began to glow a bright blue color as a light shone down upon the entire household. With Prue and Piper being in the basement and Dean and Sam on the second floor on their way up to the attic.
There was a picture on the table beside the couch that had a picture of Prue, Dean, Piper, Sam, and Phoebe and Adam. Prue and Phoebe as far apart as possible. Piper on the very edge not wanting to be in the picture at all. Dean was next to her on her right, Sam was on Piper's other side, and Adam was next to Phoebe, who was on the very edge of the other end. Everyone was far away from one another until bright lights pushed the ones in the photo closer together. This would mean that they were now closer than they ever were before.
Sam, Dean, Prue and Piper all entered the attic at that moment, "what are you doing?" Prue asked curiously as she looked around the attic.
"Uh…" Phoebe muttered. "Reading an incantation. It was in this Book of Shadows. Adam and I found it in that trunk." She explained
Piper looked at the door, "How did you get in here?" She asked.
Adam shrugged his shoulders and turned to his brothers and cousins, "The door just opened." He stated.
"Oh." Piper sighed.
"Wait, an incantation. What kind of incantation?" Sam now asked after the awe of everything in the room died down from within.
Phoebe turned to him and Dean and began to explain, "It said something about there being three essentials of magic." She began. "Timing, feeling and the phases of the moon. If we were ever going to do this, now, midnight on a full moon, is the most powerful time." She explained.
"Do what?" Dean asked as he was looking suspiciously at the Book Prue now had in her hands.
"Receive our powers." Phoebe said sheepishly.
"What powers?" Piper asked. "Wait, our powers? You included me in this?" Piper asked
"No, she included all of us. Bring your powers to we cousins six. It's a book of witchcraft." Prue explained.
Piper held out her hands and looked at the book curiously, "Let me see that." She ordered lightly and Prue handed it to her. Piper looked at it and then the three sisters left the attic putting the book down on the trunk lid.
Sam, Dean and Adam waited until they heard the footsteps disperse farther down before they began to talk. "Witchcraft?" Sam asked and looked at his older brother. "What does this mean?" He asked.
"I think its time I had a talk with you and Adam." Dean said as he sat down on the old couch that was up there.
"What talk?" Adam asked.
"Dad and Grams told me when I first went hunting with dad after he came back the second time." Dean began, and Sam sat down. Adam just stood there with his arms crossed over his chest waiting for more. "They had to tell me in advance because of something. They weren't clear on that, but they told me that the six of us are powerful witches. Good ones." He explained.
"Could you be more specific?" Adam asked.
"No. that's all they told me. And Grams, being the vague woman she is, said I would know what they were talking about when the time came." He explained as he stood up.
"Wait, that's it?" Sam asked as he got up.
"I will explain more to you after we find out more of what happened." Dean promised. "But its easier for us to believe Phoebe cast a spell to give us power. But we need to figure out who has what. If they are all different. And what it means for us. And what it will mean for hunters." He explained, and Sam nodded in understanding. Adam reluctantly agreed.

"Spirit boards, books of witchcraft. It figures all this freaky stuff started when you arrived." Prue told her youngest sister.
"Hey, I wasn't the one who found the spirit board." Phoebe challenged.
"But it wasn't my fingers pushing around on the pointer." Prue retorted.
"It doesn't matter. Because nothing happened, right Phoebe, when you did that incantation?" Piper asked as they descended the main floor stairs.
"Well, my head spun around, and I vomited split-pea soup. How should I know?" Phoebe asked.
"Well, everything looks the same." Piper said.
You're right." Phoebe agreed.
Prue rolled her eyes, "But the house still needs work."
"Everything feels the same, so nothing's changed. Right?" Piper needed the assurance.
~PO3~
Outside the Halliwell house Phoebe sat on the stairs drinking some coffee. Piper came out. "You're up early." She stated as she closed the door behind her.
Phoebe looked at her, "I never went to sleep."
"Don't tell me you put on a black conical hat and spent the night flying around the neighborhood on a broomstick?" she joked and sat down next to her sister.
Phoebe laughed at the joke, "The only broom I've ever had was kept in a closet beside a mop." She quipped.
Piper looked at her, "So what were you doing?" She asked.
"Reading. Is Prue around? What about Sam or Dean?" She asked.
Piper shook her head, "She went to work early. Sam and Dean decided they wanted to take Adam to school and then go to Jess' place." Piper stated as if it was normal. Which, in her life it was. She never questioned it. "Reading aloud?" She asked.
Phoebe shook her head with a small smile, "No. But according to the Book Of Shadows, one of our ancestors was a witch, named Melinda Warren." She stated.
Piper looked at her, "And we have a cousin who's a drunk, an aunt who's manic, a father who's invisible and an uncle who is never around for his sons or nieces." She stated as she stood up.
Phoebe stood up as well, "I'm serious." She elaborated. "She practiced powers. Three powers. She could move objects with her mind, see the future and stop time. Before Melinda was burned at the stake, she vowed that each generation of Warren witches would become stronger and stronger, culminating in the arrival of three sisters and three brothers." She began as they walked to Piper's car. "Now, these sisters and brothers would be the most powerful witches the world has ever known. They're good witches and I think we're those sisters and Dean, Sam and Adam are those brothers."
Piper got into her car and held the door open, "Look, I know what happened last night was weird and unexplainable, but we do not have special powers besides, Grams wasn't a witch and as far as we know neither were mom or Aunt Mary." She stated as she closed the door and rolld the window down. "So, take that Nancy Drew."
Phoebe watched as Piper was about to take off, "We're the protectors of the innocent. We're known as the Charmed Ones." She stated as Piper drove away.
Jess' parkinglot
Sam and Dean pulled up into the parking lot of Sam's girlfriends apartment and got out of the Impala.
"I don't see why you needed to come with me, Dean." Sam said as he opened the door to the building.
"Because, Sammy," Dean stated. "I want to meet Jess again. The others have met her a bunch of times and I only met her once." He quipped as he followed his brother inside the building.
A group of people were standing around talking in the little lobby area. This had been a regular thing since Jess moved in here a few months ago.
Someone had accidently run into Dean and spilled the can of soda. Dean threw out his hands and everything froze on the spot. Everyone was frozen. Everyone except for Sam. "Whoa," Sam stated.
"What the hell…" Dean said. They had a lot to figure out. And very little time.
A few seconds later everything unfroze. Dean looked at his hands in shock. He had just stopped time as Phoebe had mentioned earlier.
Baker High School
Adam Winchester was at his locker talking to a few of his friends. He had recently made a few friends his senior year of High school.
"Hey, Adam. What's this?" One of his female friends asked as she saw a bracelet of sorts.
Adam looked at it and began to feel sad, "Oh. That is a bracelet my aunt Patty gave my brother." He began. "Sam and Aunt Patty were extremely close before she died." He explained.
"Well, here you go." The female friend said and he grabbed it. as soon as he did he began seeing images in his head.
Premonitiom
Adam and his two brothers had joined hands along with his three cousins right next to him "The Power of Three," His oldest cousin stated.
End of Premonition
Adam looked confused as the events in his mind "What the hell?" He whispered to himself. Throwing the bracelet back into the locker and going off to class. Hed talk to Dean about this later.
Museum of Natural History
"There's been a change of plans." Roger stated as he and Prue walked through to museum.
"Change of plan?" Prue asked. "Regarding the Beals expedition?"
"The extra money that you help raise through private donations has sparked significant corporate interest. The Beals artefacts will now become part of our permanent collection." He explained.
"Well, that's terrific." Prue replied.
Roger stopped and looked at her, "Which is why the board wants someone a little more qualified to handle the collection from now on." He explained further and saw her reaction, "You look surprised." He stated.
"I don't know why. I'm furious." Prue began, "Not only have I been on this project since its inception, But I'm the curator who secured the entire exhibition." She explained and then looked at him quizzically. "You're the person a little more qualified aren't you?" She asked.
"I could hardly say no to the board of directors, could i?" He asked. "But, I know you'll be happy for me, after all, whats good for me is definitely good for you. Right, Miss Halliwell?" He asked.
"Miss Halliwell?" Prue replied furious. "Since when did we stop using a first name basis? When we stopped sleeping together or when I returned your engagement ring, Roger?" she asked.
Roger looked at her with a smile, "I didn't realize the two were mutually exclusive. Although I certainly enjoyed one better than the other." He replied.
"Bastard!" Prue cursed as she turned to leave.
Roger stooped her, "Prue, wait. I feel like I should say something if only to avoid a lawsuit."
She looked at his pocket where a pen lied and turned around and left. The pen in his pocket leaked and created a blue ink spot on his shirt. He took the pen out of his pocket and it exploded all over his face.
Jess' Apartment
Sam went up and knocked on the door, "Jess," He called out. When he didn't receive an answer he knocked again.
"Sammy," Dean stated as he came up to his brother. "That was an awesome thing," He satetd with a grin. He knocked on the door as well. "Is she even home?" he asked as he pulled out his lock pick.
"You're picking the lock?" Sam asked with wide eyes.
"Do you have a better idea?" Dean asked as he put the lock pick into the lock.
Sam didn't know why but he felt the urge to throw his hand forward. When he did that, the door flew open and Dean fell to the ground as he was leaning on the door. "Whoa," He stated. "I guess I can move things with my mind," Sam stated as he remembered what Phoebe was telling him and Dean before they left earlier that day.
"Sammy!" Dean complained as he got up. "That could be useful on hunts," He whispered.
"Jess, isn't here Dean." Sam stated as he pulled a note off the fridge, "Sam, went to see my parents. Be back tomorrow." He read the note.
Quake
Piper stood in the kitchen making her audition meal. Just when she poured the port into a measuring cup Chef Moore entered, "Your, time, Is up," He stated in his French accent as he clapped his hands together twice. "Lets see." He added. "Roast pork with gratin of fennel and penne with a port giblet sauce."
"Chef Moore," Piper began.
"What?" he asked.
"Uh, the port," She started.
Chef Moore cut her off, "Yes, without the sauce it is nothing more than a salty marinara. A recipe from a woman's magazine. Puh!" He said.
"I didn't have time for…" Piper began but he cut her off.
"Ah ah!" He said.
"But, but," Piper began as he put the fork to his mouth. Piper flicked her wrists and he froze in his spot. "Chef Moore? Chef Moore?" Piper tried as she waved her hand in front of his face. "Hello? Hello?" She asked. She then went and picked up a baster and filled it up with some port. She dribbled some on Chef Moore's forkful of food. He unfroze and put it in his mouth.
Chef Moore looked at her, "Mmm ... this is very good. C'est magnifique." He said and Piper just nodded.
Halliwell Manor
Sam and Dean walked inside the house and came to a stop in the foyer. "So, I can freeze things, You can move things with your mind. This is all things I have been taught to destroy, what we have been taught Sam," Dean explained. "I mean, I knew about all of this before hand. Because Dad told me before I started going on hunts with him as a kid. But I just thought he was talking nonsense." He added.
"Okay, so it is real Dean. Does that mean we are evil?" Sam asked slightly panicked. "Dad always told us witches are evil."
"Maybe, maybe not." Dean started. "Phoebe told me earlier that witches could be good or evil. Its how you use your magic," He remembered and recited off the tip of his tounge. "We need to find out more before we decide what we are going to do." Dean added as he walked up the stairs.
"I agree." Sam muttered before following his brother.
Museum of Natural History.
Roger was seatd at a chair in his office and he was talking on the phone. "It was my idea to spark corporate interest in private donations. Not only have I been with this project since its inception," He explained as Prue walked into his office, he was oblicious to her presence as he was faced the opposite direction. "but we both know who really secured the entire exhibit." He swung around in his chair and saw her, "Prue..." He added.
"I quit," Prue told him simply.
"I'm going to have to call you back." He said into the phone before hanging up. "Think about this, Prue." He ordered.
Prue thought for a moment, "Lousy job, lousy pay, lousy boss. What's to think about?" She asked.
Roger stood up, "Your future. Because, believe me, if you walk out with no notice, you can kiss any references…" he began.
"Don't threaten me, Roger." She warned.
Roger smirked a little, "You know me. Had to try. You're hurt, you're angry, your pride is wounded. I understand all that. That's why you can't see that I'm doing you a favor." He explained.
"Excuse me?" Prue asked.
"I had to take the exhibit away from you. If I hadn't, the board would of come and put a total stranger in my place. Think about it, Prue. I'm here for you. Not some stranger. You should be thanking me not leaving me." He explained.
Prue smiled, "Well, I'm not worried. I'm certain that your intellect will make quick work of the seventy-five computer discs and thousands of pages of research I left in my office." She explained.
Roger pointed at her, "You're gonna regret this." He said.
Prue nodded, "Oh, I don't think so. I thought breaking up with you was the best thing I'd ever done. But this definitely tops that. Goodbye, Roger." She said with a final smile and began to walk away.
"I hope there are no office supplies in your purse." He yelled towards her.
She stopped and wrapped her hands around an imaginary neck. Roger's suddenly tie tightened around his neck and strangled him. He opened his drawer and grabbed a pair of scissors. He cut the tie off. "What the hell was that?" He asked.
Halliwell Manor
Sam and Dean stood in the attic and looked through the Book of Shadows. After the first page on Melinda Warren, "Look, Dean right here," Sam said and pointed to an article in the Book. "It says, I have never sold my soul for magic. All my descendants powers will be natural' So I guess that answers that." Sam stated as he looked up at his brother. Who had his cell phone to his ear.
"Dad, when you get this, please call me back. I'm back at the Manor. I need to know about the ma…Dammit!" He yelled before his cell phone died. He realized he forgot to charge it the night before.
On the road
Pheobe Halliwell rode her old bicycle down the street when she suddenly saw flashes of events in her mind of two boys getting run over by a car.
"No! stop!" Phoebe yelled and pedaled faster towards them only to tip over on her bike.
Baker High
After the final bell rang, Adam made his way down the school steps and was not surprised to see Prue's car waiting for him. This had been a regular thing since Dean got back a few months ago. He would drop him off and Prue would pick him up. That was the arrangement between the two oldest cousins. "Hey Prue." Adam smiled as he got into the front seat of her car.
"Hey Ads," Prue smiled back, How was school?" She asked.
"The usual." He answered just as Prue's cell Phone rang.
"Can you get that?" Prue asked; she had just left the parkinglot and did not want to talk on the phone and drive at the same time.
"Sure," Adam said and picked up the phone that was sat in the cup holder, "Prue Halliwell's phone. Adam speaking." He waited on the voice to finish talking, "Oh my god. Is she okay? Thank you! We will be right there!" He hung up the phone and turned to Prue. "Phoebe's in the hospital I guess she fell off her bike."
"What?" Prue asked, concerned. She began to speed up, Adam swore she was driving like Dean for a moment.
Hospital
Prue and Adam had arms linked with each other frantically going to the front desk, "Hi, we are looking for Phoebe Halliwell. She's my sister and his cousin." Prue said as soon as she got up to the desk.
"One second please." The woman replied. She turned to a man standing next to them. "What's the name again?" She asked.
"Inspector Andrew Trudeau. Homicide," Andy replied looking at the lady. "Doctor Gordon is expecting me." He added.
Prue turned over to him, "Andy?" She asked.
He turned to her, "Prue?" He asked and saw who she was with, "Adam. How are you two?" he asked.
"I'm good," Prue answered and Adam gave a peace sign to tell Andy he was doing alright. "How are you?" she asked.
"Fine," he answered. "I can't believe I'm running into you." He stated.
"Yeah, we're picking up Phoebe, she had some kind of an accident." She explained to him.
"Is she going to be okay?" Andy asked.
"She will be fine," Adam replied. "What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Murder investigation," Andy replied.
After an awkward silence, The nurse came back, "Your sisters still in x-ray so it'll be another 15 minutes." She explained to Prue and then turned to Andy. "Dr. Gordons office is to the left and down the hall. He's with a patient right now but your free to wait outside his office." She explained.
"Thank you," The two replied at the same time.
"It was good seeing you, Andy," Adam told him as he walked away to sit down in one of the chairs.
"It was good seeing you too," he explained to both of them but mostly Prue. "You know, Phoebe's busy. Dr. Gordon's busy. Can I buy you a black cup of coffee while we wait?" He asked.
"Sure," Prue stated. "So, you're an inspector now?" She asked.
"What can I say? In any other city id be called a detective," he stated.
"Inspector's classier." Prue labeled.
"Liking it better already," He explained.
"Your dad must be so proud." She smiled at him.
"Third generation. You bet he's happy. How about you? Taking the world by storm?" He asked.
Prue looked at him, "Well, I'm living back at grams' house. And as of an hour ago, looking for work." She explained.
"Oh," Andy said.
"I heard you moved to Portland." She explained.
"I'm back. You still seeing roger?" Andy asked.
"How do you know about him?" She asked.
"I know people," Andy smirked.
"You checked up on me?" She asked.
"I wouldn't call it that."
"What would you call it?"
"Inquiring minds want to know." He replied. "What can I say? I'm a detective." He explained.
Quake
Prue, Phoebe and Adam sat at the bar in Quake, Adam was drinking a soda.
"The Chosen Ones? The Charmed Ones? Phoebe, this is insane." Prue began.
"Are you telling me that nothing strange happened to you today?" Phoebe asked. "You didn't stop time, or move anything?"
"Roger took an exhibit away from me." Prue explained. "All right, look, Phoebe, I know that you think you can see the future which is pretty ironic," Prue began but was cut off.
"Since you don't think I have one," Phoebe interrupted. "That my vision of life is cloudy compared to your perfect hell. Even if you don't want to believe me. Just once can't you trust me?" Phoebe pleaded with her older sister.
Adam piped up at that moment "I think, I saw the two sets of us we had our hands joined," he explained. But was left unheard.
"Phoebe, Adam, I do not have special powers. Now, where is the cream?" Prue asked as the bottle of cream moved by itself next to her cup and filled it with creamer.
"Really? That looked pretty special to me." Phoebe retorted.
Prue was still in shock at the event that just happened. "Oh my god, so I can move things with my mind?" She asked.
"With how much you hold inside, you should be a lethal weapon by now," Phoebe joked but was only half serious.
"I don't believe this," Prue said.
Adam was still in shock at the cup moving on its own. He immediately began to wonder which of his brothers had which power. "This must Mean that Piper can freeze time," He heard Phoebe say and he thought his question was answered. Could Dean move things with his mind? Could Sam freeze time? "Prue, you, okay?" He asked her upon seeing her down a shot of alcohol.
"No, I am not okay, Phoebe you turned me into a witch." She said.
You were born one. We all were. And I think we better start to deal with that." She said.
~PO3~
Phoebe, Prue and Adam were walking outside back to Prue's car. "When I was looking through the Book Of Shadows, I saw these wood carvings. They looked like something out of a Bosch paintings. All these terrifying images of three men and three women battling different incarnations of evil." Phoebe began to explain.
"Evil fighting evil. That's a twist." Adam said considering what he knew about witches from what his Dad always told him.
Phoebe looked at him, "Actually, a witch can be either good or evil. A good witch follows the wiccan rede. 'An it harm none, do what ye will.' A bad witch or a warlock has but one goal: to kill good witches and retain their powers. Unfortunately, the look like regular people. They could be anyone, anywhere." She ecplained to them both.
"And this has what to do with us?" Prue asked.
"Well, in the first wood carving, they were in the slumber, but in the second one, they were battling some kind of warlock. I think as long as we were in the dark about our powers we were safe. Not anymore."
Dean's Impala
Dean decided he needed to take a drive to clear his head. He started thinking back to what his father and Grams told him when he was old enough to start hunting with John after they had moved into the Manor
Flash Back
Dean was 16 at the time he went with John by himself without his brothers. "Dean, sit down." John ordered slightly.
Dean sat down and looked at his father, "Where are Sammy and Adam? My cousins." He asked.
"They are still in school. Grams called you out so we could talk to you." He said as Grams came in and sat at the table next to Dean and John sat on his other side.
"What's going on, Dad? Are you not taking me with you?" He asked. He was sure to his dad changing his mind.
"No, there is something else we need to talk about." Penny said. "But you cannot tell your brothers or cousins. You'll understand why when the time comes
End of flashback
Dean remembered Grams telling him about magic and how he was a serious destiny ahead of him when the time came. He was wondering if this was the destiny, John let it slip a year ago that Dean was some sort of magical creature, but he was very vague.
All of Phoebe's talk of being witches finally made sense. He had frozen the hotel Lobby earlier when he was with Sam. As he processed all of this, he knew he needed to go back to the manor. It was time to use his newfound abilities to take on evil. Weather he wanted to or not.
Pharmacy
Phoebe handed her prescription to the pharmacist, "I'll be right back with your prescription." He said and turned to walk away.
"Take your time," Phoebe stated.
"Excuse me, where do you keep the aspirin?" Prue asked.
The pharmacist turned back around, "Aisle three," he said and pointed in the general direction.
Phoebe and Adam followed Prue to said aisle, "Chamomile tea works great for headaches." Phoebe pointed out.
"Not for this one it won't," Prue said as she began looking for the aspirin wondering further down the aisle.
"You know, I'm not afraid of our powers. I mean, everyone inherits something from their families right?" Phoebe went on.
"Phoebe," Adam warned but she dismissed him, the problem with being the youngest of the family, you were easily dismissed.
"Yeah, Money, antiques, a strong disposition. That's what normal people inherit." Prue argued.
"Who wants to be normal when we can be special?" Phoebe retorted.
"I want to be normal; I want my life to be…Isn't this aisle three?" She asked looking around.
"We can't change what happened. We can't undo our destiny." Phoebe argued.
Prue ignored her this time and turned to Adam, "Do you see and Aspirin?" She asked.
"I see chamomile tea," Phoebe quipped.
That had struck a nerve with Prue, "Look!" She shouted in a hushed voice. "I have just found out that I'm a witch, that my sisters and cousins are witches, and that we have powers that will apparently unleash all forms of evil. Evil that is apparently going to come looking for us. So excuse me Phoebe, but I'm not exactly in a homeopathic mood right now."
Oh, just wait until you learn about hunters coming after us too! Adam quipped in his mind. No. Hunters never appeared in San Francisco. He never understood why. He made a mental note to ask Dean at a later time.
"Then move your headache out of your mind," Phoebe retorted. Prue stared at her sister angrily just as a bottle of aspirin flew right off the shelf and she caught it. "You move things when you're upset." She pointed out matter of fact-like.
"This is ridiculous!" Prue yelled. "I thought you landed on your arm not your head."
"You don't believe me."
"Of course, I don't believe you!"
"Ro-ger." Phoebe said and crossed her arms on her shoulders just as a couple more bottles of aspirin flew off the shelf and landed on the floor in front of the two bickering sisters and the silent Adam. "Now let's talk about Dad and see what happens." She said.
"He's dead Phoebe." Prue said.
"No, he's moved from New York but he's very much alive." Phoebe argued.
"He isn't to me, he died the day he left mom." Prue said.
Phoebe looked at her sister, "What are you talking about? He's always been a major button pusher for you. You're mad he's alive, you're mad I tried to find him, and you're mad I came back. Dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad." After she got done saying that all the things on the shelves flew to the ground causing the two sisters and Adam to jump. "Feel better?" She asked her sister knowingly.
"Lots!" Prue had to admit she did feel a bit better.
"The Book of Shadows said our powers would grow." Phoebe said.
"Grow to what?" Prue asked and turned to Adam, "Hey, why didn't you get involved?" She asked curiously.
"I figured in the long run, its easier to let you guys have your sisterly spats, besides Sam and Piper more the mediators in the family." Adam replied as he followed his cousins out of the store after Phoebe went to get her medicine.
Bowing building
Jeremy had opened the door, "Well, here we are," He said as he turned to Piper.
"I don't care how amazing the view is. I'm not going in there," Piper said. She decided she wanted to spend time with her boyfriend tather than going back to the Manor. She didn't want to listen to Phoebe talk about magic again.
"Come on," Jeremy begged, "I have a surprise inside." He said as he lead her to an elevator. He pressed the button and it began to move. After he closed all of the doors of course. "You are gonna love this. I bet you tell Prue, Adam, Dean, Sam and Phoebe the moment you see them." He said.
Piper looked at him skepitcally, "I never mentioned Phoebe or Sam came home." She said.
"Whoops." Jeremy said and pulled out a knife.
"What is that?" Piper asked.
"It's your surprise." He said.
"Jeremy stop it. You're scaring me." Piper said and when she saw the look in his eyes, "Damn it! I'm serious." She said.
"So am I!" Jeremy yelled back. "See' I've waited six months for this. Ever since Grams went to the hospital. I've known for quite sometime that the moment the old which croaked that all your powers would be released. Powers that would reveal themselves as soon as the six of you got together again. All that was needed was for Phoebe to return. And Sam to move back in." He explained.
"It's you isn't it. You killed all those women." Piper realized.
"Not woman. Witches!" He corrected her.
"Why?" She asked.
IT was the only way to get their powers." Jeremy explained and his fingers had fire coming out of them and his face was being distorted. "And now I want yours!" He said.
Piper screamed and threw her hands up and Jeremy froze on the spot. "Okay think. Stay calm. I gotta get out of here. Okay." She said to herself and began climbing out of the elevator that was frozen as well. Jeremy unfroze and tried to pull her back in. she grabbed a wooded board and whacked him in the face with it. He fell to the floor unconscious. She ran towards the door for the life of her. Not looking back at all.
Halliwell Manor
Sam Winchester was in the kitchen with a bottle of beer in on the table and his laptop on the table next to it. He was doing some last minute research for where he wanted move too. Listing of apartments for him and Jess. He heard the machine click on from the other room, "Prue its Roger I've decided to let you come back to work. Seriously let's talk." He heard before he made his way to the other room to find Phoebe.
"Hey you!" Sam greeted with a smile. "I was wondering who it was checking the messages." He said.
"It was just roger," Phoebe said "Should we tell Prue?" She asked.
Sam knew of the dilemma between Prue and Phoebe and the Roger situation. That's why he pressed a button on the machine. "Deleted." The machine said. "She can find someone else to work for. I never liked that guy anyways." Sam said with a sigh just as Prue walked in holding a cat.
"Piper is definitely not home unless she's turned into a cat." Prue stated.
"How'd the cat get in?" Sam asked.
"I don't know. Someone may have left the window opened." Prue explained and then turned to her sister. "Did Piper leave a message?" She asked.
"She's probably out with Jeremy." Phoebe explained. "Sorry Sam, but Roger called Prue." She added.
Prue looked at Sam with a grateful smile, "Thank you Sammy. I heard you delete the message. And you are right. I can find somewhere else to work." She said and hugged her middle cousin.
"Whoa, Piper slow down!" The heard Dean's voice after he opened the door.
"Prue!" Piper yelled as she ran into the house Dean had closed and locked the door.
"In here!" Phoebe yelled despite her sister yelling for Prue. "Piper?" Phoebe asked.
As soon as Adam came back from the downstairs bathroom he saw the look in Piper's eyes. "What's wrong?" He asked, concerned.
"Quick! Lock the door's check the windows. We don't have a lot of time. Phoebe, in the book of Shadows did it say how to get rid of a…" She couldn't remember the name for the life of her.
"Warlock?" Phoebe asked.
"Oh my god!" Dean said. As he made his way out of the house followed by Sam.
"What?" Prue asked as she followed her cousins out the door.
Dean opened the trunk and lifted up the false bottom and grabbed a rifle. "Dean, salt rounds aren't going to work on a warlock, and neither are silver bullets." Sam explained. "We have never been against one before."
"Silver bullets?" Prue asked. "Dean, what is going on?" She asked,.
"If we live through the night, I will explain everything." He said as he closed the trunk and put his trusty pistol behind his jeans.
Bowing Building
Jeremy woke up and grabbed his knife that was on the ground, "I'll get you, you bitch." He said as he ran out of the building.
Halliwell Manor
"I'm calling the cops." Prue said.
"And tell them what, Prue?" Sam sked from his spot next to Dean right under the stairs, "That some freak with powers beyond comprehension is trying to kill us? Even if the cops did come, they'd be no match for Jeremy, and we'd be next." He explained.
Phoebe ran to the center of the stairs, "Adam and I found the answer. Come on!" she said.
~SC~
In the attic the six witches were now seated on the floor around a small table. They have eight candles all around them. "Okaym we've place nice candles anointed with oil and spices in a circle." Prue began.
Adam pointed at the candles, "Wait I only count eight," He said and counted again.
"You forgot this one." Phoebe said and held up a birthday candle.
"A birthday Candle?" Piper asked in disbelief.
"I guess Grams was a little low on witch supplies." Phoebe assumed and lit it and put it in the pot.
"Alright, all we need is the poppet," Sam said as he handed it to Piper.
"Okay, we're all set lets cast this damn Spell," Dean said from his spot on the floor. He was very uncomfortable with doing any kind of magic. Weather or not it was natural.
"Okay, first I'll make it stronger." Piper said and placed a rose on the poppet, "'Your love with wither and depart, from my life and my heart, let me be, Jeremy, and go away forever'." She pressed the rose thorn into the poppet and placed it in the pot. "Okay, the spell's complete."
"Lets hope it works." Prue said
The six cousins all watched with suspense when there was a small explosion from within casing them all to jump.
Phoebe went and grabbed the pot to put it back in its spot when she was pulled into a vision of Jeremy running to the Manor. There spell didn't work.
"Wait! It didn't work." Phoebe said.
"What?" Piper asked full of fear again.
"The spell it didn't work." Phoebe replied.
"How do you know?" Prue asked.
"When I touched the pot I had a flash, I saw Jeremy." She said.
"You touched the pot and you saw him?" Dean asked in his protective voice.
Phoebe nodded, "He's on his way here."
That made Dean take the lead and led his cousins and brothers down the stairs to the front doors. "Ladies first," He whispered after he opened the door. The sisters scream as Sam held out his hands in a protective way around his cousins and baby brother.
"Hello ladies and gentlemen." Jeremy said sadistically.
Prue squinted her eyes and made Jeremy fly into the wall "Piper, Phoebe, Adam, Get out of here now!" She yelled and they ran upstairs leaving Sam, Dean and Prue down stairs.
"Cool Parlor trick bitch." Jeremy said. "You were always the tough one weren't you, Prue." Jeremy said.
"Don't talk to her like that." Dean yelled and shot the shot gone at Jeremy which did absolutely nothing.
Jeremy laughed evilly, "You know nothing, hunter. Rock salt on a warlock? You stupid boy!" He said.
Sam decided to try out his power and threw his hand up. He sent Jeremy into the wall and Lead Prue upstairs. Dean right behind them.
As soon as Prue went into the attic, followed by Sam and Dean, she turned to her youngest sister, "Phoebe, your right. Our powers are growing." She said as she closed the attic door.
"Put as many things against the door as you can." Piper said as Sam moved a dresser in front of it and Prue put a chair on top of the dresser.
"Take me now, Prue. My powers are stronger than yours!" Jeremey said and then laughed manically. "Do you think a chair will stop me?" He asked and it moved by itself across the room. "Do you think a dresser will stop me? Have you witches figured it out. Nothing! Nothing can keep me away." He said.
"What do we do we're trapped." Piper asked.
The door exploded and the sisters screamed and Dean held his gun to the warlock despite knowing it wouldn't do anything. "Come on we'll face him together. Do you remember the spirit board?" She asked.
"The inscription on the back!" Piper yelled and Adam remembered right away.
"The Power of Three will set us free." He recited off the tip of his tongue.
Prue Phoebe and Piper joined hands as they began to chant the spell.
"Oh what the hell," Dean said and joined hands with his two brothers.
"Ther Power of Three will set us free," The Winchester boys began with he Halliwell Sisters.
They continue the chant over and over. Then strong winds blew around both sets of siblings but they kept chanting.
"I am not the only one! I am one of millions! In places you can't even imagine! In forms you would never believe! We are hell on earth!" Jeremy said as his last words and blew up as if he had never been there.
"The Power of Three." Prue said.
"That was my vision." Adam said proudly. "I saw you saying that!" He added.

The next morning Prue walked outside and grabbed the paper, "Good morning!" Andy said from his car with a cup of coffee in his hands.
"Hey, this is a surprise." Prue said.
Andy smiled, "I've been feeling really guilty about that bad cup of coffee. I just want to make it up to you." He said.
"So you broght me a good cup of coffee?" She asked.
Andy pointed to it, "Oh this? No, this is mine. I, uh, just wanted to ask you out to dinner. Unless of course you're afraid." He said
"Afraid of what?" Prue asked.
"Oh, you know, having too good of time, stirring up old memories, rekindling an old flame." He explained.
Prue smirked and tilted her head to the side, "Hmm, good point, better not."
Andy smioled, "Okay. Friday night, eight o'clock?" He asked. When she didn't answer right away, "You're hesitating."
"Yeah, but it's not what you think. It's just that ny life has gotten a bit complicated. Can I call you?"
He gave her his card, "Take care, Prue." He said.
"Bye Andy."
The minute he walked to his car Phoebe (Who was holding Kit) , Sam, Piper and Dean came out. Adam leaned against the door.
"It's Andy. I told you I heard a mans voice." Phoebe stated.
"What did he want?" Piper asked her older sister.
"He asked me out," Prue answered.
"He did?" Sam asked with a small smile forming. "What did you say?" He asked.
"Well, I started to say yes. But then I stopped." Prue said. "I wondered if I could date. I mean, do witches date? What about hunters?" She asked. "Do they date?" She asked remembering the term Jeremy used the night before about what Dean was.
"Not only do they date but they usually get the best guys, or girls in our cousins case." She said with a smile to her three cousins.
Prue pointed at her sisters, "You two will not be laughing when this happens to you. Believe me, everything will be different now." She explained.
"At least our lives wont be boring." Phoebe said.
"But they will never be the same." Adam said sadly. "I mean, yeah powers will be great when we are on hunts but what about the hunters out there? What if they find out?" He asked his brother.
Dean looked at his younger brother, "Dad told me Hunters won't come to San Francisco, I have no clue why that is." He answered. "But you are right they will never be the same." He said.
"And this is a bad thing?" Phoebe asked.
"No but it could be a big problem." Prue said.
"Adam is right," Piper asked. "Hunters could come after us. What will we do?" She panicked.
"What cant we do?" Phoebe countered lightly.
"We are going to be careful, we're gonna be wise, and we're gonna stick together." Prue said and then turned to Dean. "All of us." She added.
"This should be interesting." Piper quipped as she went into the house followed by her sisters and cousins.
The group of siblings were seated on the couch with Dean standing in front of them, "I have been with my Dad hunting supernatural creatures." He explained as they waited for an explanation of all the guns in the house and Dean's car. "When I went with him solo, he was forced to tell me about magic."
"Why didn't dad tell us?" Adam asked a little hurt that his father didn't tell them.
Dean looked at him. "You weren't with him. You and Sam were here with Grams. They made me swear not to say anything until the time came. You guys didn't need to know." He explained and left it at that.
Prue stood up at that point, "Alright, Dean, you will need to teach all of us every thing you know so we can better defend ourselves. And we will need to learn to control our powers." She explained.
Sam went to the front door and opened it when he heard little scratching, Kit ran inside. "I agree with Prue. Lets learn to control our powers. Just not use them until we can figure out the cotrols." He agreed. He looked at the opened door and flicked a finger. The door closed on its own accord.
Now, I realize Dean was Out Of Character in the first episode here, however, in the next few he may turn into the Dean we all know and love.
The reason I went this route of Dean being the only one knowing the family secret is because Grams and John were afraid, he would cross some sort of line and turn to the dark side. So, they made the hard decision to tell him and make him swear not to tell his cousins or brothers. More on this will be revealed throughout the rest of the season.
I felt bad for taking the "Prue closing the door' scene away from Prue. But I felt Sam was a good fit for it.
