Hello there.
This is the start of a new story collection, which will mostly just be fun or fluffy stories. This is a place for stuff that's just for easy reading.
I hope you enjoy it!
In Which Fox is a Willing Prisoner.
Fox McCloud woke up slowly, without an alarm, at 6:30 AM Cornerian time. He woke up this early consistently—it was the product of military discipline and personal habit. It could be a bewildering habit at times, such as today, when the Star Fox team was on a brief sabbatical on the Great Fox to rest after a stream of missions. But try as he might, sleeping in just wasn't Fox's way of doing things.
Krystal was still asleep beside him, clinging to his side. Fox was loathe to disturb her. She was so warm and soft, and any moment spent this close to her was a good moment for him. All the same, he started getting out of bed, blinking away sleep and getting mentally ready to start the day.
Then, Krystal tightened her hold.
"Oh, no you don't," said her muffled and sleepy voice.
Fox smiled and looked down. Krystal peered at him from the corner of her eye, still buried in his chest floof.
"Today is a day off," she said.
"Yes, but I still want to get up," said Fox.
"Why?" said Krystal.
"I don't like sleeping in," he said. "You're up too, so maybe we can make breakfast for everyone."
"And they are going to be sleeping in too, because today is a day off," she said. She raised her head and gave Fox a playful glare. "You are to stay in bed with me this morning. I have ordered it. Make it so."
Fox chuckled. Krystal did tease him in a regal sort of way sometimes. "Well, ma'm, I'm afraid I will have to disobey that order," he said. He tried to get up.
Krystal sprang into action. She lowered herself just enough to wrap her legs around one of Fox's legs, to prevent him from bending his knee. Meanwhile, she wrapped her arms around him tighter. The final blow was placing her big and fluffy tail across the two of them, "binding" them together.
"You're fur conditioner," said Fox after a moment of silence, "is amazing."
Krystal laughed. "It's all part of the plan, Foxy-Woxy."
"I have miscalculated," said Fox with faux-gravity. "Truly, you are five parallel universes in front of me at all times, you dastardly vixen."
"Indeed I am," she said, lifting her tail just enough to tickle his chin. "I have you now, Captain McCloud."
Fox smiled at her. Krystal could be quite convincing in an argument. Honestly though, now that he was comfortable with Krystal wrapped around him, a quiet morning in bed didn't seem so bad at all. Even if he was willingly detained.
Krystal grabbed a book she was reading off the night stand, and Fox's portable gaming console.
"You win this one," said Fox, taking his console into his paws. "What's the score between us, by the way?"
"A billion to one, me," said Krystal, not looking up from her book.
"Amazing," said Fox, switching on his console.
What followed was some lovely quiet between the two foxes. In the busy life they lived, such moments could be rare. So Fox drank deeply from this moment; he had Krystal nearby with her calming presence, a fun game to play, and plenty of warmth from the aforementioned vixen. Yeah, he thought, this was a good morning.
Then Krystal began to look his way every so often, with a sly glint in her eyes. Fox wondered what she was thinking about. Eventually she put her book down and just looked at him with a predatory smile.
"I'm afraid to ask," said Fox, raising his eyebrows, "but what's up?"
"Oh, I would like to change our position, if you don't mind," said Krystal.
"Really? Well, sure," said Fox.
No sooner had Fox said that than Krystal was already on the move. She wrapped her arms around his head and pulled him close, pressing his head flush against her naked bosom. His whole world became fluffy and soft. She wrapped her legs around him again, and her tail was again "binding" the two of them.
"There," she said. "A much better reading position, if I do say so myself."
"Mmmph," said Fox.
"Oh, hush," she said. She batted one of his ears. "Spend some time with girls. It's comfortable."
"Mmmmph," said Fox.
"I'm sure you have it so difficult, to be such a prisoner to your girlfriend," she said, tsk-tsking. She propped her book on Fox's head. "Don't be such a boob, Fox."
Fox groaned.
"Hush," she said, batting an ear again.
"Mmmmph," said Fox, rolling his eyes. He snuggled into her hold.
And they spent the rest of that lovely morning that way, enjoy each other's company.
