I'm a cuddle bug. So is Foxy, and there is a great calm that comes into your life when your boyfriend and you can see each other, when the need arises, as the best stuffed animal in the universe.

Cuddle Struggle
Fox eyed the clock in his kitchen, and then peered at the stairway leading to the second floor of his home. It was 8:30 in the morning, Cornerian City Standard Time, and he'd been up for three hours already. Fox understood his morning habits were unusual among his circle of friends—he was the earliest riser of them all—but that wasn't stopping him from worrying about Krystal this morning; She usually got up around 8 AM most days, and for her to sleep in an extra thirty minutes, even on a day off, was unusual. Krystal liked watching him cook. She would be unhappy if he started breakfast without her there to watch, but as the minutes went by Fox was getting hungrier.
Fox was also afraid she could be having a nightmare. In the days following her arrival on Corneria and living with him, it happened often that she would wake up with a scream, or struggle in bed into the morning in the grips of some night terror. Those didn't happen very often anymore, but still…
"I'll go check on her," he said to himself.
Fox walked up to Krystal's room, and smiled at the vixen's door. She put a nameplate on it two days ago, and it read:
Krystal's Room
Foxy-Woxy's always welcome, but knock please :)
It was a little reminder that he was fortunate to have such a sweet vixen as a girlfriend. He did as the sign said, and knocked. No answer.
"Krystal?" he said. Still no answer.
He looked at his watch. 8:40 AM. What to do now?
"Fox…"
That was her voice, sleepy sounding too.
"Krys?" he said gently. He opened her door slowly.
The sweet scent of vanilla—one of Krystal's favorite scents—wafted up his nose. There was the vixen herself, under the covers and facing towards him, still very much asleep. She didn't look at all like she'd been having a nightmare. If anything, the content look on her face told him she was having a pleasant dream. He didn't want to wake her up and disturb such a peaceful scene, but breakfast was breakfast and Krystal would be loath to sleep in and miss it. She did like her food hot as well.
"Fox…" she murmured again.
Fox's ears perked up. She was talking in her sleep?
"Foxy..Woxy…" she said, snuggling into her covers.
My heart is about to explode out of my chest, thought Fox. There is too much cuteness in this room right now, but I am here for it. It was a great part of Krystal. She could be so alluring and mature in her teasing one minute, and then be incredibly adorable the next.
She started reaching a paw out in her sleep, and his heart melted further. He couldn't help but walk to her bedside and sit down, holding her paw in his and giving it a squeeze. Then she reached out with her arms and clung to him.
Fox blinked. He moved his arm a little absentmindedly, and Krystal just clung tighter.
"Mmm…" she murmured.
Her grip sure was strong, Fox thought.
"Mmm…" she murmured again, and then smiled in her sleep. "Soft…"
Fox stomach grumbled again. There were worse things in life than to experience hunger while being a cuddle toy, he figured.
"Come…here…" she said.
Fox's thoughts were occupied, so he wasn't prepared for the strong pull Krystal gave right then. Fox was jerked from sitting position to right beside her in her bed, above the covers. Before Fox could think, she had him wrapped up in an embrace, cuddled to the crook of her neck. She gave a satisfied sigh, smiled, and snuggled her cheek into Fox's fur.
Fox froze stock-still. While his brain re-booted, his senses took in everything. He was in the same bed as Krystal. She was cuddling him, and she was warm and toasty. Right as his brain caught up with everything, he chanced a glance downward and discovered that Krystal slept naked; there was an opening in the covers and he could just see the swell of her bare bosom.
Fox swallowed.
If he wasn't sure she was asleep, Fox would've thought this was all part of a plan of hers. Krystal loved teasing him with her body. Her curves pushed all his buttons, and boy, did she enjoy it. And, boy, did he enjoy it. Having her body pushed up against him like this—with naught but a bedsheet between them—was causing a stir in him. He could feel her chest flush against his chest. He wanted to wrap his arms around her, if only he could get his arms free. A hunger for her grew within. If he could wake her up, and maybe if she thought the time was right…
His reverie was broken—only slightly—by the sensation of her beginning to lick his cheek. His heart melted again. It was a deadly combination; doting love mixed with the allure of a very womanly body close by.
They sat like this for a time. The sound of her breathing, her scent, and the warmth around him created a feeling Fox was sinking into. This was good. It was all very good.
"Mmm…hmm?" Krystal murmured. Her eyes started to open just slightly.
Fox froze. Oh, goodness, he thought. What would she think? Then, when he thought about it, he calmed down. Krystal knew him. He wasn't a creep, and there was probably a good explanation for all of this. He would just explain it to her.
"Fox?"
He looked up, and their noses beeped. Whatever worry he had vanished when he saw the smile on her face.
"Aww," she said. "I was wondering why the giant Fox plush I was cuddling in my dreams felt so real."
"You dreamed I was a stuffed animal?" said Fox. He smiled back.
"Yup," she said. "I'm a cuddlebug, darling." She winked.
"I noticed," said Fox. He snuggled into her. "You are pretty comfy yourself."
"Oh?" said Krystal. "Might that be because I'm wearing nothing underneath these covers?"
That look. That look with that tone of voice got that stir in his heart revving up again…
"…we got time before breakfast, you know," said Fox.
"Do we now?" said Krystal. She licked her lips. She was picking up the cues.
Fox kissed her, and the vixen leaned into the kiss and sighed. His arms snaked around her. Yes, they did have some time before breakfast. And so the two of them made a very lovely—and loud—experience of it.
