Welcome to Part 2 of Ice Ice Baby. We're picking up where part 1 left off.
"Looking back now, I wanna know the same thing," Anne Maria said.
"Same here," Scott said. "And there was also something about Beverly. I love his brain power, but I hate going with ideas that involve explosions."
"That was some nasty fall you had there," Mike said.
"I agree," Zoey said.
After everyone gets to the top, Anne Maria tries to punch Jo, but ends up punching Brick instead, surprisingly fixing his arm.
Brick: Hey! It's fixed. Thanks a-
Unfortunately for Brick, his joy for that is short lived because he falls off the edge, probably dislocating his other arm.
Chris: Who else is heading for a fall? Literally. Find out after the break.
"In my defense, I was supposed to hit Jo, not Brick," Anne Maria said.
"Still can't believe it turned into one of the happiest accidents I ever witnessed," Cameron said.
"Albeit short lived because I fell," Brick reminded.
"What is it with Chris letting the island get revenge on us and the former players?" Zoey asked.
"That's what I wanna know," Mike said. "But at least Lightning was able to shut up for a bit."
"I agree," Jo said. "Reverse psychology does have its occasional perks."
"We can see why," Anne Maria commented.
"We all can," Scott said.
As the second challenge was warming up, the contestants were freezing down.
Chris: Greetings ice teens. Cold enough for ya?
Everyone is shivering from the cold.
Chris: I'll take that as a yes.
"Is that son of a bitch insane?" Anne Maria asked.
"Just like the old players when they went to Sweden and the Yukon," Jo said.
"He could've at least given us some warmer clothes," Scott said.
"I know," Brick said. "Like some jackets and snow boots."
"It was like 27 degrees up there," Cameron said.
The second challenge is a "Capture the Flag" type of challenge where each of the teams owns an ice castle, and must destroy each other's castles, either by melting or by snowballs, in order to capture the other team's flag.
"I love the capture the flag game," Mike said.
"I remember playing it with my old classmates during recess," Zoey said.
"It was the first time I got to play," Cameron said.
The rats went with the shack.
Sam: Great. The crappiness is thorough.
"Not my best idea," Scott said.
"You think?" Dawn and Sam both asked.
Scott: *In the confessional* All part of the plan! [awkward chuckle] Is it hot in here?
"Probably because we were out in all that cold," Sam said.
"That might be why," Cameron said.
"I still think he should have given us clothes that are meant to keep us warm," Anne Maria said.
"Me too," Dawn said. "I love nature, but I don't want to freeze to death in it."
Meanwhile, the maggots are ecstatic for the fort they got.
"We got the good fort," Jo said.
"If we vacation in Sweden or the Yukon, we should totally make one like that," Brick said.
"I'm in," Cameron said.
"Us too," Zoey and Mike said at once. "Jinks."
The 2 of them laughed.
"Count me in," Anne Maria said. "Just remember to bring some winter gear," Scott said.
"After seeing that?" Brick commented. "That's the first thing we're gonna remember to bring."
Anne Maria: What a bunch of suckers. Maggots rule!
"Heck yeah!" Jo and Brick said together.
They gave each other a high 5. Zoey and Mike did the same, along with Cameron and Anne Maria. As the teams settled with their forts, Chris explains that the teams had to use the shovels given to fire mystery balls.
Zoey: Why are they called mystery balls?
Chris explains that it's because they contain objects that could damage select players, forcing them to choose wisely.
"There's your answer to why," Mike said to Zoey.
"The game hasn't even started, and already he wants to make it unfair?" Scott asked.
"That is messed up," Dawn commented.
Both Brick and Jo wanted to be captain for their team, so they thumb wrestle it out, with Jo being the winner.
Brick: "I Never Met A Girl Stronger Than Me, Captain! Not Even My Mom!"
"You must really love your mom," Jo said.
"Yeah," Brick sighed. "And hey, you got one win that day."
"So, Captain Psycho reverse-o," Anne Maria said. 'What was the first move?"
"Captain Psycho reverse-o?" Jo asked.
"Yeah," Anne Maria said. "You became captain, and used reverse psychology, so I nicknamed you Captain Psycho reverse-o. Now you know how it feels to have an uncool nickname."
"In my defense, I wasn't the first to give uncool nicknames," Jo said.
"Let me guess," Scott said. "Jane Lynch beat you because of her character on Glee."
Jo: *In the confessional* Huh, seems Brick is a gentleman. He hardly tried, and chivalry is a weakness I can take advantage of.
And Jo does, putting Brick, Zoey and Anne Maria in charge of getting the flag, leaving the remaining maggots to defend the fort.
"The game is about to be on," Zoey said.
"This is gonna be fun," Sam said.
Mike: *While grabbing Zoey's hand* Be careful; I think Scott's psycho.
Zoey: And you, don't let Svetlana pull a hamstring.
Mike hugged Zoey, thanking her.
"Now I see why your code is 'Never leave a cadet behind', Brick," Mike said.
"Me too," Dawn said. "Some people find friends to be like family, and family is one thing highly valuable."
"I know," Brick said. "I wish my mom was here with me."
"I sometimes miss my animals when I'm away," Dawn commented.
Zoey: *In the Confessional* The guys back home are gorgeous, but they are all hockey thugs and juvie rejects with a collective IQ of 10. Mike is hot and smart! I was really starting to think hot smart guys were imaginary like unicorns and perfect hair!
"You thought I was a unicorn?" Mike asked with a shocked look.
"I was talking about most of the guys in my hometown," Zoey told Mike. "You're nothing like them."
Mike thanked her with a hug, making everyone go awe.
"I still don't get why some out there can't stand the 2 of you," Jo said. "I see nothing wrong."
Seconds later, the game was on, but the sun was coming out hot.
Chris: Hurry up! My ice is melting, and your forts will too if the sun gets higher.
Sam went with Lightning to get the flag but slips along the way.
"I was okay," Sam said. "But sliding on the ice made me go faster than running."
"I find it cool," Mike said.
"Reminds me of ice skating," Dawn said. "We should see if Sky wants to come skating with some of us."
"Just don't do anything those ice dancers did," Jo said.
Sam: Looks like the thunder's gonna arrive before the lightning. *To Lightning* I'm thunder!
Realizing the joke he made, everyone busted out laughing.
"Good one Sam," Dakota said.
"Finally," Anne Maria said. "Something other than Mike's silly alter egos to get all of us in a silly mood."
"That was good," Mike said.
"You're funny in this season," Jo said.
"Thanks," Sam said. "Still regret returning for the all-stars season. The pancake disqualification made me the 4th one off the island."
Everyone felt bad for how he got eliminated, but from what I heard, it may have been probably for the best. As for Sam during the challenge, some ice broke, causing him to fall into the water.
"Talk about a deep freeze," Anne Maria said.
Everyone laughed again with Sam joining in this time.
"What is it about the 4th or 5th episode of every Total Drama season being so hilarious?" Cameron asked.
"I know," Scott said. "Episode 4 in season 2 had some silly dance moves."
"And the 5th one in season 3 really had me laughing," Anne Maria said.
"I know," Zoey said. "Chris McLean in a boy band?"
"Now I see why 'What's Not to Love About New York' has become an instant favorite," Dakota said.
"Don't forget the silly blue moon," Mike said. "That made episode 5 of all stars really silly. Probably one of the only good episodes from that season."
"No kidding," Zoey said.
Everyone else was in total agreement with what she said.
Back in the fort, Scott finds a snowball to throw, but it blows up in his face.
Dawn: You weren't held enough as a child.
"So maybe my cousins did get more attention than I did," Scott said. "I grew up on a busy farm.
"I can see why," Dawn said.
Scott: *In the confessional* Okay, she's gotta go, too!
"It's too early for that, Scott," Sam said.
"What a doofus you're starting to act like," Cameron said.
"Sha-airhead," Jo said. "Thanks a lot, Lightning! Now, you got me doing that."
"I am so glad Lightning isn't with us," Anne Maria said.
"Me too," Brick said.
The next snowball launched hits the Maggots' fort. Jo orders the team to attack, but Cameron is guarding the flag, and Anne Maria is spraying her hair again.
Jo: Hey spray head! Didn't I tell you to go capture their flag?
"You could be participating more," Brick said.
"Remember what I said in that confessional?" Anne Maria commented. "No way I was risking the expense of my looks for money some call a lie."
"A lie?" the others asked in shock.
"That's what Alejandro told me last time I saw him," Anne Maria answered. "At least it wasn't a lie in that race Don hosted."
"The ridonculous race?" Cameron asked.
"How'd you know," Brick asked.
Cameron told them, "I saw the whole race. Geoff, Noah and Owen were in it."
The others couldn't believe it.
"I wish I could be in that race," Dawn said.
"Me too," Anne Maria said. "It would be fun to go see the world."
Angry, Jo throws Anne Maria's spray can, manipulating her into participating.
Anne Maria: Oh! This ain't over! Lousy Jo, making me run out here.
"More reverse psychology?" Scott asked.
"Hey!" Jo commented. "Whatever it takes to get Anne Maria to participate with us."
"Thanks for that," Anne Maria said.
"For once," Mike said. "I can't believe she did something right."
After seeing the snowball is deflected by Anne Maria's hair, Brick decides to use her as a shield. While Zoey wants Brick to forget the idea, Brick tells her there's no other choice.
Anne Maria: Hey! Quit Pushing!
"You know I was doing fine without you pushing me," Anne Maria told Brick.
"Told you," Zoey said.
"Sorry," Brick said. "But there was no other choice at the time."
The giant beetle emerges from the snow as Scott continues to throw snowballs. Scott, who is terrified, tries to remind it of its family reunion, and Dawn waves at it, calming the beetle.
Scott: Don't hurt us, hurt them.
The beetle does so, impressing Dawn.
Dawn: I didn't know you were a beetle whisperer.
"One of the perks to growing up on a farm," Scott said. "You spend most of your time talking to animals every day."
"Cool," Cameron said. "I have got to come visit your farm one day."
"Me too," Dawn said.
"I can help milk some cows," Zoey said.
As the game continued, Mike is told to summon Svetlana, getting on the catapult and flying into the other team's fort.
"If something like that happens again, we can help you control it," Anne Maria said.
"We all will," Sam said.
"You're with great friends now," Zoey said.
Mike thanked them and they all joined for a big hug. Mike emerges from the snow and successfully gets the flag.
"Great job, Mike!" Zoey said.
"You're a natural," Anne Maria said.
"What a brave soul," Brick commented.
"Thanks," Mike said. "But there's one problem with that."
Mike then emerges from the snow as a new personality known as Vito, who acts tough by removing his shirt and pushing Scott aside, which Anne Maria finds attractive.
Zoey: Mike! Let's get it back to our fort!
Vito: Ey-ey. You want to touch the Vito, you gotta make an appointment.
Anne Maria: Now that's what I'm talking about.
Except for Mike and Anne Maria, everyone's jaws dropped.
"What?" Zoey started.
"The," Jo continued.
"Hell?" Scott finished.
"Another one?" Brick asked. "That's impossible."
"I can't believe it," Dawn said. "You were right about not controlling those other personalities."
"Meanwhile, I can't believe I fell in love with that," Anne Maria said. "I should've known it was Mike all along."
Moments later, Scott finds out what's causing the Maggots' fort to melt and gets an idea. Scott throws a snowball at B's melting device, tilting the mirror to reflect the heat back at Sam, which also reflects on the Rats' fort, causing it to melt.
"Nice going, Scott," Dawn said. "You cost your team the challenge."
"How was I supposed to know it would hit our fort?" Scott asked.
The Maggots become the winners and get to sip on some hot chocolate.
Jo: *In the confessional* I achieved two things today: won the challenge and Brick will be my peon until I render him useless.
Mike: *In the confessional* Okay, did Vito show up earlier? Oh… Chester and Svetlana are hard enough to keep in line, but Vito… [sighs] Things just went from tough to suck-tacular.
"No kidding," Sam said.
"I knew it was gonna get crazy," Mike said.
"You weren't kidding," Scott said.
"I can believe I was in love with one of your other personalities," Anne Maria said. "I'm starting to regret it."
Back at camp, Scott gave Lightning a fake reason to vote off B.
"I don't remember anything like that," Sam said.
"Me neither," Zoey said.
Lightning: *In the confessional* B might've missed with the challenge, but Sam messed with the Lightning! Time for Thunder to say Shabye-bye. Hey, can somebody write that down?
At the elimination ceremony, Dakota returns, and it is confirmed that she just wanted more screen time instead of more money.
"I knew it was a desperate cry for love," Dawn said. "You love the show so much, you don't wanna leave because you think it's a step closer to your own spin off." Dakota sighed.
"It's true," she said. "I did want it to be the first step to my own spin off."
"I can see why," Brick said.
"Me too," Jo commented.
As Dakota is sent off to be an intern, B is sent off the island, and Chris signs the episode off. Anne Maria apologized to Mike.
"Sorry I mistook one of your personalities for someone really hot."
"It was a silly misunderstanding," Mike said.
"I agree," Zoey said. "Thank god it didn't last too long."
"You got that, right," Cameron said. "So, Jo, when did you first use reverse psychology?"
Jo told them, "It was 9th grade. My classmate, Sanders, was going to lose the game for our high school track team. I told her it was a shame they don't have police green suits."
"What happened next?" Sam asked.
Jo answered, "she powered ahead, and came from behind to jump into 3rd place. Of course, yours truly came 1st."
"Wow," Brick said. "That was pretty cool."
"Thanks," Jo said. "But I limit myself to just using it on one person every few days. My high school principal thought I would get carried away."
"Nice to hear that," Dakota said.
Up next is episode 4: Finders Creepers. After that is the first break, so don't miss it.
