Disclaimer: I do not own Goblin Slayer.
"Hello. I am called, Black Swordsman. And this is my first Adventure. Why am I called, the Black Swordsman, you might ask? You'll find out, sooner or later. I was born and raised in a normal town where I had grown up with a mom who is kind and loving to me... A famous Blacksmith stepfather who taught me the dangers of the world and trained me in many different craftsmanship-especially swords. And also, I have the cutest little half-sister from my mom's second marriage.
"When I was a kid, I had grown self-aware of the dangers of non-human species such as Dragons, Orcs and especially Goblins when I heard they raided a village that a guy who calls himself Goblin Slayer once lived in, long ago. I personally have never met the guy."
"I have a goal. To stop terror and save innocent lives. Wish me luck."
The Black Swordsman's age... is between the age of Fifteen and Nineteen. My skin color is... My height is... The shape and color of my hair is... The color of my eyes is... What kind of black clothing I wear... And my weapon of choice is... a black sword.
It was a normal sunny day in a not named place. The sky was blue, people were walking it was peaceful around these parts. Black Swordsman had opened the door and let himself inside the Guild Office. As Black Swordsman had opened up the door, he met a busty woman with blonde hair and golden eyes at the front desk. She had her hair tied into a side plait, and she also wore a guild uniform. She was called, Guild Girl.
"Hello, sir! Welcome to our Guild office!" Guild Girl said all cheerful.
"Hi." I responded as I arrived at the front desk inside the office.
"So, are you new here?" Guild Girl asked.
"Yes." Black Swordsman answered.
"And do you know how to read and write?" Guild Girl asked.
"Yes." Black Swordsman answered again.
"Good," Guild Girl then gave him an application. "All I need you to do is fill out this application." She passed the application to Black Swordsman.
"Okay," Black Swordsman took the application and filled it out as fast as he could without skipping through it, then gave it back to the woman at the front desk when I was done. "Here you go."
"Wow, that was fast." Guild Girl was surprised. She then looked over at his application. "Okay. It says that your age is... and that you were trained in craftsmanship." she asked while reading the application.
"That's right. And I also learned to duck and cover." Black Swordsman joked. "And I almost forgot. I know how to shoot arrows, too. I was trained by a Blacksmith, by the way, and..." As Blacksmith kept talking, what Black Swordsman had no knowledge of was those three teenagers, such as Warrior, Wizard and Fighter were sitting at a round table. They were waiting to find some more allies, until they saw Black Swordsman.
"Here." Guild Girl placed a tag on the front desk. "This will serve as part of your identification."
Black Swordsman took the tag and stared at it. "Is this..." He looked at Guild Girl.
"There are ten ranks from lowest to highest. From the bottom, you'll start with Porcelain, then Obsidian, then Steel, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Bronze, Silver, then the second highest is Gold. And last but not least, the highest is Platinum. However, the highest rankings you will see the most is silver. If you look at your tag, you will see that you have a Porcelain tag which is the lowest of the rankings." Guild Girl stated.
"I see. I'm simply starting from the bottom in order to get to platinum." Black Swordsman said.
"Correct. If something on a quest you take ever goes wrong, it can simply identify you." Guild Girl also stated. "That's it for your registration." She then pointed at the quest board. "If you look behind you, you'll see a number of quests that you could take that is suitable for you. Or you could join a Guild which has higher ranking than you." Guild Girl stated.
"It's okay. I like starting off, small and working my way up." Black Swordsman stretched his arms up in the air.
"Um, excuse me. Is this the Guild Office?" Priestess suddenly walked in the Guild Office through the front door.
Black Swordsman gave Priestess some room by walking back from the Guild desk.
"Mm-hmm. You've come to the right place." Guild Girl nodded. "I shall explain you everything-just as I explained to him."
Priestess looked at Black Swordsman.
"Hey." Black Swordsman normally waved.
"Hello." Priestess respectfully replied, then looked back at Guild Girl.
A few minutes after Guild Girl had Priestess fill out the same application and explained the rules to Priestess.
"Now do you understand the rules, as well?" Guild Girl asked Priestess.
"Mm-hmm. I do." Priestess replied.
Warrior overheard Priestess, saying that she's a healer. He left the table and decided to confront Black Swordsman at the desk. He leant on the Guild Girl's front desk. "Hey, we're gonna go on a quest, you guys wanna come with us?" the Warrior asked both Priestess and Black Swordsman.
"Hm?" Priestess turned her attention to Warrior. "Are you talking to me?"
"Yeah. Both of you and him." Warrior pointed not only at Priestess, but at Black Swordsman as well.
"You want me, too?" Black Swordsman pointed at himself.
"Yeah. My adventurer party needs a healer and an archer. We couldn't help but eavesdrop on your conversations learning that you were also a healer and you also being an archer." Warrior said, feeling confident.
"Yeah. That's true." Black Swordsman nodded.
"We have an urgent quest attack and we're looking to add someone with the right skills in training as soon as possible. Would you both like to come with us?" Warrior asked.
Black Swordsman and Priestess glanced at each other, temporarily.
"That depends, what kind of quest is it?" Black Swordsman asked.
"Goblin slaying." Warrior said with confidents.
Guild Girl gasped.
"You're gonna go after goblins?" Priestess asked.
"Yep." Warrior replied.
Black Swordsman looked at Warrior a bit weirdly. "Really? What for?"
"They attacked a village not too long ago. They kill people, steal livestock, supplies, enchanted items, and even kidnapped local girls. We need to rescue them as soon as we can." Warrior said as he winked at Guild Girl.
'Steal livestock and... kidnapping local girls?' Black Swordsman thought.
Two girls such as Wizard and Fighter then walked up behind Warrior listening to his story.
Black Swordsman look at the Wizard and Fighter while Warrior was bragging towards Guild Girl. Black Swordsman glanced at Wizard, first. But was soon met with irritating emerald green eyes.
"What?" Wizard asked acting in a rude manner.
Black Swordsman blinked, then turned to Fighter. As they locked eyes, he noticed that she acted a bit shy. As she noticed Black Swordsman was looking at her. She tried to hide her blush.
"All of you are Porcelain ranked, right? It's too risky for you, newbies." Guild Girl said.
"Oh, please. The five of us can handle a bunch of filthy goblins, no problem. Right girls?" Warrior turned and asked Wizard and Fighter.
"R-right." Fighter stuttered. "So, are you both in?" Fighter asked both Black Swordsman and Priestess with the blush on her face a little lightened.
"Just hurry up and decide already, you two. I don't have all day." Wizard said as she gave me more attitude.
Priestess thought about the quest for a couple of seconds then, looked at the three. As she was about to open her mouth...
"I'm in." Black Swordsman answered.
"Okay, that's one!" Warrior was happy that Black Swordsman was joining their quest. "Now, what about you?" Warrior asked Priestess.
Priestess cleared her throat a bit. "Okay, I'll do it. I'll help you."
"Alright! We got five party members now!" Warrior said with excitement.
"It's good to have you!" Fighter said as she blushed as she looked at Priestess.
"Those goblins won't stand a chance." Warrior grinned.
"Don't get too excited." Wizard told Warrior.
Black Swordsman stared at his new party. 'Not only am I in a Guild now, but I also have new friends. I hope that we can all live a long life.'
