Eda looked over the confused girl.
"Damn, those guards really did a number on you." She said, "I'll talk to them about that later, right now, let's get you healed."
Eda made a spell circle and Luz's body started to heal.
"There we go, now tell me, what's Lily been up to in the Human World?" Eda asked, "Can't wait to tell our parents that they're grandparents."
Luz looked very weary with this woman. How are you supposed to react when someone that's arresting you says she's your aunt?
"H-h-how do I know you're telling the truth?" Luz said.
Eda reached into her hair and pulled out an old book. She flipped through it and showed Luz a specific page. Luz looked at the book, an old year book, and saw a woman named Lilith Clawthorne. Luz nodded, that was definetly her mom, if those pictures at her grandparents place was anything to go by.
"Okay, that's my mom, that doesn't prove anything." Luz said.
"Stubborn." Eda said, "I knew that was a Clawthorne trait."
Eda flipped to another page and Luz looked at the person named Edalyn Clawthorne. For further evidence, Eda pulled out an old photo of her and Lilith. Luz looked at it and knew she couldn't deny it anymore.
"Okay, you're my Aunt, now let me go back to the Human Realm." Luz said.
"Oh, silly child, I can't do that." Eda said, "You have something that I need, something important."
Eda lifted the portal key, making Luz's eyes go wide. Eda smirked.
"Now, I'll have the guards bring you to a secure place, while I end what started long ago." Eda said.
Eda snapped her fingers, and the guards came in. They grabbed Luz and carried her out, while Eda looked at the key.
"Finally." Eda said, "I can do what I've wanted to do for decades."
In a lab, Lilith was wearing a lab coat with goggles on. She was looking through a microscope while writing something down on a notepad. She heard the door open and her expression dropped.
"The sign said to not disturb me." Lilith said, "I am currently trying to cure breast cancer, if you need something please make an appointment with my assistant."
"Really, even for family?"
Lilith went stiff and she dropped her pen and notepad. She turned around and saw the same bright orange hair she hasn't seen in decades.
"E-E-Edalyn?"
