Author note:
Just to inform you, here are two announcments for people that are reading it:
1 - Time for giving comments about second series has passed, since no one gave any suggestions and I jumped to (almost completley) new idea on my own that will be revealed sooner than later.
2 - Because of that, this series is going to be update less frequently, but without being out on hiatus or cancelled, I guess my brain lacks motivation since there aren't as much reviews as previously who act on me like a dopamine rush. And because of that I need to expand my range of writing over other communities so I won't quit writing as a whole right now.
3 - In case you were wondering why I make a short chapter again, look to points 1 and 2
Anyways, for everyone that is still reading it: enjoy new chapter!
Sebastian pow:
- Okay Young boy, I know this sounds super dumb but in order of making your Alpha Hydranoid grab maiden powers you need to trust me, are you still in this? - Asked me Volt as we walked forward in his (secret) laboratory for construction of mechanical bakugan, obviously filled with advanced technology, metalic mechanical parts all across my eyesight and various tubes made precisely for storing incomplete bakugans.
- You really ask your teammates about trusting you? Come on man, get serious. - I replied to him with annoyance, handing over my bakugan.
- Yes I do, I warned you about question being super dumb too. - He quickly replied with tiny grin on his face, almost forcing me to back a few steps. - Now watch me doing greatest thing in my whole, short life. - He added in genuine proud, upon putting my bakugan into a big tube made of reinforced glass (Volt already explained to me specifics of the process.) that was linked by a tight pipe to a chamber above it filled with essence of fall maiden powers. Then our team's scientist turned a few knobs on nearby technical panel and golden maze went downwards.
- Whoa... That's going to be great, succesful or not. - I said, watching my Hydranoid being covered in pure magic.
- Sure it is. - Noddled Volt, doing the same from technical management side of room. - And it's finished by... Now! - He added in a tone of mad scientist as for a quater of a second we were both blinded by a brown light, but didn't had a typical flashbang effects like problems with seeing or feeling of eyesockets burning alive.
- IT is complete. - Volt quickly reacted, taking the newly formed bakugan from maitenance zone and giving him to half open spot on another technical board to analyse.
- Hmm... 800g, Pyrus attribute, known as... Wait, name is undecided. - Said Volt, slowly reading a textwall of data and characteristics of new bakugan.
- May I take it? - I asked him, looking at my guardian still in adjustment phase.
- Under one condition. - Quickly replied to me Volt, as he stand up from the table. - Don't use him for a week and inform me ASAP if something happen with him, regardless what it is. After this time, come here again and we decide what's next after rutine checking of his condition. - He said, now completley serious, giving me back my Hydranoid.
- Sure I will! Goodbye man! - I said, tuning around and leaving the room, happy from having such a great friend.
(Somwhere around this time, Ozpin's office in Beacon Academy.)
Narrator pow:
- Sir, Sir, Sir. We have a problem. - Said Ironwood, as he enter the room where Ozpin and Glynda currently were.
- What problem? - Asked Ozpin, taking another sip of coffee.
- A problem that is really a problem. - Pouted atlesian general, catching himself by knees and taking a deep breath.
- Explain please. - Scoffed Glynda, hostile towards such behavior in her presence.
- Amber... Is... Dead for sure. - Said, Ironwood, suprising both members of academy. - Cinder doesn't have any power too! Thew were both taken in some way. - He added, completley lost in what was happening.
- Impossible! The aparature we gave her should keep her alive! - Shouted Glynda, losing temper out of pure shock.
- Then go there and see in your own eyes... - Replied atlesian general in sąd tone, before the two left Ozpin alone.
- Thanks for telling us James, that definitley changes current situation. - Said Ozpin, looking at two members of his group walk away. - "This is bad. Whoever has those powers is a potental ally, enemy or random person outside of main intrested for both sides, but we need to find this person as soon as possible and make her be at our side, willing or not." - Ozpin thought, before giving new directions to react to such unexpected events.
(Timeskip, Sebastain's apartment, next day, morning. )
Sebastian pow:
- Now what? - I asked myself when I saw my guardian wibrate on my desk in bedroom. Obviously, I decided to get closer so I could check what's going on, and then the image I saw strucked me. Bakugan had open in his ball form and revealed itself to be a one-headed dragon with long, thick staff presumeably used as a weapon. It also contained golden and brown stripes all across it's body in symetrical, yet chaotic ways.
Author pow:
If you want to have more precise look on how Fall Hydranoid looks like, Imagine a Pyrus Dharax, but with wings go sideways up like Saurus arms, along with a dozen of golden sticks around his neck for armor and protection of this weak spot.
Sebastian pow:
- Umm... Hello? - I asked newly woken up bakugan unsure how to react.
- Hello to you, young man. - Said to me bakugan with highly feminine voice, staring at my face. - I am Fall Hydranoid. Also, you don't need to worry about me leaving you, bakugans that become concious still remember where they belong, which includes their brawler. - He gave his statement, letting my fears of losing him go away instantly.
- That's great! I do have a lot to explain. - I replied, getting close to having a seizure.
(Timeskip, one hour later, Volt's lab.)
- So, ready to have a battle trial? - Asked me Volt, as he loaded his gauntlet, standing in front of me in big rectangle, used by him to make battle tests.
- I got to learn her abilities someday, you know! - I quickly replied, taking out my dimension card.
- Gauntlet power strike!/Field open! - We both shouted, as time froze in place and space for a battle was set.
- Gate card set! - Shouted Volt, as he throw a gate card on the middle of the ground. - Bakugan brawl! Subterra Mechasaurus stand! - He added upon seeing a Saurus fully covered in all sorts of metal rise up from the ground.
- Let's do this Higanbana style! Bakugan brawl! Fall Hydranoid stand! - I shouted as I throw my bakugan on the field, who upon standing on the field, open himself into her true form of a dragon with red and gold colours upon rising in the air.
Narrator pow:
Sebastian - 100%
(Fall) Hydranoid - 800g
Volt - 100%
Mechasaurus - 500g
- Nice evolution happen there, I see. - Said Volt, staring at the dragon with widely opened eyes. - But you have ho hold over it. Ability card activate! Ground Smash! - He shouted, as his bakugan stomped the ground a few times and created multiple cracks in the ground.
Hydranoid - 800g = 500g
- My turn now. - Smirked Sebastian, seeing that his bakugan was unaffected so far by attack. - Ability card activate, WMD Laser! - He reacted, activating his abilty, upon which Hydranoid mouth began to glow in deep red colour, while his neck generated bright brown lightning.
Mechasaurus - 500g = -500g
- Whoa! Hold on! - Shouted Volt, tremboing upon power of Seb's guardian.
- Here. We. Go! - Screamed Hydranoid, unleashing lightning boosted laser on Mechasaurus, vaporizing him on impact.
- Ough! That was too heavy. - Said Sebastian, as he saw Mechasaurus return to ball form with smoke coming out of him.
Volt - 100% = 0%
- I agree, but over time our knowledge of how to properly use this power will surely increase. - Said Hydranoid, returning to her owner's hand.
- That was heavy, no wonder this attack has WMD in it's name. - Said Volt, lowering his head. - From now on we will work on power control and threat assessment, so this stuff doesn't happen to random village. - Eks-Vexos informed his acolyte before tuning around to his maintenance station.
- Oh well, at least I'm overpowered by now. - Said Fall Hydranoid, upon which Sebastian facepalmed.
- Hey, take it easy, will you? I still haven't told you my real name. - Said females dragon to her young brawler.
- Really? Then what am I supossed to call you? - He asked in response.
- Well... You can call me Amber, aka. Fall Hydranoid. - She informed him with neutral tone.
