Okay, everyone! Sorry for the super long time it took to get this chapter out! I was called in for jury duty and the case lasted longer than it really should have. And, after that was outta the way, I actually ended up getting some chickens. So, lmao, for the last few weeks, I've been building a big coop/run for them. They're gonna be free range mostly. But, still. I wanted to make sure they had room at night. And, most of the coops in the store were either prefabs or fully prebuilt. And, none of them were big enough for the number of chickens I got. So, I just decided to make my own! And... Well, I have the coop done now, so they're in there for now. But, the run isn't finished yet. So, I still have some work to do on it. But, I decided it had been to long since I'd updated this story. And, despite the fact the chickens actually grow pretty fast, I figured I could squeeze out a chapter before needing to finish the run.
.
rtdeal: Ah, I'm happy not everyone hates my short chapters. I still kick myself when I can only get out 2,000 words in one chapter though. I wish life could leave me alone so I could get more time. Though, being 22 years old now... life is quickly beginning to catch up to me leaving me less and less time. I really should have started writing this fic well before I did. I knew it was gonna take awhile and to make it worse, I ended up severely underestimating my time frame. Haha. I was stupid to think I could get this entire thing out in a year. I think its coming up on about 2 and a half years now? Or maybe it's almost 3? I'm not really sure. The days sorta start to blend together when there's so much to do in life.
Also, I spend 60,000 dollar on my ex for... I guess we could say medical reasons. This was obviously right before I broke up with her, not after. But... you can tell I still regret it nonetheless. Not to mention she's had her new boyfriend stalking and harassing me on facebook for three months now along with spreading rumors about me ironically claiming I was stalking her. That of course got some of her lady friends to attack me as well, though after I showed them pics of all my conversations wither, they quickly turned around on her and started chewing her out instead. So, I just ended up getting off facebook because I don't care about dealing with that kind of drama when life has so much else to offer. Hopefully she'll get bored and knock it off. I'm not sure what legal action I could or couldn't take against her considering she's in Canada and I'm in the US. But, for now, I'm just trying to ignore it. I was already in court last month to serve on the jury and I'm not eager to return... even if the judge was kinda cute.
Hellsink Bathhall: Ah, you don't need to worry about my writing getting any darker because of Madison. Haha, it was already gonna be fucked up from the beginning. Ooh, boy. I can't wait till I get to the really weird sex scenes near the end where everything kinda turns more gross than arousing. Holy shit, I'm already so excited to start writing it, but I feel like I'm not even halfway there yet! Like, have this one scene! That's gonna be like... really gross, at least for people who don't look up super weird porn. And like... okay, I can't say anything else, because there's a spoiler for something major that happens Asuka in it! But, like, I'm praying it's gonna come off as really nice and gross and awkward. I don't even have a fetish for this stuff, but I kinda just want to show the mental stresses the pilots go through. And, as time goes on, they're gonna do some weird stuff as their mental states fluctuate, deteriorate, and regenerate.
Don't worry though! Most of the sex scenes are not gonna be really weird! They're gonna be more passionate and loving and precious. But, I need that balance of "Aww" and "Eww!"
And, as for what Seele/Kaworu want from Asuka (as well as the others), I will be covering that but... I don't wanna spoil anything just yet. But, they're all going to have their convoluted rolls to play and there will be much and more interchange between the different parties trying to define those roles; I will say that much.
starburst98: Ah, well, we will be coving these syncing phenomonon in the uh... well, in the future. I mean, Ritsuko already touched on it a bit in past chapters, but she'll also be covering it some in next chapter as well. I think I can say that without spoiling to much about this chapter.. I mean, it's only a cursory connection. Uhm, anyways! Like I said. I have big... huge! grand plans. And... well, we'll just see where... exactly they go.
.
Please... look forward to it, as Naoki Yoshida would say when he can't say anymore. (Can anyone tell I'm a huge Final Fantasy XIV freak? I- I mean fan!)

"God damn it! I can't believe this is happening again!" Misato whimpered as she trembled in the passenger seat of Kaji's Rolls Royce.
"Don't worry, Misato. They were okay last time. They'll be okay this time."
"So what? So what!? Now we know this can happen again! And it will happen again! What if it happens in the middle of a deployment! They'd all die, Kaji! They'd all die! And if they die, all of us will die too! Everyone would die!"
"Calm down, Misato! That's not going to happen!"
"HOW DO YOU KNOW!?"
"I DON'T, DAMN IT! But worrying about hypotheticals isn't helping anyone right now. Get on the phone and call Ritsuko, would you? Tell her to have a room ready for them at NERV hospital."
"Y-yeah… You're right. I'm sorry."
Misato reached into her bag and pulled out her cell phone before proceeding to speed dial Ritsuko's number.
"Ritsuko? Yeah- something's wrong," Misato said as her trembling voice spoke into the phone.
Kaji scowled as he looked out over the dark road. The sun had set awhile ago, and luckily, there weren't too many people on the street. That was probably for the better as he calmly edged over the speed limit, trying to keep his cool as worry set in.
'Asuka...' the man thought as he glanced out the rear view mirror.

-All The Little Angels-
/
"Your coming was foretold, servant of the Lilin. Or perhaps you serve another," a deep thundering voice said, causing the air around Rei to reverberate.
The blue haired girl slowly opened her eyes and sat up from where she had lain.
Beneath her were once pearly stone bricks, faded by time and covered in gray lichen. Above her was a pale golden and clouded sky. The clouds seemed to glow, though there was no visible sun to be seen.
Dazed, she cast about, not realizing where she was or how she had gotten here. All around her were flowering, but nearly dead trees. Decay purple and white petals danced about in the gentle breeze. It appeared as though she were in some manner of courtyard, but one that had been long since forsaken and had allowed nature to retake the reigns in reclaiming the towering ivory buildings surrounding the courtyard.
"What… is this place? Where am I?" Rei asked as she looked around and examined the abandoned spires and white ruins.
A bright golden light suddenly shone like a thousand suns in the center of the courtyard.
"I am the angel of free will. My name is Tabris and all paths lead through me."
The light faded and there stood a knight of sorts, clad in gilded, gold-tinted, pearl armor and a white cape. He held a massive white greatsword that looked to be made more of stone than steel.
"All of the figures and figments of history! All of it leads to this! Curse not your fate nor its executor, child of Lilith. Raise your shield against the falling light and raise your sword against the coming night. The hearts of men are black with corruption and must needs be cleansed!"
Despite the relatively small stature of the knight, the voice seemed to speak outwards from within the entire world. Foreboding and ruinous and powerful enough to rattle bones and rend flesh when it spoke.
"You are an angel? Then… you are my enemy," Rei stated with determination and mild aggression.
"Heheh, so sayeth the girl who hath divinity coursing through her life's blood," the knight chuckled.
Rei's resolve faltered for a moment hearing those words, though she didn't let it show.
'How? How does he know that?' Rei wondered to herself as she spread her legs out, assuming a battle stance despite having no weapons.
"Come, then! Show me your constitution!" The knight said as white stone wings suddenly sprouted from behind his shoulders.
He lunged through the air at the tiny girl, the massive stone sword sweeping the ground and sky behind him, casting up dust and lifting the fallen purple and white flower petals as he flew past. With barely any time to react, Rei raised her arm as the knight raised his sword. As it came rushing down from overhead, her blue AT field flickered into existence before her. With a metallic and energetic screech, the AT field began pulsing and screaming as the stone sword tried to cut into it.
"Ah! An Absolute Terror Field! Alas… it will not save you," the knight said, obviously smirking behind his heavenly helm.
He dug his heels into the ground and tightened his grip on his sword. Then, the edges of the blade began to glow a dull yellow and the knight began pressing it into the AT field.
Rei was already gritting her teeth with strain. Upon seeing her AT field begin to crack, she tried to focus more, but was rapidly loosing her concentration. In another moment, her AT field shattered and she barely managed to sidestep the cleave of the sword whooshing past her face and crashing into the ground less than an inch from her feet.
She then darted away before facing the angel again.
"I see you are not wont to waste your movements," the angel said as he dislodged the sword from the ground, "and yet, you are hesitant. And I cannot help but wonder why. Could it be are simply not up to par without your mortal contrivances and the gifts of the gods. Or are you afraid? But of what? Not death, at least not your own. That much is certain."
Rei only glared in response.
"Heheh," the angel chuckled again, "No words to mark our conflict? ...So be it. I call out to the skies and tremble as the brilliance of a thousand bolts blinds mine enemies and tears their flesh asunder!"
Golden lightning suddenly shot down from the sky and connected with the knight's sword. Where the blade before had simply glowed, it now burned. Pale golden fire wreathed the stone and halos of light traveled up and down the length of the blade.
"We would be on equal footing… had you only mastered your abilities..."
Rei still said nothing.
"I speak of the absolute terror field of course," the thunderous voice chided, "Is it that the absolute terror field simply safeguards a soul, or is it it rather that your absolute terror field is the will of your soul given purpose and means? Granted, these implications are of no moment to a people only trying to scrape by after a catastrophe and prevent a recurrence of the same."
Again, Rei chose to say nothing as she watch the knight raise is sword over his head, gold lightning occasionally striking it.
"They who dwell aloft have spoken. Let their words echo in your empty soul! The dreams of men are fleeting, yet they must be embraced if they are to flourish! Have you the faith to do as much, servant of the Lilin!?"
Rei closed her eyes for a moment. In that moment, she saw the people she knew; the people she had to return to. Gendo, Kensuke, Toji, Misato, Asuka, Shinji.
She felt something warm and wet dripping down her face.
'Blood?'
She opened her eyes, hold her hands beneath her face and catching the liquid as it fell from her cheeks. But, what she saw was not a staining red ink, but rather pure and delicate crystals.
'No, tears? Are these… my tears? Crying? Why am I crying?'
"My soul… is not empty," Rei whispered as she shuddered.
As she looked down, she saw her usual ensemble of schoolgirl attire beginning to dissolve into a thick, heavy, black mist that slowly seeped down her body before dispersing as it blew around to and fro at her feet, leaving her completely nude before the angel.
The angelic knight saw the girl's clothes turn to dark mist and slowly but confidently began striding toward her.
"I am not… empty," Rei whispered to herself again as she collapsed on the ground.
Tabris finally stood in front of the girl, towering over her petite and delicate frame, the last of the black mist scattering to the four winds as he set his foot down before her and raised his sword over his head, lightning striking it once more.
"Three shadows cast, three fates foretold. Yet at the end of the broken path lies death, and death alone!"
The knight then turned the point of his sword toward the ground, toward Rei, and thrust downward with the intent to run the girl through.
But, Rei's blue AT field surged into existence, screaming as it shielded her from the massive, flaming, stone sword. The flames of the sword grew angrier as the sword was pressed harder into the AT field, causing the field to shriek even louder.
"I am not empty!" Rei growled as she looked up at the angel with tears still falling out of her eyes.
Tabris loosened his grip on his sword for a moment in his surprised, almost allowing the blade to be flung away by Rei's violently pulsating AT field before he reaffirmed his grasp on the hilt. Her words were not what surprised the angel though. No, what surprised him was that the girl's eyes were glowing a hot blood orange color and that her pupils had become elliptical.
The rest of her body too began changing. Despite her extremely lean but non-mucular figure, her muscles rippled under her skin like warping iron as she tensed and spasmed. Her teeth grew long and sharp as she scowled at the angel. Her small breasts too moderately grew in size, becoming rounder and fuller as her nipples became erect. Her enlarging breasts tightened the skin around her chest and the outline of her ribs was now easily visible beneath her skin, making her look slightly skeletal. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end as both hot and cold seemed to flow into her body, almost overwhelming her senses.
The girl opened her mouth, almost as if she were to roar. But all that followed was ringing silence and raging calm. Tabris's sword was finally forced from his hand as it shot away from Rei's exploding AT field. A vicious aura of blue light surged out from the girl, easily blowing Tabris back as his ears were still ringing from the expulse the girl had generated.
For a time, there was nothing but white. Eventually, though, the light receded some, revealing Rei sitting hunched over and alone upon the faded white bricks, breathing deeply and with haste, like an animal that had been chasing it's prey for too long. Her ribs and breasts heaved as she tried to supply her blood with more oxygen. Her legs shook from either exhaustion or from the sudden and alarmingly massive influx of energy her tiny body was currently enjoying.
Rei then heard Tabris's voice again.
"Ah, making progress it would seem. It's still unrefined and primal. But, surely, you can feel why they call it the terror field now?"
Above her, she saw holy golden light silhouetting an angelic figure and a massive sword floating up into the hands it had been knocked out of a few seconds before.
Tabris slowly floated downward, staring at the girl, her previously red eyes still glowing a wild orange.
Rei finally stood up, though her shoulders were still hunched forward and the rest of her nude body posed animalisticly in opposition to Tabris's civilized and angelic stance.
The angel hovered a second above the ground before planting his feet on the worn heavenly bricks of the courtyard.
"Ah, and even now, you're still changing it would seem," the angel pointed out as he observed the girl's waist constrict and shrink while her nails grew long and more claw-like.
Blue energy swirled around Rei as she growled at the angel, forming fiery, blue, skeletal wings of light on her back along with a matching skeletal tail.
"Yes! Yes! This is the beast I have longed to face! But even as you sharpen your claws, you still must find newfound strength! This is not enough, not nearly enough!
Rei growled again before suddenly lunging at the angel. Faster than the eye could see, she tore past Tabris and through his AT field. There was the sound of screeching steel and then silence.
The girl moved so fast, she could hardly stop herself. And when she had, she was almost ten feet behind Tabris with her bare exposed back to him.
Tabris calmly pulled his helm off and examined it. Across the visor, there were three deep claw marks that had torn completely through the metal and a fourth that had grazed across the surface.
"Very good, first child. But this is merely the awakening, not mastery. You've tapped into the power but you can hardly command it," Tabris said before dropping his helmet onto the ground.
Rei spun around, baring her teeth and once more growling at the angel.
Tabris too turned around to face Rei, revealing a young boy with black hair and glowing golden eyes.
"See, look! I bet you can barely speak. The power you play with is dangerous. The AT field can do many things. But just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be."
"Is… Is this... real!?" Rei growled, mentally struggling to get the words out.
Tabris suddenly disappeared before appearing again right in front of Rei.
"Anything can be real. You just have to wish it to be. But, if you mean to ask if I'm really here in front of you, then no. I am not. In fact, I'm not even consciously having this conversation with you right now. As of this moment, I am far far away in an ocean of white dust and starlight not even thinking about you. But that needn't matter in a world like this. I can do anything in this time; this place. For example-"
Tabris's face suddenly changed. His eyes became red and his hair blue. And even his very face took on a different shape.
"Of course, I will not reveal what I truly look like to you, but you will find me in time. Or I will find you," the boy said as his visage became that of Rei herself.
The girl's hair bristled and she once again growled before swiping at Tabris's face.
There was a metallic pinging sound and Rei's claws came into contact with Tabris's golden AT field.
"Touched a nerve, did I? I apologize," Tabris said as his face reverted back into what it had previously been.
Rei's other palm smashed forwards, trying her damnedest to break the AT Field. She dug her claws into the plane of light and leaned her body into the wall, flattening her enlarged breasts between the AT field and her ribs as she vigorously tried to tear though.
Suddenly a surge of golden light pushed the little girl away a few feet. After regaining her footing, the girl then lunged forward, moving so quickly that she practically disappeared, and smashed into the AT field again, almost like a bug hitting the windshield of a car.
Again, Tabris forced the girl away with a flash of golden light.
Rei snarled in response. Her body once again began changing. Her heels became longer and slenderer. Her fingers and tongue elongated. Her hips became wider and more defined. Her thighs and calves became taut and toned, the muscles in her legs looking as though they could tear out of her tightening skin at any moment.
With astounding force, she launched herself forward yet again slamming into Tabris's AT field. She could almost swear she heard her bones starting to fracture as her hands plunged into the wall of light, furiously trying to tear it down.
'I need more… more power. I swore I would… protect Shinji. I must… kill… destroy… annihilate,' Rei thought as she hopelessly tried to tear at the light.
"You are loosing control with every passing moment, first child. But you will need more control if you wish to survive the days to come."
"I… will kill… you! All of you! Destroy all of you. Annihilate all of you! So that… he never… has to hurt again!" Rei shouted over the pinging golden field.
"I have no doubt you'll try."
Tabris once again effortlessly blasted the girl away as she failed to penetrate his AT field, though this time, he was more forceful and sent her flying into one of the marble walls of the ruins with enough momentum to topple the already dilapidated structure.
"Come! T'would be in poor sport to sheathe my sword now!" the boy said as the dust around Rei cleared with a surge of blue light.
The girl screamed as she launched herself forward at blistering speeds, rocketing towards the angel. Only to be met with his golden wall of light once more. She could feel the bones in her right arm crumple and break as she made contact with the field. She screamed again, though this time, in pain instead of rage.
Falling to the ground, she cradled her broken arm as her bare knees scrapped across the rough sandpapery lichen covering the bricks.
Tabris was soon standing over her and he struck her across the face with the flat side of his blade, knocking her even further to the ground. He then held the sword over her, the tip pointed at her abdomen as Rei's chest heaved up and down, uncontrollably panting for breath.
"Like a tired animal that has given up its fight and accepted death as its just reward for surrender," Tabris mumbled as the girl still furiously panted, her nude body glistening with sweat as her hot skin let the cold of the ground seep into her.
He once more thrust the sword down, making contact with her AT field. The blue wall of light quickly begining to crack and fizzle.
"To the current of life we succumb, its judgment swift and final! Its bite as cold as steel!"
Rei watched the flaming sword slowly break though her AT field. She finally saw her field shatter and give out and she closed her eyes, breathing in deeply.
'I… am not empty. I am not a doll. I will protect him. I… promised.'
The next moment,, when her eyes opened, blue light surged out of Rei anew, halting Tabris's sword, causing the boy to smile. Rei lifted her hand and gestured at Tabris before he was suddenly flung away.
Rei could feel her body suddenly floating as she rotated midair and was returned to her feet. Where before she felt toned and tense, like a rubber band waiting to snap, she now felt like a fire; giving off energy rather than constraining it inside her. As well as that, she could feel her broken arm rapidly mending itself.
Tabris watch as her claws receded and her once elliptical pupils returned to their correct shape as well as the other animalistic parts of her body, though her eyes still glowed orange and the rest of her more humanly body features remained mostly unchanged.
The girl's feet and legs then lit on fire. And when the flames had died down, searing white armored greaves had covered her previously exposed legs. Soon, the girls arms, chest, and hips all lit on fire as well, granting her matching armor pieces of the purest white to accompany that which she already had.
Finally, a flame extended outwards from her hand, revealing a broadsword of her very own, made out of some kind of strange blue metal that seemed like it could have been harder than diamonds.
"You do not disappoint, first child. You show great promise, but will it be enough?"
Rei said nothing as she brandished her sword. The energy from the fiery blue wings and tail she'd previously had burned out. But, soon, she found her sword set ablaze with glittering blue flames of its own. And before she knew it, white feathered wings burst forth from her heavenly decorated armor in contrast to the skeletal ones she'd adorned not long ago.
"If only your friends knew what you truly were. Would they still stand with you?"
"The answer to that question is of no consequence here!" Rei said stoically.
"Come, then! Now is not the time to stay our blades!"
Rei and Tabris both took to the air, rushing each other as their swords clashed, sending up blue and golden sparks among the purple and white petals that fell around them.
Knocking each other back, Tabris floated back to the ground calmly and bided his time. Rei on the other hand, immediately charged forward upon returning to the ground. Her sword came into contact with Tabris's gold AT field, and the screeching grated her ears.
However, she had no time to focus on such annoyances, as Tabris dropped his AT field, caused Rei to stumble forward while Tabris danced around the girl's lunging blade. Allowing him an opening to slice at her side.
At the last moment however, Rei brought her own AT field up, causing the white stone sword to ricochet away. Rei spun around, trying her best to reach the angel with the end of her blade. But, as she brought her sword around, Tabris caused an explosion of light, knocking the girl's sword out of her hand.
Rei watched her sword rapidly spin through the air and land almost fifty feet away as she barely managed to prevent herself from loosing her footing.
Upon regaining her balance, she frowned at the angel who now stood before her with his own sword still in hand.
"You grow quickly, first child. But you will need to be better if you are to live."
Rei slowly began circling around the angel. And, Tabris kept his attention focused solely on her as he rotated to meet her gaze.
"What will you do now, Servant of the Lilin?"
Rei said nothing, but curled her fingers into a fist as sparks started jumping over her fingers. Her hand miraculously was set ablaze with deep blue flames and she charged toward the angel, her fist raised.
"An exercise in futility," Tabris mumbled as he raised his AT field to stop the blow. But, as the ringing sound of the AT field sounded out, Tabris felt something impale itself into him from behind.
His AT field dropped as he looked down only to see Rei's sword piercing through his gut.
"Ah… I see… You remembered I was able to retrieve my sword using the AT field after you disarmed me. Well fought..." The boy said before slouching to the ground in cold blood.
"Don't think this means you will succeed though," another voice said from behind her, this one much less foreboding and more airy than the voice of the angel knight she'd just bested.
Still, the voice put her on guard.
"Oh, don't be afraid. It's just me, Tabris. Like I said, don't think you've triumphed. That was merely the beginning, first child. Merely the beginning. But, this is no place for a final contest. So, I will grant you your victory."
The boy then disappeared in a flash of golden light and Rei was finally alone as her armor turned into black mist, leaving her exposed once more. The blue aura surrounding her faded, returning her body to the way it once was, the way it was always meant to be. No glowing eyes nor fangs nor claws.
And now she would wait. She would wait for this dream or nightmare or vision to end.

-All The Fallen-
/
"Die with me, Asuka."
Asuka's eyes fluttered open. Her vision was blurry at first but she soon came to realize that she didn't immediately recognize where she was.
"Hmm? What is this place?"
She rubbed her eyes and once again looked around. In front of her was a television and to her right was a fireplace with a pile of wood that seemed to have just been lit on fire. Beneath her was a soft brown couch. And the fabric seemed eerily familiar to her.
"Wait a minute. This is mom's couch. I always used to sleep here… Then that means..."
Asuka looked around saw that this was indeed her mother's house back in Germany. It appeared to be night time outside, and she could see lighting flashing in the window, though the storm still appeared to be a ways off.
"But... I thought I burned this place down after mutti died. I remember! I got a log from the fireplace and..."
Asuka looked at the fireplace. The freshly lit fire was slowly growing and it smelled of pine wood.
"Vater… Daniffen wasn't very happy about that… but who cares about that cheating sack of shit, … other than that whore of a stepmother I have now! Fucking bitching Karla! I don't think even she cares about him! She just wanted to make money off me..."
Asuka no longer felt comfortable on the couch, and decided to get up pace about her rather spacious and luxurious kitchen.
"Hmph! Even if she was insane, why the hell would he cheat on her like that? What a garbage human. Knowing he'd hurt her like that! Knowing it would only make her worse! And… well, maybe he didn't know she would take it out on me. But, that doesn't excuse anything he did or the suffering he caused."
Asuka could hear rain starting to fall outside now as she crossed her arms over her chest and continued to to pace.
"And that fucking, abusive, homewrecking, cheating nurse, Karla. I can't believe he married her. Why would he do something like that? He may not have known mom would hurt me, but he… he certainly knew that vile witch from the insanity ward wouldn't be any better."
Asuka suddenly stopped pacing and instead sat on the floor of the kitchen, hugging her legs to her chest.
"And still, he kissed her and fucked her and married her after mom died, even when he knew how often she hit me and beat me and spat in my hair or face and made me feel worthless or annoying!"
Asuka was now trembling as tears spilled out of her eyes.
"And he saw her do it all to! She did it right in front of him! Spat on me! Kicked me hard enough to lift me off the ground! Pulled my hair! Slapped me! Burned me! Always telling me I'd never live up to anything even when she knew I was going to be the second child! She did all of that in front of him and he didn't do anything to stop it.
Asuka whimpered and cried into her thighs as her voice became raspy and her nose started to run.
"I'm so… so happy I burned this place down! Neither of them deserved it! Daniffen, the cheater and Karla, the witch! I don't know why I still bother even talking to them! Why? Why do I do it!? I hate pretending they're my family. No one is my family!"
Asuka sniffled and lifted her head out of the cradle she'd made out of her arms and legs.
"No. That's not true. Shinji is my family. He said so. We're family now," Asuka said while she wiped her tears away with a sad smile.
However, she quickly found herself wailing again as tear flooded out of her eyes once more.
"I was so happy when Misato took me in. Even if I never connected with her too much. And then she moved away to Japan and Kaji adopted me instead. It was like a whole new world. Life felt so worth living; so full of hope. He was the father I deserved. Or, maybe I didn't deserve him. I don't think I really deserve anything anymore. But, he was the dad I wanted. He cared. He worried about me. He made me food when I was tired. He took me places when I was bored. He gave me medicine when I felt bad. He put me to bed at night. And even when I got in trouble, he never hit me. He never hurt me ever. He was so sweet. And responsible too. I know… I know I shouldn't have tried to hit on him with our age differences. And, I'm angry he didn't reciprocate my advances. But... it only made me love him more!" Asuka cried hysterically.
"And even if he didn't love me that way, I always came first… Most of the time at least. He might have worked long hours too often, so maybe he didn't always get to spend that much time with me. But, when he did, it seemed like I was the only thing on his mind."
Asuka had found that her sniffling and crying had died down a bit and she almost had a smile on her face though her frown had already begun to return.
"It doesn't feel like that anymore though. Now it feels like Shinji is trying to take Kaji's place. I mean, I guess Shinji isn't that bad. He cooks for me… he takes care of me… I guess he's responsible for his age. And, I know sometimes I used to sorta accuse him of sexually assaulting me but… I know he wouldn't actually take advantage of me. And I guess he has saved my life a few times."
The redhead smiled a tiny bit, though she didn't entirely feel better.
"So stupid. I swore I wouldn't cry anymore. But… I already broke that promise. Oh, Shinji!"
Asuka sat in silence, mulling over her words while trying not to cry anymore.
The wind from the storm was now starting to pick up and blow furiously past the walls of the house. Whistling and whipping as it blew past. But, among the whooshing, Asuka could swear she heard something else.
"… ..th .., .suka."
"Hmm?"
Asuka sniffled and wiped her eyes. The trees outside the house caught in the wind and blew back and forth, almost like they were dancing some eerie waltz.
Again, Asuka heard the wind blow past.
"… ..th me, Asuka."
Asuka shivered and her hair stood on end. She slowly walked over to one of the windows and peered outside. She couldn't see much with how dark it was. But, she could see the trees shuddering when the lightning flashed.
"Die with me, Asuka."
The girl's eyes widened and she backed away from the window.
"Die with me, Asuka. Die with me! Why won't you die with me, Asuka?"
All Asuka could hear now was her mother's words. Every sound became her mother whispering for her to die, coaxing her to kill herself.
"No! Stop it! Shut the hell up!" Asuka shouted as she put her hands over her ears, trying to block out the noise.
But, even that wouldn't stop it.
Asuka felt a sharp pain in her head and for a second, she could hear an ominous howling sound, almost like an owl hooting, from inside her head before her vision became purple and distorted.
"Why won't you die, Asuka? Die with me!"
Her mothers voice came from inside her now. There was no escaping it.
"No! Stop it! Not like- Not like this!"
"Three shadows cast, three fates foretold! Yet at the end of the broken path lies death, and death alone! Come! Join me, Asuka! Kill yourself!"
"GAAAAH! FUCK! FUCK! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE, PLEASE!" Asuka pleaded with a shrill scream.
The girl collapsed on the floor and cradled her head harder as she began to spasm involuntarily. She could feel her sanity slowly leaving her as she looked through her purple tinted sight. The violet hue infiltrated everything. Even when she closed her eyes, she could see her mother hanging through her amaranth visions.
"Die with me, Asuka," the hanging corpse said, forcing Asuka to open her eyes again.
"Escape is not so easily granted! You can't run from this, Asuka."
And then the purple faded, giving way to the calming browns and whites of the walls and floor of the house.
"Is… it over?" Asuka panted as she weakly crawled to her feet.
"Come die with me, Asuka!"
"No! Please! I don't want to die! I don't want to!"
"Whatever are you talking about, sweetheart? I said dine!" A sweet lively voice said from behind her.
Asuka spun around and saw her mother, Kyoko, standing in the kitchen with a confused look on her face, her bright red hair hanging in front of her eyes as she tried to puff it out of her face with a quick and directed blow from her lips.
The woman wore an apron, and in her hands was a whisk and a bowl. The smell of maple syrup quickly filled the room.
"What!? I don't..."
"Dine, Asuka! Would you like to dine with me? What's gotten into you? Aren't you hungry? I'm making your favorite cupcakes and I have a ham in the oven. So, why won't you come die with me?"
Kyoko's hair suddenly turned from it's bright red to something much more dull, and what previously seemed to be kept light and soft with shampoo was now matted and stringy. Her metallic orange nail polish flaked off revealing overgrown, black, chipped nails. The woman's skin changed from it's soft tan to a dead gray color and her breasts shrunk and became dilapidated. The smell of maple was rudely replaced with that of decay and rot.
Asuka gagged at the offensive odor.
Her mother dropped the bowl she was holding on the floor and instead of a whisk, she was holding a knife.
"Why won't you die with me, Asuka?"
"PLEASE, JUST GO AWAY!"
"Die with me, Asuka. Get a knife from our kitchen, Asuka. Why would he do that to me, Asuka? Why would he leave me for her? Why won't you come with me, Asuka? I'm going to kill him, Asuka. Get the knife, Asuka. Bring it to me. I'm going to kill him. Then I'll kill you. We'll all be together. She won't be there. But you will be there. We'll be happy, Asuka. We'll be happy."
Kyoko gradually approached Asuka. It seemed like it took an eternity as she swayed back and forth, as though she weren't in full control of her faculties, like she were drunk, her knife swinging precariously in her hands. Asuka wished the woman would just trip and stab herself. But she didn't. And she finally reached Asuka, caressing the girl's face with her black nails.
"No! NO! Please, just stop. Please, I can't do it anymore."
Kyoko put her fingers on Asuka's lips to silence her. And she then quickly slipped her fingers inside Asuka's mouth. Her mothers nails raking across her tongue and the back of her throat along with the taste of her rotting flesh made Asuka eyes water as she gagged even harder.
"Don't spit now, darling. Mommy wants to be inside you forever."
Kyoko finally yanked her skeletal fingers out of Asuka's mouth. The girl made a sound like that that of a choking animal desperately trying to dislodge a piece of food from its throat.
"Good girl, my little Asuka. Now, where else shall I put these hands of mine?" Kyoko said as she put her free hand around Asuka's throat while sliding her knife into the waistband of Asuka's skirt.
"Please, don't! Please, I can't take it. I don't want to do this."
Asuka could feel her mother's hand tighten around her throat.
"I'm going to kill you Asuka. But I want you to suffer first. You let it happen. You let him cheat on me. You were the only one who could have stopped it. I LOVED YOU! I TRUSTED YOU! AND YOU LET IT HAPPEN!"
"I TRIED TO, DAMN IT! I TOLD HIM I THOUGH IT WAS WRONG! I ALWAYS ASKED HIM WHY HE'D KISS HER WHEN YOU WERE STILL RIGHT THERE IN THAT FUCKING WHITE ROOM! BUT, I WAS A LITTLE GIRL! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU WANT ME TO DO!?
"I WANTED YOU TO KILL HIM!"
"THAT'S NOT FAIR TO ME! THAT'S NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY!"
Kyoko pulled the knife through the waistband of Asuka's skirt, causing it to fall to the ground. She then released Asuka's throat from her grasp, only to conjure a dark pink AT field in front of her that then exploded, knocking Asuka out the window behind her and into the muddy front lawn.
Asuka still disoriented, could barely see anything in the darkness. But she could hear her mother scream.
"YOU SHALL RUE THE DAY YOU RAISED YOUR EYES TO THE HEAVENS! MISFORTUNE HANGS HEAVY ON A HEAD ONCE HELD HIGH! SUCH IS POOR COVER FOR WHEN THE HEAVENS FALL!"
Asuka felt a heel stamp into her stomach, knocking the breath out of Asuka. And, once the foot had been lifted from her, she then felt her mother's hand wrap around her throat once more.
For a corpse who seemed to have the muscle mass of an anorexic person, her mother's strength was that of adamantite; absolute and unyielding as she dragged her daughter through the mud before lifting her up and slamming her against the stone walls of her house.
"I will make you suffer, daughter dearest."
Kyoko lifted the girl up even higher and then ran her long chipped nails across the lining of Asuka's panties.
This immediately reminded her of of her encounter at the convenience store when she'd tried to steal food from it and almost payed for it with her virginity.
'Why is there… so much violence in the world? Everything is fighting. All the time. Fighting for power. Fighting to live. Fighting to make things right. Fighting over nothing. Fighting over things that shouldn't be fought over. I guess… that's why I was always fighting. Starting fights. Ending fights. It didn't matter.'
"Mutti, please… stop," Asuka choked out, "I don't want to fight over this. Please, don't touch me. Just let me go."
"You should have listened to your mother."
"I did! I brought you the knife. I snuck it into your room, just like you asked!"
Kyoko removed her hands from Asuka's panties and looked at her with caustic hatred.
"You didn't do enough!"
Kyoko then plunged her kitchen knife into Asuka's stomach and released her grip on her throat, letting her drop to the ground as her legs crumpled beneath her.
"Guh!" Asuka exhaled as she felt the knife cut into her.
"Now, you will come die with me, Asuka."
"Stop..."
Kyoko's ear perked up and she smirked at Asuka.
"What was that, my baby Asuka?" the woman asked as she teasingly leaned over the girl, pretending to try to hear her better.
"Stop… TAKING YOUR PAIN OUT ON ME!" Asuka growled as she looked up at her mother, her eyes glowing a vile yellow as her pupils became elliptical.
Kyoko grimaced as she looked down at her daughter.
A seething bright red aura began to swirl about Asuka and the knife in her stomach extricated itself as the wound it had created rapidly sealed shut.
"Just because you had a bad life doesn't mean you can just go and drag everyone else down with you! Your pain isn't an excuse to make everyone else suffer too!" Asuka spat as her teeth grew long and sharp.
Asuka closed her eyes and immediately thought back to when she told Shinji she'd try to stop being so hurtful to him. She felt like a hypocrite. But, she also knew that she was at least trying to change.
Upon opening her eyes, she saw her clothing beginning to dissolve into black mist. Though, she found she didn't care. Her mind was turning into an amalgamation of conflicted thoughts and emotions and she could feel energy surging through her.
Her eyes became blood shot and her nails turned into claws.
Kyoko looked in shock as she watched her daughter's naked body spasm and cringe as it transformed, her waist becoming thinner and more streamlined, like a starving animal. Her tiny perky breasts becoming larger as the skin around her chest constricted around her ribs. Her legs becoming tense with energy and hard like steel as she bent over and stood on both her arms and her legs. Finally, a flaming tail made of pure energy, as red and hot as molten metal, formed at the base of her spine as a pair of wings sprouted from her shoulders, seemingly made out of fire.
"I'll… kill you! I'm gonna… fucking kill you!" Asuka growled as her legs shuddered and tensed up before she launched herself at her mother at blinding speeds.
Her mother raised her dark pink AT field just barely fast enough to stop the girls attack.
"How dare you! I am your mother!" Kyoko said with a hint of disgust.
"YOU TRIED TO KILL ME! I HATE YOU!" Asuka growled and shrieked at the same time over the pinging AT field.
Asuka dug her claws into the pink light before reeling her head back, opening her mouth, and then bringing her gaping jaws down upon the AT field and tearing a hole in it.
Kyoko looked though the hole in horror, seeing the part of her field Asuka that had torn away disintegrating in the girl's savagely large teeth.
Kyoko tried to close the gap in the wall, but Asuka had already stuck her fingers through, trying to rip in it half. Now Asuka's own bright red AT field began clashing with her mother's pink one as Asuka's slowly overcame and neutralized it.
Kyoko saw her daughter's grimace slowly turn into a sick smile as her pink AT field abruptly flickered out, allowing Asuka to attack.
The feral girl wasted no time and hooked her mothers shirt with her claws before dragging her into the ground.
"What are you doing, Asuka?"
Asuka looked down at the woman and she had changed back to her mother. Her real mother, before she had gone insane.
"I… am… going to KILL YOU!"
"Why, Asuka!? Why!? I love you!? Why would you do this? Please, Asuka, I don't want to die. Come live with me, Asuka. Live!"
"You… aren't her!"
"Aren't who, Asuka? It's me! Your mother, Asuka!" the woman said with mud splattered across her face and in her hair.
"No… NO! I don't have… a mother!"
"You're right. You don't. Then, maybe, you're looking for me."
Kyoko's face suddenly morphed into that face of Karla Vela, Asuka's abusive stepmother.
"YOU! I will kill you!" Asuka hissed through her bared teeth.
Asuka raised her clawed hand into the air before bringing it down and stabbing her fingers into the woman's stomach.
Karla screamed before her face reverted back to that of Kyoko.
"Asuka, please! Don't!"
Asuka could feel the woman's organs writhing inside of her as they brushed and ran along her fingers.
"You… aren't… my mother! She's… dead! SHE'S DEAD!"
Asuka then rip her finger out of the woman's stomach, tearing out all kinds of organs as she pulled her hand free.
Kyoko screamed and took on her more ragged and corpse-like look again.
Asuka roared furiously before biting down on the flesh surrounding the wound she'd just inflicted on her mother. She then reared her head back, tearing even more flesh and organs from the woman before letting the meat fall out of her mouth next to her mother.
"Stop it, Asuka! Please! Stop!" the woman cried in a raspy voice fit for a corpse.
"No! I hate you! You tried to kill me! You ruined my life! You hurt me and made me hurt everyone around me!" Asuka shrieked furiously as her mother's blood dribbled out of her fanged mouth and trickled down her neck and breasts.
"You did that yourself!"
"And now I'm fixing it! My bloodied hands have much left to accomplish!"
"Asuka, please don't do this! Please! I can help you!"
"JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!"
Asuka opened her mouth again and this time bit down on her mother's throat, crushing it and tearing it out as her AT field pinged and flickered against the last of Kyoko's strength.
"GRAAAAAAHHH!" Asuka bellowed as more of her mother's flesh fell out of her mouth.
The girl stood up and scowled at her mother's motionless corpse. Despite her victory, she only grimaced at the sight.
Asuka then looked up at the door to the house, her glowing yellow eyes finally returning to their proper calm blue color and her red aura, wings, and tail fading away.
She felt a wave of exhaustion come over her as she made her way back inside the house. As she walked to the fireplace, she could hear the rainwater and her mother's blood dripping off of her and pattering on the wooden floor.
Upon returning to the living room, she held her blood stained fingers over the fire, trying to warm them up. Though, other thoughts were becoming more prevalent.
The girl sighed and pulled her hands away from the fire and instead reached for the pair of fire-pit tongs that sat on the fireplace's mantle. She then used them to pull one of the burning logs out of the fireplace and it tumbled out onto the floor.
'I burned this place down once… I'll do it again… for old times sake.'

-All The Hidden-
/
"Pilot the eva, Shinji."
Shinji groaned as he open his eyes slowly, trying to keep the harsh light from blinding him.
He rested on something cold and metallic. He could a feel the heads of a few screws pressing on his cheek bone, finally prompting him to raise his head to stop the ache.
"Where… where am I?" He grumbled before yawning.
"You are at NERV. The place you chose to be," a gruff voice said, seemingly from nowhere.
Shinji finally gathered his senses and pieced together where he was.
"The… Eva hangars? But.. where's Unit-00 and Unit-02? Unit-01 is the only one here."
"They are currently sortied and fighting an angel. They are on the back foot however," a static riddled voice echoed through the hangar.
"Father? Is that you?"
"Correct."
Shinji glanced around, not seeing anyone at first until he looked up at the observation deck and saw Gendo Ikari watching him from above.
"Where are they!? Where's Rei and Asuka!?"
"Pilot Sohryu is currently bleeding out in her entry plug due to structural damage incurred by the angel. And Rei is struggling to attempt to neutralize the Angel's AT field on her own, though she too is in die condition."
"What!? How! But, I don't understand! What's happening, father!?"
"You didn't pilot the Eva, Shinji! This is what happened!"
"I didn't what? ...But… I thought I said I would. I did, didn't I?"
"You did say you would pilot it. And you refused to when called upon. ...where is your conviction?!"
"No… but… That's not right! I said I would..."
"And yet you still let your fear drive you! Even now, you are unsure of yourself. Of what your responsibilities are! Of what's right in front of you! You'll happily mouth the words, but you won't spill the blood! Even the strongest of shields cannot defend the weakest of wills! A moment's hesitation beckons a lifetime of pain! For you, and those around you!"
"No… I don't! THAT'S NOT TRUE! FATHER! WHERE IS REI!? WHERE'S ASUKA?"
Gendo starred down at the boy coldly, not saying anything.
"WHERE ARE THEY!?" Shinji frantically asked again.
"Likely dead by now."
"That's can't be right… That's not possible!" Shinji whispered to himself as he slumped against the floor of the boarding platform.
Gendo straightened his glasses.
"So, even when all is lost, you still don't have the willpower to crave revenge. You don't even have the strength to satisfy your own desires, even when there's nothing left to loose!"
"There's nothing left to gain either," Shinji choked out as he lay limply on the metal floor.
"There is always something to gain, even if is it meaningless or ephemeral. It can bring joy. But I should expect no less speaking with you. You have no motivation to make yourself happy. This is not the son I raised."
"YOU DIDN'T RAISE ME AT ALL!" Shinji wailed, "You abandoned me!"
"And I would have abandoned you sooner had I known you would grow into a man like this!"
Shinji slowly raised himself up from and propped himself up on the palms of his hands, his eyes still cast downwards.
"You..." Shinji mumbled.
A purple aura slowly began burning to life around the boy. Though Gendo was intrigued, judging by his expression, he wasn't surprised.
"YOU DIE!" Shinji bellowed as he looked up at Gendo with dark, red, glowing, elliptical eyes.
Shinji's teeth grew into fangs as he groaned painfully. Looking down at his hands, he could see his nails transforming into claws, scrapping harshly as they ran across the metal floor. The boy's clothing began to disintegrate into shadowed mist and his muscles began to bulk up slightly.
Gendo smirked as he watched the boy's body shiver and strain under the power that was welling up inside and around him.
Shinji could hear his bones snapping shifting, and reshaping inside of him. The sounds ordinarily would have made him sick, but his mind was in a fog of rage.
His pectoral muscles shivered and flexed unnaturally. Pulsating blood vessels showed beneath his tightening skin. His waist constricted and his penis became lengthier and thicker than normal as it filled with blood.
"I don't care… if you abandoned me. But, now, you're trying to hurt my friends!" the boy said as a flaming purple tail and wings emerged from him, "I have… to stand up for them. I won't let you do this! I mustn't… run… away!"
The boy suddenly launched himself through the hair, blurring past Unit-01 as he ascended into the observation deck above, shattering the glass as he shot through the window.
Gendo seemed entirely unfazed as the demonic boy landed on the floor of the observation room and glared at him.
"Why!? Why did you send them out there without me?! WHY DID YOU SEND THEM OUT THERE TO DIE!?
"Because I had to. There was no other choice."
"They were my friends! MY ONLY FRIENDS!"
"Selfish! There's more at stake here than you own personal relationships! The fate of the world is more important than the fate of three children!"
"SHUT UP!" Shinji screamed before charging Gendo, only to come in contact with his AT field.
The vivid flashes of Shinji's purple AT field struggled against the brilliant yellow of Gendo's. Shinji growled and clawed at the shield but it wouldn't falter.
"Three shadows cast, three fates foretold! Yet, at the end of the broken path lies death, and death alone!" Gendo shouted before a surge of yellow light pushed Shinji back like a tidal wave or a train had just crash into him.
The boy slammed into the dark metal wall of the observation deck, his head ringing as he tried to focus on Gendo.
"I have been called the King of the Lilin," Gendo said as he pulled one of his white gloves from his right and stuffed it into his pocket, "You will now know why! UPON MY HOLY BLADE, THE VERY WORLD LIES IN BALANCE!"
Gendo raised his hand over his head. Shimmering in the air, a Katana made of blinding yellow light, materialized in the man's hand.
"AND NOW THE SCALES WILL TIP!"
Gendo brought the sword down upon Shinji's purple AT field. It blocked it with a screeching ping, but the force was still enough to blow out the floor beneath the boy as he fell into the pool of LCL in the Eva Hangar below.
He could feel air bubbles tickling his cheeks and nose as he plunged into the orange liquid. As quickly as he could muster he swam out of the LCL and climbed onto the boarding platform in front of Unit-01.
As he looked up through his LCL drenched hair, he saw Gendo slowly descending from the smoke of the blown out observation deck.
"To live by the sword is to die by the sword! There is time enough for regret in the flames of hell," Gendo said as he finally lowered himself enough to where he was practically walking on the lake of LCL.
"YOU KILLED THEM!" Shinji roared.
"They chose their path, as did you, Shinji! Instead of fighting with me, you could have helped them."
Shinji paused, his AT field flickering wildly before abruptly fizzling out, causing his eyes and teeth to revert to normal.
"Get in the Eva, Shinji. Take charge of your responsibilities and rise above your circumstances. If you change your current path, you may yet save them."
"But… you said they're dead," Shinji mumbled, looking down in an attempt to hide his eyes.
"That doesn't have to mean anything."
"I don't understand, father! I don't understand!" the boy yelped, trying not to cry.
"You don't have to! All you need do…. is pilot the Eva. I will handle the rest."
Gendo then vanished, leaving Shinji cold, confused, and nude.
Shinji cast his gaze to Unit-01 before weakly clambering to his feet. He wiped his tears from his face and then proceeded to climb aboard the Eva.

-Three Fates Foretold-
/
Shinji groaned as he woke up. He could feel something soft and warm in his hand.
"Shinji?" a soft angelic voice asked.
"Hmm? Shinji!? Hey!? You're awake!?" a slightly more shrill voice called out happily.
"Yeah, I'm here," he groaned before sitting up in his bed.
Ah he looked around, he saw that he was a bed with clean white covers. The thin sheets smelled of sweet, artificial, cleaning chemicals and to the left of his bed were to other beds, one with slightly messier sheets than the other. Further ast the beds was a window with an overlook of the inside of the Geofront and NERV HQ. It was apparently sunset judging by the orange hues from the inside of the dome.
The boy then looked back down at his left hand, seeing that Rei was holding it, and probably had been since she woke up.
The boy then felt a small soft body crash into him!
"Oh, Shinji! I'm so happy you're awake!" Asuka said as she hugged him.
Shinji was taken aback by the girl's sudden embraced, but it wasn't bad and he didn't cringe away from it like he used to.
"I'm happy you're awake too, Asuka. But… where are we? NERV hospital? Why are we here?"
Asuka pulled out of the embrace and looked at the boy with somber eyes as she sat on the bed next to him.
"It happened again..." she said quietly.
"What… happened again? I… can't remember."
"Our eyes," Rei said quietly and without further explanation.
"And that voice..." Asuka added with a shiver.
Suddenly, Shinji winced as the gritty memories came flooding back. Rei dropping the glass. Asuka crawling across the floor. And, indeed, the voice.
"Oh… I remember now."
"But, hey! We shouldn't worry about that right now!" Asuka said as she looked past Shinjis face and out the window, "It's pretty cool at the Geofront actually shows the light from outside, right? And we must be the luckiest people in the world to have a view hanging from the top. It's kinda pretty, isn't it?"
Rei looked over her shoulder and out the window.
"Yes. It is pleasant," she agreed.
"I guess it is pretty nice. But, its a shame we're only here because of… whatever's wrong," Shinji mumbled.
"Hey, didn't I tell you not to worry about it! Doctor Akagi is on it. She sounded pretty busy. But, Misato's with her and she called me and told us to stay here. She said she'd bring us dinner since Ritsuko was busy with some other stuff. Something about the Evas and their sync limiters. So, I guess we're gonna be here for a few more hours until they get back. So just… don't worry about it, Shinji. I'm sure they'll handle it," Asuka said confidently as she crawled out of Shinji's bed and pulled a swivel chair out from a medical desk in the far corner of the room.
"So," Asuka said with a mischievous smirk, trying as hard as she could to hide her own worries, "Did either of you ever play with swivel chairs when you were younger?"

*Eva credits roll and Fly Me to the Moon plays*
.
"Oooh! I think I know what this weird feral AT stuff is alluding to!"
*Misato quivers in excitement*
*Kaji eyes Misato*
"Misato, don't say anything!"
"Oops! Too late! It's definitely gotta do with the rebuilds of Evangelion, am I right or am I right?"
*Recording room door flies open*
*Fuyutsuki and Gendo glare menacingly though door*
*Section-2 agents appear literally out of nowhere*
*Fuyutsuki gives Misato the Evil eye*
"We don't have a leak in here, do we?!"
*Kaji jumps to Misato's defense*
*Kaji gestures for everyone to calm down*
"What! No! Of course not! Katsuragi was just going over the chapter review! Isn't that right, Colonel!?"
*Misato nods head furiously*
*Fuyutsuki eyes Misato again*
"I've got my eyes on you, Colonel Katsuragi! Whatever happens, don't mention the rebuilds! There's too many... spoilers."
*Fuyutsuki narrows eyes*
*Fuyutsuki sighs*
*Fuyutsuki and Gendo leave recording booth*
*Section-2 agents literally disappear into thin air.*
"Phew!
*Kaji wipes his brow*
And you say that I'm the one going to get someone fired!?"
*Misato huffs*
"Yeeeeeaaaaah, whatever! Lets just get on with the chapter preview before someone hears something they're not supposed to.
So, in the next chapter, Ritsuko presents new revelations to us. Like... that fact her new sync limters didn't work! Oh, that poor workaholic! All that work for nothing! Oh, wait, no! I forgot she handed that off to Maya. But still! So tragic! Someone worked on something but it didn't work for them! Or for the pilots for that matter! Oh, my poor fragile heart! It aches due to their suffering. Okay! Just kidding! But, after Ritsuko brings the bad news and I bring dinner, the kids finally get a chance to sit down and talk about their visions some! At least what they can remember anyways! After all, dream are dreams. And everyone has trouble remembering their dreams now and then. Sometimes I forget mine right as I wake up! It's pretty crazy! I'd know I 'd just had the craziest dream, but for the life of me, I couldn't tell you everything that happened. Anyhow, it'll definitely be in the next chapter of Neon Genesis Evangelion: A Journey of Hate, Power, and Love; Who Reaps The Storm!"
And, you never know! Since they'll be talking about their dreams next chapter, maybe they might mention how they were nude in their dreams too! We'll just have to wait and see how the fanservice is... uh... served to the fans! Yeah!"
.
