Guest - Thanks! And yes, there is room for improvment here.

Guest - Thank you very much!

And here begins new chapter.

Narrator pow:

- "Your infinite self doubt... You're a weakling!... I wish you were better, but I know you'll never be!" - The deep demonic voices said to little girl and surrounded her before a dark shadow with crimson red sword gave a slash towards group of people who were standing far away in front of her, busy denying any association with some very familiar to them person, more precisely: To one who was looking at the scene from the circle.

- Gaaah! - Shouted Blake, waking up from sleep at full moon, sweat covering her entire face and breathing speed reaching dangerous for life values.

- My lady, are you ok? - Asked her Ravenoid from the side, worried abiut sudden outburst of fear.

- Ughhh... Yes... Yes I am... Goodnight! - She answered him before puting her back again on bed and falling asleep.

- "I already know she's not going to cooperate just because I ask her. But surely Maken can help." - Thought to himself Darkus bakugan before doing his version of falling asleep, which was just closing his ball form. - "It just has to be tomorrow..."

(Timeskip, around mid-afternoon Bakugan arena's construction site.)

Maken pow:

- Phew! How did we managed to build four goddamn arenas in one full twenty four hours? We don't even have any errors or mistakes! - I exclaimed to myself in amazement, looking at four domes made of glass, wood, various metal and inconventional electric that make for a first four battleground for brawlers in Menagerie.

- First two were already checked for compability with brawling in real time and guess what. - Said Volt to me, coming from my right alongside Emerald.

- All smooth, safe and ready? - I asked, waiting for the answer.

- Yep, it works. - Said Emerald, taking out a recentagular pile of Lien. - I aslo won a bet against Volt about first try. - She added, snickering a little at which main architect only laughed a bit and turned around.

- Arena three is also ready! - Shouted Sebastian from the other side, coming towards us with Lync. - All thank to these damn workers. - He added, throwing a can of beer to one of workers who happen to pass by.

- Fourth one is also operational at very least. - Cut in Chan Lee, coming from front with careful stride.

- Excellent. In that case the tournament can begin tomorrow, let me just inform him about it. - I said to the group, taking out the scroll and picking up Ghira's number. - All of you, feel free to go. - I quickly added to them.

- Sure./Yeah!/Thank you! - I heard various responses from my team who went in their own directions.

- Hello? - Asked me familiar, strong voice from the scroll.

- Good day to you, Sir Belladonna. - I quickly replied, somehow managing to not talk too fast.

- I need to admit your time perception again. - Greeted me Menagerie's chieftain right at the start. - I was wondering if you could come to me and have a few talks with us. Blake has something to take off her chest again. - He added to me in geniuenly worried voice.

- Of course sir! I'm coming right away. - I replied positively to his words, turning towards Kuo Kuana and walking in said direction.

- Great to hear! We're all waiting! - He added to me before hunging up.

- Buddy, are you sure you want to wiggle around with Belladonnas? I mean, they're kinda absorbing. - Asked me Griffon from my shoulder, using the ocassion to speak up.

- Sure I am pal. They're necessary for us to achive the main goal of having humans and faunus as equals. If not them, it wouldn't be even truly possible. - I answered straight away, making my partner move slightly backwards in respect, which saved me from going over all my goals.

- Fair enough, let's do this. - Said Griffon, now concious of the game I was playing there.

Sebastian pow:

- Hey, Chan! - I said out loud to my friend, spotting her amongst crowd of very likely most cramped street in Kuo Kuana.

- Seb? What are you doing here? - She asked in response, taken aback by my sudden arrival.

- "Play it cool Seb, she's not keen to talk about it, but you have emotional leverage on your side so do it for her own sake." - Heavy thought striked my mind, setting my general direction of solving this problem.

- Can we have a talk? I want to ask you something. - I asked her, doing it with caution.

- Emm... Sure, I guess. - She answered nervousley, her face going red from nerves. - Just in two please. - She added, not changing her ahaking posture even a bit.

(Timeskip, twenty five minutes later.)

- So, what do you need to know that much? - Asked me Chan as we were busy watching the sun from low hillside located right on west of Kuo Kuana me on the left and her on the right.

- I need to know why are you so nervous recentley. - I asked her straightforward, causing her to turn her head to me with confused face.

- What do you mean? I'm not nervous! Not even an inch! - She quickly defended herself, turning herself so her front was directed right at me.

- Seriously Chan, I can see this stuff even from distance. - I pressed on, knowing not much more than before. - I can see how you hide your nervous overreacting when you lost with Emerald during the exhibition match. - I continued, making her gulp in at my realisation. - So for the love of Oum tell me: What. Is. Wrong. - I ended with a deadpen and completley still posture, now also turned directly facing my compan.

- Ummm... How do I say it... - Chan began to akwardly telling to me about it without realisation that being sideways to hillside makes you prone for tumbling downhill, which isn't really safe.

- Gotcha! - I shouted, using my natural reflexes to jump towards her left side and catching her with both arms around her waist, then pulling her to myself in a hug from behind after drifting on hill using it's curve to prevent her from falling. - Phew! That was close... - I slowed down, seeing that hillside was full of rocks, low cliffs and generally a lit of natural and not living hazards.

- T-Thank you... I guess... - Answered to me Chan, having her realisation of what could happen if no one did nothing being combined with her embaressment. - I owe this explenation for that one. - She added, as we slowly rised up on our legs in sync.

- OK, do you want me to take hands off from you and stay away from your back? - I asked right after we took our stanging positions, careful to not do something stupid.

- Thanks for asking but no. You're actually nice to be close to. - She answered, moving her head backwards so she could see me upside down.

- Fine, as long as you tell me what's wrong. - I gave my opinion on it, tightening my grip little enough for her to not see the diffrence. - "Dear lord, I just hope I won't dump her into stuff like this just because I want answers." - I thought deep in mind as we stood here in silence and flash of orange light from Sun falling behind the horizon.

- You know. My... Inconvinience was because I'm just not used to losing and I lost back there my... Second or third time in a row actually. - Chan finally break the silence. - But now I can let it slip past me. - She added with wide smile, looking at the endless sea in front of her.

- Yeah, thanks for that. - I replied swiftly, as we were feeling breeze coming from the sea.

Narrator pow:

- You were right back then. Our brawlers really are a bit dorky when together. - Said Fourtress, as he and Fall Hydranoid watchrd the scene from the ground near the two people, whose attention was absorbed by eachother at the moment.

- Thank you for good memory. - She answered in deep feminine tone. - But how about we just let them have the moment? They sure need to takÄ™ what's good from it. - She added right after, seeing the mentioned two having a chit chat.

- No argument there. - Replied Fourtress. - But what we can talk about? - He asked troubled, causing ball sized Fall Maiden to groan in annpyance.

(Meanwhile, Belladona's family house.)

Maken pow:

- Thank you for the time sir! - I said to Ghira as we were talking about present situation, sitting an furniture and small coffe table in his office. - But I think there is also something about... - I cut myself mid-sentence, seeing Blake enter the room with a tray and three tea cups on it, which was stabilized by Ravenoid being the elevation from under the tray (I mean hey, bakugans in ball form can fly to some extend so I guess it was smart for them to do so.).

- Uh, hey dad... Hi Maken... -. She said slowly, staying right before the doors.

- Blake! Well, this is a pleasant suprise. - Chieftain was first to talk to her, given his position as her dad.

- I... - Blake stuttered a bit, paralyzed by something that surely was capable of doing such to her.

- Please, come sit. - Ghira stand up from his sitting place and gave kind command to her, to which she obeyed, walking towards us, leaving the tray on table, but then taking few steps back.

- Don't worry, I've got it. Sit down, sit down. - Ghira told her in instance, pointing out his will to have her stay here.

- I don' wanna keep you if you're- - Blake began her attempt to go away only to be cut by her dad's raised arm.

- Nonsence, I've been cooped up in here all day. Besides, Maken came here for conversation that surely will catch your attention. - He said with calm tone, waiting for her reaction.

- Blake, please. - Added Ravenoid, now on his brawler left shoulder.

- Allright, sorry. - She answered with depressed face, walking forward and taking a seat at the couch, so she could be between me on her right side and Ghira on her left side.

- You still takÄ™ sugar, right? - Asked her Ghira, moving up cube of it near her cup.

- Oh, actually, uh... - Blake got herself confused, while I used hand gesture to inform Ghira that he shoukd give her time. - I no longer do, thanks. - She finally maked up her mind, waiting for response with akward smile.

- Oh, right. - Said Ghira, taking the cube back to the middle of the tabl, after which a troublesome silence occured in the room.

- Since tea will take it's time to cool down, how about we get to the point? - I asked, breaking the silent stalemate.

- Right. - Added Blake, at which Ghira, Ravenoid and Griffon nodded in unision.

- Since no one's willing, I start. - I finally said, deciding to speak up. - I recently heard that you have aome troubles with keeping yourself cool again. - I said to her, at which she leaned to her left, eyes getting widely open.

- It's just... A lot of things, really. - She began to explain herself.

- Then maybe we should cover them one by one? Family is for me above anything else. - Said Ghira, moving from armchait to Blake, sitting directly on her left and puting his hand on her back.

- Let's start with... How I treted you when you and mum left White Fang back then. - She began to sob, while Ghira and me Got closer to give her comforting hugs (Ravenoid and Griffon went on the table since they couldn't help too much with this.).

- Blake, it' fine. We never held anything against you, and I never feared you will fail. The only thing I ever feared was that you would fall down the wrong path, and I am so proud to see you haven't. - Ghira comforted her, giving her his point of view on the situation.

- But I did! - Replied Blake, now full on crying and wincing.

- You didn't. - I took my turn to talk to her just to gave her dad chance to speak again.

- You pulled yourself up. You came back. There aren't many who possess that kind of strength and even fewer that have the courage to face their demons again. Vale,Mountain Glenn, Beacon. You confronted the White Fang time after time. - Ghira took his turn to explain his thoughts once more.

- I didn't do it alone. - Blake said, lowering her head down in shame.

- No one would, not even me. - I countered her, taking my turn. - Why do you think I decided to team up with you when you were at your lowest point back in Beacon? - I asked her in geniuenly soft voice.

- Because you wanted to have me on the team and we had similar foals? - She turned her head to me and asked.

- No. I did it because I knew how much of a great person everyone can be with right company around you. - I said, causing her to shake a bit, which both I and Ghira countered by tightening our hugs. - I believed that maybe with some friends, some jokes and generally some people who are either like you or positive to such could make a diffrence. But I guess I underestimated how much you went by, always thinking don't let her go under you about it. - I ended my speech, causing both Belladonna's to move to their left, which also included end of my and Ghira's embraces on Blake.

- You haven't! - Said loudly Blake out of disbelief.

- Then where I was during fall of Beacon? - I asked right away, causing her to put her hands on her mouth and stare at me in shock. - I directly told all of our teammates to move away from Vale instead of saving you and your friends. - I bursted out in suprisingly calm manner, using heavy accent in some parts for better effect. - You still think you're the one to blame for being one of all suprised people and not using Ravenoid in defence because Atlesian military wanting new death tools is bad, or guy who had six fully combat ready brawlers with equipment, bakugans and capability to fight on his own, but instead of saving his first and best friend that isn't a bakugan basically said: Screw her and all those good people, all of us are getting out before things go south. - I ended my speech, leaving both listeners speechless and shocked.

- Oh. I... I... Never lookedat this from your perspective. - Blake stuttered out, shaking completley.

- And neither did I. - I comforted her right away, finally feeling some guilt (I know, being happy because you were feeling guilt is stupid. But hey, it's sometimes necessary, ok?).

- So, we're all clear and fine on this topic? - Asked Ghira after while of silence.

- Yes, we are. - Both me and Blake said im response at the same time. Her getting embarresed because of it.

- May I know what are you talking about? It sounds very important. - Said Kali, opening the door from balony and walking into the room.

- We're talking about family and personal troubles. - I said with small smile. - You're more than welcome to join. - I added right after, letting her in.

Narrator pow:

- So, what now? - Emerald asked Volt as they were busy drinking local drinks while walking on the busy streets of Kuo Kuana.

- Where is Lync? I really don't want him to do something bad for himself. - Said Volt, looking in front of him.

(Small cut for a while to one of deserts in nort-east Menagerie, where we can See Ventus El Condor spamming lasers at godforsaken Grimm while Lync is busy helping local people with finishing off the weakened ones who happen to survive the orbital bombardment thanks to his laser sword in gauntlet. He also pretends to be some sort of militarny officer, which suprisingly enough isn't coming out as bad as it sounds.)

- Naah, he'll be fine, I can bet on it. - Emerald gave a stop sign with her hand.

- Fiiine, let's move on at actually important topic. - Volt said with a groan. - How about we talk how does internal politics of Menagerie look like? - He asked her, having sudsen flash in his eyes.

(Ten minutes later.)

- So, let me get this straight. - Emerald said towards Volt, as they sat on the beach with a big map of Menagerie in hand. - Chieftain of Menagerie had barely even a representative role regarfing Menagerie, because all other chieftains that govern in total one hundred villages, settlements and coastal free states on this island don't care in the slightest about the world? - She asked him, tilting her head.

- Yes. - Replied Haos brawler, looking far away at the Sun. - They almost entirely scattered across northern coast, that's where fifty seven settlements are located. They mostly just live like in Kuo Kuana, The diffrence is everything is smaller. - He counted them with his eyes before turning to another part of the map. - On western coast there are forty two places that are settled in form of organized place, they do the same and are the same. - Volt continued his analysys while turning his attention to middle of the map. - Althrough coastal villages are all independent, similar on painful levels and in fact are just poorer and smaller versions of Kuo Kuana, there are two more political forces on this island, both located deeper in the land of Menagerie. First one has basically entire south coast for themselves and are the same that other societies on island but without trade with the rest of Remnant. - Volt maked a pause, looking directly at the deser which covered about two third of island.

- And second one? - Asked Emerald, feeling nervous about whole situation.

- The last group on Menagerie posesses entire eastern coast for themselves alongside that entire desert. They mostly raid northern and southern villages to grab whatever they need right now, which makes sense since they basically a desert horde operating on horses and camels. Before you ask, besides White Fang activity that's all political stuff meeded to know about Menagerie. - Volt summed up all informations, getting up and walking away from the beach.

- Wait for me! - Shouted Emerald, going after him.

(Timeskip, early night.)

Maken pow:

- May I enter? - I knocking the door that led to the balcony where Blake was standing.

- Sure, please walk in. - She replied softly, at which I opened the door and came to her side.

- How you're feeling? - I casually asked.

- Great, thanks for caring. - She maked a weak smile and turned her attention from forest to me. - We have already explained between eachother and my parents all difficulties, like my nightmares, how I commented on them when they left the White Fang, how I left my teoretical team after fall of Beacon, even family matters from past. - She said, putting her hands together on her waist. - In the end, I decided to just... Help you at my all. - She said after while of thinking. - I just wasn't fully dedicated to it since I had family, White Fang, my original teammates and some other things covered back of my mind. Now I just... See how much you care about me and want to piece my mind so It will finally be consistent. - She added softly, looking me on the eyes.

- Since you want to thank me, how about we get this spy from the bush? - I asker her in response, using the ocassional spotting of irregularity within shades of brown and green in the bush right after the balcony.

- Right! - Shouted Blake, as she jumped onti the railing and chased fleeing observer while I loaded teleportation card in my gauntlet.

- What happened? - Asked me Kali, peeling from the door frames.

- This house has been spied upon. Want to help Blake? - I asked her, cocking up gauntlet and activating the ability.

(Timeskip, twenty two seconds later.)

- Stop! - Shouted Blake, running On Kuo Kuana's rooftops after female White Fang member who was dressed in dark stealh suit and characteristic mask.

- No! - The fleeing girl replied with highly pitched voice, changing her skin to generally darker colour scheme, making herself less visible in night.

- Footdive! - Suddenly shouted Maken from above, as he and Kali landed a succesful tag team attack on suprised runner, kicking her back onto the ground. - Better be careful and keep distance, she surely has a trick or two. - Maken instantly instructed two woman, as he dropped a gate card on the ground, then they slowly surrounded their opponent, who was busy rising up on her feet, broken parts of mask falling one after one from two double kicks recieved earlier, revealing face of a young girl with slight chameleon faunus traits.

- Ilia. - Said Blake to surrounded girl in disbelief mixed with disappointment.

- Better give up or else- - Girl spoked up but was cut by Maken throwing rock at her head. - What?! - She turned around to Pyrus brawler and saw him holding her scroll in hand. - Give ot back. - She said on threathing voice, taking out her Lightning Lash and taking a combat stance.

- Gate card open, Active Ghost! - I shouted out loud the command, upon which Ilia blowed up with a scream and fell on the floor unconcious.

- What now? - Kali asked us, unsure about what to do.

- It's simple. - I said, giving Blake the informative look.

-We're going to investigate her. - She ended the sentence, after which she came up to me and we gave eachother a fist bump.
