Autor pow:
Hi guys! I came here for rather common purpouse I usually avoid unlike many, many other writers around there: Please, follow the story of you're intrested, mark as your favourite if you really enjoy it and leave a review if you want to inform me about anything related to the story. The review doesn't even have to be positive, I just want to see what you, as people who are reading this story consider as good, what as bad and what as capable of improvment as well as anything else that fits in what I described earlier.
It costs you maximally a minute or two but helps me a lot by letting me know that "Hey, people like this, so I should totally continue doing/making it instead of leaving it regardless of it already is because my little ambitions were greatly overestimated."
Anyways, here is new chapter for y'all:
Maken pow:
- Hey! Blake! - I shouted towards my pal as I ran to her in front of the arena.
- Oh, Maken. Haven't seen you up there. - She turned around with grace and make a little blush.
- It happen even to the best, no shame in it. - I went to comfort her with carefully picked words. - Your parents wanted me to tell you that they're proud and all of that... - I kept on talking, sending the message from chieftain.
- I see... - She looked around with her Cat ears twiching back and forth. - We need to talk. - She catched me all of a sudden and dragged me in her direction.
(Fiveteen minutes later.)
- May I ask what's the matter? - I asked her while we were alone in one of middle condignations of CCT tower, busy looking throu the windows at the natural beauty of the desert.
- Let's say... I'm feeling bad about staying here with you all while I... I could just go on and reunite with Ruby, Yang, Weiss... They sure hope I could come back if what you say is true. - Blake said, making a few pauses for herself to sigh.
- I mean... You can just abandon the tournament, or even go after the end of it. There is nothing bad in it from my perspective. And I bet rest of my crew and your parents feel the same. - I make two steps sideways to stand behind her and embraced her in a one-armed hug with my left arm going under her's and then on her waist.
- Maybe... Or maybe I'm just going crazy. - Said Blake with resignation. - I turned back to my home to think things over, and what did I thinked over? Not much. - She added, lowering her head. - All that happened here is you're succesful so far attempts to make Menagerie a kingdom while protectively babysitting me, which I don't like but also know is necessary at this point. - She continued her rant, making me think over what could I do in this situation, since as unformal deus ex machina and team leader I was obligated to solve it anyways. - What am I even supposed to do now? And better question, do you even think of it as actual problem or bursting out of my old personality? - She ended her sayings with a question, face crunched from nerves.
- To start with the last question, I know from my personal experience that some people tend to stockpile their emotional luggage even if it's bad idea for them, so I do believe it's an actual problem. - I started to defuse her problems, starting with the last one. - As for thinking over, it already is done, all other things that need to be solved require something else than thinking or talking so there is no need to deal with it- - I continued but was interrupted by Blake.
- Wait, now I realised something. - She turned around and faced me, still in my half-hug. - I thought you've seen me happy on the arena, how did you know I'm... - She said to me, losing words in later part of her sentense, after which she let me talk.
- You tend to hide your emotions and that's okay. I do the same from time to time so I already know how it works. - I moved my right arm up and leaning it under her arm to connect my hands on her back.
- Umm... Right. - She moved her head up and stared in my eyes, giving me an empty look. - It still doesn't change the fact that I don't know what to do next. Stay with you or... Go back to them. - She returned to her primary question, leaning her head on my chest.
- *sigh* What you should do depends on one simple factor. - I said to her, making her move her head up to look at me. - Who do you feel is closer to you? Ruby, Weiss and Yang or Me, Volt, Lync, Chan Lee, Sebastian and Emerald? - I asked her, making her shake a little in response.
Blake pow:
- "I know what is under your bow, so don't try to trick me." - I saw in front of me a single sentence composed of white, familiar letters, while rest of the world around was completley dark.
- "Woo-hoo-hahaha!" - I heard low pitched warcry from behind. As I turned around I saw a brief cut of Maken showing himself as level above Weiss back from our time in Beacon Academy.
- "Why are you here?" - I heard next voice on the left, which I recognized as mine. As I looked towards the source of it I saw Maken walking towards me with right arm taken out.
- "To help, Blake." - He then said to my younger self, after which the image blured beyond recognition.
- So, you're finally here. - I heard another voice from the place blured image was.
- W-who are you? - I stutter, asking the enigmatic voice.
- I'm you, just younger and worse. - Replied to me girly voice, which turned out to be my younger self from the time period between leaving the White Fang and enrolling into Beacon Academy.
- Oh. And why are you... - I tried to ask her but was interrupted by her raised hand making a "stop" sign.
- I just want to tell you that you became who you are thanks to Maken, everyone else was either passing by or came with him. - She told me with weak voice, walking around me in circles. - And althrough I am being currently anihilated by Maken's sheer existance by your side as a sign of your past, I want to tell you one thing. - She stopped in front of me and gave me a weak smile from the side. - Please, give him the same treatment he gaves you. - She ended her speech, turning into dust while my vision got foggy beyond my understanding.
Narrator pow:
- Ugh... How long... was I out? - Asked Blake, slowly opening her eyes.
- Two minutes, I thought you just fell asleep. - Answered her question Maken, looking on the window behind her. - Also, I just got a message from Volt that he found something you'll surely like. - He added right after, taking Blake by the hand and going with her towards the elevator.
(Fiveteen minutes later)
- All right, this is the place. - Maken said, pointing towards the hall shaped building with few guards recruited from local population around it with pistols, covered from eventual attacks by barbed wire, trenches and ocassional walls for protection. Building was located a short walk away from Bakugan City and was basically a reasech facility with no preciseld speciality. His brigh brown walls only increased intrest of people who happen to come near it, just for security to watch over the lone person going away with fast stride.
- Let's go in, I guess. - Replied Blake as they both prepared their pass documents on their scrolls and went forward to meet the guards.
- Passes please. - Approached them a very bulky coyote faunus with pistol in hand, to which two visitors showed their scrolls with requested documents on it. - Mhm, mhm... Come in then. - Said the guard, giving them the appropriate nod, at which they went forward.
- Security is tighter than one in my home. - Said to herself Blake, thinking what could be stored in such place.
- Volt is a very seriois man who doesn't enjoy random events. - Maken explained, as they went throu already opened gate and enter the main building. The inside was rather spacious, althrough ammount of workers and scientists walking back and forth with paperd, documents, blueprints or just materials and instalations make it just as cramped as Kuo Kuana in rush hour.
- Maken, Blake. - Two visitors were approached by Volt, who came from the side to greet them in his usual fashion. - Please, come after me. I have something very important which demands attention from both of you. - He started with serious face, as he turned around and led the way.
- 51, 52... 55, 56! It's this one. - Said Volt after a short while, pointing to the doors with number "56" on them.
- Let's go inside then. - Maken gave his command, to which Volt responded by opening the door and entering the room before his two teammates did the same.
- Hmm, I sense something... Wrong in here. - Blake said as her cat ears twiched, sensing unusual force.
- Yeah... Can you explaim please? - Asked Maken, closing the door behind the group and then joining them as they went forward towards the tube made of reinforced glass, where a small metalic ball was placed on the middle.
- Look at this. - Said Volt in response, pointing towards a canister filled with dust particles of golden and autumn colours. - This dust is what remains from Pyrrha Nikos, at least until now. - He said, changing his tone on more and more serious.
- Pyrrha? How did collect it? - Asked Blake, taken aback with his explenation.
- When Maken was busy organising the crew to left this place, I happen to find the dust flying around the sky above Vale while I was packing my secret lab. I decided to just take it in a jar and then take with myself for experiments. - Volt explained, walking in a straight line between the scientific instalation and his two friends. - Then I read the news, added some occurences and what I knew about the bad guys from down there, rest isn't needed to explain this. - He ended, making three steps to the left and putting his hands on lever. - We can't bring her back as human, but we can make her a bakugan. What do you think? - He asked them, giving a hopeful look towards Maken.
- One. More. Question. - Said Maken, putting heavy accent on each word. - Why did you kept it a secret? - He asked, frowning his eyes.
- I'm experimanting on my own hand, Remnant needs her in our hands if we are about to dump Grimm into nonexistance. - Said Volt, saying the last part with hidden grudge.
- On that case I think that what you dis was for the best. Hovewer, the job of finding her a brawler is in your hands. - Maken stated, giving Volt his unformal permission.
- In that case, I'll let the science revive the death! - Shouted man in question with passion, pulling the leverage down, which caused the dust particles to slowly move via tight pipe towards the main tube where ball shaped object was standing on the ground.
- Wait for it... - Said Volt, observing the process with great focus. - Three, two, one, BLUE? - He shouted in suprise, with marble and dust taking an aquamarine colour.
- Blue? - Both Maken and Blake asked, suprised just as much as him if not even more.
- ... Okay then, let's see what we're getting... - Pounded Volt, turning his head to the left where a display board showed up with various informations and textwalls on it. - Aquos... Pyrrha, seems about what should it be. - He added, seeing her open ball model. It consisted on arms opening in style of Siege, Fourtress - like legs and head popping up just like ball versions of El Condor, which in total maked for a unique, yet well known and cheap look.
- That is certainly something. -Alen throw a random comment while Volt pressed the white button on the right side of the glass tube, upon which it went upwards giving away the access to new bakugan.
- Hmph, why I even bothered with mechanical bakugans when I could just save other people lives? - Volt question himself while picking up Aquos bakugan from the ground. - Now then, let's commence with explanations. - He added shortly after, making his hands come together in inside-up position with newly formed bakugan on it.
- Uhh... - Pyrrha said, wiggling a little before popping up in front of Maken and Blake, who stared at their old classmate new form. - Oh, Maken, Blake! WhatWhy an I alive? - She asked her most ugent questions.
(Half am hour of bickering and being sorry later.)
- OK, I think I know all I need. - Said Pyrrha, jumping onto Volt's shoulder and turning around to match the direction he was going. - See you later! - She added as whole group left the building, Volt going left while Maken and Blake went right.
- So, what now? - Amazonian like warrior asked.
- We will watch what comes next, in my plans you're staying with me for sake of safety. Hovewer... - Volt said, pausing to look on his scroll where the video of Haos Tigrerra heavly chewing Pyrus Griffon back to his ball form was displayed. - ... It seems that you came back just for the important part to go off...
