It was dark and cold. Andrew could see himself standing on solid ground but could not see it. He looked around to find a grand stone wall so long that he could not see the end but only watch it fade into nothingness. This wall was not perfect, as there was a huge crack in it. He approached the wall and ran his finger along the crack. He heard a voice.

"A curious state…" a voice said from the other side of the wall. It was the same voice as the last time he had a dream like this, but the voice sounded more distinguished, more unique, and unlike his own.

"Hello?" Andrew asked as he took a step back from the wall.

After a few moments, the voice responded. "So we meet again. This is quite the predicament we find ourselves in."

Andrew looked around for anything else in this void but saw nothing else. He turned his attention back to the wall. "So you're the voice from before? What is happening?"

"I, unfortunately, do not know. Although if we take a moment to think about this, we first met in a similar space but without body, only voice, and now I have my body, but it seems as though a wall prohibits us from meeting fully."

"I have my body as well, but I wonder what this means," Andrew told the voice. He was about to ask another question but felt a pulling sensation, not unlike the last time he was in this space. "I'm being pulled away again!" Andrew yelled.

"Very curious…" the voice said.

Andrew found himself on the rooftop of a building outside the royal palace. He still had bloodied chains wrapped around his wrists but wore a tattered black cloak. He looked around and saw guards running out of a small police station and going into the alleyways, probably searching for him. "Why is this happening?" he thought to himself as he sat down and caught his head in his hands. He kept thinking about his blackouts and that he couldn't seem to remember what happens when he loses control. He needed a plan as to how he was going to get off this planet before its destroyed.

A sudden noise pulled him out of his thoughts. He looked over where the noise originated and discovered Haley on the ground next to a knocked-over trash can near the police station. He dropped down and walked over to her. She shot up with a gasp, but before she could scream for help, Andrew pulled his hood back, and his face came to light. Haley was still on guard. "Andrew…" she said while slowly stepping back. She began to sweat lightly. "Haley, I know this is a lot, but I don't know what's happening to me or how we got here, to begin with. All I'm doing right now is trying to get off this planet before it's destroyed. The only thing I ask is that you tell me where the nearest spaceport is and don't tell anyone I'm here. Can you do that?" Haley didn't speak. She only stared at him. Andrew was beginning to feel uneasy from her expression.

Haley then yelled. "Why should I help you?! I know you didn't bring us here, but you've killed people and kidnapped a woman!" Andrew lowered his head. "I'm sorry I black out when I get angry and when I come to, I wake up in these weird places and with someone accusing me of something I know I wouldn't do." He looked at her and began to walk slowly to her. He then began to raise his voice. "Do you have any idea what it's like to have people call you a rapist, murderer, or even kidnapper?!" she began to step backward. "I even tried to defend these people! I wanted to get us all home, but no! Everyone is just out for themselves! It doesn't matter what universe we're in. The weak are stepped on while the strong thrive!" his eyes turned gold, and Haley backed into the wall. He slammed his hand next to her head, and the wall cracked slightly, and his voice softened. "I'm done being the good guy. It's time I get what I want, and that's to watch this world burn with them on it."

Haley paled at what he said. She couldn't believe it. She always felt bad for him at school but never did anything to stop James. From what she heard from everyone, he'd had killed a few guards and kidnapped a doctor, but it was reported that she was found dead with her neck broken and left in an alleyway yesterday. Maybe he was telling the truth and really couldn't remember when he loses control, but either way, she couldn't blame him for feeling this way. She even felt partly responsible for pushing him over the edge.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She took a second to calm herself. She opened her eyes and spoke. "I'll help you, but only if I can leave the planet with you." Andrew eyed her for a moment before responding. "Fine, but if you slow me down for even a moment, I'll kill you without hesitation." the sweat on her forehead was visible, and even though she was keeping a straight face, her legs and hands were shaking. "Deal."

Without missing a beat, Andrew turned away from her. "First things first, we have to get a ship, and to do that, we need to find a spaceport." Haley released a breath she didn't know she was holding and was overcome with relief. Haley spoke. "Well, I could always ask the police where it is since I'm not wanted." Andrew looked over his shoulder. His fiery eyes pierced her own, and her heart dropped. She could feel the air become thick, almost suffocating her. He spoke. "If you say a word to them, I'll kill them all, and then you…Remember that." she gulped and nodded her head.

She made her way into the police station. Andrew wasn't sure if he could trust her yet. "You can trust her…" a voice said. He tensed and looked around frantically but couldn't find anyone. "Who's there?" He got no response. "She fears you too much to undermine you." he then recognized the voice. It was the one from his dreams. "So…It's you from my dreams. How can you talk to me?" the voice was quiet for a moment. "It seems to me whenever you use the Dark Side of the force, the walls between us lessen. Hence our now more direct line of communication rather than only while you're unconscious." Andrew nodded his head. "So I'm using the dark side…I should feel bad, but it feels too good for me to stop now," he thought. The entity's voice didn't say anything about his thought. "So only verbal communication…that's useful."

Haley had returned. "They told me the spaceport was on the other side of the city." she was still sweating, and her hands shaking. Andrew didn't respond but began to walk away. She followed. They were making their way through the city through the alleyways to avoid everyone. Which seemed to work until a patrol was doing a sweep of the alleyway. They turned around, but there was a second patrol doing the same. They were boxed in. Haley looked somewhat relieved by their presence. She bolted to the patrol in front of them. Andrew was right behind her. They ran past a dumpster that had a broken shovel in it. He grabbed it and threw it like a javelin.

The patrol saw the two running at them. "Freeze!" one of them said. The other guard was reaching for his commlink to get reinforcements, but before he could speak, the broken end of the shovel went into his right eye and out the back of his head. He was killed before he even hit the ground. The other guard panicked and tried to shoot but couldn't, as Andrew was too close to Haley. At the last second, she tripped and gave the guard a clear shot. He shot, but Andrew used the chain around his right wrist to absorb the shot. It worked but at the cost of the chain and left a third-degree burn. The pain angered him, and he punched the guard with all the force he could muster. The blow ended up breaking the man's neck. Andrew checked his wrist and winced. He wrapped the chain on his left arm around his fist for makeshift brass knuckles.

He turned around to see Haley running into the main street, screaming. If that blaster shot didn't tell the whole city something was wrong, her screaming sure did. He ran out to get her, but in moments he was surrounded by guards, but they weren't alone. James, Harry, and Chloe were with them, and they were armed. Haley ran into Chloe's arms and cried while James walked up to him and put a blaster to his head. "Get on your knees," James said. Andrew glared in response. "ON YOUR KNEES!" he shouted. Andrew then complied. "What are you doing? He'll kill you! Here lose control, get angry! Let me take over. I'll kill them all!" the voice was screaming in his head. "I don't know what happened to your eyes, but it doesn't matter. You kidnapped us, raped Chloe, and took the love of my life hostage!" he yelled. Andrew was silent. James got in his face. "Maybe I should chop your dick off and feed it to you before you die, or how about I get some people to rape you instead? Well, you actually might be into that, you sick fuck." Andrew knew what James was doing. He was looking to get a rise out of him, anything for him to use as an excuse to pull the trigger.

"Please…Don't…" James turned around to see where to plea came from. It was Haley. "I know he's done terrible things, but in all honesty, who are we to judge? We made him who he is," Chloe let go of her friend and took a step back. "Are you saying that the rape was MY FAULT!" Haley put up her hands. "We didn't force him to kidnap all of us!" Harry added. Haley's breathing became rapid, and she fell to her knees, clenching her chest. James ran to her and held her. Her breathing became steady, but her heart was pounding, and she was shaking. "What the hell, guys? He caused this. Not her!" he yelled as he pointed to Andrew. Harry walked over to Andrew and pistol-whipped him. Andrew fell over, and Harry stomped on him twice. Andrew got back to his knees and faced him. His body ached, but it only fueled his rage more. Harry put a blaster to Andrew's forehead. "MOVE NOW OR YOU DIE!" the voice screamed. Andrew grabbed the blaster with his right hand just enough that when Harry pulled the trigger, it missed him completely. Andrew threw a left hook so hard with his chained fist it snapped his neck and dislocated Harry's jaw. Harry fell to the ground, spazzing and coughing up blood. He didn't die, but he was about to. Andrew stood over him, watching. This man helped bully him for three years, and now he paid the price only in a few seconds. He smirked.

Chloe screamed, and James froze. Haley paled at what just happened. She was staring at Harry's now lifeless body, and Chloe's scream began to become muffled. Correction the entire world became silent. All she could hear was a small ringing sound. This was James' best friend, a man she'd known since middle school and now he's gone…just like that. James shot at Andrew, but luckily he blocked it with the chain. He lost the chain and gained another burn mark on the back of his hand. Chloe stopped screaming at the blaster shot, and James got up. Haley didn't react.

James aimed the blaster at Andrew as he stormed up to him, but before he could pull the trigger, he stopped dead in his tracks. No one moved or made a sound. The air became thick, and it was so silent you could hear sweat drip onto the ground from everyone. Some people began to shiver, including Andrew. He felt cold. This feeling of emptiness enveloped him. He, for some reason, could feel all the emotional pain he had ever gone through all at once and amplified times ten. He began to shake. He couldn't handle it, and before he knew it, his head was already pushed up against the barrel of the blaster, courtesy of himself.

One noise cut through it all. One noise drew everyone's attention. One noise sent fear into their souls. It was the sound of someone breathing. Not just anyone but the most ruthless man in the galaxy. They all looked over to see Vader walking up to the group.
